Chapter 26

General POV

Welcome back my fan girls and fan boys to this chapter of Ouran High Host Club! We've been secretly following our two hosts the Natural type and the Wild type because we've naturally (get the play on words here?) wants to watch them develop naturally! (I just can't stop!) Of course we watched them blossom from the simple meeting they first had to their engagement to FINALLY their *cough, cough* coming together! *Kyoya interrupts* "Damn it Renge, I already told you, this is NOT their wedding speech, hurry it up already. We have people waiting. *Kyoya walks off stage, silence ensues.*

Haruhi POV

I felt a tightness in my muscles I've never felt before, I also felt a warmness against my back which was becoming all too familiar to which I honestly couldn't be more pleased about. I felt a stirring behind me as Takashi wrapped his arm around my waist with his fingers resting against my skin. The smile which was small at first started to grow as I remembered that the man behind me was my beloved. I felt the need to stretch my muscles and as I began to do so I felt the a small resistance against my stomach. "Go back to sleep." His deep voice reverberated through my body/

"I'm not sleepy.." I stifled a yawn that was threatening to escape and maybe a little giggle or two along with it.

"Mm.." He pulled me closer to him even though it felt like I couldn't get any closer. I curled up into a small ball, my knees close to my chest so he could be flush against my body. "Tired. Sleep. Now."

"Fineee." I grumbled with a small whine as I didn't really wish to fall asleep at that moment, as the heat from his back was spreading through my body. I tried desperately to will my eyes to close, for my breathing to deepen however my senses were unable to dull as every nerve ending in my body seemed to be awakening, awakening for him.

You love him.
I do love him, why shouldn't I?
He loves you.
I hope he does...
He's given a piece of himself to you. No one else will ever hold.
Just as I gave him a piece of me I can't give to anyone else.

"Haruhi." The deep voice once again jolts through my body like an electric shock, the warning note failed to register in my brain as the thoughts of what that voice was whispering last night over took the rational part of my brain. "Sleep."

"I can't." I complained to the voice which captured my heart. I heard a faint rumble behind me... Did he really just growl at me? As I began to ponder this when the warmth which was beginning to over take my body suddenly disappeared and I found myself lying on my back staring into predatory steel grey eyes.

"Have you tried?" He raised an eyebrow as he looked down at me.

"Uh. Yes."

"Liar." His eyes softened slightly as a small smirk appeared at the corner of his lips.

"Humph. I do not lie." I turned my nose up at him and turned to look at the wall something, I realised would become my undoing. Quicker than I would of thought possible he dipped into my neck, his nose slightly brushing my skin, my breath got stuck in my throat as I awaited the moment where his lips would make contact with my skin. I felt the heat in my cheeks begin to grow as my over active imagination took over.

"You're a terrible liar my little Haru." He got up from the bed, ultimately from above me and I felt the disappointment start to bubble through my expression although I tried to keep my face expressionless. He turned to face me and I saw the worry begin to show through his molten steel eyes. He casually walked over, bent towards me and kissed my lips softly. "You have home work to do Haru."

"I'm ahead on my home work!" I wrapped my arms around his neck and tried to deepen the kiss, although he was having none of it, as I felt his fingers pressing down onto my shoulders to keep distance between us.

"Then come to the dojo fiancé." The familiar and warming smirk appeared on his lips, I felt my eyes go wide. The Dojo without any training? Although Haruhi the only way we'll learn is to go to the Dojo after all... My mind went into debating mode, I tried to get up from the bed to which he moved to allow me to. The minute my feet hit the ground my legs turned to jelly and I stumbled, Takashi's hand was on my stomach steadying me before putting me back to bed with a hearty chuckle. "Haru. Sleep."

"Why are my legs like Jelly Takashi!" I patted my legs and sighed at the sensation of my hands, almost relieved that I could feel my touch.

"You worked out yesterday." As I looked up at him I could almost sense the thought pattern of "Well Haruhi, what did you expect?" I glared up at him, his voice was laced with humour.

"I didn't work out though!" I immediately went back into my mind, retracing my steps from yesterday. Not one instance of working out either physically or mentally came to mind.

"Haruhi..." His eye brow was raised slight disbelief registering in his normally stoic expression.

"What? I didn't."

"Need I mention last night?" The disbelief didn't disappear from his handsome face.

"What happened last nig-" I felt the heat flooding my cheeks. "Oh!"

"Yeah. Oh." He turned around and started getting prepared for his session at the dojo, under my ever watchful eye might I add.

"Hn." Once he was dressed in his gi, he turned towards the door and paused before opening it. "I will be back." the small smirk appeared if for a moment but the emotions in his eyes said it all. I nodded and he opened the door and left.

"I love you..." I whispered with a smile on my face, my heart pounding against my chest, then I fell back down in bed with a gleeful look and started to replay last night through my head over and over. There was no way I was going to fall asleep with these thoughts running through my head.. I wonder if Takashi has any books in which I can read, I looked at the bedside table and saw my school book on Ancient Japan sitting on the counter... Well he just thinks of everything doesn't he? More importantly where did he get time to move it without me noticing?

