Author's Notes!
Hey there! I know you guys are all mad at me, and I am really sorry for that. I was supposed to update this story as promised, but the copy where I am writing was corrupted and I can't retrieve all the stored future chapters that I was writing. Add to the fact of the heavy workload of school and work (Yes, I actually got work now), updating my stories were forced to be put on the back burner. But now, I think I can manage to squeeze in some time for fanfiction.
This one will not be the continuation for the current arc. This is some sort of a flashback-centric special thanks that I would like to do to compensate my absence, to give some more time to finalize the conclusion for the current arc and preparation for the next, and to express my gratitude for winning the Best Action/Adventure category in the 10th Annual Fannie Awards. Thank you very much for the award. I really appreciate the support that this story in particular got through the years. And I hope this special will make it up for it.
For better reading experience, I suggest to listen to this beautiful musical piece by thesecession (link: watch?v=zoyiRis_-ds) I will leave a note to when you should start playing the music.
This will still be canon to the universe of this story so be sure to read it still! :)
Let's get this started, shall we? My name's kmtdiccion and it is my absolute honor to present to you...
~ FLASHBACK ~
Kim's mother then said "Yes, he may have been the reason for the failure. But, like what I said earlier, what you did to Ron is shameful. You're his best friend right? Why can't you find room in your heart to forgive him?"
Anne stood up and took a picture of an 10 year-old Kim. She was wearing braces then. The doctor started "I, for one, know that you didn't have the perfect record either. And, do you remember this picture, Kimmie? This was done after putting those braces in your teeth. From that time, you cut Ron off like he was waste. You were completely all over that boy... What name is it?... Ah! Walter Nelson. You two went out for the carnival to have your 'date' with him. For weeks you didn't even call your 'best friend' to ask him how life was going for him."
Kim squirmed at her seat while the neurosurgeon continued "Then one time, as far as I recall the story Ron's mother shared, you and Walter locked braces when you tried to kiss. Ron was at the scene and saw the two of you stuck. Ron called her mother for a ride to the orthodontist. Gene, at first, refused. She insisted to call me. But you know what Ron did, right?"
The young redhead nodded.
"That's right. He fought for you. He said that it was a bad idea. I think it took a while before Gene Stoppable gave in and took you and Walter to the dentist shop."
Placing back the picture to the table, Anne asked "Kimmie, Ron does everything for your sake. Though he may 'goof up' on some of your missions, but is it his fault? Did he mean to harm you? I'm afraid not. Kim, that young boy is not like you. He's not that athletic or smart. But, I know that he's willing to give anything for you. You know why?"
The elder redhead paused, looking at her daughter. It looks like she's getting through her stubborn head. She smiled then answered "It's because he cared for you so much. Now, if you were in Ron's shoes, what would you feel if the one you cared so much talks to you like what you did? What would he feel?"

RIIIIIIIINNNGGGGG!
Two small chocolate orbs shot wide open to the sound of the ringing bells one fine morning in Middleton. One small lanky boy stifled a yawn as other students pack up their things and rushed towards the exit. He was never the one who stay up in class, and the old, monotonous voice of their teacher didn't help him either. While walking towards the door, he felt a piece of crumpled paper hit his head. Early on, he would look around and look for the perpetrator, only to hear his classmates laughing at him. Years of dealing with bullies has taught him to ignore them altogether. But, when he felt a heavy tap on his shoulder, he turned around and saw the sneering face of the one he least wanted to see: Jason Morgan.
"Hey Stops, where's my lunch?" He asked while gripping his shirt.
"H-Hey Jason... Uh... W-What's up?" Ron shivered in fear as he gave him a nervous smile. With a grunt, the aspiring basketball player gripped his shirt tighter, making the blonde boy gasp and sweat profusely. With another menacing look, his face went near him and said:
"Food. Now."
"Hey look! The loser's trying to fight. HAHA!" One boy sneered at him while Ron tried to think of anything to get his hands off of him.
The laughs coming from the group forming around the two were doesn't know what happened that cause him his infamy. Maybe he did something wrong. The young boy didn't have a clue. The jock's hands were curled into fists so hard around his shirt that he was starting to have difficulty breathing. "What should I do? I really don't have anything in my bag... Oh man, I should have brought that granola bar in the fridge earlier."Ron thought as he eyed the boy with fear.
"W-Why?... Why c-can't they just leave me a-alone?... W-" Ron thought to himself when he heard Jason speak.
"Where's the food Ron?" He asked.
"Oho! It's Stoppable! What a wimp! He can't even defend himself." One joked harshly at him, earning a roar of laughter from the group. Ron just looked down on the floor, fighting the tears from falling. He then felt a gruff hand holding his head up and mocked "Oh, are you crying? Boo hoo. Now, where is it?"
"I-I... I'm sorry." Ron croaked out, a drop of tear flowing on his left cheek.
"No no no... Sorry won't cut it... Hand your lunch and money to us or you'll be dead." The biggest boy of the group ordered, making the blonde to shiver in fear. He feels powerless against him, making him look weak and submissive. He wanted to give everything to them but he doesn't have anything with him. He hiccuped "I-I... I don't have anything on-"
The boy suddenly slammed him to the nearest wall. Ron cried in pain while the boy holding him said darkly. "Aw, that's too bad. You know what that means, eh?"
"P-Please... I have to go-"
"No buts! Off to the dumpster we go."

