**Sorry about taking so long for the last chapter. And for it being so boring and unexciting. I will try to fight through the writers block. Anyway, here's a new chapter. Love you guys.

Chapter 26:

We Don't Fight Fair.

Isaac twirled Adveana around her room. She was giggling uncontrollably as he stopped to hold her close to his body. "I love you Vee." She felt as he moved the hair away from her face, looking into her deep brown eyes with a smile. "I love you too Zicks." He leaned down to kiss her, but stopped.

She saw that there was pressure around his throat. His neck was being crushed before he let her go. She didn't fall though. Adveana was back on her feet before she realized her hand was being held up to him. She tried to stop, tried to put her arm down, but it wouldn't budge. "I.. I thought you.. loved me Vee?"

She thrashed, and tried to control herself, but she couldn't. She was watching herself kill her boyfriend, and she couldn't stop it. Adveana felt as someone else's hands started to shake her violently. "Ana, stop. ANA, wake up!"

Adveana opened her eyes to find Stiles looking at her, terrified. She pushed herself into his arms and felt as her body left the bed. "I killed.. I killed him.. He's.. he died.. I.. I'm a monster.." Stiles rubbed he back and she noticed that everything in her room, had moved. All of it was up the air. Even Stiles.

"It was just a dream Ana." He frowned as his friend broke out into sobs. She hugged him closer as she lowered them to the ground. Everything else fell with her. "You should talk to him. What happened at the motel, it.. it wasn't your fault." She shook her head and bit her lip. "I'm afraid."

Stiles pulled her back and sighed. Adveana saw that his usually dark eyes, were darker, more sleep deprived. He was tired, and it must've been late. "Can, I.." She cast her eyes downward and he pulled the covers back on her bed. "I'll stay here, because I'm not about to clean my room." She gave a saddened giggle and laid beside him.

"Isaac is going to kill me." He mumbled under his breath. Adveana used her power to get him to wrap one protective arm around her. "Just don't let me have nightmares. Please..?" Stiles nodded and watched as his best friends eyes slowly began to flutter close. "Just don't let him kill me.." Adveana gave him a weak smile before slipping into a peaceful oblivion.

~! #$%^%$# !~! #$

Shutting her locker, Adveana looked up at Jess. "Stiles has been super attentive to you lately. Anything I need to know about?" Jess looked down at her and raised a brow. "I haven't been sleeping lately. Screaming nightmares. He's making sure I'm ok."

Jess looked at the girl closely before speaking softly. "Dreaming about your parents again?" Adveana shook her head furiously before letting out a scared giggle. "NOOOO.. More like.. supernatural demons and what not kind of dreams. Too many scary movies before bed." Adveana leaned against her locker and ran her free hand through her hair.

"It's like, I see things.. Myself killing people. And it's scary because I know it's not real. I know it's a dream, but I can't wake up. I try so hard, but I just can't. Usually, I start screaming, and Stiles wakes me up. So, if he's being attentive, it's because I don't know what's going on in my head and he's the one witnessing first hand as I fall completely apart."

Adveana gasped for air as if she was running out of it, tears falling from her eyes. Before Jess could react, Isaac took her hand and led her away from everyone, and into an empty room. He held her close to his chest as she began to sob.

She smelled strongly of Stiles, but he wasn't going to let that bother him. He couldn't be there since that night at the motel. She wouldn't let him get near her. She was afraid. "I killed you in my dreams. You died. By my .. hands.. Not even my hands. I killed you with my power." She sobbed harder into his chest and he kissed the top of her head.

"Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is going to happen to me. I know you'd never do anything like that on your own. The Darach is using you. It's using your power." He pulled her back at arms length and bent down to look into her eyes.

"You're stronger than this. And I love you for that. I love you for every right thing you say, for every right thing you do. For knowing when you're wrong and loving me so much even after I've made my own mistakes." He leaned in to kiss her, but Adveana pulled back further. "Why'd you stop? Keep going. I still feel scared."

