A portal opened underneath me. I kept myself from screaming and fell onto a soft bed. It was pitch black, as usual. I couldn't see anything; there was no difference between the room and the back of my eyelids. I kept my eyes closed so they wouldn't strain, and I felt a long, cool appendage brush my cheek. I sighed and reached a hand up to meet it, gripping his tentacle gently in my hand.
"Slender," I moaned, turning my head to kiss the arm. It pulled away from me slowly, and I opened my eyes. He'd brought a small lantern with him, illuminating just the bed I sat on. The linens were thick and soft and black, and the frame was plain black iron.

"You didn't tell me what you did to Tetsuji." The thought of Slenderman bringing Tetsuji so low put a smile on my face. His hand rested on my cheek, his long fingers brushing at my hairline gently.

"Me too." Zac opened the door, happy to see Max had helped tidy up a bit. He read a note on the counter, frowning.
"What is it?"
"Mom's out working again… she won't be home until tomorrow morning."
"That's a bad thing?"
"I told you where she works."
"Oh, right… she'll make it back. She always does," Tetsuji tried to sound optimistic. Zac's mother worked at a strip club a twenty-minute taxi drive from their apartment.
