I don't own Harry Potter or Ghost Hunt, just having a lot of fun with them for a while.

Since it is taking me a long time to edit the coming case and chapters, I am thinking about slowing down how fast I update from once a week to once every two weeks, it will give me time to go through the chapters by my self.

Well, thank you all for the wonderful reviews.

Enjoy!

Chapter Twenty-Five

Case File Five – Two Sides

Part Four

Harry opened his eyes and stretched as he came round from his meditation. He slowly got up and headed towards the door to go back to the base room. He felt a tug on his magic, as thought something was pulling him to the bathroom. He couldn't help but to follow the tug on his magic and walked into the bathroom. He came to the sink and looked up at the mirror. It was as though he was being drawn into it.

Harry looked at the surface of the mirror and could see a figure within it, as thought they were walking around in the background of the mirror. It was hard to tell what it was until a face flashed up before him. It was the face of a female and it was as though she was trying to tell him something.

Harry shook his head and tried to walk away, but again what ever it was tugged on his magic trying to pull him back to the mirror. He ignored it and walked away, going back to the base room, he needed to talk to Naru about what had just happen he knew that there was something about the mirrors that had pulled him and he needed to know if the others had the same reaction or was it just because he was magical.

Harry quickly walked into the base room and could see Naru reading once. He walked over and sat down next to him, only Lin was still in the room. "Where are the others?" he asked Naru as the other teen looked over to him.

"Miss Hara has gone with Ayako around the manor too see if she could sense anything. Mai, John and Monk have also gone for a look around as well." He answered as he was just about to start reading again.

"I noticed something as I was coming here, when I was about to leave the bedroom I felt a tug of some kind." Harry started to tell him, as the words got Naru's attention. "I felt drawn, well, more like I was being pulled towards the mirror in the bathroom."

"Did you notice if there was anything strange about it?" he asked him, curios.

"Yeah, it seemed to me as though there was a figure in it, as though they were in the distance. But after a moment a woman's face appeared and it looked as though she was trying to tell me something." Harry told him, "I couldn't get any feelings from it either," he then added as an afterthought.

"So, would this be the same woman that the others have seen around the house?" Naru wondered as he got up from the chair and went over to the monitors for a moment, "Lin, bring up the video of the female spirit." He told him.

Lin quickly did so and then paused the video and enlarged the image of the females face, clearing up a little as he went. Harry walked over to the two of them and looked at the face. It was the same as the one that he had seen in the bathroom mirror. He looked to the two of them and said softly, "it's the same face that's in the mirror, when we encountered her on the third floor, I couldn't see her face very well. Need to check on something."

"Want a little company?" Naru asked him.

"Sure," Harry nodded in agreement; he wanted to see if Naru would be able to feel anything from the mirror at all.

The two of them walked towards Harry's room, and he could already feel a tug on his magic, he glanced a little to Naru to see if there was any difference for him. The older teen had a frown on his face a little.

"Does it feel as though something is grabbing you from inside and pulling you somewhere?" Naru asked him as he stopped moving.

"Yeah." Harry nodded, he couldn't help but wonder what it was that this thing was grabbing onto for Naru, since it was grabbing onto his magic, and he knew that Naru didn't have magic, since he couldn't feel it within his friend and boss.

"Let's see." Naru said as he walked into the bedroom and towards the bathroom, Harry following closely behind him just in case something were to happen.

Naru walked in front of the mirror, he could feel something tugging on his pulling him a little. He looked at the mirror, but unlike Harry, he couldn't see anything in its surface. He turned to Harry and asked him, "would you look into it again?"

Harry nodded his head and the two of them moved around so Harry was now in front of the mirror. He looked into it once again, and the same woman came forth, mouthing something to him. He shook his head a little and concentrated. He couldn't make out what was being said by her. A male face suddenly came forth, making Harry jump back in fright at the unexpected sight.

