Oh hello there everyone, I have returned at long last and the twenty-sixth chapter of "Akame no Taizai" is here. It's been long overdue and I apologize for the delay. Damn, law school is so damn taxing and that had kept me away from making new chapters of this crossover and my other stories. Anyways, thank you a lot guys once again for your reviews and support of this Akame ga Kill x Nanatsu no Taizai story. Truly appreciated a lot. XD

Guess the Armor Giant arc has been diverged away from the story since Akame encountered "Gowther" who's actually Dale mutated by Demon blood and Alan who happens to be the actual Goat's Sin of Lust himself in the current Byzel arc. But don't worry I might tie up some loose ends like Pelliot and Dawn Roar in my plans for this story diverging somewhat from canon.

Chapter 26

What the hell is this man talking about it has been 10 years as if I'd known him... I never even met the creep! Who the hell is he? A Holy Knight infiltrator after us and Princess Elizabeth?..., Akame wondered in inward confusion and suspicion as she kept herself focused towards the green-haired man who happened to know her after appearing before her and the Armored Giant revealed to be a mutated Dale inside the Enchanted Armor.

"Who are you? Are you a spy for the Holy Knights? Answer me!", she demanded while ready to unsheathe Murasame.

"Guila... No... He's... friend... Gowther's... friend...", Dale tells the Red-Eyed Killer Knight but she still remained suspicious.

Almost as if he made quite a convincing roleplay for him, the young man in front of her replied with an inquisitive look and pushing up his glasses, "No I am not. My name is Alan, a villager from Ordan and an avid bookworm and my friend whom you've recently met is the Armored Giant and he's not allowed to show himself until I come back with the books for him to read...Nice to meet you Miss Kamehame-Ha. Your performance in the Fight Festival despite your mutual loss with your old friend and opponent in the match."

Akame can only sweatdrop while feeling a bit embarrassed of that stupid alias Ban gave her for the Fight Festival participation but it only heightened her suspicion on Alan even more so. Which the boot has finally dropped upon her when he said next.

Then he gave a mild smirk and glasses shining glint of evil and said quite a bit over the top like a cliche stage villain with a standing pose for some reason, "Or rather... I am a spy for the Holy Knights who captured the Goat's Sin of Lust and made him as bait for you and your friends into a trap for the Holy Knights to swoop him and arrest you all in the name of Justice. Then I'll become rich and famous in Ordan Village for capturing the dreaded Seven Deadly Sins and their eighth shadowy member! Just as Planned! Muwahahahaha!"

I KNEW IT! The Owl's Sin of Vanity appeared to have snapped into blind rage, having believed her suspicion all along. As a result, she dashed with quick speed in a blink of an eye and drawn her Teigu to kill this Alan right here and now before he become a huge problem for her and her comrades, and bring Dale back with her. "Eliminate!", she shouted.

Then the unthinkable happened ingrained into Akame's memory after she swung her blade upon Alan for one-hit kill.

The green-haired young man had casually blocked Murasame with his bare hand on the left, touching its sharp edge and bleed out which the poison seeping inside him as a result, and he apparently did not register or care about the cursed markings manifesting all over his body, which did not kill him on spot as his eyes turned jet black and his body engulfed in black miasma around him, and studying the weapon and the poison coursing through his body as if it was the most fascinating subject for research.

He absentmindedly remarked with nostalgia and brief moment of remembrance while ignoring Akame and the Armored Giant as if they weren't there, "Intriguing, so this is the essence of the one of the members of the Six Knights of Black who barely survived death from the Ancient War and its life-force was placed within the blade which is this Teigu, the One-Cut Killer: Murasame to survive, feeding on the countless deaths of those it struck down by the wielders. Defected from a group of warriors from the Demon Clan whose strength was used by Stigma as a benchmark for the strength of the Ten Commandments 3,000 years ago at that time and sided with Meliodas after his betrayal."

Akame was paralyzed in cold fear that her weapon had no effect on Alan and could not do a thing as she kept watching him analyzing Murasame and noticing his jet black eyes just like Captain in the climax of his duel with Ban earlier. This is so unreal. First Captain, then Dale, and now this man. They share that similar terrifying aura I've sensed., she thought after feeling Alan's brief demonic aura and jet black eyes with her poisoned blood.

Dale remained silent and still as statue as he also sensed a similar demonic power from Alan similar to his, but more powerful than him.

"While I praise your effort in trying to harm me former Six Knight of Black member residing within the blade, you and your poison are not strong enough to actually kill me as my creator gave me pseudo-immortality along with other fellow living weapons of war he has made like Big Brother and also the other higher-ranking Demons with seven hearts like Meliodas or the Ten Commandments and other senior members of the Demon Clan too as well. So I'll return your poison back to your vessel.", he said with a slight frown made from his emotionless face, talking to Akame's Teigu as if it was a person.