So in short, Ron's daily life hasn't been the best.
In fact, ever since he started schooling in Middleton Middle School, things were starting to get bleak for him. Gone were the days of daycare and the solitude he enjoyed while learning. He often remembers the time when he would excel in some of his subjects, which earned him a treat from his parents. He would exert great amount of effort to things he deem interesting. His cooking ability could attest that. When their homeroom teacher prepared a field trip to a cooking show, Ron knew that he could see himself working in the kitchen wearing that tall white hat that he always find amusing.
"I want to be like them"
Not long after, his parents bought him a small kitchen set the blonde begged for months. And the first baked good he made turned him into a family celebrity. They loved his cooking and would sometimes ask for more if he can make some. Ron would just smile and will follow their wishes.
But from the first step he took inside the school building, he felt fear. Due to his quirky attitude, most of the children mark him as weird. He tried to socialize with other kids, but his unique outlook and perspective made many drove away. He learned about the 'Food Chain' from others but dismissed it with his personal motto 'Never be Normal'. His disposition with fame led him to where he was now, inside a changing room, putting on his fresh clothes after his 'swim' in the dumpster behind the building. Ron sighed as he took his backpack "Man, what a day."
"But... But... It can only go up from here, right? Yeah, maybe some lunch time with KP can make this day better."And with that, he went out of the locker room and zoomed towards the room his best friend was.
To be perfectly honest, Ron never complained about his life. Why? Well, the answer is in the form of his best friend since pre-K, Kim Possible. After his 'heroic' save, the redhead girl became one of the constant in his life. At first, he thought she was another girl who was too scared to say what is right, but years of friendship proved to him wrong. She can be headstrong and determined to do what she want. And hey, though she can whip anyone's butt in this school, she can be very helpful to those who are in need. Besides her usual compliments such as smart, talented, kind, strong... pretty,Ron can't say anything else but describe her as 'the best friend one could ever wish for'.
As he waited, he saw a small flock of kids standing in front of the bulletin board, talking among themselves. Now, Ron wasn't too keen in keeping up with the social news of the school, but he did hear something important from a group of girls who were near him.
"Hey, I hear that the Middleton Fair is coming up. I can't wait for next month!"
"I know, right? They say there will be a circus coming here from Europe."
"Yeah, but the most important thing that will happen is the Ferris wheel! It will be so cool to see all of Middleton from up above."
The blonde boy stopped on his track of thought. "The Middleton Fair? Wow! It really is. Booyah! I can't wait for next month. I bet me and Kim will have a blast this year's fair. Ooh, ooh! I hope there is still that petting zoo. I really wanted to hold those fluffy bunnies... And the face painting!"Ron's eyes were glazed from the sheer fun he will have if he went to the fair with his best friend. And why not? The two were inseparable, no matter what occasion it is. They were together during Christmas, Thanksgiving, and even each other's birthdays. But for him, just spending time with her will never tire him.
And he will never get tired of daydreaming while ignoring a hand passing his sight.
"Ron? Hello, Earth to Ron." A feminine voice snap him from his reverie and saw the grinning face of Kim. Ron smiled and greeted "Hey, KP!"
"What're you thinking? Hmm... Are you thinking of some girl?" She asked mischievously as the two walked along the hallways of the school. Ron's eyes went wide like saucers and began sputtering "Wha- Uh... KP! I-I mean... Uh.. Wha?" His nonsensical noises halted when he heard the giggling sound coming from her. The blonde stared at her briefly before his cheeks heated with embarrassment. Her giggling turned into laughter when she heard him whine "Oh come on, KP. It's not fair!"
"Sorry, but you're just too easy to tease." Kim joked, which made the boy smile. Yeah, he could get used to this. One simple encounter and his day was instantly brightened thanks to her. The duo then started to walk inside the cafeteria, side by side, ready to take on whatever's ahead. Ron smiled and thought that the sun never looked so bright for him.

