Wow. Ok, I have some more reviews to respond to! (Yaaayy!) How awesome! ^.^ First I'd like to give a round of applause to a person on here, called just-AWESOME-old-me, although they were too lazy to sign in (lol)*claps loudly*

(Note: This response that is for just-AWESOME-old-me is also for kareem too.)

When I read his (or her?) review I was all like: THANK YOU! Yeah it sounds weird I know, but you have some really good points that you made in your little rant. So I'm going to respond to you first because your rant caught my attention:

just-AWESOME-old-me:

So first of all, you are semi-right about Link not"being brave. Yes sure he did lose hope, but who wouldn't when their heart is broken? The reason why I made him seem so "weak" in Chapter 4 and 5 was because he just had his heart broken! Who wouldn't feel bad for that? He didn't cry in*every* chapter, and yes I did put an emphasis on every, simply because he only cried in 2 chapters out of those 8.

You make a good point when you said that Zelda wouldn't just cry out for help. I was imagining some monsters to be lurking nearby and though she probably made enough noise to attract them, she could probably take them down herself. Thank you for pointing that out, I will work on that in the future.

Yes, normally she would believe her savior, the savior of Hyrule that is. However, Zelda was stuck in a dilemma at this point. How could she choose between believing Dominique who is a potential love interest for her, and Link who saved her kingdom? Though Link was telling the truth, there was fake "evidence" against him. Dominique was taunting Link in front of Zelda's eyes, making him seem less truthworthy. That's why she made the decision that she did.

Lol, no Nintendo would not make Link seem heartbroken or Zelda weak, you make a good point there as well.

I will say this though, you've only read up to chapter 9 (or so I'm assuming because that's where you made your review) so you haven't gotten the full outtake on the story. In the beginning, Link only cries because his heart was broke, and that's a normal thing to do. I don't even recall him crying or acting like a wimp anywhere else in the story. You should give a story a chance before you decide to rant, and read a little further. If you rant too early, it can create problems

Now this next point that you made, I had a feeling that someone would one day. Let me clear that up, I KNOW THAT HE ISN'T THE HERO OF TIME IN TWILIGHT PRINCESS AND THAT THE HERO OF TIME WAS FROM THE OCARINA OF TIME! Sorry, I just felt that caps had to be used to say that. The reason why I even put that phrase in there was because this story isn't entirely just from Twilight Princess. I mean, that's the main world, but it's perfectly fine to use other elements from other games as well. So if I want to call him the Hero of Time, I will. I used a line in one of my chapters from the original first Legend of Zelda. Also, I'm planning to include a bit of stuff from Wind Waker, Spirit Tracks, and Majora's Mask. So PLEASE just understand that I am aware of the fact that he isn't the Hero of Time in Twilight Princess.

Are you that same person that kept reviewing my story saying that it stunk and such? I mean, you signed the end as "me", which is the nickname that the Guest who kept annoying me used. If you are, I appreciate you finally giving me some criticism and not just saying that my story "sucked" or that it was "terrible".

If you aren't, just ignore what I said there XD.

I highly doubt you are though, since you did say that you had only just started to read my story. You did however say " I know it's your story, and that if I don't like it, I don't have to read it." This seems too weird to be a coincidence but in response to a guest called "me", I said "If you don't like my story, why do you keep reading it? It's my story and I can do what I'd like with it. Stop trying to bully me." This was in Chapter 20, which is far from the 9 chapters that you said that you read. I don't know if you just said that entirely on your own or not.

Lastly, thank you for your constructive criticism. Your suggestions will help me to become a better writer, and that's exactly what I'm looking for. I know you aren't trying to be mean or anything, I really do appreciate you taking the time to write that rant. I will take your suggestions, and hopefully it'll make me become a better writer. I'm also young, at an age where my writing skills won't be the best. It's with reviews like yours that I can become a better writer from. So thank you. Thank you for reviewing! Oh, and thanks for the emoticon :P

Alright now onto the next review:

ultimateCCC:

He already has the master sword, he can turn into a wolf it's just not right now. His wolf skills will come in handy later, when he needs them most. Yes, I have and I am SUPER excited for it to be released! Yay! I can't wait to play it! Also, the new game for the Wii U that's coming out in 2015, I also can't wait for that one! ^.^ Thanks for your review!