Then Alan mildly exerted his Magic power mixed with miasma, which soon disappeared after that, to banish Murasame's poison away from his body and back into the weapon and then seemingly forgot of what he was talking about as if he was mind-wiped clean once his jet black eyes returned to normal color with few blinks and few panting breaths and noticed Akame gaping at him.

"Oh, I'm sorry about that. Here is your Sacred Treasure back. That was a close one. I thought I was a goner there. My hand is bleeding and it hurts a little. Ouch...", the green-haired man offhandedly said as he then politely returned the Owl's Sin of Vanity her trusty weapon that she awkwardly got it back.

Six Knights of Black?... Demon Clan?... Stigma?... Ten Commandments?... 3,000 years ago?... Big Brother?... What the hell is he talking about?! And also did I just noticed that he SOMEHOW did not die from Murasame's poison and continued on talking about those things he said as if it was a minor convenience to him?! He even returned the poison back into Murasame after expelling it from his body just like the Vampire King similarly did 12 years ago! Unbelievable!, said the Red-Eyed Killer Knight as she was shocked with terror and dismay that Alan had not only bare-handedly blocked her most deadly weapon but also withstood against the most dangerous one-hit instant kill poison that not even Esdeath can survive it.

She will also have to ask Gowther about what he said back then or even Merlin if he couldn't give an answer to her after they find the Boar's Sin of Gluttony and reunite with her. But for now, Akame kept it within her memory and will have to bring it up later for the right moment.

"W-w-what the hell are you?...", Akame asked again, waiting for Alan's answer.

After returning Akame's Teigu back to her and wiping out the blood with his handkerchief, Alan unbuttoned his trenchcoat to reveal the Goat symbol of the Seven Deadly Sins located on the right side of his chest while subtly swayed his head to change his hair from green to dark red. The true Goat's Sin of Lust have revealed himself in front of the former Imperial Assassin.

"My sincere apologies for my poorly-made prank, Owl's Sin of Vanity, Akame... I am neither a villager of Ordan nor a spy of the Holy Knights. Alan was just a false name to hide from the Holy Knights and it served me well for ten years... I am Goat's Sin of Lust, Gowther of the Seven Deadly Sins. This is my true appearance outside of the Enchanted Armor underneath... I believe this is your first time seeing me like this since 10 years ago. You have seen my mark on my body as proof of my identity and affiliation, right? The tattoos of the Seven Deadly Sins are created by Merlin and they cannot be faked or imitated at all...", he revealed with an emotionless tone that Akame can now recognize his speech pattern unlike the Armored Giant.

The raven-haired young woman took a good look on the tattoo of the man who revealed himself to be the actual Gowther and realized he was right. The Seven Deadly Sins' marks including her own were made by Merlin and they cannot be plagiarized as Gowther explained. Merlin once showed Akame the paper sheet containing the symbols of each member of the Sins representing their animal symbols, and the latter remembered the Goat mark with ram horns among them.

And also the Boar's Sin of Gluttony did offhandedly mention to the Owl's Sin of Vanity that Gowther is actually a normal-looking person piloting the Enchanted Armor she gave him to seal him off as his power limiter, not a big old man Ban would claim him to be, but never went further on what he looked like.

"So you really are Gowther, right?...", Akame softly muttered which the dark red-haired man simply nodded in confirmation. She felt a weight lift off her shoulders and breathed in relief, being glad to have found another member of the Seven Deadly Sins alive and well. Definitely the Gowther she remembered even when it's her first time seeing outside his large armored appearance.

Walking up to him after sheathing Murasame away, she gave him a tight hug which he absentmindedly returned the favor... and then she punched Gowther in the face so hard that he flew into the cave's walls and the the mountain shook from the shockwave of his crash she caused for deliberately psyching her into attacking her own comrade.

Despite no longer being human and currently sealed within the Enchanted Armor, even Dale winced from the blow struck on Gowther.

"Oww... What is that for? Is this how people say hello? By punching each other? Fascinating...", Gowther emotionlessly asked in wonder despite having a bruise cheek and his glasses nearly falling off and gets up like it was nothing, dusting off his trenchcoat that has little tear from the debris it scraped through.

Akame angrily yelled back at him in tears, barely keeping herself composed after what she sees herself to have almost committed the most unforgivable sin, "That's for scaring me Gowther you goddamn idiot! You just showed up out of nowhere, played around with my suspicions towards you and then you had the audacity to goad me into attacking you! I could have killed you! Why the hell did you do that?!"

Gowther simply replied in emotionless manner with a finger placed on his right cheek, "Because it was amusing. I have always observed that Captain and Ban had always gotten under your skin whenever they troll you so I want to try it out and have recently succeeded in this opportune moment. You have been trolled, Akame. Troll-lol-lol."

