This one is a little depressing, but as Luna is an OC I feel she needed the character development.

(Also, I want to thank the user madiwadipandalover. I read all of your reviews with a smile.)

Luna parked her car in the drive way instead of the garage, not wanting to bother with opening it. She shut her car door, twirling the keys around her index finger. She walked up the long gravel drive way her estate had, and up the marble steps. Luna shoved her key in the door, clicking the lock open.

She shut the door and stood in the entry way for a moment, looking around her opening lobby.

Luna heard noises coming from the left hallway. Lazily, she sauntered over and followed the noised to the game room down the hall. Peeking her head around the corner of the open door, Luna glanced at Tony and Bruce playing video games.

Neither one of the boys noticed her, so Luna casually turned around and walked back to the lobby. She slowly sauntered up the stairs, walking to her room.

She set her bag on the end of her bed, walking over to her closet. She grabbed a pair of baggy light green cargo pants and a plain black cotton v neck shirt from her closet. Grabbing new undergarments as well, Luna quickly walked to the bathroom and started the shower.

The water was scorching her skin and filling the room with steam, but she didn't turn it down. Luna lavished her body with twice as much soap as needed, feeling extra dirty from sleeping in her stiff jeans.

She got out, dried off and changed rather quickly. Luna all together felt better. Her stomach wasn't queasy anymore, but she strangely wasn't hungry in the slightest. She still had a slight headache, the ibuprofen obviously not working. She shoved her sun glasses back on despite being inside. The harsh lights of her bathroom had upset them again, making her headache intensify slightly.

Luna made her way down stairs, walking back to the game room. She ruffled her hair with her fingers, pulling it in a side pony tail over her shoulder.

She walked in right at the moment where Tony groaned, leaning back against the couch and throwing his controller on the coffee table.

"Argg... Sorry. Looks like you're gonna have to finish this level with out me. I'm out of lives."

Bruce said nothing but chuckled a bit, his eyes never leaving the screen.

Tony sighed, running a hand through his hair and glancing towards the door before looking away. Upon seeing Luna standing there, he did a double take and narrowed his eyes at her.

"And when did you get home?" He asked, eying her hair.

Bruce looked away from the screen then, glancing up and smiling at her briefly before quickly looking back.

"About twenty minutes." Luna smiled. "Took a long shower before I came down here. Changed out of my dirty clothes." Luna walked over to sit beside Tony, Bruce on his other side. She curled her bare feet under her self and leaned on the arm rest.

"Oh yeah?" Tony made a move to swipe her glasses off. Luna jerked her head away, glaring slightly at her brother.

"Stop." Tony leaned over her knees slightly, his chest pressing against them.

"Got a hang over, huh? Huh?"

Luna leaned back more, sliding up half way, sitting on the arm rest. "Stop!" She wiggled her leg free between them, planting her foot square on Tony's chest and kicking him away with it. "Get off of me!"

Tony fell backwards, his back the back of the couch. Bruce didn't look their way, used to the siblings bickering.

Tony settled back into his seat, Luna hesitating a moment before settling in hers again. She frowned deeply for a moment before letting it fade. Her headache was not going away, and although it was staying at the same pain level it was getting very annoying.

Luna bent her knees in front of her, stuffing her feet under her brother's thighs. "You spend the night at Natasha's or something?" Tony asked, reaching to the coffee table and grabbing his soda.

"She went?" Luna asked, glancing towards the TV, watching Bruce's progress. "I didn't see her."

Tony glanced over at his sister, his brows furrowing. "Yeah she was there." He paused a moment. "Where did Loki take you?"

"His house." Luna said without looking away from the TV, absent minded taking a tiny sip of Tony's soda that did weird things to her empty stomach.

"You slept over at Thor's place? With Loki?" Tony asked, his voice bewildered.

Luna's brows pulled together in confusion as Bruce suddenly stopped moving and died. She turned her head towards the two boys, seeing them both staring at her now.