OrangeStreakedStar:

XD I know right? Well, Fado's only job is to take care of his goats... not really much to it. Poor guy, he doesn't really have a life. Thanks! I hope you enjoy all 24 chapters more! Thanks for reviewing!

Caleb DeathFlame (Guest):

Lol thanks, I've also watched the Zelda cartoon, all 13 episodes and it's pretty sad that they cut it off :/ but the episodes they DID produce were AMAZING! Hahaha yeah, Ganondorf may be converted but that doesn't mean he can't have a little fun. It gives him something to do while Link and Zelda find out the mysteries of the prophecy and such. Well, if I feel like writing a sequel after I complete the story then I probably will. It'll all depend on where the story is going to go. Also, this is a completely random question but do you by any chance play Wizard101? It's just, your name is how they present names on Wizard101. If you don't, just ignore that question. Oh and thanks for saying "best zelda one i read" that really means a lot to me :D.

Just ONE more thing before we actually get started here, I have a fun fact about this fanfiction! Now from the titles of the chapters that I'm planning, only 4 out of the 56 chapters should be named with one word. The rest will have two or more. These chapters are: Chapter 18, Chapter 32, Chapter 43, and Chapter 56. I can't say the titles, that would be revealing too much!

Also, you're probably wondering why the heck I added so many new characters in the last chapter, including Katrina, Bartholomew, Xavier, Luke, Indy, Princess Julianna, and Jeremy. I promise you, these characters will appear again. They are extremely important to the plot that follows. Also, whatever happened to Mr. Simon the mutant caterpillar? He'll also be back. This is to reassure a friend of mine who found the relationship between Katrina and Bartholomew to be rather interesting, and they asked me about the whereabouts of Mr. Simon. He will come again. However, Kyle won't appear for a while. He was a minor character in the beginning, and he will definitely remain a minor character. He will make an appearance in later chapters though.

Also also, I changed the summary of the story, in case you haven't noticed. I like this summary a lot better than the original one, so I'm going to keep it unless I come up with an even greater summary.

Also also also, to avoid any confusion about how you pronounce Dominique, it's actually pronounced as the masculine spelling: Dominic. Dominique is unisexual, so it can either be a boy or girl name, but I thought pronouncing it as Dominic would make it sound more manly. I spelled it with a que instead, but don't ask why. The story of how I actually came up with the name Dominique is a funny one, I might tell that in the intro of my last chapter, which I'm planning to publish on January 6, 2015, the one year anniversary of the story.

Trust me though, Link and Zelda have a long way to go before they discover the last two pieces of the prophecy. So many more adventures will happen, but they will be in more scary situations than they have ever been in before. I can't wait for fall break – that will be the time when I really write all of the chapters that I want to. Fall break for me is only three weeks away, but I still want it to happen right now!

Alrightly, now onto the next chapter, Chapter 26: The Ultimate Decision! (It's about time I finally get to this point!) In this chapter, things will happen! Lol, that's all I have to say for now, Buckwheat!

Link's POV

Link opened his eyes to find himself in a place other than his home. It took a while for his eyes to adjust to the dim light protruding from a single candle that stood next to his bed on a little wooden dresser. Surely, how could one fall asleep in one's bed and wake up in another?

He immediately checked to see if he still had his sword nearby. A true swordsman never goes unarmed, especially in a mysterious situation like this one. Spotting it laying neatly across another table at the end of the bed, he picked it up and gripped it tightly. At least he still had some way of defending himself in case something menacing were to attack him the second he opened the bedroom door.

He slowly creaked open the door to scan his perimeters. The house was filled with dead silence. Not a single voice or noise to be heard. While some people would find this to be rather unnerving, it only made Link more curious. He had to know if anyone was around. He opened the door wider, still holding his grip onto his sword. Exiting the room, he cautiously made his way down the staircase. The floorboards creaked with every step he took, but Link paid no attention to that. He was too concentrated at staring at the figure that stood before him.

The figure was someone he barely recognized, but yet someone he also remembered. A sweet voice, a warm touch, a streak of blonde. This was his mother, the same mother that passed away due to the hardships of child birth. He had only known her for less than 2 hours, but he still somehow remembered the sweet song she sang to him before she died. Now as he looked upon her face for the first time, Link saw just how truly beautiful she was. She had blonde hair like his that fell just below her shoulders. Her sparkling blue eyes stared into the distance, at whatever was visible from the front door. She was smiling so brightly that it even put the sun to shame. Link was astonished at seeing her clearly for the first time in his life. She appeared to be pregnant with Link himself, as she gently rubbed her protruding belly.

