CHAPTER 26 – OBLIGATION

Moon, Silver Millennium

Prince Endymion was meeting Queen Serenity and the Moon Kingdom council first to discuss some urgent matters that concerned their planets, so princess Serenity was asked to wait outside the room to meet him.

She walked impatiently up and down the white shiny hallways of the corridors, feeling like a trapped animal. She absolutely did not want to be there, nor did she want to meet Prince Endymion or anyone. She just wanted night time to arrive fast, to see her prince again. Usagi could clearly feel all this from inside Serenity´s body. Their souls were so close to each other that she apparently had access to her feelings. It was really strange because it felt like hearing someone else´s thoughts.

Serenity walked towards the long colonnaded open portico that completely surrounded all the palace buildings and spotted one of its fine marbled benches, which were elegantly carved with decorative volute and flower motifs. She sat down and sighed, looking at the indigo sky. Apparently, there was never really daylight in the Moon, at least in this side of the Moon. The sky just changed from a dark color of blue to a darker color of blue, with the stars always shining brightly on it.

Then, the beautiful princess took an object out of her vaporous dress. She smiled instantly. She had been carrying the music box with her since Prince Starlight gave it to her. She could not believe how amazing he was and all the love he transmitted to her… he made her truly happy. She opened the golden lid and the soft music started playing. It was a really beautiful melody, yet it had a touch of sadness. Just like their relationship, she thought. She then remembered about their conversation of last night, of their mutual wish to be together forever that was soon becoming true. She reclined on the bench and closed her eyes while listening to the music, feeling overwhelmed with happiness and anticipation.

"You look incredibly stunning under the light of the stars"

She heard a voice saying, and instantly sat up and closed the star-shaped music box.

It was actually true, the scene before the man that had just arrived looked like it had been taken out from the sweetest dream. The deep blue sky with a million shimmering stars scattered all over it like diamonds on a velvet carpet made the perfect background for the pearl white colonnades of the Moon Palace where the most beautiful princess rested half asleep in a magnificent marble bench, her golden hair spread around her shining as bright as her nacre skin.

"Prince… Endymion…" she said, looking at the person that had disturbed her daydream.

"I did not mean to surprise you. I am really sorry, princess"

"No, no, it´s fine… I was kind of… absent-minded" she answered, standing up from the bench and putting away the golden star locket.

Endymion looked at her while she did this, intrigued by the delicacy with which she treated that object.

"That was a very beautiful music you were listening."

Serenity blushed, and unable to respond, she just nodded.

"Where did you get that star music box?" he asked

"Ehhh uuuhhh… I… I don´t really know… I have always had it…" she improvised "I used to fall asleep while listening to it when I was a little child, but then thought I had lost it for many years. The other day I found it by chance in my room and decided to always carry it with me so it won´t happen again. I… really love the song it plays"

"I see…" he said, with a strange face. "I had never seen anything like it before, nor had I ever heard the melody it plays… It´s a rare object… very special"

"Really special, yes" she agreed while blushing deeply.

"Princess…" he then started "Would you like to join me for a walk through your marvelous gardens? I have heard they are superb, and would really appreciate an experienced person to guide me through them so I do not miss anything important"

"Eh?" she was caught off guard "Well… I do not know much about the gardens, really…"

"You will at least know your way through them, I should guess. I would not want to get lost"

"Ah, don´t you worry, it´s impossible to get lost… there´s a gardener like every three or four trees"

Endymion closed his eyes, sighed and reopened them. Usagi grinned inside Serenity. Even she had caught this one…

"Princess…" Endymion tried again "The gardens are just an excuse… I would only like to spend some time with you and talk and get to know each other more, if that is fine with you"

Serenity turned crimson red. What could she answer to that? She couldn´t just say no, he was the prince of their guardian planet! How rude could she be without causing a diplomatic incident?!

"Oh…" she said "Y…yeah… I guess I could spare some time for a walk…"

"That´s fantastic" Endymion said, and gently grabbing her from the arm, guided her towards the stairway that lead to the gardens.