Luna raised a brow, looking back and forth between them. "Yeah? He would have had no way home if he dropped me off here so he took me there." She reached up, taking off her sunglasses and squinting ever so slightly.

Tony frowned deeply, while Bruce just stared at her blankly for a second more before looking back at the TV and went back to the main menu. He started building a new game lobby, his brows drawn together.

"He could have walked." Tony grumbled, eyes not leaving his sister's face.

"Really? Walked across the entire city? Really?"

"He said he would take you home." Tony shook his head. "He all but promised me. That-"

"Oh my god Tony," Luna laughed slightly. "What do you think happened? You think he, what, took advantage of me being drunk and we fu-"

Bruce stood suddenly, setting his controller on the table and turning. "I'm going to get some tea." He said casually, if not a little too loud so he interrupted Luna.

The two siblings looked at him, their expression the same. Brows drawn together, slightly half open lips. "Okay bud..." Tony said, flashing his friend an awkward smile. Luna looked at Bruce, also shooting him a small smile.

She watched him leave before turning and staring at the coffee table.

Luna reached forward, grabbing Bruce's controller. She started her own game, her brother completely silent beside her. He stared at the empty door after Bruce.

"By the way, I slept in his guest bedroom, alone, and he was a perfect gentleman." She paused slightly before adding; "Jerk." Luna muttered. Tony said nothing. She glanced over at him but he was now staring absent minded at the floor.

"You okay?"

Tony glanced up at his sister, shaking his head and flashing her a grin. "Yeah of course." He reached forward, grabbing his half full coke. "I'll be right back. I'm going to fill this up again."

Luna raised a brow, her lips curving a little. "Okay...?" She glanced away, not watching as he left.

Luna sat alone for about five or six minutes, the only sounds coming from the TV ans she shot machine guns at evil aliens. Luna cursed out loud, frowning as she accidentally killed her self with a grenade and the wall.

"Wow you suck!" Tony all but yelled, causing Luna to jump and nearly drop the controller. Luna glanced up quickly, setting her brother standing in the doorway grinning and Bruce standing somewhat behind him looking strangely uncomfortable.

She quickly looked back at the screen. "One stupid mistake does not mean I suck. I have a better score in this game then you."

"Pffft." Tony huffed out, moving towards the couch. He sat on the complete other side of Luna, leaning against the other arm rest. Luna saw Bruce give Tony a stern look out of the corner of his eye before sitting between the two in the middle of the couch.

"Hey, mind scooting over a bit Brucie? I want to stretch my legs out." Luna barely heard Tony speak, trying to concentrate on the game. She was vaguely aware of Bruce huffing out in annoyance before he scooted her way.

Luna played for another minute or two before Bruce suddenly jerked into her shoulder hard, causing her to drop the controller. That game automatically paused as the battery fell out when it hit the floor.

Luna jerked her head towards her friend right as Bruce reared out and smacked Tony's thigh with his fist the same time she spoke. "What the hell are you two doing?!"

He rolled his arm, shaking off Tony's foot from his shoulder. Tony bent his leg upwards, gripping his thigh. He started groaning and laughing at the same time, clutching where Bruce had hit him.

"Ahaha... oh god! Hahaha. Ohmygod Bruce you punch hard when you're angry." He held his thigh, rolling to and forth on the couch.

Luna frowned at the both of them, glaring at her brother. "Then stop kicking me dammit." Bruce nearly growled out, causing Luna's brow to shoot up in surprise. Bruce had a bad temper, but he usually had a good lid on it. Especially when it came to Tony.

"Jesus, will the both of you calm down?" Luna remarked, frowning even more as she reach over and scooped up the controller and battery.

"I'm..." Tony reached out to cover his grin. "Oh, I'm sorry. My bad. Bruce just had something on his shirt so I thought I'd try to wipe it off." Bruce glared briefly at his friend before sighing and slicking back his hair with his hand. He shook his head a few times, his eyes shut tightly.

"You okay Bruce?" Luna asked a tiny bit hesitant. Bruce was scary when he was angry, although she'd only seen him angry a few times in front of her. Not to mention it had been a long time. He wasn't exactly angry right now, but Bruce was defiantly annoyed and tense.