A man entered the home and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. He smiled and gently patted her stomach as well. "How's our little baby doing?" his husky voice rang through the hall.

Link's eyes widened as he looked at the man. Surely this couldn't be his father! He was told that his father died in a swordfighting accident before he was even born! Something strange was going on here, but Link knew that he'd figure it out sooner or later.

"He's due any day now." Link's mother responded. "I meant to discuss this matter with you yesterday, but what should the baby's name be? We must come up with two names, just in case it happens to be the opposite gender."

"I believe you should have the honor of naming him or her, my sweet darling. After all, you are the one who will give him life. I will be pleased with whatever name you wish to give." her husband cooed, stroking her arm and gently hugging her.

Her eyes suddenly widened, signaling that a new life was just about to begin. She made a weird noise between a scream and a cry and clutched onto her stomach. Link's father noticed what was going on, and so he quickly helped her to her bedchambers which was close by. He laid her down on the bed and then ran to the next room to fetch the midwife which came instantly running at once. Link also entered the room as well, wondering if anyone could see him. Was this a flashback? A memory? A dream?

As Link came into the world, the midwife smiled as she checked for the gender. It took lots of pushing and crying in agony on his mother's part, but she managed to pull thorough with lots of strength. She seemed very exhausted, but Link's mother insisted on holding her baby for the first time. The midwife happily told Link's mother that it was a boy as she wrapped him up in a blue blanket. Link's mother gently took him from the midwife and rocked him back and forth.

"Oh, my precious baby!" she exclaimed. "He looks just like his father! Just look at those beautiful blue eyes!"

"May I hold him for a while, dear?" her husband asked. "In just a moment, darling. I want to sing the song that I've been preparing for months to him. First thing first though, I'd like to name him Link after all of the legendary heroes. I hope one day he will become a great hero like the legendary heroes that lived before his time!

"That's a wonderful name, and it suits him quite well! Let's hear the song that you've prepared!" Link's father exclaimed joyfully.

Link's mother blushed a bit and looked down at the baby. Link was smiling in her arms, looking straight up at her with the cutest eyes that she had ever seen. With his lovely face in her mind, Link's mother began her song:

It's been a long journey, from beginning to end

But one thing that I will always comprehend...

Is that you are my baby, my bundle of joy

My sweet little baby, my sweet little boy

And with the name you have been given, my sweet little Link

Just imagine your journey, it's so much to think

I have faith that you will become the greatest swordsman

And prevent evil dwellers with your trusty sword in hand

You will get to experience the joys of horseback riding

Oh, just imagine all of the wonderful things

So I give you my blessing go forth and be strong, don't cry

Either I'll cheer you from here or from the sky

Just know that I'm with you, every single day

And if I happen to pass, don't be filled with dismay

For I will always be with you no matter the case

My sweet little baby with the sweet little face

I will always love you from here and above

For I am your mother, filled with lots of love!

"W-wow darling that w-was beautiful!" Link's father sniffed as he wiped a tear from his eye. "Where in the world did you come up with that?"

However, Link's mother didn't respond As she finished the last line, sleep overpowered her and she gently closed her eyes. Link was still in her arms, sound asleep from the peaceful song she had just sung.

Link's father chuckled and tucked her gently in the bed. He turned off the lamp and left the room, brushing right past adult Link.

Link took one last glimpse of his mother as he turned around to go outside. It was a beautiful day, and Link wanted to see what the outside world was like.

As he stepped outside, he gazed up to notice that the sun was hidden behind a large canopy of trees. He gasped as he looked around at his surroundings. The house that he had just been in was completely made of of wood and he didn't notice it until now. The house itself was completely built inside the base of a tree. There were trees with houses in them that surrounded his birth home. Could this be his birthplace, the place he could originally call home? What was the name of this luscious and peaceful forest?

Suddenly, a loud cry interrupted Link's train of thoughts. He ran back inside and into the room to find his father holding his mother's wrist and pressing on it with two fingers. "I can't feel a pulse!" he panicked.

The midwife came rushing in and immediately began to check everywhere for a sign of her pulse. When she felt nothing, she sat down in the chair across from the bed and buried her hands into her face. Loud sobs were heard shortly after, echoing through the walls of the home. Link's mother, the light of his life, was truly gone. There was nothing he could do about it except mourn just as the midwife and his father did. Link however was only a baby at that time, and so he didn't understand much of what was going on.