Two weeks later.
"What do you mean you can't come with me? Why would you be busy for a few days?" Ron asked her with despair in his voice. The 'despair' part would be more apparent if it she saw it face to face, and not from a call on the telephone.
Ron knew that she was a busy girl with all the clubs and extra-curricular activities she took. Ranging from math to debate, and now she was pondering about adding cheerleading to the list. But for him this is getting ridiculous. For two weeks he was thinking of how to spend the Fair week with her. They've done that for years and became a tradition for them, so he expected that this year will be the same. But hearing her say that she has 'other plans' for the day he treasured so much, he can't help but ask why, although he had a small hunch about it.
"Look, Ron... I know you loved your fireworks and fairs, but-" Kim wanted to explain but the loud voice of her best friend rang and cut her short.
"YES! It is our day. We've been going to fairs for years now, KP. Why can't you go with me now?" The hurt started to seep in his voice. Ron cursed himself for letting his guard down. He doesn't want her to worry about him. Kim, on the other hand, caught it and made her feel anxious about her next choice of words. She cared for her best friend deeply, but, in her own perspective, he was acting childishly. She always believe to embrace change, and the things that were in motion for her are bright. She is excelling in all of her subjects. She joggles her different extra curricular activities. She had elevated her social standing to heights she never knew possible.
In short, she grew up.
And part of the growing up process is the start wherein she would notice the opposite gender in a fashion she never expected. The boy full of wonder is no other than Walter Nelson, her partner in her Science class, and Kim's first 'crush'. The two were grouped together for an experiment. In Kim's eyes, he was set above the rest of the guys. She doesn't understand the tingling feeling of being near him or the nervousness she was experiencing whenever they talk. But the euphoria those instances caused made her feel exhilarated.
You are soo crushing on that boy.
Oh, how right they were. When she heard about the Middleton Fair happening a few weeks from now, she was excited and hoped to 'accidentally' bump him there and enjoy the amenities there. But she was beyond shocked when he asked her out if she wanted to hang out with him during the Fair, she didn't waste any second to say yes. Kim was very happy to tell her friends that she agreed on a date with what was considered as a 'hottie' in the whole campus. Well, happy until now with the one she shared her whole childhood with.
"W-What am I going to say to him? I can't believe Ron can be this childish. Can't he see that we're growing up? We can't-"
"Alright." A dejected voice broke from her train of thoughts.
"W-What?" She can't help but worry for him. She waited for his answered but he was silent. Kim was about task him again when he spoke "I understand Kim. Call me when you need something, alright? I'll be out for some errands." The line went dead before she could speak. A part of her wanted to call back and try to cheer him up, but she decided against it. She knew it was not easy, but she can't help it if this is what it takes to grow up.

