Annabeth POV

I awoke early today but after a while of just lying in my bed and trying to fall asleep again I got bored and decided to get up.

Grudgingly I climbed out of my bed. I went into the bathroom and made myself ready for the day.

After about 20 minutes I was ready and I thought about what I could do. All of a sudden an awesome idea crept into my mind. If I could not sleep it would just be fair if Percy couldn't do so as well , so I decided to wake him up.

I ran to his Cabin and knocked violently on the door. Again and again. But nobody answered my call. After a while I got quite angry.

'How the hell is the idiot able to be in such a deep slumber?' I asked myself.

After about half an hour I snapped. I kicked the door with my foot so hard that it opened. I have to warn you, though. Don't try this at home. It hurts like hell and you most likely need to pay for a new door. But back to the topic at hand.

Silently I walked through Percy's cabin until I found his bedroom. The door was closed but there was also no sound like snoring or something else.

Just to be sure I knocked on the door to his bedroom. Again there was no answer. Eagerly I opened the door and what I found was... well... It was nothing. I found nothing. Percy wasn't there. I started to get worried. Did something happened to him?

Carefully I walked closer to his bed and put my hand on his pillow. It was cold. That meant he must have been away for at least an hour now or there would have been at least a little bit of warmth left. I had to tell Chiron about this.

Linebreak — At Chiron's office (still Annabeth POV)

"Annabeth, I already told you. I don't know where Percy is. He said nothing to be." Chiron sighed.

"But you must know something!" I shouted. I really was worried.

"No, I don't know of anything. But we could sent out a search party to search for him here at Camp." Chiron suggested and I was o.k. with the idea. It least we were doing something then instead of just waiting.

"Ok. I will go. I will take the campers with me who are already awake. That will be enough then, I guess and hope." I said and ran away.

The last thing I saw was Chiron who was shaking his head and had a small smile on his face. Stupid horse!

The only campers awake were those from the Apollo Cabin. It made sense if you ask me. After all their father was the god of the sun and he always had to get up early to drive his sun chariot.

So I convinced them to come along with me and help me to find Percy. It wasn't so hard to convince them cause all of them got along with Percy really well and they were almost as worried as me.

Suddenly, after good two hours of searching, a Apollo Camper, Will was his name I guess, shouted something. At first I couldn't really understand what he had said, cause' he was laughing hysterically at the end of his sentence. But I ran in his direction anyways.

When I reached him almost everybody was there already. They had formed a circle around something which I couldn't really make out because their bodies were blocking my view. All I could see was that they were taking pictures of the thing in the center of the circle. I stepped closer towards them and what I saw shocked me so hard that my mouth fell open and Will said something like: "Close your mouth or you'll catch flies."

There sat Percy in the grass and he was asleep – you might be asking yourself what is so shocking about this, right? Well to be honest it wasn't Percy of whom I was stunned so much. What really shocked me was the girl in his arms. It was no other than Zoe Nightshade. And they were snuggled close together.

Just in that moment Percy opened his eyes but he didn't notice our group because he was too busy with looking at Zoe. I couldn't help but smirk at that.

But then my smirk grew to a smile. And with a smile I mean a really big one.

You want to know why? Well, then here you go:

Percy kissed Zoe on the lips while she was still sleeping. You could see that he was in love with her and she with him cause when he kissed her she had a smile on her face that could have rivaled Apollo's. And that is something hard to surpass because Apollo's smile was literally as bright and as warm as the sun.

And that is why I was smiling like a mad man. Percy found his first love and I think he will not let go of her ever! It was just so cute! But just to tease him a bit I coughed and caused him to turn around.

When he looked into my eyes I got exactly what he was thinking: "Oh shit!"

I grinned and stated: "So Percy, care to explain what happened this night?"
