June 21st- It has been a while since I have written in Luna's diary. It has been half a year since Discord was sealed up again. We've re-enforced security measures around it, just to be safe no arguing groups surround it. Even though Discord's away, many strange things have happened. For one, Applejack has rightfully given the farm to her brother and sister. Caramel has come with her to settle a farm just outside of Canterlot; maybe she's worried about things here? Pinkie Pie has also come here, establishing a sweet shop and leaving Sugarcube Corner to the Cake Twins. She's pretty sure they can handle themselves, and if not, she's leaving them with some relatives.
The animals in the Canterlot Castle Gardens, though changed back, have not yet reappeared. This may be due to the fact that they probably died, as they were not immortal. Luckily, Fluttershy has come in to handle them. Most seem to be flocking back, though some are more stubborn; that's where the Stare comes in. Rainbow Dash is spending time here, with Soarin' in his getaway house. Thing is, they've been spending a lot of time there. Wonder what they're up to… Eh, it's not important. The regenerated Rarity has been taken to an orphanage, where she'll be taken care of since I cannot care for her at the moment.
My husband, Prince Fire Dawn, was found in the desert near Appaloosa. Discord had sent him to business all over the place, leaving some nasty scars on his memory. But with his father's music, and the kingdom restored, these are all fading memories. Besides, he knows he didn't really have much influence over his actions.
Princess Cadence and Shining Armor have gone back to ruling the Crystal Empire. Most Crystal Ponies survived, but some were in very rough condition. During the past few months, Cadence has been getting her students used to a new equine life. When their lessons were finally over, she let them settle down. Turns out, if they're going to start anew, they want to start far away. Luckily, I have some ties in Saddle Arabia, where multi-colored zebras are common…I think.
In short, Equestria is back on its hooves and ready to grow once again.
Princess Twilight had finished the entry in her bedroom. She was about to place Luna's diary on the bookshelf beside her, when it fell out of place; her magical grasp was disrupted by a noise not too far off. The noise wasn't of importance, but what page the diary landed on was.
It was much further back, further than any entry Twilight or Luna before her had written. It was also near the back, as if it held secrets no one was allowed to see. Unfortunately for its writer, Twilight was too much of a snoop to not take a peek at the entry.
This child is going to come soon, I know it. Discord is expecting me to raise it with Beanpole but…I can't. It's just…not my job. I never wanted this, and the sad part is…no matter how much I deceive my brother into this sarcastic, love-hate relationship, deep down, I'll always love him. But, in the mean time, I will keep this child, for him. Twilight looked over the entry again; the handwriting was clear, neat, but the message wasn't. Was Discord or Beanpole the brother in question? Who was the person carrying a child? Well, obviously a woman…. The princess decided this was a mystery for another day, and returned the book to its proper slot on the bookshelf.