Was this still a dream? Now it was turning into a nightmare! Link only wished to wake from this terrible dream into the warm and comfy room that he had always trusted. However, something told him that he wasn't going to wake up anytime soon.

Link watched as his father gently lifted her off the bed and wrapped her in a white sheet. He walked slowly outside, tears slowly rolling off his cheeks until they dropped to the floor. The midwife followed him, and Link followed right behind her. His father carried her to her final destination, a beautiful sanctuary deep within the heart of the forest. He buried her where many other people lie, in a beautifully decorated cemetery.

After she was buried, Link's father sank to his knees and cried with his face buried in his hands. Link came up and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder because he knew what that kind of pain felt like, but soon he realized that he had made a huge mistake. For when Link touched his shoulder, his father looked up and actually saw him. He gasped, stood up and backed away from him. "W-who are you?" he asked with his eyes as wide as the sun.

Link gasped as he realized that his father could now see him. "Um... uh... who do you think I am?" he asked, hoping that he wouldn't know his true identity.

"Son..." his father gasped while standing up. "I knew you would find me one day, but I do wonder how you managed to travel back in time."

"Wait, what? Y-you.. H-how... just what?" Link was speechless. Surely he was creating a ripple in history by letting his father know who he was! "I'm creating a ripple in history, this is really bad!" Link panicked.

His father smirked at him and shook his head. "No, no you're not. There's no way you could mess up history this way."

Link raised his eyebrow. "What do you mean, I'm totally messing this all up!" he exclaimed with a worried tone.

"Link you're not creating any ripple in time because this is all a dream. Well, actually a flashback sort of dream to be exact. The point is, I'm real and here but everything else was just a flashback. The only reason I'm real is because I'm really alive, son. I've been trying to contact you through your dreams for years, but only tonight have I finally been blessed by the goddess Din herself to communicate with you." Link's father explained.

"Wait, how would you know if I'm alive or not? I mean, the last time you saw me was when I was a little baby! Also, why are you just contacting me now? Why couldn't you do it earlier? I thought you were dead too, how are you alive? I was told that you died in a swordfighting accident!"

Link's father chuckled as he patted Link's head. "I see you have many question, m'boy. No worries, I've got all the answers for you. However, first I must ask if you would like to have those questions answered face to face." Link's father smiled.

Link gasped at him in surprise. "You really mean... I can visit you?

"Of course! What, did you think I really died? No son, I'm as alive as you are. However, the only problem is is that I'm very far away from you, at least a couple of days worth. It'll take me a while to get to you but once I do then we shall talk."

Link smirked. "I could take care of that for you... In other words, what if you were to get here faster?"

"What? How is that even possible?" Link's father asked.

"Well, you'll just see, but in order to make it happen I must be awake. Now the only problem is, I have no idea where you are. If you would tell me, I could get you here in no time."

"Well, I have no idea what the kingdom's name is, but their ruler is named Princess Julianna. Maybe you've heard of her?"

"I know exactly where you are! Ok, now the only thing to do is wake up." Link said.

"Wake up, Link. Wake up. I... I need to wake up." Link mumbled.

"Link, wake up. Link, wake up please!" llia begged as she shook Link awake.

"W – what? How long have I been asleep, and what is so important?" Link groaned as he rubbed his head. He then looked at llia who was frowning at him while crossing her arms.

"Link, we have a major crisis on our hands. Zelda was kidnapped last night!" she exclaimed.

"Yeah, I know that. I was there when it happened. I just can't believe I couldn't save her on time!" Link mumbled through gritted teeth.

llia roughly grabbed Link and pulled him closer to her. "Link do you have any idea what Zelda might be going through right now? The poor thing is probably suffering under Dominique's wrath!"

"I – I can't even imagine what Zelda might be going through right now. However, I swear on Dominique's grave that I will do everything in my power to rescue her." Link sighed as he lowered his head slightly and put his hand over his heart." Zelda, I swear that wherever you are, I will rescue you. As your boyfriend, protector, and best friend I swear that you will be saved." Link muttered secretly to himself.

"Good, you better Link. You should probably go ahead and get started on rescuing her. Dominique is probably torturing her right now, she needs your help!"

