Where are they now?

Rowena and Daniel, with the help of Paul ended up opening their own music lounge in the Village, which welcomed any type of music, be it jazz, folk, rock n' roll, or whatever, featuring the three of them as the house band. After three years of dating, Daniel finally asked Rowena to marry him, Audrey being the maid of honor and Jack the best man, and the two of them now live in the house that Daniel and Henry used to share; the room that Henry locked Rowena in before is always locked and no one goes in there. They are a happy couple, despite Daniel getting on Rowena's nerves on occasion as he always did before. Ah, old flames never die! The couple are getting very quickly well-known in the Greenwich Village community as respected musicians. Rowena now sings folk music mostly, but never forgets her roots in jazz, or Mr. Holland.

Audrey and Jack never got together, but remained great friends over the years. Audrey got a job as the smart-ass bartender at Rowena and Daniel's music lounge and constantly keeps the place in line. She still sold her art and many of her pieces were displayed in the lounge. Jack didn't get a job at the lounge, but he was a constant customer, both for the free beer Audrey gave him and for the music. He worked on confidence-building exercises for months and months and eventually got a job as a social worker to help people out with their own issues.

Paul and Nancy always helped out with the music lounge and if a customer got fresh with Audrey at the bar, their ass is out of there!

Henry is still, as we speak now, in jail. Turns out he had other rape and battery charges in the past that never saw the light of day. Paul was right when he said he was going away for a long time. Big surprise.

Mr. Holland came to the Village to visit with his family a lot. He and Paul caught up on their friendship, and he joins him with Rowena and Daniel as the house band whenever he comes to the lounge. He knows Rowena's feelings for him are gone and he attended her wedding to Daniel. He still taught his music, of course, even when his school tried to bring down the music department. With the help of a whole lot of people, including Rowena (who couldn't personally be there), the music program was brought back, and Mr. Holland had a job again. Help really came full circle, and when he couldn't be in town, he and Rowena wrote to each other every week.