"What happened?" Naru asked him as he turned concerned dark blue eyes on to him.

"The male is there, he is yelling something, but I can't tell what it is." Harry answered him, he stepped a little closer to the mirror and had to jump back once again as an arm reached out towards him. A feeling of anger rushing through the room, as well as a feeling of wanting to kill them. "Naru, get something to cover the mirror," he told his boss in English as he kept staring at the mirror, trying to keep the spirits attention on him.

Naru nodded his head and rushed out of the room, coming back with a small blanket that was over one of the chairs. He covered up the mirror and as he did so a loud scream broke forth and echoed into the room. Harry shivered as the anger rose even more. This spirit wanted them dead, and Harry knew that it was strong enough to do so even in spirit form.

"I think we need to get out of here now." Harry said as he looked towards Naru.

"I agree, it does not sound good in here." He said as the scream carried on echoing throughout the room.

The two of them left the room quickly and headed for the door, as Harry reached the open door it slammed shut on him. Trapping the two of them into the room. Harry and Naru turned around and looked through the room.

"What are you feeling?" Naru asked Harry wanted to get a better idea of what was going on.

"He wants to kill us, the male spirit." Harry said as he opened himself up a little more and tried to find out where the spirit was. "He is still in the bath room." He then added as he found him, he rushed over to his bag, Naru following behind him and pulled out one of the two bags of herbs that he took with him. He would have to start taking that with him all the time now; he knew that he should have done so before, but he didn't think he would be using his abilities.

"Harry?" Naru questioned.

"My herbs, it helps to focus my abilities a little more." He explained a little, not wanting to tell him that the tattoos on his wrists were actually real in a sense and that they also helped in exorcising spirits.

Harry felt energy build up behind him; he turned around to see a chair afloat in the air. It flew towards them, and without thinking he quickly pushed Naru out of the way, both of them falling to the ground as the chair flew over them and hit the wall behind them. Harry looked around, his eyes widened in horror as the small table in the room came flying towards him, this time, neither of them would be able to move in time. Harry lashed out his hand and used a silent and wandless Repulso, sending the table back.

Harry jumped to his feet as Naru did the same, though the later was looking at Harry in puzzlement. Harry let his shields down a little more and then looked around, hoping to feel where the spirit was. He found it just as the energy was building once more.

Harry pulled some crushed herbs from his bag and threw them at the spirit. It screamed loudly and disappeared before Harry could do anything else. Harry sighed in relief as he heard the door click and it open.

Naru walked up to him and put an arm on his shoulder before he could go anywhere. "I want to talk to you." He said, his voice broke no arguments.

Harry turned to face him and asked him, "what about?"

"That table was heading for us, you put your hand out and then it suddenly flying backwards. Do you use PK?" He asked him as he clarified what he wanted to know.

Harry paused for a few moments, not really know how to tell him that he wasn't really using PK, but magic. Though PK would be a better way of getting away with a few things in the future if he ever needed to use magic again, "in a way. I can only do it when my emotions are high, like then, I was scared." He answered without revealing too much.

"Unusual," Naru said, "when someone has the ability to use PK and can use it to that extent, normally it isn't tied with emotions."

"I've never been able to control it," Harry told him as he put the small bag of crushed herbs into his pocket, he didn't know if he would need them again.

"You may need some more practice with it then." Naru told him as he started to walk out of the room.

Harry shook his head a little and followed him out of the room and back to the base room, where they would be telling the others to keep away from the mirrors as much as they could, and about what had just happened.

XxXxX

Harry opened his eyes and looked around himself, he was in a sitting room. Harry smiled as he spotted a familiar figure sitting on one of the chairs smiling at him.

"Hello Harry." Came a familiar voice.

"Hello Gene, didn't think I would find you in my dreams like this for a while," Harry grinned as he walked over and sat down on one of the armchairs.