Link bit his lip as he avoided eye contact with llia. " There's one small problem with that, llia. I – I actually have something that I need to get done. I hate the idea of putting Zelda in danger, but if we are going to win this war against Dominique then we are going to need some backup. Trust me, it's a long story but I need to go right away. I'll see you later, llia." Link waved as he stood up and exited his house.

"Indy, how are you doing? "Link asked as he walked up to the beautiful white mare who was currently munching away on the grass. " Listen girl, I need a favor of you. Can we go back to the kingdom where Princess Julianna rules? I promise it is a short trip, and it will only take a couple of hours. If you help me, I will give you a great reward." Link cooed as he stroked her mane.

As Link saddled up, he prepared himself for what was to come. Not only was he about to meet his dad for the first time, but he was also about to make a first impression on him. He wondered what his dad needed to tell him, and also he wondered whether Princess Julianna would hit on him or not during their meeting. He sure hoped not, he didn't want another "incident" to happen.

Zelda's POV

Meanwhile, Zelda indeed wasn't necessarily having the best time, but at least she wasn't hurt. No, as long as Dominique thought that he could rule over her, he would never hurt a hair on her head. He loved her way too much to do that. Coming from Dominique that sounded really weird, because he was a villain and he never really knew what love was until he met Zelda. However, he always got jealous of Link because he always got in the way.

Zelda painfully rubbed her wrists bounded by the chains that were stuck on the wall. "Link, where are you?" Zelda groaned softly to herself. "I know you're going to save me, but when? I need you Link, I miss you so much. It isn't fun being kidnapped or captured in fact it's quite dull and boring. Dominique never lets me go outside, and he never lets me do anything fun. I wish you would rescue me soon, I'm living a very boring life here. At least Dominique is not hurting me, you do not have to worry about that."

"Who are you talking to?" a voice suddenly startled Zelda from being deep in thought. Zelda turned to look at the source of the voice , and saw Dominique standing behind her. Rolling her eyes and crossing her arms, she turned around to talk to him.

"None of your business," she said with a sarcastic tone in her voice. " Why are you stalking me anyway? Shouldn't you be visiting your other kidnapped victims in the dungeon?"

Dominique rolled his eyes and crossed his arms as well. "Puh-leze, why would I need to capture other victims when I have the only victim that I need?" he asked as he stepped closer to Zelda and stroked her cheek.

Zelda instinctively step back and look at Dominique with a disgusted look on her face. "What are you doing, Dominique? I have a boyfriend in case you already didn't know, but I'm pretty sure you do. Stop hitting on me Dominique, it's disgusting!"

Dominique narrowed his eyes at Zelda. "You won't be his for long Zelda, I'll do everything in my power to make you mine, you'll see."

Zelda rolled her eyes again at him." Don't you ever give up? You know I have a boyfriend already. Why can't you just leave me alone?"

"Oh, I would not say that if I were you my sweet precious Zelda. Some people might suffer gruesome consequences for your choice of words."

"Gruesome consequences? Dominique, what do you mean?" Zelda asked curiously and worriedly.

"Oh Zelda, you really don't want to know what I mean. I would much rather like to preserve your innocence while I still can." Dominique said while stroking her cheek again.

"Okay, would you please stop doing that?" Zelda asked. "Dominique, you're really creeping me out."

"Hey, I could really hurt you if I wanted to." Dominique growled. " I'm just trying to be nice to you, Zelda. I want to be your friend again. Is that too much to ask?"

"Dominique, you have got to be kidding me! First, you take over the entire kingdom of Hyrule and then expect me to be your friend again? Do you have any idea what you've done? Link nearly died because of you! Do you really expect me to just join the dark side? Never! I love Link way too much to do that to him."

Dominique sighed a deep long sigh as he looked into Zelda's eyes for the millionth time that day. "Why do you love him?" He asked, muttering to himself. "Am I not good enough for you? What does he have that I don't? Why do you love him more than you could ever love me?" he asked Zelda in a desperate tone.

"Oh, so this is what it's all about. Well, I'll tell you Dominique, you don't deserve to be my friend. You see, you have done a lot of wrongdoing and evil and that can only lead to a violent marriage! Besides, you basically took over my entire kingdom. What makes you think I'll ever trust you, much less love you?"

"Alright, I'm starting to lose my patience here. Zelda, I've been very nice to you but no more mister nice guy. No, now it's time to get down to business. Now, bow before me or suffer the consequences."

"How in Hyrule do you expect me to bow before you when I am bounded and restricted by these horrible stupid chains? Also, I'd never bow before you! You'll never earn that kind of respect from me, ever! " Zelda growled.