She can't... believe it after receiving the Goat's Sin of Lust's answer.

Oh yeah I forgot... Gowther loves to roleplay and cosplay every character from the books he read a lot about it in his downtime. I can't believe I fell for that! The typical evil spy reveal cliche genre. Played right into his game like a fiddle! If Captain and the others finds out about this, I'll never live it down among all the list of those embarrassing moments of my life. Why me?..., Akame cried in anime tears and feeling down with her shadows subconsciously forming a dark rain cloud over her head much to Dale's sympathy.

"Friend... Not funny... Gowther not amused... No pick on Guila...", the Armored Giant slowly shook his head in disappointment like father towards his children picking on each other at Gowther for trolling the woman he thought to be his daughter Guila and gave Akame a mild rub on her head to comfort her.

"Thanks, Dale. I needed this...", she muttered gratefully with a mused smile while wiping off her tears. He really is Doting Dale...

"I assume you will bring us to Captain and the rest of the Seven Deadly Sins for a reunion right?", Gowther asked emotionlessly.

Akame gave the Goat's Sin of Lust a flat look in response, "Oh no, no, no, there was this other guy. Last name, Sherlock. First name, no shit. Of course we're regathering all of the Sins and bringing Dale with us to help his condition. We recently gained new allies on the way to help Princess Elizabeth save the kingdom from Hendrickson and Dreyfus' grasp if you heard news of her disappearance around the kingdom and her wanted poster I've been informed about earlier. Except Escanor wherever he is and we'll pick him up later after that. Admittedly he's kinda overkill and should stay on the sidelines for now. Thank God, Esdeath wasn't our enemy or else we might need him against her."

Seemingly ignoring her first line of sarcasm that went through his head, Gowther understood with a pose alongside pointing his finger high without even realizing it, "I see. Escanor is the Story Breaker Character who should stay out of this saga because if he were with us, the series would have ended a lot quicker anticlimactically with Hendrickson and Dreyfus easily defeated by his hand alone and the Holy Knights surrendered effective immediately without a fight before his immeasurable might. Praise the Sun!"

Somewhere in the underground bar he run within the mountain, a tall muscular shirtless man with a mustache and a lion's symbol on his back sneezed in a gentleman manner and wondered who is talking about him behind his back. Disregarding it as a mere nuisance immediately with a shrug, he twirled his glorious mustache and worked on expanding more space and room of his bar for more customers to accommodate for them by digging through the cave's walls with a pickaxe of his weight and size.

The Owl's Sin of Vanity can only sweatdrop and sigh in disbelief, "Yeah, sure let's go with that. At least you get the point." Another fourth wall break huh? Is this gonna be a running gag?, she remarked in her thoughts.

Gowther took notice of Incursio that Akame carries around in her back sheath but for once he kept it to himself, sensing two great powers' aura, one is the Tyrant and the other is the soul of an ex-Six Knight of Black member, continuously clashing with each another without her knowledge, that the very idea of wielding two Sacred Treasures, or Teigu as she sometimes insisted calling them before she gave up and just rolled with the former category, was a big no-no and internally decide to calculate and locate the hypothetical candidate for wielding the long undrawn Teigu among the Boar Hat crew who are not members of the Seven Deadly Sins after Akame brought him and Dale into their group.

Suddenly, Akame and Gowther sensed something coming followed by several huge explosions and earth shaking which could mean an enemy attack, and looked at each other for a moment before nodding and heading outside of Byzel's caverns to meet up with their comrades with the Armored Giant following the two Sins like a lost puppy clinging towards its owners.

And all the unlikely trio have came to see once they leave Byzel's caverns is fire, death and brimstone with destroyed homes and charred corpses everywhere as they gaze upon the view of the attackers from the kingdom's capital already on the offensive...

Earlier at the Great Byzel Rock where Meliodas vs Matrona (Diane) is held

Meanwhile, Cain Barzard and Alyssa were having a negotiation outside the Great Byzel Rock they were having after the latter wanted to talk with them on "an interesting business proposition" while Najenda quietly observed the scene between two Holy Knights and see how it unfolds as she lit another cigar to smoke on and glanced briefly at the arena.

Cain said towards the red-haired woman who approached him for a business proposition, "Let me get this straight, young lady. The Liones Holy Knights have staged a coup and overthrew King Bartra, took control of the country led by Great Holy Knights Hendrickson and Dreyfus and oppressed the citizens, your superior officer Lady Great Holy Knight Esdeath wages a secret cold war against the two in a balance of power between Three Great Holy Knights and their respective factions and needed the help of the Seven Deadly Sins who are here in this festival with Meliodas."