"Well, I was a little bored, so I thought, why not bug Harry for a bit, since I can't do it to Noll just yet." Gene grinned back, though Harry could tell he was a little sad about that fact.

"Well, I don't mind as long as I will be getting enough rest," he nodded to the other teen, "so what have you been doing in this place? And what living room is this?" he then asked him.

"This living room is what is at my parents home back in England, it's a living room that me and Noll shared. I miss it a little." Gene said as he looked around the room, it was bright since there were a number of windows letting sunlight into the room, though the walls were made of wood, as was the floor. Along one wall was nothing but bookcases filled with books, a writing desk with two chairs were nearby.

"Its nice in here, I have to admit." Harry smiled to him as he too looked around the room a little.

"And as for what I have been doing, well talking with your mother is nice, and learning about a few tricks you have up your sleeve is good too." He grinned at the younger teen.

Harry frowned a little and asked, "What type of tricks is my mother telling you about?"

Gene laughed as he answered, "The magical kind, she told me all about the magical world, I hope I have chance to see it one of the days."

"Keep fighting and I have no doubt that you will." Harry grinned, giving even more of a reason to keep fighting and to do his best to wake up from the coma he was in.

Gene nodded and then spoke softly, "I'm not liking where you are at the moment, the male, Shiro, keeps blocking things. Especially when Natsuko tries to communicate with you. I know that she has been trying to get through to Mai since she is the more receptive of you all when you are sleeping, you being the next."

"Lets hope we'll figure this out soon enough." Harry nodded; he didn't like the fact that Shiro had shown himself to be a violent spirit when compared to Natsuko's.

"I think you should go now anyway, too much longer and you'll not feel rested enough for the day ahead." Gene smiled to him.

Harry nodded his head and got up, "next time we do this, lets try and make it a longer visit, I want to get some stories of Noll from you." He smiled as he started to walked towards the door out of the room, knowing instinctively that it would be the way out and into his normal dreams.

"Will do," gene laughed as he then said seriously, "Harry be careful with this one, Shiro is going to hurt someone if there are not careful, he wont harm the women at all, but you and the other guys are fair game to him."

"I will gene, and I'll make sure that the others are safe as well." Harry nodded his head, a serious look upon his face as he opened the door and walked through, letting his mind drift into his normal dreams.

XxXxX

Harry got up out of bed, he looked around and could see that he was alone, but there was a feeling in the room that he didn't like. He walked to the bathroom and quickly had a shower, not wanting to stay in the room much longer. Harry could feel the animosity from Shiro coming through quite strongly, and he wondered if this spirit was after him at all. He had found Natsuko in the magical log book in the library, so she was a witch, but Shiro wasn't a wizard.

Harry grabbed his exorcist bag of herbs and put them in his pocket. The energy was building around him once again, and he rushed towards the door, hoping to get out before something happened. Harry turned the door handle, but it wouldn't budge.

"Naru!" Harry called out in his mind, hoping to get a little help.

Harry turned around, not getting any answer back from Naru, he pulled out some herbs getting ready to try and get rid of him again. It hadn't worked last time, though the herbs were strong enough to paralyse a spirit so Harry could send it on its way properly. But for some reason, it wasn't working on this one.

Harry dodged to the left as a small table came rushing towards him. Harry let his shields down, once again hit with the same emotions that he felt yesterday. Harry looked round, and fell to the floor as an armchair flew over his head, smashing into the wall behind him. Now both the table and chair were in pieces.

"You will die," came a hissing voice nearby.

Harry looked around and came face to face with the apparition of Shiro. Using the opportunity he threw the herbs at the spirit and quickly drew his Boline knife, its crescent shaped blade and white wooden handle fitting into his palm easily. He flexed the curved blade around the tips of his index and middle finger, cutting them open. Bringing them up he drew a V and then a vertical line through it.

