Katelyn sighed as she waited. She saw him walked out of the building. She got the car seat that Milly was in and headed to see him. She walked up to him as he was stopped outside the building. She took a breath as she tapped on his shoulder to get him to turn to her. He turned to look at her.
"Well, you are someone I wasn't sure I would see again." He smiled at her. "You left pretty quick that morning."
She sighed. "I need to talk to you in private. It's important."
He nodded and they walked off to a spot nearby. "So, what's going on?" He asked.
She took a deep breath. She looked at Milly. "This is Milly. My daughter and yours." She said to him. "I thought she was my husband's but after thinking about it, I realize she's not. She's yours."
Roman looked at her. "What?"
"This is Milly." She said pointing to the baby. "And she is my daughter and yours." She looked at him. "I didn't keep her away on purpose. I had no idea she wasn't my husband's. But she isn't his. And you and him were the only people I slept with."
He looked at the baby. She had his eyes. He looked from the baby to Katelyn. "So, you and I share this little girl?"
"Yes, we do." She replied. "How do you feel about that?"
"Can i hold her?"
"Of course." She said to him. She leaned down to the carrier and gently lifted the baby out. She gently handed Milly to him.
He looked at the baby and saw himself in her. He smiled. "So, you had no idea she wasn't your husband's?"
"No." She replied. She sighed. "If I knew, I would have found you when I discovered I was pregnant. But it never even entered my mind that she wasn't his." She looked at him and Milly. "But I can see now, she's yours. But we can have a DNA test if you want."
"I think we should. And I want to get to know her."
"Of course." Katelyn replied. "We can have the test ran today. I already made the appointment with the doctor. And I would never keep her away from you."
He nodded. "How old is she?"
"Six weeks." She replied.
"She's beautiful."
"Thank you." She replied. She looked at the time. "We should head to the doctors office for the test." He nodded. They got into her SUV and headed to the doctor's office. Once they were there, they were immediately shown back. Katelyn knew the test would say he was the father. He and John were the only possiblities and it was very obvious to her now that Milly couldn't be John's.
"Well I have the results." The doctor said as he walked in. "Mr. Reigns, you are the father of this little girl." He handed them the paper with the results.
Roman looked at his daughter. "Thanks for getting this done quickly." Katelyn said to him. The doctor nodded and headed out of the room. She looked at Roman. "Do you want to come back to my parents' house and spend some time with her and me?" He nodded. They headed out to her SUV and were soon at her parents' house. She sat down by him as he held Milly. "So, what do you think about all of this?"
"Its a lot to take in."
"I know." She replied. "I wish I had known sooner than I did. But it just didn't occur to me that she might not be his. Then you would have known from the beginning."
"So, what does your husband have to say about all of this?"
She sighed. "He doesn't care." She looked at him. "I caught him cheating the other day. And I can't be with someone who will cheat on me merely because he didn't want a baby and accused me of getting pregnant on purpose. Which I would never do." She sighed. "So, I'm filing for divorce from him and he screw that whore all he wants."
"I'm sorry." He said as he held Milly.
"It's what it is." She replied. "And now that I know he's not her father, it will be a pretty cut and dry divorce." She looked at him. "So, we can go some time soon and get everything changed to list you as Milly's father and change her last name to yours. If that's what you want."
"I do want that." He replied. "So, does your husband know that you did sleep with someone else?"
"I haven't had a chance to tell him yet. I was focused on you knowing about Milly. So, I will have to have that conversation with him. He will be relieved I'm sure that he doesn't have to deal with a baby anymore."
"I hope it all goes okay."
"It will. Once everything is out in the open and everyone involved knows the truth." She replied. She knew she would have to tell John everything and a part of her was a litle afraid of what he would do.
The next day she called John and asked him to come over. She wanted to get it out of the way and the divorce going. She told Ryleigh that she was telling John and told her how the test proved John wasn't Milly's father.
"Katelyn, John is here." Her mom said coming into the sun room.
"Thanks." Katelyn replied as John walked in.
"You asked to see me." He said to her.
"Yes, I wanted us to talk about the divorce. I'm filing the papers and you will be free to screw anyone you want." She said to him.
"Alright." He replied. "What about Milly?"
"She's not yours like you thought wasn't." She replied.
"So, you were screwing around too?" He laughed. "Well, I guess I was a fool too."
"I wasn't screwing around on you. I went to a party after we had a big fight and I got a little drunk and ended up sleeping with someone else. That person is Milly's father." She looked at him. "So, you won't have to pay child support or anything like that. Milly isn't your responsibility."
"Alright. Well now that's out of the way." He replied. "What else do you want?"
"Nothing." She replied. "I don't want anything from you. I don't need anything from you. As you know, my parents have money. I don't need anything from you. We can make a clean break after the divorce is final."
"Fine." He said getting up. "I will expect the papers."
"Why?" She asked him. "Why did you cheat on me?"
"I told you because you had a baby. I didn't want one."
She sighed. "I don't believe that's the only reason. And I didn't get pregnant on purpose. I wouldn't do that. Why don't you tell me the real reason you decided to screw that whore?"
He looked at her. "I didn't want a baby. And when you got pregnant, I was shocked. I tried to be okay with being a father. And getting use to the idea of a baby. But I couldn't. So, when you were seven months and not interested in having sex with me. I found someone else."
"You were cheating for two months almost three before I found out?"
"Yes." He replied. "Katelyn, I am sorry that you got hurt and found out like you did. But I'm in love with her. And I want to be with her. I had planned on asking you for a divorce when I realized that Milly wasn't mine. She was much too dark to be mine. I felt relief that she probably wasn't mine. Relief that you had cheated on me with someone and I didn't have to feel guilty about sleeping with Nikki."
"Just leave. Once my parents' lawyer draws up the papers, we can sign them and be done with each other. Because I never want to see you again. Once the papers are signed, we will be done."
"Fine." He replied. "Oh, do you even know who Milly's father is? Or did you just sleep with him and never get his name?"
"I know who Milly's father is." She replied.
"Who?"
"Me." They both heard from the door. "Cena." He said recongizing him.
"Roman Reigns." John replied. "I never would have thought that you were her father."
"Well, I am." Roman replied. "And you can leave. I don't think you and Katelyn have anything else to discuss."
"No, I guess we don't." John replied. "I'm through with her. So, she's all yours." He said before walking out. He was glad that it was done with Katelyn. He could move on and be happy with Nikki.