Middleton Middle School
Ron was walking down the hallway looking gloomy like he was for a few days now. He hasn't got any calls from Kim and school started to get grayer. Before, he would smile even though he was just bullied by people. But now, he wasn't as responsive to them. Some of them actually took notice of his change, but they quickly deduced to the notion that he accepted his role as the school loser. The blonde boy rubbed the sore bruise on his arm and winced from the pain it elicited. He turned around and saw something peculiar.
In front of him was a large girl holding a small brown-haired girl. The little one was whimpering from the force but the big one still holds her tightly. Though his body ached from the previous beatdown he received, he still wanted to stop her. He looks to her eyes and saw the same eyes filled with fear. The same eyes the he saw when he saved Kim from the bullies. "She's scared. I need to act quick!"And with that he went near the two, ignoring the crying pain from his limbs. When he went near her, he heard their conversation.
"Give me your lunch or you'll be hurt." A big girl threatened a little brunette.
"S-Sorry, I d-don't have any." Bonnie cowardly answered.
Fit for anger, the big bully smashed her to a locker, which elicited a yelp from her. She went closer to her face and whispered "You don't have any? That's too bad. Start your prayers, Bonnie."
Bonnie saw her winding her big meaty hands, aiming at her delicate face. She closed her eyes, wishing intently that it will not hurt that much. Anticipating her fist, she pleaded in her mind:
"Oh Please! Please! Please! Don't hurt me. I promise next time I'll give them to you. Just don't hurt me. Please! Help!"
The girl swung halfway when she heard the scream "STOP!"
The two turned her heads and saw a freckle-faced boy staring at the giant girl. She let go of Bonnie and charged towards the boy. She barked "Hey you! You're not the one who'll boss me around. Get ready for some pain!"
The bully swung her right fist and connected to the boy's gut. He grimaced in pain when the big girl punched at his face. This made the boy fall down. The amount of punches he got today took a toll on him. The bully went on top of him and start battering the defenseless lad. Ron tried to defend himself by raising his arms to catch the punches aimed to his face, but he was completely overpowered by the large girl. This commotion went on for a minute when the Guidance Counselor broke the two up. The bully was sent to the office while the boy was sent to the clinic.
Bonnie's little mind, meanwhile, was trying to soak in all events that happened. She thought:
"W-What happened. I-I was about to b-be b-b-b-bullied by t-that g-g-girl... B-Bully... P-Punch... B-B-B-Boy... F-Freckles... Beaten..."
She was cut off from her thoughts when someone called me.
"Can you please sit here for a while to guard the boy, if you don't mind?" The school nurse asked.
"O-Oh. Sure." Bonnie absent-minded replied.
"Be right back" She rushed out of the clinic room.
The teal-eyed girl sat on a chair, looking with great concern in her eyes, near the boy's chair. The two sat in awkward silence. Bonnie don't know what she should say to him. She bowed her head down, crying because of the thought that he will blame her for the mess he's in. She was startled when she heard him saying:
"H-Hey, Are you okay?"
She looked at him and saw his smile. An infectious smile, perhaps? Her lips curled and said "I-I'm okay. Thanks and I'm sorry."
"It's my pleasure and... why are you sorry?"
"I'm sorry because of me, you w-were..."
"No big! That's okay."
"R-Really?"
"Yeah."
The brunette was definitely floored. She didn't expect that he'll be that forgiving to her. He almost treated it as if it was nothing, though it almost covered him in bruises. He just smiled. Bonnie's eyes were now watery and was about to cry when he asked:
"Uh... A-Are you new here? What's your name?"
She wiped her eyes and replied "My name's Bonnie. Bonnie Rockwaller."
He then tried to offer his hand, feeling a bit of pain and said "I'm Ron. Ron Stoppable."
She smiled and shook his hand. Bonnie felt a million times better than a while ago. She felt like breathing in some fresh air. Her ears perked up when he queried "I hope we could be, you know, friends."
She went near him, hugged him, and replied "Of course, you dummy! After you saved me, it will be my honor to be your friend."
His face registered his goofy grin which made her giggle. He then joyously shouted "Booyah! I have a new friend."
"A new friend, indeed. You're a keeper"Bonnie thought with glee while chatting about their lives.

"Hey Ron, are you ready?" Bonnie called downstairs.
Ron looked on his reflection and faintly smiled. It had been days since he met his new friend and although she's still no KP, he's happy that he had someone to talk to. After saving her from her bully, Bonnie and Ron started talking practically anything that they can think of. And not long after, he had made a first connection with other people. The brunette was easy to talk to, in his opinion. Although she's a bit timid, she had the same drive to be the best. And with his long years of experience dealing with people like her, he knew how he act with her.
And these past few days turned out okay for the both of them. He learned that she was a new transferee from Upperton after his father moved here. When he look on her schedule, he saw that there were many subjects the two share, which made him happier. With that, their friendship has blossomed and they were enjoying it to the fullest.
"What took you so long?" The brunette asked while sitting on the sofa. Mrs. Stoppable smiled and hugged the two "Now, you two have fun. And Ronald, remember you have to come home before 9, alright?" He nodded before dragging the girl out of the house. Bonnie shook her head with a small smile before looking back at the new companion she now has.
"It was just a few days but I can say the he's the best friend I ever had."She sighed while letting him lead the way to the fair. The brunette's life was in isolation for most of the time. His father's constant moving from one place made it hard for her to make friends. Her sisters' sneers didn't help her either. She would always feel alone until now. From the moment he barge into her life, the cold she usually feels were suddenly gone, replaced by the warmth of care. Ron knew how to cheer her up. She was a bit hesitant at first to join the cheerleading squad, but the words Ron imparted to her gave her the strength to try and succeeded in earning a spot.
"I know you can do it, Bon-bon. I'm pretty sure you are one bon-diggity dancer. The squad will be out of their mind if they didn't let you join! I mean, you're Bonnie Rockwaller!"
She had heard numerous times that. Being a Rockwaller is a prestige to others. But the way Ron said that was set apart from the rest. While the others suck up to her father, she saw the sincerity in Ron's eyes and truly felt that she was special. He made her feel that she was her own person. And with that, she treasured her friendship with him in that small time frame.
"Hey, let's try that game, Ron. It looks fun." Bonnie pointed at the Whack-a-mole stand.
"O-ho, Bon-bon, you've read my mind!" Ron grinned and went to the stand, not noticing the grin that was plastered in her face with equal intensity as he had.