"Yup. Pretty much in a nutshell, Sir Cain. Lady Great Holy Knight intended to topple Hendrickson and Dreyfus and put the king back on his throne and she cannot do it alone without help. With the near majority of the Holy Knights and the New Generation, the Jaegers are pretty outnumbered in terms of number despite possession of Sacred Treasures in our arsenal and recruitment of sympathetic members. Your reputation and strength as the Flame Barzad is quite well-known, feared and respected among Liones Holy Knights and the people who've heard about you in songs and tales.", the female Jaeger Holy Knight confirmed with a serious business look in the negotiations a bit further away from Howser who's too fixated with the upcoming Meliodas vs Matrona fight.

The elderly Holy Knight of Danafor noted, "True, I was quite famous in my own right but, to be humbly speaking, not on Meliodas' level Miss Holy Knight. I remember one time I killed two or three Tyrant Dragon with Meliodas and Liz' help on a mission in my youth or at that time I had my fair share of fighting off an enemy kingdom's military aided by some Giants they hired about to attack Danafor with a contingent of my fellow Holy Knights I've lead in battle."

With a small laugh, Alyssa told him, "Exactly. Even after your reveal to Sir Meliodas back in the match, the people still remembered you. One of the few survivors of Danafor's tragedy and still alive and kicking. By the way, your Blaze attacks are deliberately weak and completely half-assed. You never really meant to hurt Sir Meliodas at your full power and just wanted words with him about your country's downfall somehow related to him. As a kid, I used to hear some stories of the infamous Flame Barzard who once blew up The Great Trembling Mountain Dumblebas with a small but greatly compressed fireball, strong enough to bring the Giant warrior chief of the west down completely after flicking marble-sized flame attack at him during that said battle against an enemy invasion threatening Danafor."

Wow, I've heard that these Holy Knights are capable of matching an entire country's army and defeating powerful Danger Beast-like monsters and it appears to be true after all. The old Esdeath would love to have a real challenge from the Holy Knights if the Empire decide to conquer Britannia and expand their lands under their control. To think Akame and the Seven Deadly Sins were once Holy Knights before their frameup as wanted criminals, you've certainly moved up to a whole new level of your own there., Najenda appears to be impressed and scared at the same time of Britannia's powerful knights' power.

The thought of one Holy Knight annihilating an entire army was probably the wet dream of the Revolutionary Army and the Empire's Military who would want them into their ranks that could potentially tip the scales of power and battle in their favor. Especially with Teigus they wield after having compatibility as shown with the Jaegers Holy Knights as an example.

Chuckling sheepishly with his hand scratching behind his head, the old man commented, "Yeah you got me there. About Dumbelbas though, he survived my attack but he later died in a duel with a fellow Giant named Fang of the Great Earth Matrona in the skirmish between Liones knights and a large barbarian tribe several months after recovering from the massive burns he suffered. He was too determined to get his warrior's honor back whatever it takes after I humiliated him in battle and he got what he wanted."

It certainly left a good impression from Najenda on the old man who's more than meets the eye and not judge the book by its cover. Old masters and badass elders are never to be underestimated at all despite their advanced age. That's the ironclad conclusion which no one will ever dispute about it.

"I never knew you got sharp eyes there young lady. People always assumed me to be a drunken old man drowning my sorrows with a bad back as I wander without a country everywhere I go which I am admittedly until the Fight Festival and have sobered recently after reuniting with Meliodas. So what will be the offer then?", Cain wonders whilst stroking his beard.

"The offer for you would be accepting Lady Great Holy Knight's services and help us liberate Liones from Hendrickson and Dreyfus. You'll be given a reward for compensation of your aid and contribution to our cause. A place in the kingdom, food, stable job with income in the Liones Holy Knights with Cardinal rank and probably a medal of honor and recognition from the king. What do you say? Are you in?", she said.

Contemplating on his decision, Cain Barzard declared with a handshake with Alyssa. "Hmm... Alright then, I'm in. It's been too long since I had a real fight not while I mourn for Danafor's loss. What better way to help Meliodas and honor my country's legacy is to give those arrogant Liones youngsters some good asskicking from an old pro like me and save this kingdom from their grasp. After all, I owe Meliodas my life and I would have jumped at the call to help him and his friends anyway if he wants my help with or without your offer... But I accept. Very well, I, Sir Cain Barzard of Danafor, am at your service, Miss Holy Knight Alyssa."

"Welcome aboard Sir Cain. Tee-hee!", Alyssa smiled happily that it went well in bringing the Danafor Holy Knight veteran on their side.

"I'm impressed. You have good negotiating skills there, Miss Holy Knight.", Najenda complimented as she watched Cain walk away and rejoined Howser and Taizoo, greeting them with a "Yo!" again.

"Thanks. I'm more than just a playful pretty face, you know. Never underestimate girl power!", the young woman remarked with a coy smile as she walked back to the arena. "How about we go to see and enjoy the last fight, shall we Miss Najenda? Tee-hee!"