"Oh he's fine." Tony waved his hand in the air a few times. Luna looked over, glaring at her brother as she snapped the battery case back in.

"Shut up Tony." Luna said, although she couldn't stop the affectionate smile that spread her lips. Tony winked at her, sticking his tongue out.

Bruce sighed once more, drawing her attention. He reached over and gently took the controller from Luna's hands, their fingers over lapping for a brief second.

"Let's just start another game." Luna stared at him, but when he wouldn't look at her she leaned down, leaning over his knees slightly. Luna looked up into his face, smiling. "You think you can get more kills then me Mr. banner?"

Bruce's eyes widened slightly, and he gave a startled laugh. "You wanna bet?" He chuckled, half smiling while he bit one side of his lip.

Luna pursed her lips, leaning back slightly. "You're on. One on one." She snatched the controller off the table, Bruce grinning silently.

Tony chuckled once, shaking his head at her which caused her to glance his way briefly while Bruce started a new game.

Luna raised a brow at her brother, but Tony just shook his head and pointed towards the TV, silent giggles moving his chest.

Luna frowned for a second before mentally shrugging and looking away.

Sometimes her brother was so weird. He really was lucky to have a friend like Bruce to keep up with his weird antics.

After a while things started to loosen up, which is what Luna had wanted. A well placed death on her part, causing herself to lean back against the couch and moan. Look over to Bruce, punch his arm softly and smile.

Bruce smiled back, relaxing. Luna makes a comment about him being too good, both boys laughing and giving her odd looks.

Then right after, Luna would give it her all and wipe the floor with Bruce, killing him several times before he could land a single blow.

"What?!" Tony yells, leaning forward and laughing as Luna killed Bruce yet again. Bruce smiled brightly, still seeming timid even while having fun.

"You cheat." He muttered, running around a corner. Luna blew him away with a shot gun. "You've been hiding behind that shot gun all match you pansy." Tony muttered, a smile on his lips as the game ended.

Bruce leaned his head back slightly, pushing his glasses up and smiling his odd crooked smile, where he bit his lip on one side, teeth showing slightly. He reached up and rubbed his neck slightly, setting his controller down on his thigh.

Luna laughed, blushing slightly in embarrassment from trying so hard. She'd beaten Bruce by a good fifteen points.

"I think I got my groove back." Luna laughed softly, scooting away slightly so she could put her knees up under her.

Bruce looked sideways at her, face set in a bashful half grin. He opened his mouth to speak before he was interrupted by Tony's generic ring tone.

Luna looked over to watch her brother fish it out of his pocket, grumbling about how he should change his ring tone to something more interesting.

"Hey there sexy beast! To what do I owe this honor Mr. America?" Tony stood, taking his soda and leaving the room, giving the two on the couch a wink.

Luna shook her head after him, looking to Bruce as he turned his head to look at her. He smiled at her and Luna smiled back, her eyes crinkling.

"I swear, between you and Steve, I wonder if Tony is straight some times." She giggled softly as Bruce blushed deeply.

"I... I mean. He just values our friendship."

"He values something of yours all right." Luna took a drink of Bruce's tea slyly, raising a brow over the age. She liked the heat of his tea better then Tony's soda. It didn't hurt her upset stomach.

Bruce blushed even deeper, a slight frown on his face. "You're ridiculous."

Luna smiled, mostly to herself then him as she looked down briefly. It was silent for a moment before Luna decided to speak. "You sure you're okay Bruce?" He looked at her quickly, body tensing and eyes going wider. Luna smiled awkwardly. "I mean, I'm sorry, It's just, lately you haven't seemed yourself."

Bruce stared at her for half a second, mouth half open before he suddenly smiled, chewing on his lip.

"No, I uh, I'm fine. Really. Tony's just giving me a hard time."

"Why?"

"He just is." Bruce smiled again, looking in her eyes.

