Chloe exited her room with a bag over her shoulder, and walked into the kitchen where Aubrey was.

"Where is Stacie?" She asked.

Aubrey looked up from the text book she had opened and started to read from.

"She is in my room getting some sleep." Aubrey watched as Chloe disappeared to her room for a moment, before returning holding Stacies keys. Then grabbed the first aid kit off of the counter, and put it in her bag.

"Chloe?"

The redhead who seemed to be in her own little world, looked at Aubrey. " Yeah?"

"What's going on?" She asked.

"I'm going to see Beca, I need the keys to get in, and I don't know if she has a first aid kit in her apartment. Becas hand will need to be cleaned." She said.

"You have class today." Aubrey said softly, to make sure chloe knew she wasnt against her seeing Beca, but was also still concerned with her focus.

"I'm aware. And I will be there." She said gently and walked over to the blonde.

"Thanks for the concern, Bree." She said and kissed her on the cheek, "Just between you and me." She said as she walked away.

"You and Stacie make a cute couple."

Aubrey sputtered, unable to get out a clear sentence as Chloe smirked and walked out of the apartment.

Aubrey looked wide eyed at the door long after it had closed. She felt the heat in her cheeks.

There was no use in denying she had been feeling something for the other girl, because she had. Only, up until Stacie, Aubrey hadnt ever looked at another girl like that. She smiled lightly, remembering the feeling she got When Stacie grabbed her hand, or kissed her cheek. She glanced in the direction of her room, where she knew Stacie was sleeping soundly.

She definitely needed some expert advice, but would have to wait until said expert returned from Stacies apartment.

Chloe unlocked the front door to Staices apartment, and let herself in. Quietly closing it and made her way into the kitchen. She jumped and her hand flew up to her chest in surprise as she saw Beca sitting at the kitchen table.

"Jesus, Beca... You scared me." She laughed lightly, her hand still clutching her chest.

Beca didn't move, but she looked at the other girl with hesitance. Chloe smiled at her, but didn't walk in any further.

"How are you feeling today?" She asked softly. All she got in return was Beca looking down at her hand that was resting on the table. Chloe looked down and noticed it was no longer wrapped, but Beca had pulled it from the table and placed it in her lap, not looking back up.

Chloe looked at her sadly. "How is it?" She asked cautiously, not knowing how Beca might react to her bringing up the cut.

She was silent for a moment, before speaking in a barely audible voice.

"It bled through."

Chloe stepped closer, "I'm sorry... I didn't hear you." She said gently and stepped even closer to the table.

Becas eyes flickered up just briefly. "It bled through..."

Chloe heard this time and could see the shame on Becas face.

"Through the bandage?"

She nodded slowly as Chloe very carefully sat down, not wanting to intrude on her space. She didn't seem to mind however and the redhead took the bag off of her shoulder and set it on the table.

"Does it hurt?"

"It got on the bed sheet." She said. "I scrubbed it to get it out, but I think it might stain..." She said her voice becoming more and more upset as she spoke. Chloe then registered the sound of the washing machine going.

"I'm sure it will... Wait, did you say you scrubbed it?"

She nodded again. "To get the blood out."

"Beca let me see your hand." She said sternly. Beca lifted her eyes, but not her hand.

"It's fine," she said and Chloe could see she was cradling it closer to her, even as she spoke.

"Beca, give me your hand. Now." She said, figuring being soft about it wasn't going to help.

"No." She said and scooted back slightly.

Chloe watched as Beca withdrew even further. She felt her heart sink a bit. Maybe that wasn't going to help either.

"Please?" She said, a bit softer this time. Beca looked at her and Chloe could see something dancing in her eyes that she hadn't seen before. It was an emotion she didn't recognize, not on Beca.

"I just want to clean it up, and put a fresh bandage on it." She said as she pulled out the first aid kit. "See? I brought this with me." She said.

Beca looked at the box, the at the floor again, before she slowly stood up, and keeping her injured hand close to her, she carefully picked up the box from the table and Chloe watched as she walked out of the kitchen.

She looked after her sadly, then heard the click of the bathroom door closing.

Beca placed the box on the counter and turned on the cold water. Then taking a deep breath she held her hand under it. The cold water hitting her now even bigger cut, stung, but was soothing as well.

She had made it much worse, when she woke up to find she bled through the bandage. She had shot out of the bed and thrown the blanket back to find the sheet had blood streaked on it. White sheets. Of course.

In a frenzy she ripped the sheets from the bed and found the bleach in the cabinet below the sink. She poured it over the stains and scrubbed as hard as she could. Not only ripping her cut open more, but letting the bleach seep into it, causing a horrible sting that made her want to scream.

She didn't stop however. She had to clean the sheet. She had to get the blood out, and if she had to suffer from a little bleach getting into her cut, then so be it.

After letting the cold water run over it, and rinsing the blood from the sink that had seeped out, she opened the box and found the different things Stacie had used to clean it the night before, and did exactly what Stacie did. She finished by wrapping gauze around the thick bandage already in place. After taping it, she threw away the wrappers and closed the box. Inspecting her work, it wasn't as well done as Stacies had been, but she decided it was good enough.