Najenda let out a few plumes of smoke from her cigarette, "Sounds good to me. Hopefully, Akame comes back soon after all the revelation you gave her. Needed time to process after knowing her sister and also Esdeath lived."

With that, the former Revolutionary General and the female Jaeger Holy Knight went back to the Great Byzel Rock and join up with their allies for witnessing the finale match of the Fight Festival.

Love Helm announced to the anticipation of the audience, "Finally, it's Byzel Festival's final round! We had a parade of monsters this year, and this is to decide who's the top among those monsters!"

"Wait for us a little bit, 'kay?", a shrunken Diane said to a shrunken Elizabeth covered in a piece of cloth.

Hawk interjected however, "More importantly, we need to do something about Elizabeth's appearance. Can't help it then. Elizabeth, can you raise your arms for a moment?"

Working on his little "magic" of making new clothes for the small Elizabeth which is quite admittedly amazing and could have made a hit in the clothing business, the Third Princess of Liones is dressed in a strapless dress with a big ribbon on her back. "Thank you Hawk!", she said gratefully.

Amazed and awe of Hawk's clothes-making for Elizabeth, King asked the talking pig. "What is this useless impressive skill?"

"Both contestants, please step into the ring! The final round of the Byzel Festival: Meliodaz vs Matrona! Let's get this match started!", the impish man with a weird helm called out to the Sins of Wrath and Envy.

Stepping on the already damaged ring, Meliodas and Diane are ready to begin their match and wanted to end this quickly so they can retrieve the latter's Sacred Treasure along with the reward money and call it a day. Diane agreeing with him, adding playfully that she will throw away the match in her beloved captain's favor by letting him knock her out of the ring after trading some few or more punches and kicks to make it more believable.

Unfortunately, Ban won't let that happen and saw it as spoiling the fun for him as he had paid a couple of cute women in overdone makeup and provocative outfits revealing their cleavage and skin with all the money Hawk had from his profits all to flirt with Meliodas in front of everybody and trigger Diane into an unstoppable machine of rage and envy.

Love Helm commented that Meliodaz has some sexy fans and claimed to be jealous of the Sin of Wrath alongside the men who agreed with him. While poor Hawk despaired on the huge loss of money he had gained from selling barrel ale throughout the rest of the festival as Ban poured all the silver coins to the joyful women for a job well done.

It worked fan-freaking-tasically and the shrunken Giantess is pissed to complete hell thanks to the Fox's Sin of Greed.

Barely containing her unyielding rage and clenching her fists, Diane struck the first blow upon Meliodas and smacked him on the ground so hard, planting him like a dumbass tree. "You... CHEATER!"

It resulted in the Great Byzel Rock taking the full brunt of the shrunken Giantess' fist and received more earth-splitting cracks on itself much to the collective shock of everybody witnessing a woman scorned thanks to Ban's intentional troll.

"Matrona has taken a fierce initiative!", Love Helm exclaimed as he wisely moved out of the ring and leave Meliodas to face her wrath.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH! I'M NOT LETTING YOU OFF THE HOOK ANYMORE!", the enraged Serpent's Sin of Envy shouted and threw another punch to smack Meliodas down into the ground again but he backed away and the shockwave's air pressure of her blow had been evident on the ring.

"You've got it all wrong. I have no idea.", the Seven Deadly Sins captain tried to explain and diffuse the situation while Ban giggled with glee of the mayhem he has caused and King, Elizabeth, Hawk and the audience including the girls the Fox's Sin of Greed paid in silver coins were surprised of such ferocity Diane had exuded in the finale match.

"Save your excuses!", she cuts him off and threw another punch that Meliodas moved sideways this time with another shockwave's air pressure breezing through Taizoo, Howser, Alyssa, Najenda and Cain who all share their wide-eyed shock of her strength and sweatdrops at the same time.

"This is not good, isn't it?", the older woman commented, witnessing the spectacle.

"Yup.", the redhead woman nodded in sweatdrop too as well.

Making a safe distance after jumping away from a still upset Diane, the blonde-haired boy remarked and readied to counterattacked which she responded in kind, "If I don't get serious, this could be bad."

The Sins of Wrath and Envy have traded powerful blows and kicks at each other thanks to Ban throwing away their previous plans of ending the Fight Festival quick and get back the War Hammer: Gideon, and the Great Byzel Rock is starting to finally give in and can't hold much longer as one of the audience members took notice. "Hey, can the stage hold this?"

Diane threw another strong punch on the right but Meliodas raised his left arm and blocked it which he then traded strong punches of his own at her which she dodged and blocked. The Serpent's Sin of Envy kneed him hard on the stomach and he retaliated by punching her on the head. She charges at Meliodas again.

As he punches the Serpent's Sin of Envy back, he asks her, "Where are you taking all that excess strength, even after shrinking, Diane?"

