"Who goes there?" Bulkhead shouted at the door. Lucario moved menacingly towards the door; still not sure who stood there. The shape started to move toward the lights and the group could all see what looked like wings on the mech's back.
"Bulkhead, we need someone to help us! It's the Quintessons…" Ash and the others recognised that voice; it was one of the twin Gym Leaders from Vos.
"Slow down and calm down, Dreadwing." Ash and the others looked shocked, how could Bulkhead tell the difference between them; when they could only see a shadowy shape?
"He said something about Quintessons; Bulky…" Seaspray told him. Dreadwing stepped out into the light and noticed that Ash and the others were there.
"Ah, I think I just found my help…" He told the whole group; before muttering something that sounded like 'he said they might be here…' Brock and Max heard him and seemed to think he was talking about his twin.
"What was it you were saying about Quintessons?" Misty asked; eager to fight them.
"The Quintessons are attacking Vos, and I'm not sure how much longer we can hold out against them!"
"The one Max just fought said something about them being ready to begin their final assault…" May told them.
"Where did you see him? We might be able to catch him and find out where their base is!"
"He took off towards Vos, I think…" Dawn told him. Dreadwing sighed; he hadn't seen any Quintessons other than the ones attacking Vos…
"Can you come and help us defend Vos, Ash?"
"What about the rest of us?" Misty asked grumpily and Dreadwing quickly changed his question.
"Can you all come and help us defend Vos? I'm not sure that our Pokémon can hold off the Quintessons much longer…"
"Of course we will help you! We can't let those Quintessons get a hold of all of the Pokémon in Vos!" Ash told him, sounding confident.
"We'd best start heading there, before it is impossible to win the battle…" Brock told them and they also started to head towards the door.
"Good luck!" Both Seaspray and Bulkhead called after them. Bulkhead would have liked to have gone with them, but he would have to heal his Pokémon first!

"Honchkrow use Wing Attack!" Skywarp's Honchkrow flew towards his opponents slowly; he didn't have much health left.
"Plusle use Helping Hand!" Skyquake's Plusle cheered for Honchkrow, jumping up and down. He too didn't have much health left.
"Muk use Mud Bomb!" A ball of mud flew across the arena at Plusle; who collapsed after it collided.
"Plusle return…" Skyquake reluctantly returned Plusle to his pokéball. I hope Dreadwing hurries up! We aren't going to last much longer. If Skywarp's Honchkrow takes one more hit…
"Sigilyph use Air Slash!" Sigilyph sliced the air with its wings. The cutting gust stopped Honchkrow's attack. Honchkrow fell to the ground with swirls in his eyes.
"No!" Skywarp cried out; unable to believe he'd lost. He was wishing that girl with Princess would come and rescue him…
"Looks like no one in this city can stand up to the power of the Quintessons!" Vashik called out smugly. Rexian, meanwhile, was spraying Muk and Sigilyph with what looked like Full Restores.
"We might have to challenge them now, before they take all of everyone else's Pokémon." Dreadwing suggested; from where they were hiding just outside of Vos.
"Are no Transformers in Vos brave or strong enough to challenge us?" Rexian taunted; his Pokémon and Vashik's were now fully healed. Just as Dreadwing was about to step forward with Ash; they heard a voice come from a different direction.
"I'll challenge you!" The group saw a mech with wings. This didn't surprise them; most of the Transformers in Vos have wings. What did surprise them was the mech also had pointy ears and a lightning bolt shaped tail.
"I'll help you!" A female voice accompanied the male one. The femme looked familiar, apart from the fluffy area around her middle and the fluffy ended rabbit-like ears. Dreadwing sniggered. He knew exactly who these two were; and couldn't believe that they would be willing to battle the Quintessons dressed up like that!
"You think you can defeat Rexian and Vashik?" One of the Quintessons asked them smugly; they'd beat most of the other Seekers easily, what made these two so brave?
"I do!" The Pikachu with wings shouted and Brock cringed; he recognised that voice now!