They ended up spending most of the day together. First, they went for a really long walk through the magical Moon Palace gardens, followed by a snack and an evening at the palace´s south lagoon. Endymion talked about everything: the plants, the buildings, the sky, how beautiful everything was here in the Moon… He also talked a lot about Earth and how different everything was there, so bright and green. That attracted the princess´ attention very much, since she had not ever been out of the palace´s boundaries and did not know how the sunlight could possibly be. She asked a lot about Earth and green forests and rivers and the Sun. Endymion gladly answered all of her questions, describing it with as much detail as he could for someone who had never seen anything similar. He also told her about how life was on Earth, about their situation, about politics and about the good relationship that his Kingdom and hers had always had, how this was important for both of them and for the future of all the people living in them. In return, he asked about the Silver Crystal and its protection powers, although the princess was not able to tell him much. She had not even had contact yet with the legendary stone that her mother eagerly protected.

Serenity found him to be a very elegant man, classy and handsome. He talked like an adult, and spoke wisely about all topics. Nevertheless, she found him slightly… boring sometimes. She came to appreciate him very much, since she could see he was a very good person who cared for his Kingdom and his people, and she could clearly see how he would become a great ruler someday. But it simply was not fun around him, everything being too correct and educate for her childish unpredictable spirit. But after spending the whole day with him, she felt she had found in him a very trustworthy and good friend.

When the sky got darker again, Serenity started feeling uneasy, eager to return to her room to meet her lover.

"It´s almost night time…" she pointed out, looking at the sky during one of the pauses of their conversation "I should return now to my room or my mother will worry…"

"Of course, Princess" He said, standing up from the bench they were sitting on and offering her companion for the day a hand to help her up as well.

"Thank you…" she muttered shyly

"I had a great time today" he said

"Yes, me too. It was really interesting to hear all those stories about Earth"

"Perhaps we could repeat it sometime soon, if you like…" he ventured to say

"Yes… of course…" she answered, happy to have one more friend. Usagi inside her started to understand what her friends felt towards her when they told her that she did not understand a thing when it came to men… Now that she had matured and that she was seeing herself in third person, she could tell how slow she was. Little Serenity did not get it at all. Endymion was clearly flirting and she just thought he was a nice friend, but was giving him the wrong signals. Stupid herself…

"That´s fantastic" Endymion answered, with a charming smile "See you soon then, Princess Serenity"

"See you, Prince Endymion" she replied, curtseying slightly and turning around to leave towards her room. She was so anxious to see Prince Starlight that as soon as she lost sight of the prince of Earth, she ran through the gardens to reach her room as soon as possible.

She did not notice that from one of the semicircular balconies on the main tower, her mother the Queen was watching the scene. She saw her daughter meeting the prince of Earth at night in the gardens, and she then saw her running towards the palace, in order to avoid anyone seeing what she was doing. She smiled, amused by how her teenage daughter had fallen in love and artlessly tried to keep it secret, and satisfied to know that she had chosen the perfect man for them all.

Hikawa Shrine

Setsuna had finally woken up from her healing sleep a few hours before, to the great relief of the young Hotaru who was starting to get on her nerves because of how long her almost mother was taking to heal. It had been six long days already.

The tanned skin senshi had been on the verge of dying with the spell the rider of Death had launched at her, but had been saved by the magic in her always present talisman, that had kept her heart beating even though the Eternal Sleep had taken over the rest of her body. Then, Sailor Moon´s magic fortunately performed the miracle of bringing her back from her doomed fate.

Although she had already been awake for several hours, she was feeling quite weak and the rest of the girls forced her to stay in bed and take it easy. In small groups and taking turns, they had all been to her room to visit her and ask her how she was feeling. Setsuna felt very grateful, since she cherished every friend she had as the most valuable thing, being as she had all alone for eons.

The girls had updated her with all the information about how the battle had ended and about Galaxia´s appearance and how she had rescued them all and brought them back. They also told her about the shocking revelation regarding Seiya being her long lost son and about the guardian Kingdom of the Stars. Setsuna did not show it, but she gradually started getting worried with all this… she did not remember anything about it and being who she was, the Guardian of Space and Time, she should, shouldn´t she? She decided not to give it too much importance for the moment, and focus instead on recovering in order to get out of bed as fast as she could. But there was one other more important thing bugging her mind. Neither Usagi nor Mamoru had come to visit her, and no one had mentioned them. That was not like them at all. Something was definitely wrong.

So in one of the scarce moments she had been left alone in her room to rest, she decided to finally get up and find out. She went out of the bedroom and towards the shrine´s main room, where she could hear faint voices speaking. It was night time outside and everything was dark.

Before getting in, she listened from outside.

"Have you gone to check on them?" a voice she recognized as Taiki´s asked.

"Yes, no changes for the moment" That was Ami, she thought "Their bodies are still the same"

"Still nothing?…" asked her little Hotaru. Setsuna could feel worry in her sweet voice.