He then jumps, and tries to land a punch from above. Diane, however, stops the punch with an uppercut, and then socks Meliodas in the head when he tries to attack her again, sending him flying. The Seven Deadly Sins captain gets back to his feet, noticing her size to be returning to normal bit by bit as shown with her borrowed clothes straining to contain her growing body, having shrunk due to a Chicken-Matango previously.

"Captain, you... IDIOT!", the brunette shrunken Giant shouted angrily at him after she took offense to that as she threw another powerful fist strike on Meliodas that nearly blew the audience away and cracked the stage even further.

However, Meliodas and Diane seemed to have stopped right there as if they became immobile statues with their faces concealed in shadows after the former blocked her latest punch.

"What's wrong?", Howser is the first one to notice and sensed new cluster of presences heading to Byzel when he turned his towards their direction.

Cain and Alyssa followed suit too as well, and it is clear that the enemy has arrived with Najenda taking notice of this and knew something is really wrong. They're here already. Crapbaskets...

The audience, on the other hand, were getting a little impatient with the sudden halt of the final match of the Fight Festival and wanted to see more of the fight between the two members of the Seven Deadly Sins.

"What's wrong now?"

"Is it over already?"

"How long will you make us wait?!"

"Get it over with already!"

Hawk commented, "Those two... So they went all crazy and now are all spent?"

Unknowingly to the talking pig and even the princess herself, Elizabeth showed signs of returning back to normal too as well as noted of her new dress started to get a little tighter than average and gaining few more inches of height.

Then Ban and King in his fat human form walked out of the audience and joined Meliodas and Diane on the ring, facing on the direction where their enemy is arriving, that shrunken Elizabeth took notice. The Dragon's Sin of Wrath made his announcement to the people of Byzel with Ban, Diane and King putting on their best and most threatening faces for looking the part of the despicable and cruel villains the Holy Knights have painted them to be in front of everyone.

Too bad Akame wasn't there to join in with her comrades because she makes a really good threatening face worthy of her reputation as the Red-Eyed Killer Knight who can give the Assassin Knights of Marakia a run for their money.

"My real name is the Captain of the Seven Deadly Sins,... DRAGON'S OF WRATH, MELIODAS!", he declared with his Dragon tattoo revealed from his ripped off sleeve of his shirt for all to see much to the audience's disbelief and Howser's alarm. "We will be taking over Byzel for ourselves and since I'm in a good mood lately, you all will get to live that much longer.", he added.

The talking pig commented in surprise, "Eh? What? That idiot! Why is he revealing his identity? Hey, Elizabeth why?"

"Lord Meliodas... Why?...", Elizabeth muttered softly at the blonde boy and his fellow Sins apparently acting evil all of a sudden to her.

Najenda saw through the act Meliodas made and realized, "They're trying to make the civilians evacuate Byzel and get away from here. The Holy Knights are coming here to attack the Seven Deadly Sins in full force and this town would quickly descend into a war zone."

"Oh so that's what Meliodas is doing. Playing the criminal reputation of the Seven Deadly Sins to scare them into running away. Clever...", Cain agreed with him since he knew his old comrade all too well.

"Yup, if the Sins are playing the villains, I'll play my part as the hero. You and Sir Cain get everyone out of here, now.", Alyssa agreed, readying her two weapons and making her reveal to the civilians too as well. She looked at Howser who nodded at her and headed out to get dressed in his armor properly and aid in stopping the Sins, unaware of what's really going on.

Pointing his finger high in the air, Meliodas made his ultimatum towards the shocked and disbelieved people. "Now get your sorry asses out of Byzel within one minute! Or else we'll massacre every single one of you!", he shouted.

"What are you on about, you brat!?", one man protested angrily.

"You look nothing like the wanted poster!", his friend added with a look of annoyance.

"But hey,... their strength they've displayed so far. Could it be?...", but the skeptical dude who paid attention to all the fights the Sins participated in.

And then the crowd including Love Helm notice his and Diane's symbols - the latter being the Serpent's Sin of Envy. Ban and King are also immediately recognized too as well with the former, due to his appearance resembling his wanted poster's image, and his symbol, and the latter, due to him having transformed into his fatter and adult form, which resembles the image on his wanted poster.

"Oh God no! It's the Seven Deadly Sins!", the men who previously mocked Meliodas' threats panicked and backed away from the blonde boy and his friends after they finally understood their situation being at the mercy of the kingdom's most dangerous and wanted criminals.

Show time... Alyssa exerted her Magical power with a visible aura so that the audience and the Sins will have her attention to the former's joy and the latter knowing she's joining in their little show as she jumped into the ring before them and gave a convincing performance of her own. "SEVEN DEADLY SINS! I am Holy Knight Alyssa of the Jaegers! To think I would find you criminal scum here for all places when I'm on my vacation from work. You are as vile and despicable as the Holy Knights say you are! By the order of the kingdom of Liones, you are accused of treason, murder, kidnapping of the princess as your hostage and now the attempted massacre of the people of Byzel you're about to commit! Surrender now or die by blade!", she shouted and unsheathed her Teigus.