"Muk use Sludge Bomb!" Muk pulled out a lump of purple goo and threw it towards the Pikachu-like mech. He quickly jumped back before pulling out a pokéball.
"Go Dragonite!" An orange dragon like Pokémon appeared.
"Sigilyph hit the Buneary with Psybeam!" A rainbow coloured beam flew at the Buneary like femme; but she too dodged the attack. She pulled out a pokéball and quickly sent out the Pokémon inside it to join Dragonite.
"Go Lopunny!" Ash remembered that one of the femmes in the Crystal City tournament had a Buneary; probably this Lopunny.
"Didn't one of the femmes in Crystal City have a Buneary?" Ash asked the others.
"Yes, and that is her; but if you're quiet, the Quints might not notice we're here…" Dreadwing told him. Ash decided to stay quiet and watch the battle.
"Dragonite use Dragon Rush on Muk!" Dragonite fluttered into the air and flew at his opponent, growling at him.
"Lopunny, Bounce!" Lopunny sprang into the air, eagerly choosing an opponent.
"Sigilyph use Air Slash!" A sharp wave of air slammed into Dragonite; but it didn't stop his attack. He collided with Muk; who slid backwards a little.
"Muk use Sludge Wave!" A poisonous wave appeared from nowhere and then crashed down on Dragonite. Dragonite shook himself; apparently the poison didn't hurt him much.
"Alright; Dragonite use Wing Attack!" Dragonite flew at Sigilyph and slammed his wings into him. Sigilyph didn't seem too badly hurt.
"Now Lopunny!" Lopunny landed on top of Muk before bouncing off his head. Swirls appeared in Muk's eyes after that hit.
"Grr… Muk return." Rexian seemed annoyed; these two clearly were a match for him!
"Go Gengar!" Rexian's shadowy cat Pokémon appeared.
"Sigilyph use Psychic on Lopunny!" An eerie blue glow appeared around Lopunny and she nervously looked around; not liking being picked up. Sigilyph flapped his wings down. Lopunny collided with the ground and she squeaked; realising she was being lifted up again. When Sigilyph thought Lopunny was high enough; he flapped his wings downwards again sending her back towards the ground. Lopunny barely managed to get back up after that hit.
"Gengar use Payback!" Gengar ran forward and slammed his fist into Lopunny's stomach. She slid backwards a little before collapsing to the ground with swirls in her eyes.
"No…" The Buneary like femme sounded disappointed Lopunny fainted so quickly.
"Lopunny return." Lopunny disappeared inside her pokéball; before her owner pulled out another one.
"Go Swoobat!" A Pokémon that looked like a bat with a fluffy scarf appeared. Ash looked it up on his Pokédex.
"Swoobat, the Courting Pokémon. Anyone who comes into contact with the ultrasonic waves emitted by a courting male experiences a positive mood shift."
"Dragonite use Aqua Tail!" Dragonite spun around and pointed his tail at Sigilyph. A burst of water shot out from the end of Dragonite's tail into Sigilyph, who seemed to be a little bit weaker after that hit.
"Swoobat use Heart Stamp!" Swoobat quickly looked at her opponents before fluttering towards Gengar. Gengar looked nervously at the bat; it looked like it wanted to… Gengar didn't get to finish what he was thinking as a heart shaped something dropped on him from above. He didn't know what that was, but it hurt! Swoobat cheekily fluttered back towards her master; she'd spooked a Ghost!
"Gengar; snap out of whatever you are in and use Shadow Ball!" Gengar shook his head and a ball of darkness appeared in his hands. He threw it at Swoobat, who squeaked after she got hit.
"Sigilyph use Psychic!" Blue light surrounded Dragonite who didn't seem that bothered about being lifted up. It suddenly bothered him when he was slammed into the ground. Dragonite felt himself being lifted up again but he recovered from the next fall before he hit the ground.
"Dragonite use Wing Attack!" Dragonite flew at Sigilyph and slammed his wings into him again. Sigilyph stayed aloft for a few seconds after the hit; but collapsed after that.
