Chapter 26 - Amusement park
Watching my children look around the park near them was giggle worthy. I mean they were awestruck from all the cars, visible coasters, the amount of people, the smell of food. And we were only in the parking lot. Smiling at the workers we got unlimited passes as we entered I turned to my children. "You know the rules of this world by now so I think you can go out and enjoy yourselves."
They stopped and blinked at my words. "You're not going to try and pair us up or send us out into groups?"
"You've been with me for about a year. Living under the rules of my home and even listened to my homelands rules. I trust you enough to not cause a scene. Go out and have fun. You'll be able to find me easily anyways."
"What about you?" Pein stated.
"That's correct, you've only mastered the basic of sensing with your chakra." Konan stated.
I smiled and waved my hands in front of my face. "I learned enough to point you're guys out of a crowd. And that enough for today. Go enjoy yourself. We can meet at the ferris wheel later. Now go on."
Watching my children walk off a little unsure, some a few of them looked back at me as they mixed into the crowd. I sighed as I immediately went over to the office trailers. I had some business to fix before I could go and enjoy the parkā¦

Sighing I walked into the park I smiled at the sunlight. It was a slightly hot day. Glad I worn a soft pink and blue outfit I went over to the water rides. Just for some refreshing splashes. Pushing my long silver hair out of my face I smiled as the mist of the ride hit me. It felt nice for sure. Walking around I saw all the games with the players trying to win. I saw a little boy looking around with a tearful face. Walking over to him I knelt in front of him. "Are you lost?"
"Uh?" the boy nodded as I smiled. Picking up my cell I called the closest security post in the park. Reporting the boy and his description to the officer I waited near him as the park guard came over. Waving the boy who was walking to the post I walked around for a bit when I saw a frantic woman. Walking over to her I asked if there was an issue.
"My son...I can't find him."
I blinked as I thought about the boy I found earlier, listing his appearance. I saw the woman nod. I pointed her to the guard post and she asked if I could lead her to it. Smiling I said yes as I lead her to the post, the boy was sitting with the officers who seemed at odds end. The woman ran to her son and hugged him. I smiled as they thanked me and went to enjoy the park. I nodded to the officers as I went to walk the park some more. Now I know my children were enjoying the park, I knew they weren't going to be happy that I was working instead. But hey someone has to check up on the family businesses.
Seeing as everything is going good with some games and that the rides are all working right. I smiled as I saw the food stands. Walking over I ordered a bag of cinnamon pretzels sticks. Paying I sat under a tree to eat. It has now been a few hours since I spoken to my children, I had to start to wonder what they thought about my park. Seeing a few people taking a few photos of me I smiled at them and waved at them. Some waved back and a few freaked out but otherwise they went about their day.

Now I knew my amusement park had carnival rides as well and games I couldn't help the smile on my face as I went on my favorite ride. It was a boat ride. Simple but relaxing. Leaving I saw that the sun was going down as I went to the ferris wheel. Sitting near a tree as I watched the world around me while waiting for my children to come from their fun day. Closing my eyes I enjoyed the summer air and setting sun as I waited.
Feeling a tug on my mind I opened my eyes I saw something I thought I'd never see again. Several cat eyes staring at me, sitting around me. I recognized the fur, eye color and small-ish sizes. My children turned back into cats? I thought that was fixed? I blinked and they gave a soft mew as my amethyst eyes watched them. I sighed and piled them into my arms as I lead them back to our car. Many children giggled excitedly at them but other than that no one stood in my way to get out of the park with my feline children.
Sitting then in the car I called for the driver to take me home. He didn't ask questions at the 10 kittens remained silent as we got driven home. Many questions came into my mind as I wondered how long it had been since they had became cats. I had lost count after a few months. I know at least 2 months had gone by before they had changed back. Waving off the driver for the night I lead my ninja children back inside I saw them stand on ends the moment I opened the door. I blinked at the darkness in the room, nothing seemed out of place but my children seemed wary and upset. Walking in I was about to speak when I felt a soft cloth cover my face. Struggling I felt myself being lead to the living room. My cats seemed to have gotten locked outside.
"Ah~ my silver beauty. It's been too long."
Short update, but the story has reached the halfway point. Hope you enjoy what's to come.