"Algiz, Protection." Harry intoned as the small trickle of blood coming from his cuts hovered in the air in the shape of the rune he had drawn, and with the words turned white and flashed, forming a shield around him. Protago wouldn't have worked against a spirit, while the runes could be used against them.

The spirit of Shiro tried once again to get towards Harry, but this time it failed. The spirit was pushed back, causing no harm to the shield surrounding Harry. He concentrated once again and called out "Naru, I need some help in my room!"

It was a second later when he finally heard a reply, "Monk and I are on our way."

Harry gave a sigh in relief that someone was on the way to help. His herbs just were not working on this spirit, though he had no doubt that this was mainly because what had happened to Shiro was magical in nature and was protecting the spirit from a magical way of getting rid of him. Another piece of furniture careened into the shield and shattered into pieces.

The door was flung open and Monk and Naru rushed in. Monk started up a chant as Naru ran over to where Harry was still encased within his shield.

"Harry, what happened?" Naru asked as a screech was heard as Monk was able to get the spirit to disappear.

Harry held up his two cut fingers and touched them to the shield, breaking it apart. He looked up to his boss and Monk who has walked over to them as soon as the spirit was out of the way. "He attacked just as I was going to get out of the room. As you can see he has done quiet a bit of damage to the room. " he answered, as he gestured to the broken bits of furniture near the door and around Harry.

"What was that shield?" Monk asked him, curious.

"It's the type of ability that I have trained in. It uses runes and blood. Also because of my diet, I am considered to be more connected to the natural magic in the Earth." Harry explained as he stood up and put away his Boline knife. He held up his hand with the two cut fingers and let his hand hover over it as he pulled off a wandless healing spell so the cuts would heal. Harry smiled as he pulled out a hanky from his pocket and wiped off the rest of the blood, "there, good as new." He said as he looked to the others.

"You have quiet a few hidden talents Harry, any more surprises in store for us?" Monk joked as he smiled down to the young teen.

"Don't know, you'll just have to wait and see." Harry gave him a slight grin, "Naru, we need to warn the others, this one really means business and I know that this spirit will kill any male that gets in his way." Harry then said to the slightly older teen.

"All right, we should get the others together," Naru nodded his head as he looked to Monk.

"I'll got and get Ayako and Masako." He nodded as he ran out of the door.

"The others are in the base room, those two went for a walk around." Naru told Harry as the two of them made their way to the base room.

The two walked in and waited for the other three to show up. Harry could see the concerned faces on John and Mai, he smiled to the two of them, reassuring them that he was fine. It didn't take long for Monk to walk back in with Masako and Ayako following him. Harry waited for them all to sit down and then looked over to Naru to start things off.

"Harry was attacked in his bedroom this morning, which means that this spirit has now attacked Harry twice. Harry, you are not to be alone, and from what has been said, I don't think any of us should be alone. Harry, you're with me. Lin and Mai, John and Miss Hara, Ayako and Monk. Stick to your partner." Naru said to them all.

"Are you all right Harry?" Mai asked as she looked towards her friend.

"I'm fine. No harm done at all." Harry smiled over to her, reassuring her that he was well.

"Right, Miss Hara, John, both of you do a walk around on the first floor, Ayako and Monk the same on the second floor. Harry and I will be doing so as well on the third floor. Each of you make sure you have a walkie-talkie with you. Lin and Mai, remain here." Naru said as he looked to each member of the group. They nodded in response and one of each pairing grabbed a walkie-talkie and then headed out of the room.

XxXxX

Mai looked around and smiled when she saw Naru, "hi Naru." She greeted the other teen as she went over to him.

Gene smiled at her, as she once again mistook him for his brother, "hello again Mai," he said as she reached his side.

"What are you going to show me?" she asked him softly, though she still wasn't sure about her abilities, but Harry seemed to believe in them.

"The young woman has had a hard time getting through to show you what happened. I think Harry may be the only one that will be able to help these sprits in the end." Gene told her as the scenery around them began to change.