"Oh, I don't think so. I'll take those off for you, however there is one condition." Dominique mummered seductively.

"Oh? What exactly is that? You'd better not do anything to me that I don't want, because if you do Link will come after you for revenge. If you know anything about Link, he never gives up. You'll be severely hurt or possibly dead , which is even better!" Zelda warned.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Do you REALLY expect me to believe that Link could ever beat me? Come on Zelda, think about it! A young lad around the age of 18, whom has limited experience in the ways of the sword fighting against a man around the age of 20 whom has a lot of experience with sword fighting. Which do you think would win? Exactly, me! Link doesn't even stand a chance!"

Zelda had had just about enough with Dominique. She pulled out a sword that she had received from her father before he died. She may be bound by chains, but they did not restrain her completely, so she was able to slash it at him. Aiming it at Dominique's face, Zelda managed to strike both of his cheeks which left them with bloody scars.

"Oh, you just made the biggest mistake of your life, Zelda! Come with me!" Dominique growled as he roughly dragged Zelda into the darkness...

Sorry, I have to stop here for a minute to add to the dramatic suspense of what just happened! There actually are reasons to be worried here- Domonique is a very strong man that could easily take down Zelda if he really wanted to. He could also do the unthinkable, which if you don't get me, the "unthinkable" is rated M for mature. Also, Dominique and Link don't exactly get along. He could get revenge on him by hurting his girlfriend, Zelda. Anyway, enough chit chat! The show must go on!

Link's POV

As Link entered Princess Julianna's kingdom, he could see that there was total chaos within the castle walls. As he entered the castle gates, he could see the guards trying to fight off something big and monstrous. Coming closer, he saw that it was nothing but a large stallion who was bucking everyone off of his back.

The stallion reared and neighed as he tried to fight off the soldiers who came running to attack him. Link could see that he was a strong horse, built for speed, endurance, and strength. Link approached him calmly, while still riding on Indy. The stallion turned to look at Link, but as he saw Indy for the first time, he calmed down and neighed gently at her. Walking slowly towards them, he nuzzled Indy's face with his own. "Ooooh, somebody has a boyfriend!" Link teased.

Suddenly, Link heard a loud explosion. Turning to the source of the noise, he saw the double doors of the front castle wide open, and a crazy eyed Princess Julianna looking at him possessively and seductively.

Link wanted to run and flee, but he knew that he was going to have to face her sometime. Riding up to her on Indy's back, he dismounted and greeted her with one of his trademark signature smiles.

"Hi Princess Julianna, I'm here to see my dad. Do you know where he is?" Link asked. "Oh, I know where he is. However, I think somebody owes me for the way they treated me the last time they were here!" Princess Juilanna snapped back at him.

Link took a step back and raised his hands in defense."Hey, look I'm sorry for acting the way I did last time, but that gave you no right to kiss me like that. I told you that I had a girlfriend, but you did not respect that! So in my defense, you're not entirely exactly innocent either." Link stated.

"Fine, have it your way. My kingdom will not support the kingdom of Hyrule when you need us in the war. In fact, you can just kiss that contract goodbye!" Julianna exclaimed.

"Okay, look Julianna, I'm sorry. Can we just be friends? It would be a huge help if your kingdom defended us in the war against Dominique, the most notoriously evil man in the world." Link begged her with his eyes and slightly

Julianna smiled slightly. "Aww, not the pouty face! Fine, my kingdom will help support yours during the war. However there is one condition. You have to give me a big hug. I mean, friends do that, don't they?"

Link smiled back at her. "Sure, I guess friends do that." He stepped closer to her and wrapped his arms around her, giving her a big hug

Julianna hugged him back, smelling his all too familiar pine tree scent that he carried around with him wherever he went.

Julianna pulled away and smiled at him. "Alright, I'll tell you where your dad is. He is in the library, which is on the second floor-first door on your right." Julianna said.

"Thanks, Julianna! Alright, I'll see you later." Link waved as he stepped around her to go to the stairs. As he climbed the stairs, he had a million thoughts running through his mind.

What if his dad didn't approve of him? He had talked to him in his dreams, but that didn't count. What would he think about him? Would he act friendly, or would he treat him rudely? Would they get along, or would it end up in a huge fight?