Meanwhile...
"This is SO not happening..."
Her date with Walter Nelson had been very, very awkward.
If locking braces during the kiss inside the fair is not awkward, then I don't know what is.
The two were wandering around the area, trying out the different contests and entertainment that the fair can offer. They were playing different games, petted the animals, and even tried face painting. But the awkwardness still unnerve her. She knew that she wanted to kiss him and she feels that he feels the same way. There were multiple times where there was an opening to plunge her lips into his but Kim just didn't have the strength to do so. But, she was still not giving up. She remembered what she whispered to herself while Walter went to get something to eat.
"You can do this Possible! I know it's hard but you've got to do this. It's now or never."
When he returned with hotdogs and two cups of soda, the two began munching on their snacks. They were seated on the bench at the back of the tents, giving them privacy. The two were exchanging stories and were laughing when she felt a hand rest on top of hers. She stared at his eyes and said that she was beautiful. Kim's breath hitched when he placed his hands on her shoulders and began to lean in. She thought that this is the moment they will kiss. Both feeling the happiness and panic, she puckered her lips and anticipated the touch of his lips.
"Here it comes! I wonder how it will feel like? Will he like it? Will I like it?"
She felt the contact of his lips and she felt the tingling sensation. But it took sooner than expected that she began to worry. It was her first kiss and she doesn't know what to do. She only watched some programs in TV to get the gist of kissing but it is proving to be a failure to her. She closed her lips with his and found out that Walter was also having the same dilemma.
And that worry turn into a full-blown panic when the two decided to separate, before realizing they couldn't.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
"That was fun!" Bonnie wobbled when she got out of one of the rides, slightly disoriented with the spinning attraction. Ron chuckled and helped her stay steady. The sun was setting and the two found some benches to sit at. The couple had so much fun today. They went to every attraction and was filled with excitement and happiness. At that moment, the blonde boy was smiling all the time. With some cotton candy in hand, Bonnie ate like a cat, which he noted to make her look funny. She was happily humming while Ron ate his hotdog. They could see the skyline of the downtown area on one end while the mountain ranges on the other. The bay in front of them filled with ships and boats of all sizes with the glowing ball of gas at the background. It was like a painting and Ron felt at peace. He took a glance at the girl with him and smiled faintly. Thank you, Bon-bon.
When said brunette took notice of his gaze, she grinned and said in her joking voice "Captivated by my beauty, huh?" The boy just laughed and answered "Of course. You are the single most outrageous, wildest girl I know." With the exception of Kim, Ron believed that she had affected him in more ways than anyone in the whole campus can. With the countless number of bullying he endured, all of the due to his different look in life, Bonnie is the only one where he felt the deep connection. "I am happy I met you, Bonnie."
Bonnie smiled. They both knew that they share a deep connection now. Their friendship is real and they could feel it. And with that realization, the brunette was left to tears, hugging the startled boy.
"Why are you crying, Bonnie?" His soothing voice is just oozing with love and care for her, and she could feel every drop of it. She would always hear him say that he was happy to know her, but in her mind, it is the complete opposite, she was happy to meet him. He is nothing but kind to her, taking care of her during her lowest points in her life. He was always constant and was happy to whenever he tries to cheer her up. She just needed to convey that to him and now is the perfect time for that.
"It's nothing... I'm just happy that it's you. It's you that I chose to be friends with. I am very lucky to have you, Ron. You are the best friend that I ever had in my life. You were there when I am down. You held me up when I would look myself down. You pushed me to strive when I wanted to go back. Our friendship, though may be short, is the best moments of my life. If it wasn't for you, I would be bullied and be by myself. I will never get tired of saying it to you. I am happy that I met you."
Ron stared at her, eyes watering with tears. He was in extreme joy when he heard her. He grabbed her in a tight hug, not caring if he was crying right now, and whispered his response "Thank you. And I am also happy to be friends with you, Bonnie." The two hugged each other tightly for a few more moments, making some people who was just passing by coo at the sight, before breaking it.
"Let's go home, Bon." He stood up and held her hand, helping her to stand up also. "Ron, I need to go to the women's comfort room. Didn't want to walk around looking like this, right?" She grinned when she pointed her eyes red with tears, which made the blonde boy nod. He waited just in front while the brunette entered the ladies' room. Ron sighed in contentment, staring aimlessly around to entertain himself, when he heard something from behind. With his curiosity piqued, he walked around and was shocked to see a very familiar face.
"KP!"
"Well this is a lot to take in."
Ron cannot believe what he was seeing right now. Here he was standing, staring at the terrified faces of Kim and Walter Nelson, whose braces were locked together. And he can't deny that a part of him was hurt. He really wanted to go to the fair with her but now he learned that she went here with someone else. There's also that pent-up anger with that. She practically forgot him while she was with him. He wondered if he should help them. But the worry in her eyes gave away on what he should do. That no matter what happens, he is still her best friend, and it will remain that way.
So, he pursed his lips and said "KP, can I borrow your phone? I think I know who can help us."