"It´s been more than a day already…" Yaten commented

"And wouldn´t their bodies start… rotting or something, being empty corpses as they now are?" that was Minako speaking, no doubt. Setsuna´s eyes widened… what the hell were they talking about? Corpses? Whose corpses?!

"Minako-chan!" Rei scolded

"Don´t worry, their hearts still beat…they are still technically alive…" that voice Setsuna did not recognize…

"Te…technically? Oh…God…" that was Yaten again.

"My… she´s always so reckless" her dear friend Michiru commented

"She just does not understand how important she is for everyone, and keeps putting us all on our nerves…" Haruka agreed with her, as she always did.

"If I had been awake, I would have never allowed them to do such thing!" Rei said, her voice sounded angry.

"My thoughts exactly! Thank you, Rei-san. But nobody ever listens to me…" Yaten added, and Rei couldn´t help blushing slightly.

"Please calm… there´s no danger, believe me" That strange voice spoke again "Usagi and Seiya are fine…"

When Setsuna heard their names, she couldn´t hold it any longer and burst into the room, her eyes watery with anxiety and fear.

"Setsuna-san!" everyone chorused with surprise, when they turned towards the door

"Where´s Usagi-san?! What has happened to her?!" she cried

"Setsuna-momma!" Hotaru exclaimed, worried for her visibly stressed relative.

Michiru went fast towards her, and with her soothing manners grabbed one of her hands and softly directed her towards where they all were sitting.

"Please take a seat, Setsuna, we will calmly tell you all the story"

"But…! Is she fine? Why did no one tell me anything before?!"

"We did not want to bother you… you needed rest" Haruka said

"Is she…?!"

"No, she´s fine… she´s just into one of her reckless crazy adventures" replied the manly senshi.

Setsuna sighed, slightly relieved. Though she still needed an explanation to the corpse conversation.

Hotaru grabbed Setsuna´s hands in hers while sitting just beside her, ready to hear the story.

Haruka was the one designed to tell Setsuna everything about it. It was the last thing in the world she wanted to do, since she knew her good friend was going to be really upset about it… but somehow the rest of them had started looking away when the time came, and she had decided to start, since Setsuna definitely needed to know.

"Well… ehmm!" Haruka cleared her throat "What… what´s been going on with Usagi is that she and Seiya are visiting the past. That´s it."

Michiru raised an eyebrow at her lover´s too brief explanation.

"Oi Haruka, don´t you think you need to develop that a little more?" Minako pointed out

"To the past?" Setsuna interrupted their exchange of looks "What do you mean the past?"

"You know… their past lives… to the Silver Millennium era" Haruka said

Setsuna opened her eyes wide.

"How… how´s that possible? Time travelling is forbidden, and no one I know is capable of that other than… Has Small Lady been here?" she asked, looking at Hotaru´s puppy eyes.

"Who´s this Small Lady?" Yaten asked, but everyone ignored him

"No, she hasn´t… it was not her doing" Ami answered, getting into the conversation.

"Then… how…?"

"It was me who made it possible"

Setsuna raised her sight towards the elegant woman sitting among them. Her skin shone like gold, and her hair was so long it curled over the floor around her slim sitting figure. She was staring right into Setsuna´s eyes with those coral eyes of hers… that… she had seen somewhere before…?

"Oh, please excuse us" Taiki said, interrupting Setsuna´s thoughts, who had been hypnotized by Galaxia´s piercing glance "This is Galaxia… You probably remember her from our last battle…"

"Uh, oh, yes, of course… The girls have told me about you and what you have done for us. I could never be grateful enough…You look completely different now, though…" Setsuna said, absent-mindedly, and then added "Have we… met somewhere before…?"

"Perhaps…" Galaxia just answered mysteriously, with a strange half smile. This made Setsuna even more uneasy. She felt like when you wake up in the middle of a dream but the second after you don´t quite remember it, even though you know there´s something there that´s almost coming to your mind…

"Well!" said Minako, fading away Setsuna´s thoughts "The thing is that, correct me if I am wrong, Galaxia has this power of teleporting whatever, and she managed to teleport Usagi and Seiya´s souls back to the Silver Millennium, leaving their bodies here"

"Wha… what?" Setsuna was more and more shocked every word she heard "Is that even possible?"

"People here are convinced it is…" Yaten commented, his arms crossed. He still was unconfident with everything regarding soul teleportation so care freely.