As Link stood outside the library door, he sighed. This was the final moment before he saw his dad for the first time. This was it, the moment that he had been waiting for his whole life. For years, he had thought that his father was dead, but now he was about to prove himself wrong.

Slowly creaking the door open, Link peeked in and took a good long look at what his father looked like.

He was wearing a long black cape and a large black helmet on his head. Also, he wore large black armor that covered his entire body from head to toe. His long, black sword was hidden away in the scabbard that was strapped to his belt that hung around his waist.

" S–son? Is that really you?" Link's father gawked as he saw his son for the first time. He walked forward slowly, not knowing what to say.

"F-father?" Link asked softly. "Father..." he repeated, his eyes swelling up with joyful tears. Link's father was crying as well- the tears were visible as they rolled down his cheek.

The two walked towards each other slowly, then started to run. As they came together and hugged each other for the first time, both of them choked up in tears. "D-dad I-I'm so happy to see you! W-what's up?" Link asked as he wiped a tear from his eye.

"S-son..." Link's dad said again as he reached up and touched his son's face for the first time. " Son, I've missed you so very very much! How has your life been? I've heard so many things about you from fellow acquaintances of mine! They say that you're an expert swordsman, only the best. Is this true?" Link's father asked.

Link blushed slightly and smiled at his father. " Yes father, it's true. I've worked my entire life devoted to swordsmanship and being a rancher. I used to work for a man named Fado, herding his goats into the barn every night before he closed up for the day. I would train with the skilled swordsman named Rusl, who taught me the ways of the sword. By the time I was 10 years old, I was ready to go out into the world and experience my own adventures. Since then, I have gone on countless quests, slayed countless monsters, and rescued one princess countless times. However, it's all been worth it because me and the princess are now dating.

"W – wait. By princess, do you mean Princess Zelda by any chance?" Link's father asked.

"The one and only, why yes I am." Link smiled. "Why, do you happen to know her?" "Actually, no. However, I do know her mother..." his father grumbled silently.

"Her mother? How do you know her?" Link asked." Don't ask that, that's classified information." Link's dad snapped. "I'll never tell you about Christina..." he muttered.

Link put a hand on his father's shoulder reassuringly." Come on dad, you can tell me anything! How did you know Queen Christina? Why are you so antagonistic against her?"

Link's father sighed. "Wow son, you catch on quick. Indeed I do not like her, but it is for good reasons! You're never going to leave me alone until you find out, are you?" As Link shook his head no, his father sighed. "Fine, I'll tell you the story."

It all starts when Link's father is a young lad, living in the same forest that Link was born in. Meanwhile, Zelda's mother was living in the castle as a young lass.

One day, Link's father decided to explore the kingdom. As he came across the castle gates, he looked up and saw a beautiful mysterious girl on the balcony."Who is that?" He asked a random guard who was standing watch at the gate."That is Princess Christina, one of the most beautiful girls in the world." the guard replied.

"I see that." Link's father replied. " How exactly do I get in there?" he asked the guard.

The guard slightly chuckled." Do you really expect me to just let you into the castle walls? No, only royalty is allowed inside the castle walls. You'd have to be a prince or duke or somebody of that title to be able to get through those walls. Sorry kid, but those are the rules."

Link's father sighed. " Does the princess ever come out of the castle? Will I ever get the opportunity to see her?" he asked.

The guard chuckled again." I hate to rain on your parade, but no that's only a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you ever managed to see her, heck I'd be surprised!" the guard replied.

"Oh, well I guess that'll never happen to me."Link's father sighed. "You got that right, kid. Now, go so you won't create any more trouble!" the guard warned, slightly growling at him.

"Sorry sir, I'll be on my way." Link's father apologized as he turned around and walked away.

"Wait! Waiiittt! Don't go, please!" Link's father heard in the distance. He turned around to find the beautiful princess running towards him, with her high heels clacking on the ground.

Suddenly,he heard a sharp scream as the princess lost her balance and fell, landing into his arms. As he looked down at her and raised an eyebrow, she looked up at him and smiled.

"You... you saved my life!" she softly said as she stood up. "Thank you sir, I owe you! May I ask your name?"

"Why of course, milady. I am Sir John, and it is a pleasure to meet her Highness." John bowed properly to the princess and kissed her gently on the hand.

Christina giggled and blushed, avoiding eye contact with the handsome stranger. "Wow... John, that's such a handsome name!" Christina smiled. " Will you come hang out with me? I'm kind of bored in this huge castle with no friends to play with."