Betrayal.
This is the only thing that Bonnie Rockwaller is thinking. Sure, she had her share of someone turning up against her or left her alone, but this one hurt her way more than she imagined. Vengeance feeds from her tears, letting her heart wallow in misery. She was having the time of her life with Ron. Bonnie never had that much fun in a long while. While she was fixing herself up, she recalled what transpired and the words they said to each other. And the mere thought made her cheeks flush. "W-What am I t-thinking?... Even though he seems nice, I just can't believe I would blurt out those things in front of him..."
But when she went out of the comfort area, the youngest of the three Rockwaller siblings gasped when she suddenly felt her body slammed on the wall. Her eyes went wide when she saw the familiar face of the bully she met a few days ago. Bonnie tried to wiggle out of her grasp but she was too strong and her hold on her was too tight to do anything. "Aww, you poor girl. I haven't got to beat you down earlier because of that loser Stoppable." The bully spat his name like it was poison. But, she grinned at her, making her shiver in fear "But now that your little boyfriend is out of the way, we can be... acquainted better, don't you think?"
"N-No!" Bonnie closed her eyes, shaking in fear, and waited for her to strike, hoping she wouldn't be as hurt as she feared when she heard a voice that distracts her.
"Leave her alone." The bully tried to reason out but she quickly cut her off "I said NOW." And with a grunt, Bonnie landed with a soft thud on the grass. When she slowly opened her eyes, she saw the towering girl with long flowing brown hair and dark green eyes. She saw her hand extended in front of her. With years of isolation from others, the girl was too cautious to take help from others. So, she stood up by herself and said "T-Thank you."
"Don't mention it. My name's Amelia. Amelia Rodriguez." The beautiful girl named Amelia greeted.
"Bonnie. Bonnie Rockwaller." She replied, shaking her still extended hand. With eyes slightly shot up with curiosity, the Latina asked "Rockwaller? Are you familiar with the Rockwaller twins that are on top of Middleton High's Food Chain? You know Connie and Lonnie Rockwaller?"
"Yes. They're my sisters." The smaller brunette replied, not liking where this talk is going.
"Oh. then I really did chose the right one for the job." She said before grabbing her shoulders, forcing her hazel brown eyes to her greens. "Look, it is, like, unwritten law that the Rockwallers are destined to be the top of the chain, and that includes you." Bonnie's eyes went wide and was about to argue when she placed her slender finger on her lips "I don't know how low you think of yourself, but you are born for great things. When your sisters graduate, you need to take over their position as the top dog of the social ladder. But you need allies, allies like moi."
"You?"
"Yes, of course!" Amelia smiled "For you to become successful, you need to surround yourself with people who wield influence to those below. There are the jocks, the cheerleaders, the beauty queens, and the student government officials. Since you are within that group, that will be easy." When she saw a bit of apprehension appearing on her features, she soothed her and tried to convince her "Don't worry, I will be your friend, your true friend. I know what happened, and I just knew that Stoppable will never stick to you."
"What are you talking about?" The Rockwaller youngest's temper was starting to rise. Although what she said is too good to be true, she was a bit skeptical about her claim about Ron, the one who just saved her from bullying. But when she lead her towards the main passageway towards the gate of the fair grounds, she saw Ron talking to a girl who was stuck to something she can't see inside their car. She can't believe what she just saw. Ron, the one who said was happy to meet her, left her to deal with someone else.
"T-Then... Then... All that he said to me... was a lie? N-No..." Unconsciously, Bonnie's hands were curled up into tight balls, her knuckles turning white. Of all the betrayals she felt, this one hit the closest. She let him in, only to see it pulverized. "NO! I will no t cry. I will show him how wrong he was in messing with me. I will hurt him like how he hurt me." Rubbing her tears roughly, she turned back to Amelia, who was silently amused by her transformation, and said "Tell me what to do, Amelia."

