So I wanted to get this done earlier, but I had a little writers block and I rewrote this multiple times. But I hope you still enjoy it even though it's shorter than it normally is. My laptop is also stupid and won't charge so if I unplug it, it shuts off and I lose whatever is not saved. Not to mention the stupid fan in the thing doesn't know how to work properly so when it doesn't need to cool off, the fan's going at full blast. While when it's overheating, the fan's like, "Nope. I'm to lazy to turn on so I'm just gonna let your computer become unbearably hot."

Ah yes, the joys of a hand-me-down laptop that was falling apart before I got it. (Thank you mom for giving me this broken piece of scrap.)

Chapter 26

Soundwave's POV:

As soon as I got word from my creations that my hopefully soon to be adopted creation was at the base and was in the brig and damaged, I immediately told all of my creations-except for Ravage-to protect Lily. I unfortunately couldn't go anywhere in case Starscream was getting suspicious of our intents. Instead I tapped into the base's security cameras and watched and listened from afar as I was still connected to the N.E.S.T. satellite. At the same time, I was trying to locate the Autobot's base, knowing the information to be important for later use when we decide to defect.

I watched silently from the satellite and gathered information. I watched silently as the Decepticons resurrected Megatron with the Allspark shard.

But I couldn't watch quietly as I received an urgent call from one of my creations.

:;:Starscream is intending to use Lily to create sparklings!:;: Laserbeak told me. :;:He had her brought to his quarters!:;:

That's all it took before I quickly detached myself from the satellite and rocketed myself towards the small planet beneath me. Making sure not to be noticed, I controlled my decent and leveled out above what the humans called clouds.

Reaching the base, I touched down and entered. I walked through the halls as if nothing was happening even though my spark was hammering in its chamber and energon was pumping at the thought of what that lame excuse of a Second in Command was doing to my sparkling. I wanted to run there and keep her safe, but I had to act as if I didn't know anything. With Megatron now alive, I had to get Knightspear and Lily out of there. Lily more so than Knightspear.

Fear suddenly coursed through me as Knightspear contacted me over the bond.

:;:Lily's in pain and she needs help! We have to save her!:;: Knightspear sent, sounding desperate. I sent acknowledgment.

:;:Laserbeak; Rumble: Converge on Starscream's quarters. Orders: Help Lily. Orders: Destroy Starsceam if necessary. Knightspear; Frenzy; Ratbat: Converge on brig. Order: Rescue Autobot front liner: Sunstreaker. Creations: Destroy any Decepticon in your way.:;: I ordered. In turn, I also got a round of acknowledgements. I ejected Ravage and we both started to run towards Starscream's quarters.

Reaching our destination, Laserbeak and Rumble arriving at the same time Ravage and I did, my sensitive audios picked up screaming. I quickly brought out my gun, aimed it at the door, and shot it. The door blew inward and I promptly marched in. My optics immediately landed on Starscream, who was sitting on top of a white femme. Her chest plates were torn and ripped off while energon leaked heavily from her wounds. Starscream looked surprised at first, but it quickly morphed into a snarl of rage as soon as he saw me.

Before he could do anything, I rushed at him and wrapped my servo around his neck. I threw him across the room away from Lily and stalked dangerously toward the SIC while my creations rushed to their sister's side to try and free her. Starscream was quickly on his pedes, glaring at me.

"What the Pit do you think you are doing Soundwave?" Starscream hissed at me in his screechy voice that hurt my audios.

"Soundwave: Protecting," was my only reply before I lunge forward and grip his wing hard enough to dent.

I slammed my fist into his face repeatedly before throwing him into the wall, making a nice Seeker-sized impression. Disoriented from the blows, Starsceam staggered as he regained his balance. I didn't give him enough time to recover before I was once again on him. This time I was tearing at his wings. He screeched in pain as the sensitive sensors were torn apart. Energon poured freely from the wounds as I continued to shred his wings. The whole time, he screamed in pain.

Then I turned him so his back was facing me, I gripped both wings tightly and kicked him square in the back. With a screech of tearing metal, I tore off the Seeker's wings and energon splattered my frame as they were ripped off, but I paid it no mind. Starscream screamed in agony as he lost his wings. Feeling as if it wasn't enough, I knelt next to where he was writhing in pain and gripped the back of his helm before slamming it repeatedly into the ground. I let out a rare growl as I slammed Starscream's helm into the ground one last time before letting go.

At this point, the Second in Command was nothing but a groaning heap on the ground as energon pooled around him. I flipped him over onto his back and proceeded to do to him what he had done to the newest addition of my family.

Ignoring his renewed screams, I began to tear at his own chest platting. I easily ripped the armor off and quickly reached his own protoform. With my own clawed servos, I pierced his protoform and dragged my servos across him till near identical marks showed, now matching Lily's. As energon weld up out of the newest wound, looking to his optics, I found he was in emergency stasis due to his injuries.

I stood up and without a second glance; I moved to were my creations were now trying to get their sister off of the berth. I noticed that they had first patched her wounds so they were no longer leaking and she had the risk of bleeding out before they moved her. I sent my silent approval as I took the much smaller femme into my arms and walked out of the room. Rumble, Ravage, and Laserbeak moved ahead of me and took out any Decepticon that stood in our way.

:;:We have Sunstreaker.:;: Ratbat told me. :;:What should we do now?:;:

:;:Orders: Meet outside side entrance. Orders: Take out any mech in your way.:;: I received acknowledgements before they withdrew and made their way to the less used entrance of the base.