"Sigilyph return." Vashik sounded more disappointed than annoyed.
"Go Alakazam!" The yellow cat like Pokémon appeared; not looking like he wanted to battle.
"Use Psycho Cut!" Blades made out psychic power appeared in Alakazam's hands. He darted forward and sliced the blades across Dragonite's stomach. Dragonite wobbled a little; but managing to keep battling.
"Air Cutter, Swoobat!" Gusts of wind that resembled scythes flew across the arena when Swoobat flapped her wings. Alakazam shrugged off the hits but Gengar was barely able to keep standing after that attack.
"Night Shade!" Shadowy shapes that looked like Gengar surrounded Swoobat. She nervously looked around; but didn't get out of the way before they collided with her.
"Dragonite use Dragon Rage!" A stream of blue fire blasted out of Dragonite's mouth at Gengar; who collapsed from all of the damage he'd taken.
"Gengar return." Rexian grumbled; not happy he was losing.
"Go Garbodor!" Rexian's Trash Heap Pokémon appeared.
"Use Gunk Shot!" Some gunk that looked like it came from inside Garbodor flew across the arena into Dragonite. Dragonite just managed to keep going after that hit; causing both of the Quintessons to ponder how strong he was.
"Swoobat use Heart Stamp!" This time Swoobat decided to focus her attack on Alakazam. A heart shaped something fell on to Alakazam; who didn't seem as badly hurt as Gengar did after the attack. Swoobat fluttered her wings cheekily after performing the attack.
"Alakazam use Psychic!" Blue energy surrounded Dragonite and lifted him up higher into the air; apparently Alakazam had had enough of Dragonite too! Alakazam slammed Dragonite into the ground, but then let the Psychic energy dissipate; Dragonite had swirls in his eyes.
"Oh… Dragonite return." The Pikachu like mech didn't sound too disappointed; Dragonite had lasted longer than he thought he would.
"Go Absol!" A white wolf like Pokémon appeared.
"Absol use Bite!" Absol darted forward and bit down on Alakazam's arm. He squeaked and shook his arm; trying to get Absol off.
"Swoobat use Assurance!" A black fist made of shadows appeared beside Swoobat and swung at Alakazam; who couldn't dodge because of Absol clinging to his arm. The blow knocked him out.
"Alakazam return." Vashik seemed disappointed in this Pokémon too.
"Go Reuniclus!" Vashik's green cell like Pokémon appeared.
"Use Hidden Power!" Sparkly packets of energy swirled around Reuniclus and flew at Swoobat. Swoobat didn't seem too badly hurt by the attack; it was water type.
"Garbodor use Acid Spray!" Green coloured acid flew from Garbodor's hand into Swoobat; who wobbled about in the air from the damage she'd taken.
"Swoobat use Confusion!" An eerie purple light appeared around Garbodor and in Swoobat's eyes. Garbodor became nervous as he felt himself being lifted up. Garbodor shrieked after he slammed into the ground. He tried to struggle back to his feet, but collapsed from the hit. Confusion had been a critical hit and knocked him out.
"No!" Rexian sounded annoyed that Garbodor collapsed. Rexian returned Garbodor to his pokéball; before scuttling off away from Vos.
"Absol, ready Razor Wind!" Absol focused his energy and a soft breeze began to blow from somewhere.
"Reuniclus use Psyshock!" A wave of psychic energy flew across the arena at Swoobat. She didn't look worried by this attack; she was psychic type after all! Swoobat got a bit of a shock when she got hit; this attack did physical damage! Swoobat collapsed from the damage she'd taken.
"Aw… Swoobat return." The Buneary femme returned Swoobat to her pokéball.
"Go Bellossom!" Bellossom pirouetted around after she appeared from the pokéball; apparently her first battle had given her a lot more confidence.
"Should we use our combo attack?" The Buneary whispered to the Pikachu. He nodded in response.
