AU for Kurtbastian week: Day two, theme: Cheerleader Kurt and Lacrosse Sebastian.

Sebastian is dragged to McKinley by Hunter who wants to lay some more ground work with head cheerleader Quinn. Sebastian is angry to be brought along till he spies the hot co captain.

(Also I don't condone the way Hunter acts in this story but sadly sleazy guys do exist and this story is AU.. )

"This is ridiculous Hunt, you've been pursuing Quinn Fabray for ages so you've said and clearly she's not interested so get the hint" Sebastian grumbled, dumping his Lacrosse gear into the back seat, Hunter watching him with a manic glint in his eyes and folded arms.

"Well I'm sure I've almost got her, she's playing hard to get. You know how woman are" Hunter retorted, before grabbing his own gear off the ground and shoving it in next to Sebastian's.

Sebastian slammed the door and spun around to face his co captain and obnoxious room mate.

"No I don't know nor do I want to" Sebastian said sarcastically.

Hunter barked out a laugh before turning on pleading eyes quickly. "Please Bas I need you to be my wing-man and talk me up to her. I really want a hot girlfriend and Quinn is sexy as, she's perfect" Hunter begged shamelessly.

Sebastian rolled his eyes. "Not to mention not interested" he snapped before turning to make his way to the driver's seat. Hunter snatched his arm and spun him around.

"What the hell" Sebastian growled, yanking his arm free.

"Please dude if you help, I'll go to a gay bar and help you pick up guys" Hunter pleaded.

Sebastian laughed in response. "Like I've ever needed help in that department..alright, if it get's you to shut up. I'll help" he said.

Hunter grinned. "Thanks man, you won't regret it" he said excitedly before opening the passenger door and getting in.

Sebastian sighed, making his way to the driver's side.

"I'm already regretting it" he muttered. He had only just started at this school last week having transferred from another School after his Father got a new job offer. He was head captain on Lacrosse team there so was able to secure a head spot on the Dalton team quickly after his transfer. Unfortunately he was stuck was Hunter as a room mate and now he was some how being roped into going to McKinley to help Hunter score. The things he did for people.

"We're the opposing team, we shouldn't be here" Sebastian hissed at Hunter as they made their way to the field where the Cheerios were practicing.

"Oh who cares, we played on this field last week" Hunter snipped.

"You did, I haven't played McKinley yet" Sebastian hissed back. Hunter just shrugged before grinning as he laid eyes on Quinn who instantly stiffened when she noticed him.

"Hunter" Sebastian began, as he noticed Quinn's scowl. He went to say more but his breath got caught in his throat when his eyes landed on the figure next to Quinn looking in their direction.

Standing next to Quinn was the most gorgeous boy Sebastian had ever laid eyes on, he felt his heart begin to lodge in his throat as he swept his eyes over the gorgeous boys body.

Hunter slapped his hand on Sebastian's chest. "Come on let's go, she's ready" Hunter quipped.

Sebastian didn't reply, he couldn't form words. Hunter turned and raised an eye brow at Sebastian.

"What are you looking at" Hunter asked before turning and noticing the boy next to Quinn.

"In your dreams" Hunter said, smirking "Now if you don't mind, I'm going to get my lady"

Sebastian opened his mouth to reply before shaking his head and quickly following Hunter, Quinn was looking more revolted the closer they got to her.

"I'm not interested" was the first thing Quinn spat once they reached her.

A high laugh filtered out of the gorgeous man next to Quinn, Sebastian stood up straighter as he met the strangers eyes. Who licked his lips as he returned Sebastian's gaze.

Hunter looked rejected for a second before quickly recovering "Come on baby, I can make you feel good" He pleaded.

Sebastian shock his head at his friends stupidity before looking at the gorgeous stranger again but said strangers eyes were narrowed at Hunter.

"She said no, so back off" the stranger snapped.

Sebastian smirked at the comment before glancing at Hunter, he seemed only slightly off put.