"You must be a very powerful senshi, madam" Setsuna said

"Please just call me Galaxia"

Setsuna´s mind was running at the speed of light. There was too much unconnected information she did not fully understand, like pieces of a puzzle floating around that didn´t quite fit.

"But…" she continued "Why would Usagi want to travel to the past, and precisely now, with our enemy still around?"

"Well… she sort of needed to find out right away something very important for her…" Minako started, blushing and with her eyes fixed on her knees.

"Something important? From the past?"

Everyone was now feeling really uncomfortable, and it was showing clearly.

"Yeeahh… well… there were some… clues… indicating that something may have been going on in the past as well between her and Seiya"

"Minako-chan!" Rei elbowed her blabbermouth friend.

"What?!" protested the blonde.

"Can´t you be more… delicate?" Rei explained. They all knew how much Setsuna appreciated Mamoru and the Royal couple he made with Usagi in the future, and these news sure were going to feel like a bucket of cold water over her…

Setsuna´s eyes widened even more in shock.

"Wha… what did you say? Between Usagi and… Seiya? In the past…? What do you mean by 'as well'? Why has he travelled with her…? Where´s Mamoru-san?!"

"Setsuna, honey, please…" Michiru came into the conversation when she felt how strong her friend´s uneasiness was getting.

"Michiru! What has happened?" Setsuna cried

"Usagi has broken up with Mamoru" Haruka intervened

"WHAT?!" Setsuna could not believe what she was hearing "But… that… that´s not possible!"

"Setsuna-san… she and Seiya are in love…" Minako explained "If you ask me, I think they always have been…"

"That cannot be!"

"Setsuna…" Michiru tried to calm her down with her soft voice "You know how she was around him… You have seen that"

"But not like that! The Queen and the King must be together! The future… The future…!" and after a pause she yelled "What about Small Lady?!"

Taiki and Yaten looked down silently, not wanting to take part in a conversation so private of the Solar System senshi. The rest of the senshi did the same thing. They did not have an answer for that one.

"The truth is that the future we visited with you, Setsuna, had Usagi and Mamoru together…" Ami started very calmly, attracting everyone´s attention. "But if you think about it… that future also had a gravely injured Mamoru and an unconscious Usagi trapped inside a crystal."

"Ami-chan…" Rei said, shocked by her smart friend´s determination.

"It´s true… the future we saw was a doomed future, full of war, fighting and death. King Endymion told us himself, and Sailor Pluto confirmed it."

Setsuna returned Ami´s look, silently.

"We have fought all this years to try to avoid that future, haven´t we? And it is finally happening. That future in which a great calamity befell Earth and all mankind was settled into a cold sleep for ages, before waking up again only to continue fighting against evil beings again… that´s not what we want for our planet, is it?" Tears were escaping from Ami´s eyes while she continued her speech.

Taiki grabbed one of her hands in reassurance.

"I am really sorry" Ami said "But this is what we were all looking for… a change in the future… how do you know the change that will save Earth doesn´t come with Usagi choosing who she truly loves?!"

"Ami-san…" Setsuna was speechless.

"We don´t… We just all have to do what our hearts feel is correct. We can´t know about how it will turn out…" Taiki said, reinforcing Ami´s argument.

"Actually you can"

They all directed their looks at that voice, coming from the golden Galaxia.

"What do you mean, Galaxia-sama?" Taiki asked

"The Solar Senshi have among them one with a very rare power. A power that cannot be equaled by anyone else" she said, and then looked directly again at Setsuna, her eyes piercing hers "If I am not mistaken, you are Chronos' daughter… the Guardian of the Gate of Time. You have the power to control and travel through Time"

"What?!" Taiki and Yaten asked in shock. They had no idea about the immense powers of the mysterious green haired senshi.

Setsuna looked down.

"That must be it…" Rei started suddenly, her mind connecting the facts together "That… disruption Setsuna felt happening in the future… the one Haruka and Michiru told us about… The future changed when Seiya and Usagi came back together" she commented in a whisper.

"Of course…" Ami agreed "That really makes sense!"

"Oh! Maybe then you could go and see how´s the future like right now… just a tiny little peek, and we will know if we are following the correct path and if ChibiUsa is still there!" Minako proposed enthusiastically.

Setsuna closed her eyes hard, tears escaping slowly from them.