Isaac chuckled and gave her a small smirk. "I love how you make this cute high pitched squeal when you wake up in the morning. How when you stretch, your body still fits perfectly in my side. God, your hair is this perfect kind of messy that just, makes me want to pull you down and kiss you. I love the way you look at me, like I'm your savior. Despite, everything that's going on around us, you still look at me like that day we first met."

His lips met with hers as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Isaac lifted Adveana off the ground and tasted her. "I love the way you make me feel safe, always Isaac. But I'm so scared that I'm the monster in human skin. I'm afraid you're the one that's not safe. No one is, not around me."

Isaac kissed her again, rougher, pushing her against the wall. "We're not going to break. If Stiles, human Stiles, is ok around you, so are we." Adveana used her power to push him back, her body pressing against him. He smiled at her and ran his hands through her hair, pulling her head back. "See? No harm done." She let out a small moan as he kissed her exposed neck. "How long has it been Vee? How, fucking long?"

Adveana felt as something pressed against the inside of her thigh. "We're in school Isaac. We, we can't." He smiled as he let her go to look at him. "Are you going to fight it..?" He slipped his hand under her skirt and listened as her heart sped up. She spread out in a grin and shook her head as he dug his fingertips into her soft skin.

Isaac leaned down and nipped at her neck, causing her to let out another soft moan. Her legs wrapped around him as he pulled her head back, running his tongue along her collarbone. "Ok, just, a quick.. a quick minute.." Isaac looked at her with a sexy smirk and growled playfully. "I'm going to need more than a minute…"

Adveana don't know what happened after that. In a quick second, he had her pressed against the wall. She could feel as he entered her with one quick thrust. "Fuck.." She didn't want to admit that it had hurt, but it was the kind of pain her body craved. Isaac's eyes flashed golden brown at her as he pushed himself deeper within her.

Isaac felt as she moved him further up the wall, above the door. Her nails dug into his back as she let out a gasp. He held her hands above her head, as he leaned down and nipped the tops of her breasts. "Too, fucking, long Vee."

A switch flipped inside both of them. Adveana's eyes flashed at him as he looked over her body. "Harder Isaac." He didn't need to be told twice as he let it all go. Isaac released her hands and dug his nails into the wall instead, using it to help him thrust harder.

It took everything Adveana had not to scream out in pleasure. It really had been to long since she and Isaac had a moment like this together. She needed it, she needed him. She matched her breathing to his as she felt her body built up.

Isaac felt her walls tighten around him as she had her release, convulsing as if it would be the last. It sent him spiraling into his own release. Just as he was about to pull out, the door came open. Adveana felt as Isaac placed his hand over her mouth. She moved them higher up and held their breaths, watching as the teacher scanned the room before walking out.

They waited a few moments before gently falling to the ground. He looked at her and watched as she adjusted herself before smiling up at him. "That was close." He moved the hair from her face and kissed her softly. "Let me in tonight." Adveana opened the door and turned to him with a slight smile. "Eh, I'll think about it."

She stuck her tongue out at him playfully before walking into the now empty hallway. Adveana quickly made her way to class and sat down. "Ms. Mionette. Late. You better have a good excuse." She looked up at her teacher and smiled sadly. "My biological father called me. It was a personal call." The teacher eyed her carefully and Adveana raised both her brows. "You can call him if you want."

There was silence in the room before the teacher turned back to the board. "You can't use that excuse again. You only have one chance in this class." Adveana nodded, despite the teacher not looking at her anymore. She sighed and turned her attention to the door.

She saw as Isaac walked past, his face spread out in a smile, as if he were taunting her to join him again. She looked away quickly, and felt as her face grew warmer. The butterflies that she thought she killed, fluttered once again.

