Chapter 26

Angela POV

That kiss felt like it lasted forever. This is the moment where I felt truly happy to be alive. Odd pulled me close before we broke apart for air, followed by a trail of saliva. He smiled at me before wiping drool off my mouth and we both sat down. "Thanks." I said while snuggling up to him.

"Welcome." He replied, nuzzling his nose into my hair. "I love you."

"I love you too." I replied to him.

"Well look who it is."

I groaned as I sat up to see Sissi and her gang. I gave her a look before placing a hand to my head. "Who are you again? Oh yes now I remember; you're the bitch who thinks she's better than everyone because she thinks her father is the president."

Odd let out a laugh before kissing my cheek. "Good one, Kitty-Kat." She glared at me and I smirk. "Well? Got anything to say?" She growled at us before storming off, her posy chasing after her. My phone starts ringing from my bag and I see that it's Jeremie. "Yeah?" I asked.

Once he explained what was going on, I stood up. "Okay thanks." Odd stands up as I hang up my phone. "XANA." I told him.

"I guess he started attacking again once he saw that you were still alive." I nod before we head to the factory.

As soon as we enter the lab, we saw that Aelita, Yumi, and Ulrich were gone. "Everyone's waiting for you." He said. "Get going."

When we arrive in Lyoko, we saw everyone sitting on the ground or on a vehicle. "About time." Ulrich said from his Overbike while Yumi and Aelita jumped on the OverWing. Yumi turned to us. "Is it just me or did your outfit change a little?"

I look down to see what I was wearing. Instead of my usual outfit, it changed to something more simpler. I now wore a long-sleeved white dress shirt with a black tie, a black mini skirt with a matching pair of black thigh high socks and boots. I also wore a black cloak that wrapped around my shoulders and a matching witch hat. Of course, I still had my ears and tail.

I gawk at my appearance. "Jeremie you're the best." I said while giggling and twirling around.

"Well I saw that little witch Chara of yours and then I got the idea." He replied proudly. "And that's not all." I saw a broomstick materialize in front of me and I gawked. "I take that last comment back. You're the greatest."

"What's so great about a broomstick?" Ulrich asked before I jumped on it and flew around the entire platform. Everyone stared at me as I twirled around and giggled before hovering a foot above the air. "Do I still have my bow and arrow?"

"Actually." I smirk at his response. He's changed everything about me, and I like it. A wand appears in my hand and a few seconds later, it turns into a scythe. Everyone gawked and I swung it around. "Sweet." I look around. "Where are Derek and Danielle?"

"They didn't come." Ulrich replied, and I pouted. "Damn it. I wanted to see what they looked like."

"Alright." Jeremie replied. A minute later, the siblings fell to the ground with a thud. Derek stood up and looked around. "So this is Lyoko."

Danielle's outfit was fairy-like. She wore a strapless white top with a gray leaf design along with matching detached sleeves, a white fairy-like skirt and matching thigh-high socks, and brown boots. On her back were a pair of white see-through fairy wings. And she also had her cat ears and tail since she's a Neko.

She gawked at her appearance and glanced at her wings, flapping them a bit. "This is so cool." She squealed with excitement. I looked over at Derek to see what he was wearing. He wore a buttoned up black vest over a white buttoned up dress shirt, black jeans, black converse shoes, and black fingerless gloves. Along with his cat ears and tail, he also wore a gray beanie and a gray hooded cloak.

He looked down and saw a sheathed knife hooked on the back part of his belt. He pulled out the knife and saw a XANA-like design carved into the blade. "Hmm. I like it."

"Good. Now where's that tower?" I asked with a bit of excitement in my voice. Odd gave me a playful look and I grin in return. Soon, we were on our way Northwest to find the tower. "Is William still giving you trouble?"

Everyone groaned, and I think that means yes. That also tells me that they haven't brought him back and that clone of his is still running around like an idiot. I'm really surprised that Delmas and Jim haven't found out that that's not really William. Jeremy really is a genius.

"Guys watch out. A couple of tarantulas are heading your way along with some Krabs." We stop where we were as a Krab fires at us. "Guess XANA stopped sulking after seeing that you weren't dead." Ulrich commented as he pulled out both of his sabers.

The fight against XANA's monsters started: Yumi and Ulrich were taking on the Tarantulas, Derek and Danielle were dodging some lasers from the Krabs and taking cover, Aelita was heading for the tower, but was stopped by a few blocks, and Angela and Odd were fighting a new monster that XANA had created: a black wolf-like creature with the XANA symbol on it's head, and its body was covered in streaks of red. "Come come, wolfie," I taunted while swinging her scythe. "Let's play."

"Are you alright?" Odd asked with concern and raised an eyebrow at the demonic look I was giving off. The wolf charged towards me and we both dodged, jumping behind it. "Stupid thing."I sneered before my scythe turned into a m16a1 assault rifle, and Odd gawked in amazement. I shot the wolf a few times and it exploded. "That was easy." I said to him, and he nodded. "Go help the others."