"Why certainly! I just have to get past your guard, which is very protective of you."

Christina smiled and rolled her eyes. "Oh, that's not a problem. I can take care of that!" She then turned to the guard and dismissed him with the wave of her hand. "You are now dismissed, guard. You do not have to watch over me anymore today. I am in good hands now." she stated.

The guard nodded slightly, saluted her, and then left without another word. Christina turned to Link's father and smiled." Hey, now that he's gone do you want to play a friendly game of hide and seek?" she asked. Link's father smiled." Sure, I'd love to play a game of hide and seek with you!" Great, I'll hide and you seek. Come to 100, because this is a huge castle and it might take me a while to hide." Christina giggled.

"Oh, okay! Well, you go hide and I'll come see you!" John said.

Queen Christina giggled as she ran away from John and entered the enormous castle. John covered his eyes, counted to 100, and then went searching for Princess Christina. He entered the large brass double doors that lead into a huge room, and gawking at its size, he was so surprised to find all sorts of fancy interior decorations that strung all around the walls of the huge room.

"Wow!" he exclaimed."This room is so big! It's going to be very hard to find Princess Christina within these walls!" John exclaimed. As he searched around the main room for her, he noticed all sorts of little details about the marvelous wondrous castle. He saw the tapestry, the huge large pictures that depicted the legend of the true hero of Hyrule.

He then climbed the spiral staircase that led to the second floor. As he reached the top step, he noticed something peculiar about the place. Studying the tapestry that hung on the walls, he noticed that there were strange symbols that represented hieroglyphics. Of course, he had no idea what the hieroglyphics represented or symbolized, but knowing himself, there was no doubt that he would eventually figure it out.

"Christina? Christina, where are you? I'm going to find you!" he teased. Suddenly hearing a little giggle in the distance, he knew where his target was, and he was most certainly going to find her.

"I... got you!" he exclaimed as he pulled back the shower curtain. However, instead of finding Christina, he found a woman taking a shower. She screamed and delivered a harsh kick to him, and he yelped in pain as he ran away. With his cherry red face, he seemed really flustered.

As he got farther away from the door to the bathroom, he saw Christina standing out in the middle of the hallway. John huffed and crossed his arms. "You know, when someone is trying to seek you, you're supposed to hide, silly!" he giggled.

Christina rolled her eyes. "I know, but you couldn't find me and you nearly got in trouble so I revealed myself to see if you were alright." she stated...

"Uh, Dad? As cute as the story of how you met is, it still doesn't explain why you don't like her." Link pointed out.

"Right, sorry I guess I just got a little sidetracked there. Well, the real reason why I don't like her is because she broke my heart. We dated for a couple of years until she met Zelda's father, and she preferred him over me because he seemed so perfect. So she dumped me, and they began dating, even though her and I were meant to be. I despised Daphnes, the name of Zelda's father, as much as I also held a grudge against her for crushing my heart. It was only when I met your mother that my heart was mended, but I will never forgive Christina for what she did. That's why I don't like her, and I want nothing to do with her every again." John scoffed.

"That's why she hated me at first! I must have reminded her of you! She gave me quite a hard time when I first met her." Link chuckled. "In all seriousness though, I think that you should put that all behind, dad. I mean, the past is in the past, and I need you to help aid me. I'm not powerful enough to defeat Dominique on my own, I'm going to need some major back up!"

"Link, I just can't. I'm sorry son, but I just can't side with her. You're going to have to make a decision with me- either you stay neutral with me, or fight against me and with Christina. I know you'll make the right choice son, you wouldn't betray your own father!" John exclaimed.

"Actually dad, I think I'm going to have to side with Christina. I'd hate to betray you, but there's no way I'm giving up this revolution against Dominique for you. Zelda means too much to me to let go of so easily, and there's no way I'm going to let just anyone change my mind." Link stated as he stormed out of the room, down the hall, and back to his house.

As Link laid down on his bed, he pondered whether the decision he made was the right one. Would his father change his mind and decide to help aid him? Or would his father oppose him? Would he be forced to fight against his own flesh and blood? Link shuddered at the thought, he truly hoped not. While he was troubled with that problem, he was also troubled about the whole issue involving Zelda. Link wondered and hoped that she was safe. As much as he despised Dominique, he couldn't imagine him hurting a hair on her head. While Link pondered all of these problems and questions, he was uncertain for what lie ahead in the future.