She avoided looking in the mirror as she grabbed the box and made sure her sleeves were pulled down. Then, she opened the door and made her way back out into the kitchen.

Chloe still sat in her chair and looked up as Beca re entered.

She set the box down and stepped back. "Thank you."

Chloe nodded. "You're welcome." She said quietly.

"W-would you like some coffee?" She asked softly, motioning to the coffee pot. "Uh, Stacie made some... She left a note, so I think it's okay if I make some..."

Chloe smiled sadly at her. "I would love some, but why don't you let me get it?" She asked as she stood up.

"I can do it." She said quickly. Chloe stopped half way out of her chair.

"Okay." She said and sat back down. Beca nodded and walked toward the coffee pot.

"Um. How do you like it?" She asked as she looked around trying to figure out which cupboard might have the mugs, without opening all of them.

Chloe watched as she answered. "Just a spoonful of sugar and some cream."

Beca nodded as her eyes landed on the cupboard that might have the mugs, she walked over and opened it. She had been right, but sighed as she realized this apartment belong to a girl nearly a foot taller than her.

The mugs were just out of her reach.

Chloe watched with an amused smile as she huffed and looked around before placing her hands on the counter top. Chloe winced as Beca lifted herself onto the counter, putting all of her weight on her hands.

Chloe stood slightly, her face showing concern as Beca slowly rose onto her knees to reach the mugs.

She wobbled a bit and Chloe was up from her chair in an instant coming up behind her.

Beca stilled as she felt two hands on her hips, steadying her. She looked down over her shoulder to see Chloe smiling at her.

"You're short, Beca. Own it. And ask for help so you don't break your neck please?" She laughed lightly making Beca smirk.

She grabbed a mug and passed it down, before grabbing another. Once they were both set a safe distance away Chloe helped her turn around until she was sat on the counter and Chloe stood so she was between her legs.

She still held her waist, and smiled at the shorter girl. "I'm sorry Beca." She said.

The dark blue eyes that had softened for just a moment, turned hard again.

"For what?" She asked, though she knew why Chloe was apologizing. She knew why Stacie wasn't there. She knew she had gone to talk to them, she wasn't stupid.

But she could play dumb just as well as the next person.

"You know why." She said moving her hands down to rest on her thighs. Beca felt a surge go through her and she looked down to where Chloes hands lay.

"You are so beautiful, and amazing, and I'm sorry I could ever be so stupid to talk the way I was about another girl right in front of you, or at all for that matter. It was wrong, and I hurt you. I'm sorry."

Beca looked down but her chin was lifted almost instantly by Chloes finger.

"You don't have to forgive me. I just need you to know." She said.

Beca nodded once. "It's okay,"

Chloe smiled, though she knew that it really wasn't. That Beca was still hurt by what she had done, but she forgave her anyway.

"I'd like to give you a kiss, if you'll let me?" She asked.

Beca looked up and then to Chloes lips, before back to her eyes. She felt butterflies erupt in her stomach at Chloes words.

She bit her lip and nodded once. Chloes smile couldn't have been bigger as she slowly leaned in and pressed her lips gently against Becas. Still unsure of her self, she let Chloes lips move against hers for a moment, before the redhead leaned in a little further, prompting her to kiss back. When she did, Chloes excitement got the best of her, and she deepened the kiss, running her tongue along Becas lip, begging for entrance.

She hesitated, but parted her lips, letting Chloes tongue barely enter her mouth as the kiss softened, and Chloes hands came up to rest on her neck. Her hands found Chloes hips and she placed them there lightly, still not sure if she should.

With a final kiss to her lips, a Chloe pulled back, knowing if she didn't stop, she might not be able too, and Beca wasn't ready for anything more.

"You have the softest lips." She said, leaning her forehead against Becas with a content smile.

"And I promise, you're not going to break me." She said placing her hands over Becas, where they were barely resting on her hips, and wrapped them firmly around her waist.

"You can touch me Beca, I'm not fragile." She winked. Beca blushed and looked down.

"I'd still like to take you out. You know... Woo you and all that." She laughed playfully.

Beca giggled and Chloe brightened at the sound. "Can I?"

She nodded and met Chloes eyes.

"I'm sorry too." She said. "I wish I hadn't done it. I'm trying." She admitted.

"I know you are. And I know it is going to take some time. But, we are here for you Baby. All three of us, especially me."

Beca looked up with a smile. She liked Chloes name for her. It was the most common pet name, but she liked it.

"Thank you." She said.

Chloe smiled and placed her hands on Becas lower back, pulling her forward so she could lay against her. She laid her head on the older girls chest, her arms wrapped around her waist. Chloes wrapped around her, with her cheek resting in the top of her head.

Both one hundred times happier then they had been when they woke up. Both content to stay in each other's arms for as long at the position would allow them. Coffee one hundred percent forgotten.

Beca felt a flutter of hope in her chest. That maybe if she stayed open to Chloe, she might be telling the truth. She might really be able to help her.

She closed her eyes and leaned against the older girl. Crossing her fingers, praying that she would be able to get better.
