Author's Note: Yes. I will make you all die of sadness. I am horrible. I am eternal.

I AM INFINITE.

Ratscar grinned as he told Blackstar that it wasn't me who attacked him, but the two kittypets at the twoleg house. I glared, but at least he didn't blame me.

I watched as Snowbird walked up to Ratscar and smiled at him, happy to see that he has healed all the way.

Blackstar called a Clan meeting, however, most of the cats were already there. Blackstar stood up and meowed, "I am sick and tired of these kittypets at the twoleg nest pushing around ShadowClan. We need to teach them a lesson that they won't forget. Just remember that these cats put up quite a fight though. I will bring a party of several warriors. I will not allow apprentices into this fight or upcoming queens." I saw him look pointedly at Pinenose. The black she-cat huffed and leaned against Redwillow.

Blackstar smirked and went on, "I will bring Tawnypelt, Toadfoot, Fallensky, and Ferretclaw."

"How come I can't come?" Hissed Starlingwing.

Blackstar beamed, "You have already been on at least two patrols today. We aren't going to let you head off into a fight after trotting around the woods all day."

Starlingwing grumbled and sat back down.

"You four shall leave tonight when the moon first shows in the sky. Do not underestimate these kittypets. Clan dismissed."

I sighed. How come I always have to go onto patrols? I would give anything to trade spots with Starlingwing.

Tawnypelt turned around to look at Toadfoot, Ferretclaw and I.

She grinned. "I am so ready to beat those kittypets to a pulp."

We slunk low in the shadows, and approached the twoleg nest. I had no idea what to expect from there, and since even Blackstar said to not underestimate them, I should be very wary.

"They'll come out soon." Toadfoot said quietly flicking his tail, "we just have to wait."

Ferretclaw grinned darkly, his pale green eyes glinting eagerly in the darkness. "I'm so excited to get them for what they did to Ratscar!"

I flinched at that. Maybe I should be the one torn up for attacking Ratscar.

No. He tried to murder me. I have no right to feel guilty.

Tawnypelt shushed us when two cats emerged from a cat flap on the door. One of them was a tuxedo tom cat with bright lemonade yellow eyes and a pale purple collar. The other one was a pale brown tabby she-cat with shimmering vermillion eyes and a grey collar. The tuxedo cat looked pointedly at us and he grinned darkly.

"The black and white cat is Jacques." Whispered Tawnypelt, "the other one is Susan."

"I see you've returned." Hissed Jacques smugly, "I thought that wouldn't happen in a million years."

"Seeing that you're cowards and all…" mused Susan.

I growled and dug my claws into the ground. I hated them already.

"Come out and fight us." Snarled Ferretclaw digging his claws into the dirt.

I felt my fur bristle up. I narrowed my eyes as the two kittypets smirked then darted towards us. I yowled angrily and leaped on top of Jacques. I hissed and he kicked his claws into my stomach. I winced and continued to slash at his face.

I glanced at Tawnypelt who was attacking Susan with Ferretclaw. Eventually, Toadfoot charged towards me and Jacques and shoved him away from underneath my paws and claw his flank. I hissed and bite down hard on Jacques tail. The tuxedo cat growled in pain. I watched as he lashed out a claw at Toadfoot's eye.

Toadfoot hissed in pain but he continued to fight. I backed up from the fight for a moment, and took a deep breath. Blackstar was right, these cats do put up a decent fight. No wonder he sent four warriors after them!

Then I heard a painful scream. I turned my head to Susan who was lying there on the ground, blood pooling around her neck and Ferretclaw who had blood around his muzzle. He was panting and he looked at me then back at the other cats. He blinked shamefully and looked down at his paws, now mittened with red liquid.

"Susan!" Cried out Jacques. He kicked away Toadfoot and limped over to the tabby she-cat. He bit his lip and nuzzled the she-cat. He glared at Ferretclaw and screamed, "you killed her! You killed my sister!"

Ferretclaw stepped back, his tail still, "I-I didn't mean it."

Tawnypelt shared a look with Toadfoot before sighing. Then they walked out of the twoleg nest clearing, leaving just me, Ferretclaw, and Jacques. Jacques glared harshly at the cream and grey tom with such a hatred in his eyes I didn't even know could possibly exist.

"I'll get you back some day." Jacques spat at Ferretclaw. Ferretclaw laid his ears back then sprinted away back to the camp. I glanced in the general he went and I stepped up to the tuxedo tom.

"I'm sorry."

"You all punished us for something we didn't do!" Jacques said coldly, "and Susan died." He looked at her sadly, "she was my younger half-sister. And your filthy Clan killed her."

"This wasn't supposed to happen." I said in a dark tone, "I promise, none of this was supposed to happen. Just an unfortunate chain of events."

Jacques lashed out and yelled, "just get away from here!"

I gulped and sprinted out of the area as fast I could before Jacques took my anger out on me.

Blackstar tilted his head and shuffled his paws nervously at Ferretclaw, "For once, I'm not sure what to say. Warriors aren't supposed to kill other cats, but you've killed a major threat to our Clan."

"You have to punish me," protested Ferretclaw, "I have broken the code!"

For someone as grumpy and snarky as Ferretclaw, I didn't know that he was so attached to the warrior code.

Blackstar sighed and shook his head, "I will think about it overnight." Then he disappeared into his den for the afternoon.

I walked up to Ferretclaw and said in a comforting voice, "did you get the blood washed off?"

Ferretclaw looked at his paws and shook his head. Then he left the camp to wash off his paws.

I blinked. Is there any way I could relate to the horrific feeling of murdering another cat? I have killed a fox, but that was different. I have also tried to kill Ratscar, but he's still alive.

No. There's hardly any way I could relate to Ferretclaw's emotional tear inside of him.

Starlingwing stepped up to me and sighed. "I cannot imagine what that must feel like. Maybe guilt or pride over Susan's death?" He turned around and sighed, "I'm glad I wasn't at that battle now."