The crisis was averted.
Ron called his mother and managed to convince her to get her to the orthodontist. To be honest, Mrs. Stoppable was feeling a bit conflicted about the current state of the two kids. A part of her wanted his son to stay away from Kim now. Although the shame was evident on her eyes, she knows that this won't be the last time that she will be head over heels to some other guy. She worried about her son, but his determination showed otherwise. He is stubborn when it comes to her. He had invested so much time with her that he didn't want to just let it go.
And with his constant pressure, going as far to promise to do chores for a month, she relented and went to the orthodontist she was close to. Not long after, the two were finally separated. Walter Nelson gave thanks to Ron's mother, in which just smiled, and waved to Kim to say goodbye. The trip back home from the dentist was silent, especially between Kim and Ron.
For the entirety of the travel, Kim stayed silent, mostly because of her guilt. For weeks, she had ignored him, thinking that he was too childish to understand her. But when she listen how Ron convinced her mother to take them to the dentist and not calling her mother, she realized that the person who was acting childish was not him, but herself. Despite her neglect for the friendship they shared, Ron still stuck by her, giving her a helping hand in times she needed it the most. Kim's head were bowed in shame, not wanting to look at him as the realization struck her.
"I... I am such a fool. I was the one who was acting not like a grown up. I'm very sorry, Ron. I didn't know what I was feeling and Walter and all... And I thought that I was in love... But it doesn't excuse me from neglecting you and not respecting the friendship we had... I'm really sorry Ron. I-" Her wallowing and self-pity was silenced when she felt a soft tap on the shoulder and heard his faint whisper "KP."
"R-Ron?"
"Don't worry." He reassured her by giving light force on his hand on her shoulder "It's alright. I know you feel bad about Walter. Although I will never understand why you like him, but it's fine with me. My mom told me that if were going to be friends, I should be used to the idea of you and boys, even if I don't like it in my opinion." He frowned a bit, before returning to his usual smile "All I'm saying is that I won't be hogging up all your time. I guess I'll have to accept the fact that you dating boys will be inevitable... Although she added that you should also get used on me dating other girls!"
Kim giggled uncontrollably, which made the blonde to grin like a madman. Mrs. Stoppable look at the two and smiled faintly. The air that surrounds the car has been a bit heavy and unnerving to be honest, and a couple of laughs are needed to lighten the mood.
Ron smiled before saying "Just remember KP, I promise that I will stay with you no matter what happens. Even if we're mad at each other, you can always count on me." He even crossed his heart and raised his other hand as a pledge.
Kim laughed "You're such a doofus, Ron. But, I do promise that I will never neglect you for other people. You are the best friend that I can wish for and nothing can replace you."

STOP
"Ron! Hurry up." A voice rang inside the dimmed cave as Ron broke out of his glazed state. He was smiling at the nostalgia that this certain memory has surfaced. It had been a while since he accepted his role as the Ultimate Monkey Master and now is the time to go back to the world. Toshiro taught him some few skills that he need to face Monkey Fist. Although when the freckled teen asked if he can give any more pointers, pertaining to the fighting skills, he just laughed and answered that it is up to him to master that.
"Are you ready now, Stoppable-san?" The old man asked him with amusement in his voice.
[star music now (teaser starts here!)]
"I am born ready!" Ron grinned as he started walking towards the center of the dojo not far from the cave. Toshiro began with a sequence of hand and body seals as light gradually dimmed inside the dojo. Ron closed his eyes and began to meditate and call forth the power of the Mystical Monkey. When the sequence ended, Toshiro stood still for a moment before shouting "Kai!"
Light started to sprout as lines and lines of kanji appeared around Ron. the first master of Tai Shin Pek War Did another set of hand seals and slammed it into the ground, opening a barrier up above the ceiling. With the concentration Ron had, he started to levitate towards the portal. But before he darkness envelop his body, he can hear the shout from Toshiro "Go, Young Stoppable-san. You are the Chosen One who will usher a new age for Yamanouchi and the whole world. Make me and your those before you proud, Stoppable san. Save the world!"

