Thor flew to the edge of the ice, landing on his stomach. Mjolnir anchored him to sturdy ground, as he grasped Gungnir's pole, with Loki on the other end. This was a scene all too familiar for him, "Brother." Loki gasped.
Thor grunted, "Hold on Loki." He pulled the staff up, with Loki clinging to it with all his strength, though his wound taxed him greatly. Thor trembled as he saw his brother's grip falter for a moment. Loki cried out as he scraped along the ledge, aggravating his wound. He gasped, seeing a frost giant loom over Thor with his club raised.
Natasha leaped up onto the creature's back, jabbing two needles from her cuff into the frost giant's neck, electrocuting him. The giant dropped his club and staggered around, until an arrow pierced his heart.
With a final grunt, Thor lifted his brother up onto solid ground. Loki looked at him wide eyed in both pain and astonished gratitude. Thor wrapped his arms around his brother, embracing him. Loki put an arm around his brother. Their auras glowed, and soon Loki's wound was healed.
Jane sighed with relief, just as Sleipnir neighed suddenly. She turned, to see Sleipnir reared, and pawing at a frost giant brandishing a spear. A scream of rage tore from Jane's lips, as she pulled a dagger she had kept strapped to her thigh, and ran straight for the frost giant. The giant turned and pointed the spear at her. Jane slid just under the blade, and slashed the giant just behind his knee. The frost giant howled as he fell, swinging his spear in a circle. Jane took a hit across her middle and hit the ice with a thud. The frost giant then swung the spear in a great arc; Jane rolled to her side, dodging the blade.
She quickly gained her footing as Loki had taught her to do, and threw the dagger. Her aim was true, and it buried itself up to the hilt in the frost giant's throat. She bore a grim smile on her face as she took her dagger from her adversary's throat. She faced her children, who were nestled against Sleipnir's neck and shoulders.
A bellow shook the ice, and a giant Frost Beast pawed at the ground, scoring the ice with his claws. Sif leapt up and stabbed her sword into the beast's shoulder. Steve in his Captain America outfit socked a frost giant in the mouth. Bucky stood at Captain America's back, throwing a knife into a frost giant's skull, "Hangin' in there alright?" He asked his dearest friend.
Bucky shouted as a frost giant charged him and tried to grapple with him; Bucky greatly outmatched him thanks to his bionic arm, and soon pinned the giant to the ground and snapped his neck, "Doing just fine!"
Barton shot an arrow into the frost beast's eye, making it roar and shake its huge head in pain. "Ha-ha!" Hawkeye shouted triumphantly, turning to swing his bow into a frost giant's abdomen and stab an arrow through the giant's eye.

Tony flew straight for Laufey, landing a solid punch. Laufey shook his head to clear it, forming an ice spear in his hands, and throwing it at Tony. He shattered it with a blast of energy, and flew at Laufey once more. Laufey backhanded Tony into a glacier, turning toward Sif, who was charging him with her double sided sword. With a laugh, he threw an ice spear at Sif who deflected it with her shield, running until she was a foot away from him, and attempted to slash him from his left hip to his right shoulder. Laufey turned at the last moment though, and only received a gash on his upper arm from elbow to shoulder on his right side. Sif dashed away before he could strike her, letting Thor bash him with his hammer, sending Laufey careening off his throne.
Jane kept running and throwing her knives, fending off the frost giants that dared to come near her children. She had the mindset of a mother bear, protecting her cubs no matter the cost. "Sleipnir GO!" Jane shouted,
Steve panted. Even though he was a Super Soldier, he was still fatigued from the battle. He turned slightly to Bucky, pressing his broad back against his best friend's, "Bucky, if we live through this, I'm gonna kiss you."
"I was thinking the same thing." Bucky replied, grasping Steve's hand. He treasured the warmth in it, squeezing his hand gently before letting the rush of battle take over again, knocking down another frost giant.
Loki used Gungnir to slash a Frost Giant's throat, twisting around as he spun it around to thrust the spear end into another Frost Giant's chest. All he could think of, was saving Jane and his children, avenging their kidnapping, and taking out his anger and hatred of his biological father out upon Jotunheim. He showed how deep his rage went, ignoring multiple wounds to his torso, arms and legs. He fought like a beast, snarling and roaring as he slew giant after giant, working his way toward Laufey. He watched as people who he had once seen as enemies, take up arms at his side and fight for his cause. This was a day that would not be wasted. This was a battle that would not be lost.
Bruce meanwhile, was hiding behind Laufey's throne, trying to not get killed. He figured no one would think to find him there, and so far, no Frost Giant had come to kill him. The cold still forced his heart rate to remain too low for the Hulk to come out and fight, even though it was pounding in his chest. He concentrated on it, focusing his entire being on his pulse. He reached for his anger, deeper and deeper within himself. He pulled out sorrow and regret, confusion and anger. He closed his eyes, focusing. A jarring impact in front of him startled him out of his concentration. A huge Frost Giant lumbered toward him. His heart rate rose. 'Not much longer now. Come on Big Guy.'
Bruce felt his skin grow cold, and then get hot, and he could see his fingertips turning green. The transformation had begun. It was painful, but necessary. His skin grew hotter and hotter where the colour began to change. The Hulk was taking over.
His shirt was tearing apart, and his pants stretched out to accommodate the Hulk's gargantuan body. His mighty bellow rang out across the frozen land, before he knocked the attacking Frost Giant's head clean off. The beast had been unleashed.