"But what about-" I cut him of with a peck on the lips. "Don't worry. While everyone's busy with the monsters, I can deactivate the tower. I can still do that."

"Oh. Right." He scratched the back of his head and blushed. I smiled at him before he ran off to help the others while I headed to the tower. I see a tarantula get slammed against the tower, exploding on impact, and looked behind me to see Derek smirk. I reach the tower, but then stop and step back when I see something materialize in front of it. My eyes widened as I laid my gaze at none other than the scyphozoa itself. "No." Fear shook in my voice as it inched closer to me, and I ran the opposite way.

I jump on my broomstick and fly as fast as I can, flying passed the others and ignoring the monsters trying to shoot me down. A Krab devirtualizes my broom and I hit the ground with a thud. "Angela you just lost half of your life points just now," Jeremie informed. "What happened?"

"It's the scyphozoa." I keep running until I reach a dead end. "Shit." I scream as the scyphozoa grabs me, knocking me off of the platform, but I grab the edge just in time. "Some one. . . . help." My fingers start to slip as the scyphozoa starts to pull me down.

As soon as my hands lets go, a paw grabs my wrist. I look up and see Odd hanging over the edge while grabbing my hand. The scyphozoa pulls me down, wrapping a tentacle around my arm so I would be left dangling. My scythe slips out of my hand and falls into the Digital Sea, leaving me defenseless. I feel both of us slip downwards, and he starts to pull me up. "Don't let go." He tells me.

"I won't." When I say that, two more scyphozoa jump from the Digital Sea and latch onto the one that was holding onto me. I feel myself being pulled down harder, and my hand almost slips from his. I stare down at the three scyphozoa and the Digital Sea, and I suddenly get an idea. I look back to Odd. "Let go."

As soon as I say that, his eyes grow to the size of dinner plates. The look in his eyes told me he thought I was insane. "What!?"

"I have an idea." I replied to him, slowly letting go of his hand, but he gripped mine tighter. "Ange, I won't let go."

"If you don't let go, we both die!" I raised my voice at him, then I shut up. He doesn't mind the two of us dying. If I die, then I know he'll kill himself, and I'll probably do the same for him. I want him to trust me on this, but that look in his eyes told me that he wasn't sure about this, and I might do something stupid. "Odd, trust me. Let go."

He looked away, and I feel his grip loosening before the distance between us grows farther, his distraught face staring down at my smiling one, my eyes full of trust and easiness. I smirk at the scyphozoa as the three of them surround me.

"Contego!"

A sphere surrounds me and knocks the scyphozoa away, all three exploding at once. I look up and float to the platform, landing on the ground as the sphere disappears into thin air. Odd stares at me in disbelief before wrapping his arms around me, pulling me close into a tight hug. "You're insane, doing something like that," He told me while tightening his grip. "But you, my dear are a genius."

I smile at him before kissing his cheek before we both see Aelita deactivate the tower. "Well that takes care of that." I said to him. "Are you ready for a Return To The Past?"

He smiles at me, grabbing my hand before pulling me in for a deep, long kiss, and everything changed to white around us.

We travel back in time to when I walk out of Delmas's office. I open the door with a bright smile on my face to see everyone waiting for me. I leave my siblings to talk to Delmas and the gang and I head out. "I'm surprised I can do more than I expected." I told Jeremie, and he grinned in return. "Well you can think of anything with that little witch Chara of yours."

"Why thank you." Marci replied while curtsying to him with a smile.

"Hey why doesn't Angel-chan have any of my powers!?" Ringo shouted in disappointment and Aura nodded in agreement. Jeremie placed a hand on his chin, thinking it over. "I'll have to make adjustments, and that'll take a while."

"Guys stop asking him to so much." I scolded my Charas before giving an apologizing look to Jeremie. "Sorry about this."

"That's alright, Ange." He replied. "Now, tell me about your buddies from Japan."

As I told everyone about the Guardians, I looked around to see if anything changed when I was gone. Turns out it did. Instead of their being one dorm building, there were two. I kinda thought that Delmas wanted to separate the students not by floors, but by actual buildings so they wouldn't sneak off to see each other. Although, I don't think anyone's gonna follow that rule. Especially me. Am I the only one who expects me to sneak into the boy's dorm every night!?

I showed the gang pictures of the Guardians and their Charas, and a few of them said that Yaya was cute, and Yumi told them a bit about Utau, and we even watched a few of her music videos. Ringo and I sang along until we kinda gave up and laughed. I'm glad that I'm back home with everyone. I truly hope that I don't move again, but I don't think that'll happen since the FBI isn't after me. I'm grateful to my brother for bringing me back.

I guess it's because he believes that I belong here.

Me: And that's the end of Shugo Chara Welcomes New Charas. I will be posting new chapters, but they won't be relevant to the story. Let's just say that they're OVA chapters. Trust me, I have a lot of them. Then again, I also want to create a separate story for these chapters. What do you guys think?