Luna looked at him for a second, face blank before she smiled. "Remind me to punch him for you, eh?"

Bruce just laughed once more, picking up his controller.

"Re match. No shot guns."

"You're on."

It was the casual flirt, the shy flirt that she could not understand, would probably never understand.

The sly glances Bruce sent her that Luna caught out of the corner of her eyes. The way Bruce would blush ever so slightly when she laughed his way.

Now, you see, Luna wasn't stupid. In fact, Luna was probably one of the smartest kids for her age in all of America.

She understood attraction and the sexes, but that's not to say she always understood. The last time she'd purposely flirted wand dated someone was before the incident.

Of course, like any other hormonal teenager, she noticed the attraction of other boys. Loki's jaw line, long fingers, and strong arms made her break out in a hot sweat. Hell, even though she did not like them even REMOTELY in that way, Luna noticed how buff Thor was, or how Steve kept his body in shape and the pretty blue of his eyes.

She understood when a man hit on her, usually they intended to make it obvious. Luna knew what they wanted. "Hey I think you're so beautiful..." Or "You know, I couldn't help but notice you over here..." Or even the casual, "Hi what's your name?"

One of the main reasons she was ignorant to Loki's feeling towards her, was probably because Loki was equally ignorant to hers as well. Both the two trying so hard to ignore the obvious and little ticks and affectionate movements.

It was instances like this that Luna's emotional scale was ignorant on. Bruce stared at her, glancing down under his lashes and back to her. Her mind was damaged, ignoring the obvious. In her mind, when a guy would tell her he cared about her the first thing Luna thinks is, "Why? What do they want from me?"

She blocked out forms off affection this way, which was probably why it was so hard for her to admit her own feelings to Loki and keep denying he had similar feelings for her.

Luna, subconscious or not, does not believe a man would want her for her.

Luna was like this with friends as well, which is why Loki was different, why he is special. Luna had always been friends with Clint, Natasha, Bruce and so on. Those relationships were solid in her heart. They were family.

New friendships, serious friendships, Luna had neither had nor craved after the incident although she didn't realize this herself.

Not until Loki. Loki was special.

She never stopped to wonder why Luna had tagged along with her brother and his friends her whole life, more so even after the incident. She just knew she did, and the only beginning that hinted she was getting over her traumatic experience was finally noticing and even getting frustrated with it. Which is another reason she wanted Loki so much.

If she had thought about it more, Luna might have realized her own faults and mental blocks in her mind. How she never liked talking about it, how she had nightmares about it every night. Her subconscious telling her to be untrust worthy of any new comers. The only person she'd ever tried talking about her feelings about the incident was Tony who shared it with her. But he himself did not want to talk about it. He'd come to terms what happened much better then Luna had and urged her to do the same.

Maybe later in her life it would get worse, and start to effect her daily life, but as of right then her symptoms where mild and manageable. That is why Luna herself did not even notice them nor anyone around her, not even her brother.

That is why Loki was special. He didn't try to, he didn't even want her friendship at first, but he had it. Loki dug his way past her mental blocks without even trying; without even wanting.

All because she'd trusted a man like that once. She loved him like a father, holding him in the highest regards as if he was, next to her own. He practically raised her after her mother died, and her actual father was away at work or in his lab.

She'd trusted him. She'd loved him.

Luna was damaged, although she wouldn't realize this till much later in her life.

.

So she sat, playing a video game with Bruce Banner at her side, completely ignorant to his troubled and lonely heart, denying her own blossoming feelings for a different boy that carved his way into hers.

I feel so bad for Bruce. :( Why have I done this to myself?!

Ahh... Well Luna has very mild case of PTSD, (Post-traumatic stress disorder) and is having a hard time getting over the Obadiah incident, which will have more light shined on it in the coming chapters.

I feel that if a teenager was betrayed by someone in such a horrible way, like this situation, it would probably do some damage, wouldn't you think?

We're all only human, and the mind is a fragile thing.

Once again, sorry for any mistakes. I did skim over this one briefly. Ah... I'm horrible. :)