"Damn you Lahey. Stop. Being. So. Cute." She mumbled to herself. Adveana glanced up and saw as he walked past again. He was teasing her. As if there weren't something bigger out there for them. For a split second, she felt like a normal teenager. She let out a laugh and watched as the class turned to her.

"Uh, lame joke I remembered. I finally got it.." Adveana ducked down in her seat and felt as her phone vibrated. "I love when your heart speeds up like that. I love you." She smiled at the message and got back to work. This was going to be interesting.

! #$%^%$# !~

Adveana laid back in the seat of Stiles' jeep and sighed softly. "Don't look so upset that you're hanging out with me." She glanced at Stiles and smiled sweetly. "I'm not upset. I'm just, really tired." He gave her a knowing look and raised a brow. "You? Tired? Never. You've slept like a rock the past few days, you know, once you get past the night terrors."

He tried to smile at her but he fell a little short. "I'm getting over that, a little.." She looked down at her fingers and spoke softly. "Thank you Stiles.. For.. for everything you've done lately. I don't know if I'd even be a functioning human right now if you weren't there."

Adveana felt as he placed a hand on the top of her head and chucked a bit. "Shut up Ana. I know you think I'm pretty awesome." She smacked his hand away with a giggle and they pulled into the Stilinski driveway. She jumped out and looked at him. "Don't, get into trouble with them ok?"

Stiles nodded and saw the worried look in her eyes. "I'll be ok. Don't worry." She tilted her head to the side and opened her eyes widely. "REALLY, I'll be ok Adveana. You could come with us, maybe keep awesome Stiles safe?"

She shook her head and closed the door before waving and watching him drive off. They had more important things to do, and for once, she didn't feel like participating. Deaton was missing and they needed to find him. Adveana sighed. She was no psychic. She was just, Adveana.

She walked into the house and made her way to her room. She threw her bag into a corner, and stopped it before it hit the ground. "I have to stop, and breathe, and control this. Or else, I lose it. And they have to take me down. Do I want that? Do I really want to die?!"

Adveana was practically screaming at herself in the empty house. "Am I ready to die? Like the people in that book?" She turned and raised the book from its place on the table. "Why did I read from you? Why couldn't I push you away like I did before?" Adveana let both things fall and growled to herself. "If I could just, control myself."

She fell back into her bed and picked up her phone, calling her dad. "Adveana, what did you do?" She giggled and heard as her father sighed on the other end. "Nothing, yet." There was an awkward silence as she fumbled around with the buttons on her shirt. "I keep having night terrors." There was another awkward silence as her father thought for a moment.

"Who dies?" Adveana felt as her heart stopped. I guess it was true. She was turning into what her mother became. Getting surrounded by the darkness before she was able to find the light. "Isaac." Another sigh escaped from her father's lips before he spoke. "He'll be fine. I was worried about the human kids you hang out with."

Jared chuckled and spoke in a kind voice that reassured her. "You're having these dreams because you're doubting yourself. You're strong Adveana." He paused for only a second before speaking again. "There's something that you're hiding from me. More information. What's going on?"

Adveana bit her lip so hard, it started to bleed. She couldn't tell him. He'd take her back to New York to keep her safe, and she wasn't a person who would go down without a fight. Or miss the fight for that matter. "SPEAK." She took in as much air as she could before speaking quietly.

"There's, something in Beacon Hills. And, it's killing us off. Well, the werewolves.." She stopped, not wanting to tell him anymore than she had. "And it's controlling you, isn't it? It's tapping into your powers?" Jared waited for an answer, but her silence gave it all away.

"I'm coming to Beacons hills." She sat up and everything rose up with her. "No! Please don't take me back to New York. I grew up here. I don't want to leave it." She felt her heart sink, knowing he would do that to her. "I'm not going to bring you back. I'm going to teach you how to block your mind."

There was shuffling on his end while she settled down. "We have a link Adveana. What we are, what we do, it's all connected. Whoever it is, they found your , line, so to speak. You just need to learn how to hide it." Jared mumbled some profanities under his breath and it caused her to giggle. "I knew I forgot to teach you something. I honestly didn't think you'd need it. Beacon Hills seemed so, uninteresting."