"I… I can´t do it anymore…" she whispered, embarrassed

"Wha… what do you mean?" Minako asked, confused

"What we did not tell you about that day…" Michiru started "was that Setsuna almost died trying to figure out what had happened in the future…"

"What?!" The girls chorused back

"She was attacked by strange forces in the Gate of Time, and could not even reach it" Haruka responded

"Setsuna-san!" Ami said, shocked by the news of her friend losing her control over the Gate.

"I…" started Setsuna finally "I do not know what has changed or when it happened, but the truth is that before, while I controlled the Gate, I remembered about the past, knew about the future and was aware of any change happening on it. But now… I cannot even go to the Gate, and do not remember anything about other times, past or future. None of it. As if I had never had such a power. Now that I need that power most, I do not have it! I cannot save her!"

They all looked at her astonished and with sorrow in their eyes. She was their only hope to have saved ChibiUsa from the change in destiny that may mean her disappearance, and had just learned she did no longer had the power to do it. That was terrible news for everyone.

"Could it have been the enemy, perhaps?" Rei commented

"No, it has not" Galaxia intervened

They looked back at her.

"Do you know something about this, Galaxia-sama?" Michiru asked politely.

"She still has the power… only that it has most probably been blocked away"

Setsuna looked at her intensely. That woman had the clue to recovering her powers, which she needed so badly now.

"The Guardian of Time was a senshi destined to guard and protect the door to other Times forever. This responsibility belonged to you, Setsuna, as the daughter of the God of Time" Galaxia started "Since she had so much information about the past and future, it was forbidden for her to abandon the Gate or to have any contact with other living beings. As you know, it is very dangerous to know too much of one´s own future, since it can dramatically affect it. Nevertheless, when Chaos started forming his army, it was decided that you should also be awakened as one of the Solar System´s senshi, to help guard with your extremely powerful power the most valuable object of the whole Universe: the Silver Crystal, which was possessed by the Kingdom of the Moon, who you will then have the duty to protect. So you were awakened as Sailor Pluto from the Solar System. If you think about it, Pluto is not technically one of the planets of that System, but it was done so in order to make it possible to have you as one of the Moon Princess' guardians. This resulted in you having a double duty that sometimes conflicted, when you started to have relation with the Royal family you were protecting."

All of them were listening to her story eagerly. Setsuna was reliving her lonesome life, and her eyes turned watery.

"A guardian that was never supposed to have any contact at all with any other living being, started establishing relationships as a senshi. From what I can see now, eventually these relationships meant so much to you that you even abandoned your position at the Gate, reincarnating yourself on Earth in the present, like your dear friends, in order to help them. Am I correct?"

"I am… so… sorry…" Setsuna was crying now, while Hotaru hugged her strongly.

"You should not… Had it not been for your intervention on several occasions, the present would probably be very different now… Your dear friends might no longer be here, and that includes the Moon Princess…"

Setsuna raised her head in shock.

"On the other hand… since at some point it seems you abandoned your Time Guardian obligations… all your powers related to it have been automatically blocked, in order to protect the future. You are too involved in the present now. But obviously, they are still there somewhere, deep inside you."

"How… how do you know all that?" Haruka asked, amazed

"Because I was there when Setsuna was awakened and made responsible of both guarding the Time Gate and the Moon Kingdom. I was one of the ones who took that decision."

Setsuna looked at her in genuine surprise. So she had met her before, just as she suspected…

"You still do have the power, Setsuna, but you chose to be a human and a senshi and to have a family and help the Moon Princess over being the guardian of Time… it was your decision."

Setsuna was so shocked with all this information that she even started feeling dizzy.

Hotaru instantly felt it.

"Setsuna-momma!" she cried

Setsuna looked at the little girl she loved as her own daughter with tender eyes.

"Don´t worry, my dear, I´m fine… I just think I need to rest a little… See you in a while, ok?" she said, sweetly kissing her forehead before standing up and heading back to her room.

"Ok…" said Hotaru in a whisper, her sad eyes following her through the room until she got out of it.

Haruka narrowed her eyes and looked at Michiru, who replied to her look.

"We are also going to get some rest…" Haruka announced, helping Michiru up and leaving the room with no further explanation.

"What, already?" Minako asked, but received no reply "Man… do they act strangely sometimes…"

Setsuna went inside her room and after only a few minutes and without turning on any of the lights, she softly came out of it closing the door behind her.

"So you are really leaving"

A voice said, from the darkness.

Setsuna´s heart skipped a beat. She had been caught.

