"Prim, quickly, come here."

It had been three days since Coin had asked Prim to become the Mockingjay.

Coin agreed to let Prim have a few days to think about it. Prim knew that becoming the Mockingjay would be the final step in the rebellion, officially reigning the beginning of the war. Prim honestly didn't know what she would say. The matured and adult part of her wanted to say yes, but the child part in her wanted to say no. If she said yes, she would be able to rescue Haymitch, Johanna, and Enobaria, and finally be able to do what she had always wanted to - end the Hunger Games. But if she said no, she and her family would be left alone, but she wouldn't have Haymitch.

Prim didn't know what she would do.

"Prim, come here, Haymitch is-" Katniss couldn't finish her sentence. Prim rushed into the living room, looking around. Katniss gave her sister a sympathetic glance.

Katniss said, "Haymitch being interviewed by Caesar." Prim looked at the television.

Haymitch was sitting across from Caesar. He was dressed in blue jeans and a formal button up shirt. Prim saw a small but noticeable scar on Haymitch's right cheek, probably from the Cornucopia fight. When he spoke, Prim shivered. Her heart was about to burst, aching. Seeing him in the Capitol made her feel sick. Haymitch looked good - healthy. Caesar wore all blue, looking absolutely ridiculous.

Caesar was smiling and said, "Don't you feel absolutely lucky that you were rescued from the arena when you were?" Haymitch shrugged.

Haymitch said, "I guess. I'm not dead - that's something to be thankful for." Prim felt her eyes water a little. Caesar laughed.

"Well put, well put," Caesar turned serious, "Now, if I remember correctly, you told Panem of your relationship with a certain Primrose Everdeen." Prim's world froze.

Haymitch nodded, "Yes, I did." Caesar nodded.

"Primrose was taken from the arena - I trust that you know that?" Haymitch nodded. Caesar continued, "If she is watching, what would you like to say to her?" Haymitch turned to the camera.

Haymitch said, "Where ever you are, I will find you. Don't think about where I am right now - do whatever you have to do. Remember - whatever happens, I will always love you." Prim felt a few tears stream down her cheek. The screen went to black. Prim stood from the couch.

Prim said, "I-I need to speak to Coin." Prim walked out of the house, looking for Boggs. He was near the small spring, talking with Cody.

Prim walked up to him and asked, "Do you know where Coin is?" He seemed caught off guard, but soon recovered.

"She's with her grandmother. Would you like for me to accompany you?"

Prim said, "If you would like." To be honest, Prim didn't remember where Coin's grandmother's house was - every house looked the same.

Boggs walked next to Prim, gun in tow. Prim sniffled, wiping her eyes. She didn't want Coin to see her like this. The tears finally stopped.

Boggs said, "You saw the interview." It wasn't a question - more like a statement.

Prim nodded and said, "Yes I did." Boggs kept quiet the rest of the walk. They arrived at the house ten minutes later.

Prim said, "Thank you." Boggs shook his head.

"It's not an issue," Boggs continued, "For what it's worth, when we go on the rescue mission to the Capitol, I'll be the first to sign up." Prim nodded.

She gave him a small smile and said, "Thank you, Boggs." Boggs nodded, walking away. Prim sighed, walking up the porch steps. Prim knocked on the door. After a few seconds, the door opened, revealing Coin.

Coin said, "Hello, Primrose," she stepped outside, closing the door behind her, "I trust that you have come to your decision?" Prim nodded.

"Yes, I have," Prim continued, "I will become the Mockingajay," Coin gave her a small approving smile, "but," Coin became serious, "But I have a few conditions. My mother and Katniss will be top priority during an attack. We will plan a rescue mission for all of the tributes, including Annie, Finnick's wife, that was taken by the Capitol," Prim knew of how Finnick was taking the news, "Finally, I must be the one who kills Snow." Coin stood, frozen. Prim only had three requests - three of which Coin could carry out.

Coin finally spoke.

"That won't be a problem. But before I agree, I have a few conditions myself," Prim nodded, "You will support the rebellion. Everything you say and do from now on will be for the good of my people and your family. You will act like the girl you were in the Games. You will have to promote the rebellion. The mockingjay represents freedom and rebellion against the government. You will carry out those acts - as your life depends on it." Prim nodded.

Prim said, "I promise." Coin gave her a small smile.

"You are officially the mockingjay."