She smiled to herself. "Besides the wolves right?" It was his turn to chuckle as he spoke. "Yes, besides the wolves. I'll be there in a day or so. Try not to get yourself into trouble. That school of yours called me, asking if I discussed personal matters with you that resulted in you being late to class." Adveana's face flushed as he kept speaking. "One time only Adveana. You can't use me as an excuse all the time."

Adveana moved things around before looking down into her lap. "I'll be waiting Dad. I'll see you soon." He hung up on the other end and she got out of bed. "I should train at least." She went to throw on her shoes but stopped. The last time she trained alone, she was almost killed by an alpha. She had to find something else to do. Just as she was about to give up and do homework, her phone rang. Jess's name appeared on the screen and a smile spread across her lips.

%$# ! #$%^%$# !

Jess wrapped an arm around her smaller friend and hugged her tightly. "I missed our shopping adventures." They walked around the mall, drinks in hand as they casually walked into a random store. "I know, I spend way too much time and energy with Isaac and the boys. I forgot what female companionship felt like."

They giggled and Adveana held a dress up to her body. "Jess? If I changed, would you still think of me as me?" Jess turned her blue eyed gaze to her friend and tilted her head to the side. "I've been with you through a lot of shit Adveana. Where the fuck would I go?" She smiled at her and turned her attention to the rack in front of them.

Adveana fought the urge to tell her everything. What she's always wanted to show her friend. All the things she could do. But like Stiles said, not knowing protects her. And she didn't want anything to happen to Jess.

They shopped until they had too many things to carry. They walked out to her car and jumped in, playing music too loudly as they pulled out of the parking garage and on to the road. Adveana glanced over to her friend, noting how they both smiled too widely.

For the first time in a long time, she felt carefree. Everything was back the way it used to be. One of their favorite songs started playing on the radio and Jess spread out into an even bigger grin. "I haven't heard this song in forever! Turn that shit up!"

Adeana did as she was told, leaning over and turning the music up as loud as they both could stand it. As she leaned over, she didn't see the large beast barreling towards them. They both felt as it slammed into the car, sending it over the edge of a large hill.

It caught Adveana off guard and she felt as her head slammed against the dashboard. Pain shot through her body, as she let out a scream. Jess screamed with her, and the shattering of glass was the last thing she heard as they tumbled down the hill, fading into darkness.

When Adveana woke, she was outside of the car. Her body was propped against a tree and Jess was crying. "What are you?" Her head was pounding. She tasted blood in her mouth and she groggily looked down at her hands, finding that it soaked through her clothes. She was bleeding from somewhere and she was in too much pain and confusion to figure out where.

"Adveana. Adveana, you're ok!" She looked up to see Jess holding her side, black blood dripping from an unseen wound. "Oh, the little druid is finally awake. I'm surprised you didn't use your power to protect yourself." Her black eyes finally focused, and Deucalion stood there, his arm around Jess's neck.

"Druid?" Jess looked at her confusedly. "What is he talking about Adveana. What's going on? What powers?" Adveana tried to get to her feet, but she couldn't move them without crying out. "LET HER GO!" She grit her teeth and tried to push him away, but her powers failed. She was too focused on the pain to do anything else.

"Tsk, tsk tsk. She doesn' t know does she? She doesn't know the power you hold? What you've been keeping from her? What we are? What, YOU are?" He held his grip around Jess a little tighter and the girl cried out in pain. "Show her. Show her what you can do."

Adveana growled and pushed through the pain. She was going to protect her friend no matter what the cost. She wasn't going to lose someone else. "I SAID, LET. HER. GO!" She held her hand to him and lifted them up. She was going to pull him from Jess one way or another. "ADVEANA!"