Determined to not back down, Hunter stepped closer and stroked Quinn's arm.

Quinn instantly stepped back quickly, her eyes narrowed.

"Go away Hunter" she snapped before turning and storming off in the direction of the other girls who were stretching by the stands.

"You heard her, leave her alone" the gorgeous stranger suddenly said.

"I'll be back" Hunter replied angrily, scowling before turning and walking away. He stopped when he realised Sebastian wasn't following.

"Hi gorgeous" Sebastian spoke up, as he eyed the stranger up and down. His heart was still racing but at least he hadn't lost the ability to speak.

"Hello" the stranger answered before the boys eyes raked up and down Sebastian's body, darkening slightly.

Sebastian inwardly preened.

"What's your name, or can I call you gorgeous more" Sebastian said.

Hunter made a coughing sound masking the words "No game".

The stranger glowered at Hunter before turning to Sebastian, he stuck his hand out towards Sebastian.

"Kurt Hummel, co captain of the Cheerios" he said, his eyes sparkling.

Sebastian smiled, linking his fingers with Kurt's and shaking his hand.

"Sebastian Smythe, co captain of the Warblers Lacrosse team, charmed" he said, making sure to slide his fingers slowly through Kurt's as he let go of his hand after shaking it.

Kurt swallowed before smiling.

"I heard about Dalton getting a new captain. Your name was mentioned" he managed, "Dalton's team always beats ours"

Sebastian laughed lightly. Hunter folded his arms across his chest in impatience and tapped his foot. Sebastian noticed out of the corner of his eyes but ignored it.

"So would you be interested in maybe getting dinner some time, if you're not too worried with us being in opposing Schools and all" Sebastian asked, mentally crossing his fingers and toes.

Kurt licked his lips before glancing behind him where his friends were still stretching. Quinn glanced at him and Kurt gave her a small smile, she responded with one back before facing the others again. Kurt turned back to Sebastian, quickly eyeing Hunter then Sebastian again.

"Sure, if you tell your friend to back off mine." Kurt answered. Sebastian grinned happily.

Hunter was seething.

Kurt put his hand out again, Sebastian gave him a confused look and went to shake his hand again. Kurt laughed at that, his eyes twinkling. Sebastian felt his heart beat faster.

"Give me your phone so I can program my number" Kurt said.

Sebastian nodded, reaching into his pocket and grabbing his phone before handing it over. Kurt added his contact info before passing the phone back.

"Text me your number later and we can make plans to get dinner tomorrow night" Kurt said, before stepping up and kissing Sebastian's cheek.

Sebastian felt his skin tingle from where Kurt's lips had touched.

"I'll see you soon" Kurt said softly, as he stepped back.

Sebastian nodded. "I'll text you" he said.

Kurt nodded before turning and making his way back to his friends, who seemed eager to hear details. Quinn seemed skeptical. Kurt turned before he reached his friends and gave Hunter a pointed look.

"Bye hunter" Kurt stressed, waving his hand before letting his fingers slip, leaving only his middle finger. The Cheerios cackled loudly, even Sebastian couldn't help but laugh too.

Kurt nodded before smiling at Sebastian once more than he was back with his friends, getting into a huddle.

Sebastian breathed in deeply, the weight of his phone in his pocket a reminder of Kurt's phone number and the upcoming date.

Hunter looked like Christmas had been cancelled as Sebastian turned to face him.

"You got his number" he snipped. Sebastian nodded.

"I couldn't get Quinns" Hunter scowled as they made their way to the car.

"You came on too strong..looks like I have more game after all" Sebastian retorted. Hunter scowled in response.

Sebastian couldn't help but feel smug. He was never letting Hunter live his embarrassing moment down.

After all Hunter was the one who wanted to date a cheerleader and Sebastian ended up being the one to score a date with a Cheerio. Not bad for someone who had only just started a new School.

He definitely didn't have any regrets now..