The two of them soon found themselves in a stone room. Shiro and Natsuko were lying in the middle of a circle that was carved into the stone floor. A large freestanding mirror that was in the middle of the circle separated the two of them. Out side of it were two men; one had grey hair and the other one looked younger, with jet-black hair pulled back in a tight pony tail, their mouths moving as they chanted, Mai couldn't tell what the two were saying.

"What are they doing?" Mai asked as she went to move forwards, towards the circle.

Gene grabbed her arm stopping her from moving at all, "Mai, there is nothing that you can do for the two of them." He told her sadly.

She nodded slightly and watched sadly as the two figures in the circle began to glow. The mirror on both sides also started to glow as both Shiro and Natsuko turned into white balls of light. It was their spirits, they rushed towards the mirror, each of them entering on either side of it. Mai and Gene watched as the faces of the two that entered the mirror appeared on either side and began to talk, pleading to be let go.

"Now she won't shame the family and soil her blood anymore," the younger male said as they finished the chant.

The elder walked into the carved circle and took out a carving knife from his pocket. He carved something on to each side of the mirrors edge and when he finished the room went silence. He then carved something else into the wooden frame.

"there, they shall never be able to meet, even in this existence." He said as he then stood up and went to stand by the other male.

"I'll hide the mirror somewhere father," the younger sad as he went into the circle and picked up the large mirror. Gene and Mai could see the strain on the young man as he picked it up and walked out of the room.

"They trapped them in the mirror," Mai said, horrified at the very thought.

"Yes," Gene nodded his head, a small smile on his face.

"how? Why?" she murmured, not really understanding why they would do such a thing.

"Some families will do anything to make sure that a child wont marry beneath them, they took it to the extreme," Gene gave a small reason, which would most likely be the right one. "Time for you to wake up and make sure you tell the real me what you dreamed, Harry will need to hear it as well." He then told her, letting her carry on thinking that he was Naru.

"Okay Naru, I will." She smiled to him as the world around her faded away.

XxXxX

"Mai wake up," came the annoyed voice of her boss.

"Oh" she said as she sat up right and looked towards him, Harry was standing next to him, "Right, Naru. I had a dream." She said as she remembered what her 'Dream Naru' had told her.

"So she was finally able to communicate with you," Harry smiled to her softly.

"Yeah," Mai smiled, but then frowned, "How would you know?"

"I have similar dreams, but nothing from them giving me any clues as to what is going on, just warnings to be careful." He answered her as best as he could.

"What did you dream about Mai?" Naru asked her as Harry sat down in a chair beside her.

"Well, I was in a stone room, there was a circle made up of things carved into the stone on the floor. Inside of the circle was Shiro and Natsuko, there was also a mirror in the middle, it was between the two of them. The grandfather and Natsuko's father were chanting something, I couldn't tell what it was though." She began to explain. "Shiro and Natsuko were turned into these balls of light and went into the mirror." She added as she looked up towards Naru.

"Mai," Harry called gently, getting the slightly older teens attention, she turned to him and he then carried on, "did they do anything to the mirror?"

Mai looked at him shocked as she answered, "yeah, the older one carved something onto the mirrors wooden frame and then after that they couldn't talk aloud anymore. He carved something else as well."

"Mai, if I show you something would you be able to point out if they were what was carved on the frame?" he then asked her.

"I could only see one or two of them," she answered softly.

Harry smiled to her and reassured her, "that's okay, it might help me figure out what was done and how it could be reversed."

"And how would you do that?" Naru asked him, turning curious deep blue eyes to his young employee.

"I've heard something similar when I was younger." Harry answered with a small smile as he looked at the two of them. Harry got up and grabbed a pen and a piece of paper and started to draw several things on it. He nodded to himself when he had finished and then went back to Mai and showed her the paper.

She looked at what was drawn carefully, she didn't want to do something wrong and mistake one for another, "that one was one of them, though it was pointed downwards." She finally said after a few minutes of looking at the paper with nothing but runes drawn onto it.