Deucalion put his hand over her mouth and smiled at the smaller girl. "You don't want to do that girl. Look at her? Don't you see something, different?" Adveana placed them back down and looked her friend over. Black blood.

She had noticed it before, but it didn't dawn on her. "You.. you bit her?" Jess nodded and Deucalion smirked. "I thought it might help. It's a shame she didn't take to the bite though." He moved his hand from Jess' mouth and Jess spoke. "Is this the change you were talking about? Is this what you thought I wouldn't understand?"

Adveana nodded and tears started to pour from her eyes. "Adveana, I would've stuck through it no matter what. You're like my sister.." She winced in pain and Adveana could see it. The bite was taking her life. It was killing her.

Deucalion tossed Jess' body to her and she slowed her down before catching her in her arms. She held her protectively and looked at him. "What do you want? Why are you doing this to me? I haven't done anything wrong. JESS, didn't do anything wrong. She didn't even know. Why? Why are you taking her from me?!"

She was raising everything around her in her fury as she tightened her grip on her best friend. "You tell Scott, he joins my pack, or everyone dies. And sweetie, you're next." Adveana grit her teeth as Jess writhed in pain in her arms. She wanted to rip him to shreds, but she couldn't. The others would come after her, and she'd never be safe.

"What about Jess? You're just going to bite her and leave? Let her die here? Like this?!" He walked over to the wreckage that was Jess' car and went through it, finding what he was looking for. "Oh no." He tossed her a cell phone and smirked. "Deliver the message." Before Adveana could speak, he ran off.

Jess looked up at her, feeling as the tears from Adveana's eyes fell onto her face. "Tell me. Tell me what he was. What is he talking about?" Adveana held her close and closed her eyes. "He's a werewolf. He was going to turn you, but you're not strong enough, and you're body is rejecting it. You're dying Jess. And I can't stop it."

Jess wrapped her arms around her friend and smiled, despite the pain. "Is that why you hang with the boys? Because they're wolves? Because they know what you are?" Adveana nodded, unable to speak. She realized why he left them there, alone, and bleeding. "Can, you end my pain?"

Again, she nodded silently. "Please don't make me do it Jess. Please don't make me.." They were both sobbing by now. "Don't let him win Adveana. Never, let them win." Jess' blue eyes looked at her friend pleadingly and Adveana held her tighter.

"I love you Jess. " Jess smiled and wiped away her tear. "I love you too Adveana. You're the little sister I never had." She closed her eyes and Adveana put a hand over her chest. "I'm sorry." Jess smiled, tears slipping past her closed eyes. "It's ok. I forgave you the moment you woke up." Without much thought, she applied pressure around Jess' heart.

Jess didn't feel as it stopped. She didn't feel the pain. She didn't hear the loud screams of her best friend as she held her body. She felt none of the tears that landed on her face, or the apologies her friend whispered between sobs.

Adveana didn't know how long she sat there. It must've been hours when she saw her phone ring. "Adveana, where are you? I saw the note you left saying you'd be out with Jess, it's almost midnight." Adveana sobbed into the phone and worry spread across The Sherriff's face. "She's dead Papa. She's dead, and I couldn't help her."

He grabbed his keys and jumped into his car. "Where are you? What happened?" She held Jess's body to her own and sobbed harder. "We were driving back home. The only road home and something… something hit us.. the car… Papa.." She dropped the phone and all he could hear was the sound of her sobbing.

Adveana sobbed into her best friends body. It would be an hour before the Sherriff and a few other officers found them. Adveana clutching a lifeless body. Their clothes blood soaked and sticking to their bodies. Her face was as blank as the days after finding her parents were murderers. "We just found Deaton. And now this?"

It didn't take long for Stiles and Isaac to be on the scene. What they saw, scared them. They knew what had happened. But they didn't know it would happen to a girl that already went through so much. "They're not fighting fair." Adveana flashed her eyes at them. Her face twisted up in a painful smile. "Wolves never do.."