After a few near misses and having to take down more than ten mechs who got in our way, Ravage, Rumble, Laserbeak, and I reached the entrance where my other creations waited for me with a barely standing Sunstreaker who was being supported by Knightspear. As soon as the Autobot got a look at the form in my arms, a surprising amount of emotion passed through the usually hard optics. The strongest being fear and pain as he lurched forward away from Knightspear to stand in front of me, shaking a little from the strain his systems were going through. He stared with wide optics as his gaze drifted over Lily's wound before snapping up to her face. I watched him silently as he reached up to touch her arm lightly, almost as if to reassure himself that she was still there.

"Lily!" Knightspear shouted as soon as he saw the condition of his sister. He moved forward to stand next to Sunstreaker, when the yellow front liner turned to him with a snarl and threatening engine rev.

I observed this silently but didn't say anything. Rather I shifted and gained the attention of the mech in front of me. I quickly but carefully deposited Lily into his arms. Sunstreaker glared but didn't object as he took Lily into his arms with a grunt. I watched as he looked down at the bloodied white femme in his arms with worry filled optics as he carefully held her closer. I filed this and his earlier reaction to Knightspear away for later observation before turning to my creations.

"Frenzy; Rumble; Ravage: Return." Said mechs transformed down and returned into the hold in my chest. I turned to address Knightspear when there was a shout and gunfire quickly following. Luckily the blasts went wide, allowing me to grab up the wounded Sunstreaker, who cried out with surprise and held the small frame closer to his, and fly away while Knightspear made a rapid transformation and drove out of there with Laserbeark and Ratbat following close behind.

"Sunstreaker: Autobot base location: Needed." I monotoned to the mech I was holding.

"LIKe frag-AG.. I'll tell-tell.. you!" Sunstreaker snapped through his broken voice.

"Lily's life: At stake."

That shut him up. He growled and sent the location to me. I frowned as I received them and looked them up. Their base was located in the middle of the Indian Ocean which meant Knightspear had no way of driving there and I could not carry him when I had this mech and my creations with me already. I quickly made up my mind.

:;:Knightspear: Order: Find human city and hide. Laserbeak; Ratbat: Order: Stay with Knightspear. Soundwave: Will find creations later. Soundwave: Must find Autobots.:;:

They each sent their acknowledgements. I closed the bond and put as much power as I could in my thrusters and sped to the coordinates I was given.

Arriving at the base, there were shouts of surprise from soldiers as I landed, alarms starting to go off. I ignored them and ran to where Sunstreaker directed me. I entered a room that looked like a medical bay and paused before ejecting Rumble, Frenzy, and Ravage and running to a berth. I put the two I was carrying down on it and picked up Lily and gently put her on the berth next to where Sunstreaker lay.

Since her wounds were worse, I started on Lily. I took off the patch and opened her chest so her inner workings were showing so I could fix the patches Knockout gave her. As I worked, my creations were keeping an eye on the doors as the human soldiers tried to get in while also grabbing any parts I needed. Fortunately, by the looks of it, when this base was built, the Autobots took precautions and made it so it was practically impossible to break in. Probably just in case the Decepticons managed to find the base and decide to attack.

Feeling optics watching me, I briefly looked up to see Sunstreaker opticing me but ignored him as I worked on a sparking wire that was dangerously close to her sparkchamber.

"Inquiry: What is Sunstreaker's relation with Lily?" I asked the yellow mech as I worked. Not surprisingly, I didn't get an answer. "Repeat inquiry: What is-"

"I he-HEard!" He spoke, voice broken and laced thick with static. "N-nONe.. of.. YoU-youR.. conssseRN, 'COn."

"Knightspear told us that you're sparkcalling with Lily," Rumble spoke up from where he stood not too far away from the doors were the humans were trying to enter.

I straightened from where I was hunched over Lily. My visor brightened as I looked at the Autobot with surprise. Said mech growled his engine at Rumble. I minutely winced behind my mask and visor as I heard something grind painfully in his engine. I quickly bent back over Lily and began fixing her knowing that one, possibly two sparks depended on her to continue to function.

After half a joor of constant working, I pulled away from Lily, knowing she wasn't at risk of her spark extinguishing. I watched carefully as fresh energon was being pumped into her systems and ran scans over her just to make sure nothing was wrong. Finding everything to be working fine, I looked to the four welds where you could see them through the yet to be repaired armor, located right over her spark chamber where Starscream had hurt her.

I growled quietly as I saw the barely visible welds. Because of the slagger, Starscream, she would forever remember what he nearly did to her. Would have done if I hadn't got there when I did.

I let out a quite vent as I watched my three creations with me jump up onto Lily's berth. Ravage shifted her arm just enough to the side so he could curl up into her side while Frenzy did the same on her other side. Rumble curled up next to her helm. Each were careful of their sister's wounds.

Turning to where Sunstreaker laid, I saw him staring at Lily.

"Sunstreaker: Do not worry. Lily: Will be fine." I reassured him as I moved to him to start working on his repairs. The mech let out a grunt before looking at me warily as I began fixing him.

"WH-whyyy?" Sunstreaker asked after a breem.

"Soundwave: Protecting creations." I watched as he turned back to look at Lily with a frown. "Soundwave: Lily's caretaker." I answered his silent question. Sunstreaker's helm snapped back to look at me with surprise. I nodded and removed a patch on an energon line and quickly stopped the leaking.

From there I worked in silence as I continued to repair him.

So I had fun while Soundwave was beating the living scrap out of Starscream. Screamer totally deserved it. And I know, why didn't Soundwave kill of Starscream? Well he's kinda gonna be important for future chapters so I can't just kill him off.

I'm not really sure if anyone noticed, but I'm sorta doing a 'what happened to Soundwave' thing since he completely disappears from the ROTF movie. So things are like, what happened during the parts where everyone disappears? I think I'll fill that in with my own ideas. Fits pretty nicely actually.

Also this should be the last POV change for a while since I hate doing them and the past few chapters have been nothing but the different views.
