"Piece of SHIT!" The door came crashing down to the ground. Mirajane walked on top of the door holding crates of food in her arms followed closely by a bemused Erza.

"Could have just put the crates down you know." Her grin grew larger when the Demon Strauss turned her death glare on the girl.

"Shove off." The girl turned back to the stairs and made her way up them to the top where she was met by the silence of an empty guild hall. Outside stars shone over the sleeping, rebuilding town and somewhere a night bird chirped pleasantly. Sighing Mira leant on the counter itself and put her head in her hands, tyring to get rid of the stress building inside her. She felt a small hand touch her left shoulder and looked over to see Erza smiling kindly at her.

"They're fine Mira."

"It's been a month Erza. We have no idea if they're even alive at this point."

"They are." Erza's voice was stern as she unpacked one of the crates of salted meat. "Time goes by a lot faster in the Celestial realm than it does in our own. A whole night can be three months there so to them it's probably only felt like few hours." Her words didn't seem to make her friend feel any better so in a sudden burst of movement Erza grabbed her old rival by the waist, turned her around to face her, and kissed her. At first taken by surprise Mira quickly fell into the kiss and wrestled her friends mouth open to insert a pink tongue. The two women stood wrapped in each others arms making out until Mira suddenly felt a small hand reach up and under her skirt to fondle at the opening between her legs. Moaning the mage ripped Erza's white button-up shirt off her with one hand to reveal a braless upper body which she quickly took advantage of by grabbing a breast and kneeding into it with her left hand. She felt Erza tense and gasp while throwing back her head and pressing Mira's mouth farther into her breast looking for more pleasure. The two kept fighting for domination when the doors to the hall suddenly flew open. Taking immediate action both women rolled down behind the counter and had their clothes on before Bisca was at the counter.

"What did you two do?" She found Erza and Mira picking up a crate of fallen apples and quickly bent down to help pick them up. "It's almost time for the curfew; everyone is about to lock up for the night."

"Sounds good. Thanks Bisca." The tall woman nodded and walked out of the guild hall leaving behind an empty silence.

"I don't want to be alone tonight." Whispered Mira.

"You won't be."

The Next Morning

Mira woke to a bright morning with chirping birds and the sounds of people working and laughing. From behind her the slender arms of Erza wrap around her and bring the white-haired mage closer. Snuggling in she was greatful to the currently naked mage. The night had been one of restful sleep and wonderful dreaming. She knew Erza felt the same, even if she would never say it. Ever since Jellal had left the girl had been tense and solemn.

"Can we just stay like this for the day?" Mira smiled and pulled Erza's arm closer to her body.

"Absolutely we can." The two stayed like that for almost an hour dozing in and out of sleep when suddenly a bell started ringing.

"Shit!" The two jumped out of bed and dressed as quickly as possible. Running out of the guild basement where Mira's bedroom was the two charged out of the hall and into the main courtyard of the rebuilding Magnolia. People were running out from their houses to see who it was that the bell was signalling the arrival of. Running down the road to the entrance of New Magnolia Mira and Erza stood with weapons and magic at the ready for whoever, or whatever, was about to appear through the gates. Slowly, with an almost injured movement, the blue tattered cloak moved itself through the gates.

"JELLAL!" Erza charged forward dropping her sword so she could embrace the man. "I can't believe it's you. Where have you been?!...Jellal?"

There was the sound of hissing from the man. Erza panicked and kicked him in the chest but it was too late. With a sickening sound that sounded like someone taking a baseball bat to hundreds of pounds of meat, Jellal exploded in a shower of crimson. Erza screamed, Mira screamed, Snakes writhed around on the ground where the man used to stand and the town went into chaos.