Kim stared at the dark-haired boy who was still near the woman she hates. "What are you still doing with her?! You've got some 'splaining to do, Jonathan!"
Shego just laughed at her and retorted "You still don't know what is happening? Open your eyes, Princess!"

Ron can't believe what he was seeing right now. All the color on his face had faded. His mind went short and his breath hitched at the sight he never expected. He staggered back, almost tripping at one point, and pointed towards the one held dear for a short while "N-No... It can't be..."
Erica was roused from the knock she took and was able to readjust herself. She could still see the static on her lens and the continuous error showing in front of her. But when she came to her senses, she finally realized where she was. Erica saw Ron in front of her and was about to shout for him when she noticed his shocked expression. She looked down and gasped at the sight she saw. Her eyes darted back to Ron and quickly understood what was happening with him. She tried crawling near him but he quickly drew back. All she can do is stare at the shock-filled eyes and whisper.
"R-Ron..."
LEGENDS ARE RETOLD
Sitting on an intricate mat, The Mystical Monkey saw what was happening below the mortal realm and mused "The Young Master will face one of his greatest test in his life. Whatever he choose will make or break the world. Hmm... That is a pretty big task to be given to someone like him... But I think he can do it."
"I think so, too..." The Mystical Monkey opened his eyes and chuckled lightly at the new intruder of his house.
"So... You now want to see me?"

Tamao's eyes weidened in horror when she realized where the screeching sound comes from. "The Lotus Blade is confused to who it will follow now that we have two prime holders of the Mystical Monkey Power. If this carries on any further, the curse of the Setsuna brothers can be cast and will bring serious trouble."
AND THE PIECES ARE IN PLACE
"Let's end this once and for all, Stoppable!" Monkey Fist yelled before leaping high above the ground, wielding the Lotus Blade, and aim right towards the blonde's heart.

"THIS IS AN ORDER, AGENT!" Dr. Director roared, making said agent flinch. "I SAID STAND BACK AND FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS!"
AS THE WORLD NEARS ITS END
Clang!
Ron parried Monkey Fist's attack. The two men jumped away from each other then began to run. Monkey Fist charged the Lotus Blade with his Mystical Monkey Power, making the said sword to glow blue, and swung it against Ron. He tried to block it with the sword but it shattered when it came contact with the mystical weapon. He leaned to his back, missing the blade by an inch. He stomped at Monkey Fist's face and jumped, causing the ape man to stumble at the ground with force.

AND AS THE FIGHT DRAWS ITS FINAL BREATH
"Ron!"
"KP!"
"Stoppable!"
"Once a buffoon, always a buffoon." Shego sneered as she kicked Ron away and towards a pile of rubble.
Meanwhile, Erica is still running in fritz. But as much as confusion is taking place in her processes, only one thing was clear for her. She ignored the numerous errors appearing in her vision, suggesting to stop his train of action. She took a long steel rod from the rubble and whispered "R-Ron... I'm... I'm sorry."

With fresh new tears threatening to fall, she laughed, and smiled with her lips trembling from the sheer emotion "You're such a doofus, Ron. But, I do promise that I will never neglect you for other people. You are the best friend that I can wish for and nothing can replace you."

"I've fulfilled my promise to you, KP. Thank you." Ron whispered to her as the winds kept howling louder and louder. They were under a bridge, fearing the worst for them. But to the two best friends, it didn't matter for them. Not now, the least.

"This is nice." Sensei mused after placing a glowing Lotus Blade inside a glass box. The magical weapon is still glowing, yet Sensei paid no mind to it. The Headmaster of Yamanouchi sat on a carpet full of intricate patterns and started to meditate, calling for his inner peace. He then muttered before returning to his peaceful state:
"There is a time and space for everything."