"Bellossom use Magical Leaf!" She danced around and rainbow coloured leaves floated up around her.
"Now Absol! Use Razor Wind!" Absol unleashed the scythes of air at the same time as the rainbow coloured leaves.
"What magic is this?" Vashik looked worried.
"Leaf Scythe!" The Buneary and Pikachu called out at the same time.
"Didn't one of the teams in the Crystal City tournament use that move?"
"Yes Ash. Now let's watch the battle!" Dreadwing sounded annoyed; he must have been enjoying the battle! The leaves and the scythes of air both collided with Reuniclus; who was only just able to continue battling after that attack.
"Use Dizzy Punch!" Reuniclus darted forward and rhythmically pounded his fist into Bellossom. She didn't seem too badly hurt after that attack.
"Bellossom use Acid!" The flowers on Bellossom's head released poisonous acid; which collected into a ball. The ball flew at Reuniclus; who collapsed from the damage he'd taken.
"Reuniclus return." Vashik sounded disappointed. Reuniclus disappeared into his pokéball and then his master walked off; away from Vos.
"Alright! You beat them!" Everyone turned to look at Dreadwing when shouted that out. This meant that Ash and the others could see who was battling. Brock winced; remembering the incident at Yoketron's dojo all too well…
"Where did you scuttle off to? We could have used your help defending Vos from the Quintessons!" Skywarp rudely asked Dreadwing.
"I went to get help! Didn't Skyquake tell you?"
"What's with the costumes?" Dawn decided to ask the two who were battling the Quintessons.
"We heard about a Buneary who had an enormous crush on a Pikachu from a tournament recording in Sinnoh." Dawn's face turned red at that mention.
"Don't tell me; she's your Buneary." Dawn nodded. The mech in the Pikachu costume saw Brock trying not to be noticed.
"If it isn't the gentlemech…"
"Starscream; lay off him already!" Arcee told him and he went quiet.
"Why are you wearing those? I thought you were going to help deal with the Quintesson threat; not go off on one of your 'romantic excursions'. Your words; not mine!" Slipstream sounded cross with Starscream for some reason.
"What's the difference? We get to travel together and battle opponents…"
"You still look stupid in them." She sounded smug.
"These aren't even the full costumes; you should see them when they are completely dressed up! It's so funny!" Skywarp sniggered.
"Starscream! I found the… Why are you wearing that? It defies all logic!" A new mech had walked up without any of them noticing. He was mostly purple with one yellow eye that made up most of his head.
"I think he looks cute." Misty pointed out to the newcomer.
"In other words, she's behind it. Anyway; I did what you asked me to Starscream." The mech told them.
"You found the Quintesson base?" Starscream didn't sound like he believed him.
"Yes. And you aren't going to believe the audacity of where they set up their base!" The mech became very cross very quickly; and Max looked a little scared of him.
"Where?" Dreadwing asked.
"In Gygax."
"Clever; they put their base right near Iacon." Skyquake sounded impressed.
"What's Iacon?" Ash asked Dreadwing.
"It's the capital city of Cybertron and also where we have the Elite Four stationed."
"We'd better not stay waiting around here too long then! The Quintessons said they were ready to make their final push." Misty interrupted them.
"You are quite rude." The mech told her.
"Says the mech who hasn't told us his name!" Misty replied and the mech looked shocked.
"I am Shockwave, guardian of Cybertron." He told Misty and everyone else.
"You're not with that snooty blue mech are you?" Max asked and Starscream started to laugh.
"He must mean Sentinel Prime!" Skywarp sniggered.
"No. I'm not an Elite Guard." Shockwave told them.
"Dreadwing; you stay here and check that those two didn't cause any damage." Dreadwing nodded. He and the rest of the seekers went towards the Pokémon Centre, going to heal their Pokémon in case of any more attacks.
"I trust you want to come with us, Ash?" Arcee asked and he nodded.
"Let's go take on those Quints!" Starscream shouted before heading towards the southern exit of Vos, everyone else following behind.
