Too many emotions. How are we going to survive this year? Watching divergent knowing what happens in allegiant, tfios * SPOILER* watching augustus die!, the one!, mockingjay part 1 watching peeta get hijackeddddd,
Like I don't know if I can make it past april! Because did you hear? Divergent comes out april 10 where i live and i'm so freaking annoyed by it. grrrrrrr
Tigers on a Gold Leash-of what I would do if Kiera Cass made Maxon choose Kriss and America and Aspen got together...well it won't be pretty. and that's not gonna happen becuz...well no. Absolutely not. It will make me as mad as I am about the divergent release date for my country.
Who cares- Fave color is blue:) And since I won't tell u which state i live in, I'll explain something. I don't live in the USA, but I used to for a long time. Now I'm in a different country with different spelling, but I still spell americanly (if thats a word)
Maxon and I turn to look at the unknown visitor.
"Oh, there you are Maxon!" Celeste exclaims.
"Lady Celeste," Maxon smiles. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, nothing Maxon. I was just looking for you because you left this," Celeste sneers as she holds up Maxon's suit jacket with her perfectly polished nails.
"Oh," Maxon grabs the jacket. "My apologies Celeste."
"No problem, Maxon. Oh, by the way, I was wondering if we could have dinner tomo-"
"Forgive me Celeste, but I am occupied at the moment." Maxon says fiercely.
Celeste stops with bewilderment, curtsies and leaves my room.
Maxon sighs and turns back to me and notices the tears in my eyes.
"Oh, America," he extends his arms and all I can do is fall into them. Maxon wraps his arms around me and places a hand on my head. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I haven't chosen anyone. And if I had," Maxon makes me look at him. "you would know."
Soon, he leaves me to nap and sleep off my stress.
When I wake up it's time for dinner. I make my way down and luckily my seat isn't taken. I always find it strange that no one takes my seat next to Maxon.
"Feeling better?" Maxon whispers and I nod in confirmation.
Dinner goes on without any particular interesting information before Queen Amberly stands.
She tells us how the Christmas Ball is in two weeks.
Maxon will eliminate someone in two weeks.
Our next assignment is in two weeks.
As I make my way up to my room I run into Celeste.
"Hello, America," she sneers.
"How did you know he was in my room?" I ask.
"Apart from the fact that he's always in your room?"
I shrug.
"As soon as he left I wanted to make a date for tomorrow before you or Kriss got in my way, so I went to find him. Then I saw him waiting by your door. Probably to yell at you or something, but I tried to make it interesting. Wanted to see what you two were up to."
"You had no right to-"
"Or do I?" she cuts me off.
"What do you-"
"I have every right you stupid five," she spits at me. "Maxon is going to choose me anyway, so I should have the right to know what my future fiancée will be doing with other girls,"
I shake my head in disgust. "You're so… full of it!" I exclaim. "How could you know who Maxon chooses? He could choose any one of us. You don't know what he's thinking."
"At least I didn't attempt to ruin the country," she states.
I want to scream. I want to hit her. But I have found words work better with Celeste.
"It was the least I could do to try and rid this poor country of people like you," I say matter-of-factly.
I leave Celeste with her jaw dropped. She wasn't expecting me to reply. She wouldn't think I would have a comeback.
Days turn into weeks and it is now the eve of the Christmas Ball. As usual, my maids don't let me see my gown until I'm wearing it.
Queen Amberly has us all pitching in to help prepare and set up for the grand affair. She has asked for my opinion in music twice as well as flower arrangements and… well, food.
I try and assist her in every way I can, offering to carry something, pin something and most often I give my opinions that, I think, she appreciates.
It's after brunch and the Elite are helping her Majesty finish off the final touches.
"The band will go over there," Queen Amberly points to the back of the room where a huge, glamorous stage has been set up. She then weasels her way between the many, round tables that are covered in white tablecloths that have tiny blue, sparkly snowflakes and have assortments of winter bouquets sitting on top. "They are bringing in the tree at three, but you girls don't have to be here. It is traditional that the Royal family decorate it together."
"Aw, that's sweet," Kriss sighs. The Queen beams proudly.
"Now," Queen Amberly goes on. "I just need you girls to set these nametags on the tables I tell you." Her majesty rummages through the piles in the folder she has placed on one table. "Please make sure you place them in the order they are found." She hands a pile to Celeste.
"Please place these around table 15,"
Then she walks to Kriss. "Table 11,"
Then to Elise. "Table 14,"
Then she walks over to me. "Please place these around table 1." I nod and walk over to the start of the room.
Once I get to the table I start to notice the names I hold. These are the Royal Family's names as well as other important people.
King Clarkson, Queen Amberly, Prince Maxon.
Prince Maxon.
I smile giddily to myself, wondering why her majesty gave me this particular table.
Once I finish, I go back to put nametags on more tables until we finally finish.
"Thank you girls for all your help. It has been greatly appreciated." The Queen says to us. "The only thing left now is to wait. I will see you all tomorrow at the ball, where we will greet our many guests."
She was right. The only thing left to do now is wait.
Wait to see who will be eliminated. It's funny, I almost forgot about that until now. Everyone else seems fine though, but they don't know there will be an elimination.
Then it hits me. Will Maxon be eliminating someone during the ball…in front of everyone?
Would he do something like that?
Idk would he? Lemme know what u guys think;)
