Just the way you are...
Chelsea's POV
The world was spinning. And it felt great. Everything was falling into place on my farm, Ganon had built me a maker shed and I had produced some flower and herb seeds. I had fields of crops, flowers and herbs: tomatoes, corn, pumpkins, pinkcats, blue herbs and green herbs. It was tiring to water them all, but sometimes the Harvest Sprites helped me. I had made some good money in the spring and was finally ready to upgrade my house.
Luke came strolling up to me with Nat, their arms linked; they were such a cute couple. "Hey Chelsea, are you going to Ganon's?"
"Yeah, why do you wanna come?"
They nodded their heads excitedly, suspiciously...
I raised my eyebrows at Nat and she just shoved me, I could see a little smile threatening to show on her face though. I nudged Nat, it seemed she was too excited and was about to burst.
"We're getting a house built!" She giggled excitedly, whilst letting out a small shriek. I screamed, earning a disapproving look from Vaughn who was passing us. But who cares what he thinks... Well...
"Where do you want it built?"
"We were thinking near the beach..." Luke chirped a little confused.
"Yeah, near the beach would be good." Nat said happily. She linked arms with me and we did a little skip to Ganon's house.
"Hello Eliza," she smiled at me. We're friends now because I gave her a makeover to say sorry for swearing at her. But that was ages ago.
We headed into the house then walked up to the counter.
"Hey Ganon,"
"What can I do for you?" He said.
"Could I upgrade my house, please?"
"How would you like to upgrade it?"
"Well, I'd like a restroom, a bath, three extra rooms, and a kitchen. How much will that be?" I said a little nervously, because of the price.
"That'll be..." Ganon paused and looked at his calculator. "300,000 gold without materials and 450,000 gold with materials."
I only had 400,000 gold... I couldn't wait any longer, I'm known in the city for my feistiness, stubbornness and impatience.
"Ummm, mates rates..." I said anxiously.
"Don't you have enough kid...?"
"I'm only 50,000 gold off..."
We settled on a deal of 425,000 gold and I would owe him the 25,000 gold. Nat and Luke only had to pay 100,000 gold, which Luke had saved up when he was working for his dad.
We headed back home, so I could call my mum.
"Hey mum," I said once she had finally picked up her damn phone.
"Hey Chels, are you okay?"
"Yeah, are you okay?"
I imagine she nodded her head because she forgets we're on the phone sometimes, "So what has been happening on the farm?"
"I'm upgrading my house,"
"Oh, that's really good." She began whispering, "How much is it?"
"425,000 gold."
She gasped, "Shocking, I know." I said.
"We'll pay for it sweetheart." My mum said urgently.
Whilst in the background my dad said, "No we flipping will not!"
"Am I on speaker? Anyway mum I want to do it myself, I've already paid 400,000 gold."
"Yeah you are on speaker, and how much money do you have left?"
"I saved 25,000 gold for food and stuff you know."
"Okay, well Chelsea I will speak to you later. Oh wait, when is Tommy coming home?"
"I don't know, I'll talk to you later mum. Bye..."
"See you later, honey."
I walked over to Julia's house to have another girly gossip. I stared into the window and saw Sabrina coming out.
She scowled at me, "Out of the way," She sniggered, "Chelsea..."
"Okay," I did bunny ears "Sabrina..."
She stormed past me, and then I headed into the house and up the stairs.
"Hey Julia," I smiled as I pushed the door open, but I saw Julia on the bed, crying.
"Julia..." I said, getting worried.
"Oh Chelsea," She sniffled and sobbed, "Elliot's leaving for the city tonight."
"That's not a good thing..." I said perplexed.
"And he's not taking me with him..."
"Oh Jules, does your mam know?"
She shook her head.
"What about Vaughn?"
She shook her head again.
"I'll be back in a minute..."
"Chelsea... Where are you going?"
I headed down the stairs two steps at a time, Vaughn looked up from the cat he was petting.
"Where are you going with that determined look on your face?"
"Just shut up and go comfort Julia."
He looked about like a deer in headlights then slowly walked up the stairs.
I fast-walked over to Taro's house, "Where's Elliot, how could he be so inconsiderate? Julia's in tears..."
Felicity looked confused, "Why what happened? I would have thought that she would be happy she was going to the city..."
"Elliot's not taking Julia with him; he told her they just weren't suited for each other."
I headed over to Julia's house with Natalie and we had a girly sleepover together.
Authors Note:
I told you I'd get the chapter up soon. It's quite a short one and is not necessary but it's just a filler chapter. Please rate and review! Thank you!
I do not own Harvest Moon.