"Bring it on girlyyyy. I always wanted to take a crack at you anywaaayysss...", Ban gleefully accepted the challenge with his fists cracking and anticipation, supported by Diane assuming a fighting stance and King turning his Chastiefol pillow into a swarm of floating kunais while Meliodas remained impassive with his face still dead serious and threateningly intimidating.

"It's the Holy Knights! We're saved!", others among the crowd rejoiced.

Firing a warning shot of her Teigu arm cannon that scared off their wits, Najenda shouted out loud that got their attention with Cain on her side, "Everyone, get the hell away from them! Your Holy Knight won't save you all if you don't get your dumbasses out of the way or else the Sins will actually start killing you all on spot. Evacuate the arena! NOW!"

Realizing the danger and saw that Janeda was dead serious about the idea of getting caught in Alyssa's way in stopping the Sins especially after her warning shot and King's swarm of floating daggers to let that sink into their heads, the audience began to disperse and left in single file, leaving only the most persistent and dumb behind as they kept on cheering the redhead Jaeger Holy Knight to get on with it and defeat the Seven Deadly Sins.

Annoyed of the remaining civilians' lack of action and they just wanted to see Alyssa fight the Sins instead of fleeing, Meliodas made his last warning as loud as he can angrily at them. "HURRY UP AND SCRAM!"

Just then, a gigantic meteor-like shower of explosive flares rains down on the town, destroying everything and killed anyone caught in the blasts they hit in equally gigantic explosions. One of the flares targeting Byzel's fighting ring is repelled by Meliodas using his Full Counter in order to save whatever onlookers are left nearby including the arena too as well.

The assailant is revealed to to be Guila, who arrived on Byzel with Jericho, Marmas, Wild Hunt and the Jaegers. Jericho is looking forward to use her newfound power after drinking the Demon blood, Wild Hunt is ready to start their rape, pillage and burn routine to their hearts' content upon the frightened sheep and the Jaegers were clearly sickened of Guila's indiscriminate bombardment on Byzel and its people but there's nothing they can do for the dead but focus on saving the survivors and also eliminate the entirety of Wild Hunt when they least expect it.

And so the attack on Byzel Town has began...

Author's Note: Alrighty then, the twenty-sixth chapter of "Akame no Taizai" is done and the next chapter will be the Seven Deadly Sins fending off the Holy Knights' attack while Wild Hunt's doom have come closer with the Jaegers ready to eliminate them all from behind. I have officially rendered the Armored Giant arc kinda moot thanks to Akame encountering Dale and Gowther and bringing them with her to Meliodas and the Boar Hat crew in Byzel, and Dawn Roar will have their different role in the future.

Since Gowther is a living doll with pseudo-immortality, I doubt that Murasame's poison can kill him and given his reveal in the Ten Commandments Saga as the creation of the original Gowther, the really nice dude on a magic-floating wheelchair and the original holder of the Selflessness Commandment, the Doll Gowther briefly touched Murasame's essence when it entered his body, he briefly manifested Demon Clan powers and reverted back into his Ten Commandments self with jet black eyes and memories of his time 3,000 years ago thanks to one dwelling inside Akame's Teigu. But then he came back to normal after expelling the poison from his body and back into the weapon from whence it came shortly after that.

Given that Akame can sense demon energy thanks to poisoned blood in her body and Murasame itself being revealed to be a host of one of the Six Knights of Black member within the blade, yeah they're linked with the Demon Clan.

Oh I'm excited to watch the upcoming The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky set to release in August 2018. To be safe, I prefer the Demon Clan character whose essence makes up the One-Cut Killer: Murasame to be a former member and there may be a full roster of the canon Six Knights of Black in the movie.

Q1: What would be the perfect guy for Akame?

A1: Very likely someone that reminds Akame of Tatsumi, who's dead in this story since I used the anime route of Akame ga Kill while in the manga he survived and have his happy ending with Mine but ended up transformed into a Tyrant in the final battle, and obviously not a pervert unlike a certain captain of the Seven Deadly Sins who makes fun of her being the butt of his perverted jokes, lol.

Q2: What is the approval rating of Wild Hunt in Liones? (Negatives can be used.)

A2: Obviously 99.9% negative. NOBODY likes Wild Hunt. Not after that strings of incidents around the Kingdom of Liones involving blood, gore and rape they have caused and Hendrickson had to work his ass off in cleaning up their mess and would want nothing more than to get rid of them. Of course, they have served him well in his advancing his schemes for the Demon Clan's revival but I think it's time for Hendrickson to cut his losses and let them get their asses murdered by the Seven Deadly Sins. No one will mourn for them and there will be so much rejoicing. :D

Q3: To Akame: What is it like possibly being the most normal and adjusted person on the Seven Deadly Sins?