"Tiwaz, reversed," Harry murmured as he looked at the one that had been pointed out, "could mean difficulties in communicating, if done right it would silence someone," he said as he looked to Mai and smiled.

Mai smiled back at him and then looked at the paper once again and then said after a moment, "Sorry Harry, I don't recognised the others."

"That's okay, I'm going to have a read of one of my books, I know that there should be something about the mirrors in it." Harry said as he started out of the room. Mai frowned at the fact that he was going around on his own, so got up and followed him.

"wonder if he will let me have a read of the book," Nary murmured to himself as he went over to Lin and sat down to wait for everyone to return to the base room.

Harry rushed into his room and grabbed the book he had gotten from the magical part of the library it was spelled so that no Muggle would be able to really notice the title or what to read it if they were around the book. Harry had just sat down when Mai walked into the room and looked at him with a stern look on her face.

"you shouldn't run off like that Harry, " she scolded him as he looked up to her.

"Sorry Mai, just want to read something, it shouldn't take long." He told her as he opened the book and quickly found the pages that he needed, there was only three pages for the information that he needed but it was something he already knew in one sense, but he wanted to make sure that he was right.

Harry smiled to Mai when he had finished the section and said, "well, come on then, I need to tell the others what I know." He told her as he started towards the door, Mai sighed and followed behind him.

The two walked back to the base room in silence, neither of them had anything to say at that time. Though Harry could feel that she was curious about what was going on. The walked into the room and smiled when they saw that everyone was now back from looking around the manor.

"So what have you found then Harry?" Naru asked him, as soon as he noticed that the young wizard was back in the room.

"Well the dream Mai had was of a ritual that going back around a thousand years. It sounded familiar to me because of my old school; there are a few mirrors that have voices coming from them. And talking to ach of them you can tell that they were alive at one point, and that they were souls of those that had passed on." Harry said, starting with why it was familiar to him.

"And what does that have to do with this case?" Ayako asked him as she folder her arms in front of her.

"This ritual is done when a person is very near death, it traps the soul into a mirror, not letting them actually move on to the afterlife. It is normally done to those that wish it, but it can be done against someone's will." Harry answered her, "and from what Mai described in her dream, the grandfather and father did this to Natsuko and Shiro against their wills, and as a punishment for wishing to elope. By putting them in a mirror together they would have actually been able to still be with each other, but with carving some runes onto the mirrors frame would actually stop that from happening." He then continued.

"The mirror has two side, they each went into a different one though." Mai then explained what she had seen a little more clearly.

"That explains how the carvings were truly able to separate them, if it was a single sided mirror then they would be able to meet though briefly, and it most likely would have stopped Shiro from reacting in the way he has." Harry nodded as he then added, "With the runes carved into the wood on the side it would separate them and they would never be able to even get a glimpse of each, and with Tiwaz used to silence them, they wouldn't be able to talk to each other either."

"But how do we reverse it?" Monk asked from where he was leant against the wall.

"We need to find the mirror and the ritual room that was used," Harry answered him with a small glance at him.

"The mirror would be long broken by now, or even tarnished." Masako wondered as she looked to the young teen.

"These soul mirrors can't be broken, or tarnish. All we have to do is find it and you'll see it is in perfect condition as though it had only just been made. The Ron will be underground and made of nothing but stone." He then told them, "we'll need to split up again, search for the mirror with runes carved into the wooden frame. Myself and whoever comes with me will search for the basement for the ritual room, since I know what I am looking for." He suggested as he looked towards Naru to make sure that was okay by the young boss.

"How do you know what you are looking for Harry?" John asked him a little curious.

"Potter Manor has a ritual room in the basement, and my old school has one as well. I've been in them often enough to be able to recognise the hiding of one. Since the one in Potter Manor is hidden away." Harry answered him easily.

