Bonus Chapter Two point one.

"And now crazy is the new sexy," teased Gaz nastily from behind her tray of food. "I don't know what it is you pair have been doing recently, but you've got most the girls in the Skool drooling over you."

Dib and Zim shared a look, both completely at a loss.

"We've not done anything out of the ordinary," mused Dib, slowly.

"We still fight and argue all around the place," shrugged Zim.

"And no one really talks to us still."

"They have been watching both of us though, since you came back."

"That was nearly four months ago," frowned Dib, feeling his temper picking up. "Why would they still be watching?"

"Duh, because you two have grown up and your tight." Interrupted a new voice, making the three of them look at the new comer to the table. It was a young man called Steven, he was in there year and shared some of the same classes, just an average kind of guy really and one of many like it meaning that neither Zim or Dib had really given him any notice. He was smiling at the pair of confused looks from Zim and Dib so he carried on speaking, "look before Hi Skool, you were both short and crazy and no body cared too much what you did, right?"

Two nods.

"Now, your both grown up! Your tall, broad chested and well toned. You've both got bodies to die for, that look delicious when you both wear such tight clothes. It only makes it more obvious to the rest of us." He indicated with a flip of his hand in there general direction, reminding Dib of his tight blue top and Zim's fitting red long sleeved shirt. "Not to forget you both pull off that 'dark, brooding and mysterious' thing so well. And all the girls are reading those vampire books at the moment. Crazy weirdo's are the fashion right now cuz they all think you'll sweep them off their feet or something."

"What the hell..." Whined Dib, slumping in his seat and leaning on the table, his chin resting on his lunch box.

"But neither of us have given anyone here, any indications that we find them suitably attractive or interesting," pointed out Zim logically, for a moment he sounded more like a text book than a guy. "Why would these girls suddenly find us interesting?"

"I think its because you've not shown any interest," shrugged Steven with a smile and dropping one hand to his hip. "Beats me really. No one really understands what women think, am I right love?" He winked at Gaz and earned a growl in return. "See? Now, boys, I thought I'd come over and simply ask."

"Ask what?" Said Dib flatly, amber eyes looking up at the flamboyant young man.

"Which way you swing it, boy," giggled Steven, flipping a hand at them. "If I know what you prefer, I can let the people around here know and it should take some of the heat off of you. I mean, you guys aren't my cup of tea, I like my men 'loud and proud' as it were, but I thought I could do you both a favour is all since you've never done anything to bother me."

Steven got a pair of owlish stares in return and a glare from Gaz.

After a few minutes of silence, Steven sighed and dropped both hands to his hips, "look I'll come back by the end of lunch okay? I'm only trying to do you a favour." With that, he spun on his heel and walked off with only a slight hint of 'mince'.

"That's what I was about to try and tell you." Gaz snapped, her humour about the whole thing gone. "I've been asked by almost all the girls in my home room if either of you are single or interested in going to the Prom with them. I told them all to go to hell and ask you themselves."

"Thanks. I think." Winced Dib, "I still don't get why we've suddenly gone from 'avoid like the plague' to 'this years hottest new item'."

"He mentioned vampire books, what did he mean?" Asked Zim, still trying to catch up with the Hi Skool news digest.

"No idea. Gaz?"

The purple haired girl chewed her mouthful slowly as she seemed to mull over an answer, making the pair wait impatiently for her to finish. "From what I understand about it all," began the teenager at last. "The story usually goes, there's a new person at whatever the school is, very mysterious and everything, could be a guy or girl. The main character is always a girl and she ends up getting the attention of the guy, sometimes there's two guys, sometimes there's flirting other times there isn't. But it carries on that the girl finds out the boy is a blood drinking vampire and they shouldn't be together because he'll kill her. Then there's some junk about loving each other or soul mates or something and it kinda carries on from there."

Zim and Dib sat in silence for a moment, thinking.

"How does that relate to the mighty Zim or the Dib-stink, in any way what so ever?" Asked Zim at last, still trying to understand and just sounding sceptical.

"For a pair of smart guys, you can both be really retarded at times." Growled Gaz, playing with the food on her tray now. "Basically-"

"I think I get it," interrupted Dib, lifting his head and looking at the pair. "Steven mentioned that we both have that mysterious-thing going on, since no one knows jack shit about us really. So every ones trying to come up with there own ideas about why we're so different."

"So they think we're blood sucking vampires?" Asked Zim woodenly.

"Who know's what they think," snapped Gaz, not appreciating being interrupted twice in one hour, let alone twice in one day. "Either way, the fact that neither of you show any interest in anyone makes you hard to get and that's a challenge, even the fact that your both moody and fight a lot, you don't hurt anyone else. So it seems every ones gone nuts over you."

"And the fact that we're good looking," snickered Dib, gripping his chin and pretending to strike a pose before snorting and slumping on the table top again, dejected once more. "Bull shit. Why can't people just leave us alone? Its not like I've any interest in them anyway."

"Would it be easier to just tell everyone that?" Ventured Zim, pulling a packet of chips out of his bag and opening them. Now he seemed to understand things better, it still didn't seem to bother him. Maybe it was the fact he wasn't human, thought Dib with a mental sigh. Maybe it was the fact that Zim was an ass hole that didn't really care about anyone other than himself, Dib and Gaz?

"Doubt it'd work." Shrugged Dib listlessly, "but I suppose turning everyone down means the message will get through eventually."