A3: Akame: "Well, if you want me to be honest, not referring to that fatass bastard mind you, being an eighth member of the Seven Deadly Sins (and also a fitting substitute for Escanor whenever he's not around or unavailable) gave me a second chance to live my life in a fresh start in Britannia after losing my friends in Night Raid and my sister (who happens to be alive and is with Esdeath brought back too as well, hope we'll meet again on good terms this time.) and having to leave the Empire with no place for me to stay there. I owed King Bartra a lot for giving me a place in Liones and treating me like a person in our first meeting that I'll repay him by helping Princess Elizabeth save the kingdom and him from the Holy Knights.

After joining the Seven Deadly Sins and getting to know them through missions and social activities as Boss would often tell me to as mandatory for new members like Tatsumi for example back in Night Raid, I admittedly became more open with my emotions and no longer bottling it up inside me anymore when I'm around them. And that also extended with other people like Mead and the villagers of Bernia after 10 years of hiding and separation as Martha. They helped me adjust and allowed me to live out my new life in Britannia.

... Despite having to deal with some of my comrades' daily routine of their wacky antics every time I get caught in it, especially with Captain who keeps poking fun on me every time like a dumbass pervert he is. Even Merlin and Escanor had their own moments when it amused them and they're my parental figures who helped me a lot to adjust myself on the Sins. And here I thought they're the serious and more responsible ones in the group. I guess I was wrong. I swear to God I'm the only most normal straight man in the Seven Deadly Sins around here. *grumbles in mild irritation with an eye-twitch and sweatdrop*

However, regardless of their... eccentricities, the Seven Deadly Sins are like a cherished family to me and I owed them everything for becoming into who I am today. I won't let any of them die on my watch. Not after I lost Night Raid... Not after I lost the Elite Seven... Not while the Owl's Sin of Vanity has a say about it...Never again..."

Q4: What is Esdeath's power level? (Take in account that she is currently enslaved in Hendrickson's hands, and that her Teigu Demon Extract can be seen as Ice Magic. And that it took Akame having to use her Trump card to kill her.)

A4: That's a really good question. Esdeath's current Power Level in this story is about probably 2,590 in comparison with Dreyfus' Power Level of overall 3,000 and Hendrickson's Power Level of 2,650 that I checked in the NnT Databook of the characters' Power Levels.

Since she is currently enslaved in Hendrickson's hands as you say, Esdeath's true power level has been heavily suppressed and weakened, which is probably about between 4,000 to 6,000 or even 10,000 for all I know since she was obviously the most powerful villain in the Akame ga Kill series.

So goddamn powerful, in the anime, it took Akame to use Murasame's trump card to kill her on their fight to the death duel; while in the manga, it took Akame with the said trump card, alongside other 10 Teigu users and 100,000 troops of the Revolutionary Army to kill her and she still won't go down throughout the whole battle until her eventual defeat and death by Akame's hand.

To be honest, I'm not really sure of the Power Levels' accuracy appropriate for Esdeath and I hope others may correct it rightly for me which is much appreciated a lot.

Anyways, Esdeath focuses mostly on the Spirit which happens to be her willpower to keep Hendrickson's influence at bay constantly whenever he sometimes to try reassert control of his rogue undead puppet still linked to him but failed. The will to live a new lease of life, thanks to a certain someone who gave her second thoughts in rethinking her life choices for the better after easily dominating her on a onesided curbstomp at some point of her past post-revival and contemplation, once Hendrickson is dealt with; and also focusing all of her hatred and killing intent towards him as she plots many new creative and sadistic ways to make the corrupt Great Holy Knight suffer so badly he'll be begging for death after toying around with him which she will not grant him.

However, it doesn't mean she didn't lose her edge in strength and combat skills as the dreaded Ice Queen who was once the Empire's high-ranking general and most powerful asset, and leader of the Jaegers (the old group and the new), and is currently developing new abilities that I liked in the manga as her trump cards. Despite having turned over a new leaf, Esdeath still has her sadism and ruthlessness. You know like Brought Down to a Badass, and Reformed but Not Tamed sort of way.

After all, Esdeath did rose up to become one of the Three Great Holy Knights and created the Jaegers faction among the Order of Holy Knights in Liones while, and a major ally to Akame and her fellow Sins.

And it's true Esdeath's Demon Extract can indeed be seen as Ice Magic just like how Akame's Murasame can be seen as a Sacred Treasure sort of way. Gustaf and Jericho, who later gained her own ice powers at some point after the Defensive Battle of Liones arc in the Ten Commandments Saga, could learn a thing or two from the Lady Great Holy Knight if she's in a good mood and think they're worth her time. :D