"Manor?" Masako asked softly.

"I did say I was a Lord back in England. Well a double Lord." Harry smiled at her, "Anyway, what you think Naru?" he then asked, knowing if he didn't he would be explaining a lot more.

"I will be going with you, Harry, the rest of you split up into the parings you had before, Lin and Mai, you'll be leaving the base room this time. Also go and talk to the maids before you go looking around, they may have some idea as to where it could be, since they would have been all over this manor often enough to find an old mirror or know of a room where things would be kept." Naru told them as they all stood up straight.

They nodded their heads and grabbed a walkie-talkie for each paring and went out of the room to help in the search. Naru and Harry were the only ones left in the base room as they watched everyone else leave. Naru looked to Harry and could tell that there had been something else that he had not told everyone.

"What else is there Harry?" Naru finally asked him.

"This ritual is necromantic in nature. This is soul magic, so this falls under what I can do. I can set them free though, since I have done this before, on one of the soul mirrors at Hogwarts." He answered him.

"So you can do this one then?" Naru then asked him, wanting to make sure.

"Yeah," Harry nodded, "Just have to find the ritual room, there are runes carved into the room itself that protects those from outside elements and such. Making sure that they would be safe and no one can be harmed." Harry explained why they needed the ritual room, and that no other room would be quiet good enough.

"I understand, lets go and find this room." Naru nodded as the two of them then left the base room.

The two walked quickly down the corridor and into a side room, which had the entrance to the basement within it. They went down and shivered a little as the room was colder than the rest of the manor. Harry walked away from Naru and placed a hand on one of the stonewalls. He walked around hoping that he would be able to feel the trace of the Necromantic magic that had been used within the ritual to seal away the two souls. It always lingered but it may have been too long for it to linger any more.

Harry stopped near the far end of the wall, there it was, a small amount and Harry knew he was lucky, if they had come another month from now there would have been no trace of the magic left. "it's here, a hidden entrance." He said as he looked over to Naru.

"Open it and we'll wait for the others." He said as he nodded his head. Harry did as he was asked and quickly found the little bump that needed a small amount of magic to be able to open up.

The two looked into the room and Harry smiled, it was a stone room, with a carved circle already in the middle of the room. Harry could tell that there were a number of rune sets around it, all of them there for protection. The two then waited for the others to be able to find the mirror.

"Naru, we've found the mirror." Came Lin's voice over the walkie-talkie a few minutes later.

"We're down in the basement and we have found the room." Naru told him and then added, "we're near the far end, so bring the mirror straight here."

"meet you in a while then." Lin said to his boss.

It was twenty minutes later when Lin and the others walked into the basement. Monk and Lin were carrying the mirror between the two of them. Neither wanted to take the chance of dropping it and harming the souls that were trapped inside of it. Harry led the wait into the room, Mai gasped as she saw it and recognised it.

"Set the mirror in the middle of the circle and then step back outside of it." Harry told the two of them.

Monk and Lin walked into the circle and put the mirror down. The others went and looked at the carving of the runes for the circle. The two walked back out of the circle and looked at the stone room properly.

"What next Naru?" Monk asked as he looked to the boss.

"Harry, do what you need to." Naru said as he turned to face the green-eyed wizard.

"all right," Harry nodded, "all of you keep out of the circle and stand around the edge of the room." Harry then told them all as he gave them all a look that told them to do as he said.

Harry took out the two bags of herbs that he had brought with him, and grabbed a little from each, missing it all together. He slowly walked around the circle, using a little magic to make sure that they fell in the right place. He would need both types since this was both a summoning and exorcism in one, he would be summoning the sprits from the mirror and then sending them on to the afterlife. When he had finished doing the circle he came to a stop and used a whispered spell to move the excess herbs into the circle to create the rest of the pentagram. He knelt down between the two southern points of the start and put away his herb bags. He then brought out his athame and plucked a thistle and lily from the tattoo on his right wrist. This would be the life sacrifice that was needed towards summoning Shiro and Natsuko.

