I open the door and see some one I haven't seen for almost three years. My cousin Gale who was deployed for three years . " Gale " I say and hug him . I e-mailed him often but it was hard for him to talk to me . I aways knew if he was alright because of my aunt and my uncle would tell me how he was , But it was not the same cause before he was deployed we got to talk almost everyday . Then it hits me I don't know how much Aunt Hazel and Uncle John told him . The most I know is they did tell about what happened to me . I don't know how much they told him cause they didn't want to stress him as he was in Afghanistan .

" Hey Catnip" he say and hugs me back " how is everything ? " he ask. I stare at him about to open my mouth when I hear Maia's cries. He looks at me with wide eyes. " "Katniss " he says .

Gale watch me as rock Maia back to sleep after she asleep I placed her in her swing. Then quickly text peeta to tell him my cousin is home from deployment then we walk to the kitchen.
" What hell happened Katniss " he says in a loud hushed voice
" I got a e-mailed from my parents tell me that you got hurt but you where fine . Then when they picked me for the airport they told me the truth that you where raped." he continues.
" gale .." I try to explain .
" Please tell me that the child in there is not from the one who raped you " he finishes .

"No let me explain everything " I tell him . We sit down at the dining table . I take a deep breath
" A lot has happened this year . That's why I haven't e-mailed you alot this year. " I start , I take another deep breath . " during spring break I met someone his name is Peeta . We dated for about a month then it happened it tuned out someone hired a group of guys to rape me because I started dating peeta . " I look at Gale whose listening to me intently. " Peeta was there for me through everything . After the trill I found out I was pregnant of course she was peeta's . I was sacred at first and there are still moments I still am but Peeta is there for me " I finish telling Gale . I look at Gale trying to read what is was thinking but I can't .

" So you just threw everything you ever dreamed of away?" he asks . I look at him with large wide eyes . " Gale .." I try to say somthing.

" No listen Katniss to me before I left you told me you hade your life planed out . Then when I'm gone you manage to get your self knocked up ! " He yells furiously.

" Gale " I try to say something again but I can see anger in him ,something I never seen before.

"What the hell is wrong with you ?That boy is going to leave you and that thing alone! " he yells.

" Gale "I yell," Peeta is not like that . Do you know how much shit he been through I was there for him too, He loves me and I love him . I don't care If my dreams changed . All I care about now is marrying Peeta and taking care of Maia " I yell . I hear Maia's light cries . I get up from the table and start walking do the livening room . " Katniss" gale says calmly and grabs my arm .

" No just go" I say and yank my arm away. He doesn't need be told twice and gets up and leaves . I walk over to Maia and feed her then rock her back to sleep .

It doesn't hit me till I start cleaning up that I yelled at Gale . Of course when we where young we got in to fights but we got over it quickly . I should have know that he just got home from an traumatic event and he might have lot on his mind .

" Katniss " I hear Peeta as he walks into house . He walks over to kitchen where I am sitting .
" Hey where's your cousin " he asks. I'm still angry at myself for treating Gale the way did . He just got back from a tramatic event .

"He went home " I mumble and look down at the floor.

" Oh, sorry that I missed him " he say and sets next me . He kiss the top of my head . "Hey whats wrong " he asks me. I should have know he could tell that something was wrong .

" I got into fight with him . I yelled at him cause he didn't know about you or Maia and judged you. But I should've known he just got home from a traumatic event so he must have lot on his mind " I tell him and start feel big tears begin to fall.

"Hey it's okay ,you have a lot on you mind too this past month .Just talk to him , okay " he says ,I nod and wipe my eyes
" okay " I say . I text gale and apologize and tell him come over so he can meet Peeta and Maia properly.
