APOV

All of the sudden I felt pain that I couldn't describe run all through my body. It was almost like an electric current was burning every inch of my skin. I knew when I was transformed I would feel this pain but this was unimaginable. It was almost as if all of the pain was coming at once.

At that one moment it was like I was living in hell. I didn't even have time to scream from the pain, it just came and it was over. I could also hear that my heart had stopped. I was also hearing everything else that was going on around me too. I could especially hear the fight going on between Aro and my family over my daughter.

Edward was threatening to kill Aro if he came anywhere near her and so was Derik. It pained me to hear the fear laced in my loves voice. It was almost as if he knew that death was all too near for him. I could hear them begin to fight. As soon as I heard it I willed my body to rise. I knew that I could do it if I concentrated enough. I wouldn't let Derik die for this, not now not ever.

"Stay the hell away from my family Aro," I yelled without fear. "If you want to deal with anyone why don't you deal with me?" At that moment I wasn't even close to being afraid. I could feel the strength that my body now, I could tell that it was above average. I could also tell that I was lethal.

"Amy, well look at you," Aro said appraising my new body. "You certainly are the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. It's really too bad that you don't feel what I feel right now. I think we would make an amazing couple."



"Lust is not love asshole," I sneered. "Now are you going to deal with me or what? I'll fight you myself before I let you go within a foot of my family any day."

"No Amy," I heard Derik beg. "Please don't do this. Let me deal with him."

"Derik no," I retuned running vampire speed to his side. "I can do this on my own. I love you." After I told him I loved him my perspectives quickly returned to my mind. "So are we going to do this or what Aro?"

"Amy we don't have to do this," Aro said still eyeing me. I didn't know why but I could feel what he was feeling. I could tell that he was very frightened but at the same time he felt lustful.

"She's bluffing," I heard him say though he didn't speak. "I can easily persuade her that the only way of saving her family is being with me. Oh look at that body, it's perfect. Besides if she doesn't go for this then she'll definitely rip me to shreds." It was then that I suddenly realized why he wasn't talking, I was reading his mind. It was almost as if I had every power available at my fingertips.

"Amy," Edward whispered low but I could still hear him.

"Edward," I know I whispered equally as low. Then I thought the words "trust me," and he seemed to hear me. He nodded his head once with amazement still laced in his eyes.

"You can hear me can't you," Edward thought. I nodded once before hearing the thoughts of the rest of the Cullen's.

"How is this possible," Carlisle thought. "It certainly can't be physically, or so I thought. I'll have to do some test on Amy if we make it out of this alive."

"Wow go Ames," Emmett thought. "I can't wait until she lets me get at this joker. I hope she comes to her senses soon. Wait why is she looking at me like that?"



"Amy is going to win," Alice thought. "If she sticks to her plan she's going to win. She will defeat Aro, but how can that even be possible. There's no way she can have that much power."

"That's it Aro," I said turning my attention back to him. "Were going to do this and were doing it now. Let's go."

"I could never fight a woman," he lied. "I mean at least not a ravishing beauty like yourself."

"Why not," I retorted. "You have obviously done it before scumbag." With that I raced vampire speed towards him and punched him with a hard blow that broke of his arm, shoulder, and hand. "So still afraid to fight a girl Aro?"

"Amy don't do this," Aro begged. "I have to get back to the Voultri. I have to lead them. Without me they will surely die." "Maybe if I beg she will spare my life," he thought frantically.

"No, Aro," I growled. "I will not spare your life. You have killed thousands and thousands of innocent people for your own personal entertainment and now your days of tyranny are over. You will never hurt anyone I love again, I can promise you that." I punched him three more times destroying every last inch of his stone body. He tried to fight me but I held him off with one hand while blasting him with the other.

When it was over Edward and Emmett ran over to burn what was left of him while Derik ran to me and picked me up in his arms. I was still in shock at what I had just done. I single handedly brought down the most evil dictator the Voultri had ever had. I was also filled with every possible gift a vampire could have.

"That was incredible Amy," Derik said before pulling me into his body and kissing me deeply. "I tried to fight him right beside you but the Cullen's just held me back. Alice and Edward knew that you would be okay but I had no idea."



"Ames that was amazing," Edward said taking me from Derik and hugging me. "I can't believe you can read my mind though you little sneak. I'll have to be careful around you."

"Can you still not read my mind," I asked.

"No, I can't," he admitted. "How is that possible Carlisle?"

"Actually I have no idea," Carlisle admitted. "Amy your transformation was the most remarkable thing I ever saw. My only guess is that you were so strong as a human physically and mentally that that's what transferred over."

"I have everyone's gift and ability," I stated. "I can read minds, and feel emotions. I can even see premonitions."

"And you have super strength like me too," Emmett said gleefully. "I better watch out for you sport."

"I'm just so glad that you're all okay," I said with relief. "I couldn't imagine a life without you, and I'm so glad I don't have too. I love you guys so much!"

"We love you too Amy," Bella said hugging me "I'm so proud of you."

"Thank you Bella," I said gratefully. "That really means the world to me."

"And what an incredible remodel, our Izzy has," Esme said appearing from around the corner holding my daughter. "She's a lucky little girl." I walked over to Esme and picked up my baby from her arms.



She was sleeping so soundly it was unbelievable. She looked just like an angel. And that's exactly what she was; my own personal angel from God. I had never felt so lucky or blessed in my entire life. There I was with my entire safe and happy.

"Wait," Rosalie said snatching my baby from my arms. "She can't be anywhere near Izzy. She's a new born vampire! She'll kill her!"

"She's right Amy," Carlisle said hastily. "Didn't you feel the need to feed while holding her?"

"Of course not," I snapped. "Why would I want to kill my daughter?"

"Amy it's not a personal attack," Carlisle said trying to calm me down. "But we have to be sure. Do you feel anything while you're near her?"

"No," I admitted truthfully. "I feel no desire at all. I mean I can smell the difference between you two but I don't want to attack my child."

"Amazing," Carlisle said again. "Your strength of mind must also give you the strength to resist. You have no cravings for blood at all?" But before he could even finish his sentence I got a whiff of something very appetizing. I couldn't help myself I pounced on the unknown object and fed. It was the most satisfying delicious thing I had ever tasted. When I stepped away from the carcass of the dead polar bear I was ashamed.

"Does that count," I asked now completely embarrassed.

"Interesting," Carlisle said. "But yet you feel no desire for humans at all."

"No," I repeated. "I can smell them twenty miles away but I have no desire to go after them. I know that it's forbidden Carlisle."



"Okay Carlisle," Derik said stepping in. "Enough of the interrogation. Why don't we give my fiancée a break?" I loved the sound of that word. I loved that I would be able to spend the rest of my existence with that man. He was all I ever wanted needed. But while basking in the glory of our love I had a vision. I could tell Alice was having one as well.

I could see in her head that we were both seeing the same thing. I could also feel the terror that was pouring off of her body. The rest of the Voultri were on their way.