"I call to thee, spirits of Fire, Water, Earth and Air, and those that have come before us. I offer the life within these blossom." Harry started as he dropped the two flowers into the circle, they quickly withered and died as the life was taken from them. "I give blood to you to bring you here," he then added as he picked u the athame and cut his palm open. He let a few drops of blood land on the herbs, flaring them up brightly before it quickly died down, sealing the circle.

Harry then gathered some magic into his palm, a white ball of light about the size of a tennis ball, "With this last gift of magic I ask you to break the mirror and few the souls of Shiro Ito and Natsuko Kobayashi that are trapped within."

Harry sent his magic into the circle and all five points of the star lit up in different colours. As the ball of magic flew around the mirror light from each point joined with it. A sound was heard in the room, it sounded like the tinkling of wind chimes. The ball of light began to pulse and with each on the mirror began to break. There was a loud crack echoing within the room as the mirrors surface on both sides broke and then shattered into pieces as the wooden frame did the same. The shards rained down onto the stone floor as the ball of light the disappeared.

Harry and some of the others smiled as there was now two ball of pure white light within the centre of the pentagram. Te two lights slowly shifted around until they slowly morphed into the shape of a young woman and a young man. They were a slightly golden hue to the two of them as they reached for one another and held each other close.

"Thank you, all of you." Came the soft voice of Natsuko as she pulled away from her love to look at those in the room.

"You're welcome." Harry smiled at them both, happy that he was able to help them.

The young Shiro looked to them all and then let his eyes rest on Harry, "I'm sorry for attacking you, and others." He spoke softly with regret for his actions.

"Don't worry about it," Harry nodded and then said, "I think it is time for the both of you to finally be able to move on."

"Yes, it is." The two said as one as they turned to one another and held each other close once again.

"Spirits I ask one last thing of you. Guide these spirits to the other world and let them be together in death as they couldn't in life." Harry then said as the tinkling got louder for a moment as a warmth rushed through the room as Shiro and Natsuko faded away.

"they have gone," Masako said softly from behind him.

Harry nodded as he stood up and then sent a silent and wandless fire spell at the herbs, bringing a shocked gasp from the others, "Spirit of Air I ask you to take this ash and scatter it to the four winds so evil may never use it." He then said the last thing he needed to do to make sure nothing bad would happen. Each time he used a summoning circle he was opening a gateway to the other world, and doing this would make sure that it was closed so nothing could wander through it.

Everyone watched in wonder as a strong wind flew through the room, gathering the ash that had been left behind by the fire and then left the room with it. Harry turned to the others and smiled, all but Lin and Naru smiled back at him. He walked over to them and joined them all. They slowly made their way back to the base room while Naru and Lin broke off from the group to tell the Junko what they found and that they have dealt with it all for her.

"You're pretty powerful, aren't you Harry?" Monk grinned at the youngest member of the group.

"I don't think so," Harry shook his head I denial, "I just learned what to do with what I have." He added.

"the spirits that came were very powerful, so you must be as well, to be able to control them when you summoned them here." Masako then spoke up.

Harry shook his head, "I don't control them, I ask them to do things, favours for the blood and the life and even the magic that I give them each time I summon them." He tried to explain.

Monk was just about to ask another question when Naru and Lin walked into the room, stopping the older male from doing so. Lin went over to the monitors and started to unplug them all.

"We're done here, so lets pack up, we have enough time to get everything down and get back to the office before night falls." Naru said as he looked to them all and then added, "so, everyone help and get it all taken down."

Everyone nodded and smiled as they split up and left the room to get the equipment that was scattered through the rest of the manor. It only took just over an hour to have everything packed and heading back to the office to await the next case.

Hope you have all enjoyed this case, please review and tell me what you think so far of the story.