"Haruka-san… Michiru-san…" she said, turning around towards the voice and recognizing their silhouettes at the end of the corridor.

"You don´t need to do this, Setsuna" Michiru said

"I do… this is all my fault…"

"Don´t be stupid, none of this could possibly be your fault" Haruka pointed out, annoyed

"You heard her… She is right… I abandoned my obligation as Time Guardian to live a life that does not belong to me. I acted selfishly and forgot about my destiny to live a dream life that was never true…"
"Setsuna…" Michiru said, sadly

"I am the Guardian of Time! The lone senshi destined forever to guard the Gate! And I have used my powers to reincarnate myself to have a family and protect my friends… that was not meant to be and I have been punished for it… my powers have been taken away from me for disobeying my duties, in the moment when I need them the most…"

"You have the right to want to live a normal life and have a family" Haruka said "It is not fair for some Galaxy rulers to condemn you to be forever alone"

"But I was awakened for that purpose! I was BORN for that destiny! And now the future is messed up because no one was there to control it! I must return to where I belong, and fix everything. That´s my obligation".

"And you are going to leave everything you like, your family and all the people you LOVE for your duty?!" Haruka said, emphasizing the word love, to try to remind her friend about that someone special they all knew she secretly had feelings for… "Are you going to put yourself in severe danger because of that?! You nearly died last time you tried!" she ended, desperately

"I am aware of the danger, but I am not doing this only because of my duty…" Setsuna mused

"ChibiUsa…" Michiru murmured, and Setsuna nodded slightly

"I cannot give up on her… I cannot allow Small Lady to fade away…"

"Setsuna…" both her friends said with a sad voice. They knew perfectly the very special relationship she had with the little pink haired princess. After all, she was actually doing it for love, for the love she had for ChibiUsa.

"I would never forgive myself if something happened to her because of my selfishness. She needs me. I need to save her. I need my powers back. I have to retake my duty. Please don´t try to stop me"

"What about Usagi and the girls? What about us? What about Hotaru?... Are you leaving your family behind?!" Haruka protested passionately.

Setsuna lowered her head. She was crying.

"There´s no other way… I must save her… I am the only one who can, whereas Usagi, Hotaru and the girls have you two that will always protect them. Please take good care of Hotaru for me, will you? She is very powerful but she still has the kind heart of a little girl…"

"Of course" Michiru said

"Michiru!" Haruka scolded her

"She is leaving anyways. She would do anything to save the small princess. Let´s not make it tougher than it already is, my love." She answered to her lover

"Thank you…" Setsuna just said

"Please take care… it´s going to be dangerous"
"I will, don´t worry"

Haruka looked down, sighed, and then raised her head again with a half-smile.

"I really hope we will see you again someday" she just added

"Perhaps…" said Setsuna, turned around and disappeared in the shadows of the night.

Moon, Silver Millennium

Serenity had fallen asleep in her comfortable bed while she waited for her Prince to arrive. She was exhausted from having slept very little the night before and from spending the whole day out with Prince Endymion. Also, she was so anxious with tonight´s escape that it wore her out completely.

When Prince Starlight jumped inside her room through the balcony, he found her sound asleep, completely surrounded by pristine white cushions. He smiled at the marvelous vision of the princess he loved, so white in her white bed in her pearled bedroom. It felt like he had just entered the most charming dream.

He walked slowly towards the bed and leaned over the sleeping maiden. Only thinking of what he was about to do made him blush. He swallowed hard and leaned more deeply, his lips moving towards hers like being attracted by an invisible force. When they finally kissed, a million shivers went through his body feeling like really pleasant electric discharges. He moved away a few inches and saw how Serenity blinked softly and smiled the second after, when she saw him.

"Prince Starlight…" she said still a little asleep, with a really cute voice "… I was dreaming of you…"

This made him smirk even wider.

"Let´s make that dream come true, then"

Serenity beamed.

"You ready for our little trip?" he asked

"Always, if it is with you" she said, directing her sweetest smile at him.

"Let´s go, then" he said, not stopping smiling while he took her hand and directed her towards the balcony "Hold me tightly and don´t let go, ok?"

Serenity blushed but hugged him strongly from the waist, while nodding.

"Where are we going? What´s this fantastic place you´ve found?"

"It´s quite near here really… We are going to Earth!" He said, while launching a power that to Serenity´s astonishment surrounded them both on a blue light that suddenly transformed into a beam that left the Moon Palace at the speed of light, fading into the stars.