Takashi POV

"I love you" I heard Haruhi whisper as I closed the door behind me, it seems even the smallest words uttered by the small brunette that's seemingly taken over my brain. As I walked towards the dojo, Satoshi was waiting for me outside his door as per usual every morning with an embarrassed look on his face. I shot an eyebrow up at him waiting for the question to leave his mouth. "Takashi..."

"Hm?" I stopped in front of Satoshi and looked down at my little brother who was looking at his feet. The turmoil that seemed to be running through his mind was clearly evident, that much was clear.

"Takashi... I... I have a question." His face was beat red and seemed to be slightly apprehensive.

"Ask Satoshi."

"You and Haruhi... You did something last night." I put a hand to the back of my neck and looked towards the ceiling. So Haru and I were louder than I first thought... "I thought that was completely against what we believed in... You know... Against what our parents taught us."

"Hm." How best to settle his worries and answer this question. "Satoshi, our families values are one of the most important things I hold dear to me. Yes, it may seem like I broke that tradition or broke that value or moral however, I love her. We're getting married Satoshi, and with that comes so much love and loyalty. So Haruhi and I didn't break any of our families values or morals because she's going to be my wife. We made a promise to one another, Haruhi's part of our family and ultimately part of me."

Satoshi looked up from the floor with shining eyes, his apprehensiveness disappeared suddenly and a smile appeared in it's place, a smile that had all the hopes and dreams that I placed in Haruhi. "So Haruhi is going to be my sister!"

I placed a hand on his head and ruffled his fair, a small smile on my own lips. "Yes brother, my Haru will in fact be your sister."

*couple of hours later*

"Son." My father patted me on the shoulder after training was finished. We both looked down to where Satoshi was bending over, breathing heavily clearly exhausted from the early mornings training session.

"Hn?" I grunted in reply to him.

"Please be careful." I nodded and the conversation ended there. "Boys training is finished. Go about your day."

I held a hand out towards Satoshi and helped him straighten up, he took it gratefully and I patted him on the shoulder, much like my father had just done to me. "Good job."

"Thanks Taka. Any plans for today?"

"Maybe, you?"

"Well, I know Chicka wanted to see me today to discuss something, I'm unsure of what exactly though. I'm about to call him since he too would of just finished his early training session." It amazes me still that he likes to remind me of when the Haninozuka family finishes their training sessions, as if I haven't been watching over Mitskuni all this time. "I know Mitskuni would probably like to see you and Haru-nii today."

"I know." We started walking towards the exit of the dojo, I gave Satoshi one more pat on his head with a slight ruffle added in, he gave me a wide smile for this. There's one thing I'm always slightly jealous of Satoshi for, and it's for his ability to constantly be able to show his emotions like mother. Father trained me to be like him from a young age, to carry on the Morinozuka name, I have no regrets as it's who I am, however, sometimes I wish I was able to show the emotions that other's are able to portray. I mentally shook my brain from that thought pattern and continued towards the house and my room.

I heard soft breathing from the other side of my bedroom door, my heart started beating just that little bit quicker knowing the girl who's constantly on my mind, my beloved was soundly sleeping but also that she's safe in my house. I opened the door slowly as to not wake her, then stripped down out of my Gi to just basic sport shorts I have underneath. I walked over to the bed slowly, watching her hair part every time she breathed out. I sat down on the corner of the bed and softly nudged her awake.

"Takashi..." She whispered my name in her sleep, bringing a small smile to my lips. "No Taka, five more minutes..." She muttered after opening one eye slightly, she tried to roll over and pull the blankets up over her head but was met with resistance from me sitting on the blankets, I chuckled softly as I watched her struggle more and more with the blanket in a futile attempt to sleep more.

"Time to wake Haru." I leaned down and whispered in her ear.

"No." She rolled onto her stomach and tried to hide her face in the pillows, almost the same way Mitskuni tries to hide from me, which just brought another chuckle to the surface. Doing as I do with Mitskuni I got out of the bed and ripped the blankets off her, letting them pool to the floor by my feet.

"Yes Haru. Up." I watched as her hands grabbed for the blankets, almost comically.

"Fine! You win!" She sat up in the bed and glared openly at me. Just as I was about to reply to her comment my phone started to buzz by the beside table, I picked the phone up and looked at the caller ID, as soon as I noticed it was Mitskuni I answered, only to be met with the cheerful happy cousin I've come to know and love.

"Takashi! We're going to the beach today!" I sighed at my cousin.

"Hm?"

"Yeah! Kyoya and Tamaki said Haruhi wanted to go to the beach! So we're taking all the guests down to Kyoya's families private beach!"

"Hm."

"Yeah! So get Haruhi in the car and come here! The twins have her bathing suits ready."

"Hn." I hung up the phone, and turned to my beloved.

"We're being dragged some where aren't we?"

"Yes. Get ready."

"Fine, I'll go have a shower." She got up from bed, standing in all her glory. I walked over to the two towels I had on a table in my room for today, then turned to look at her, my eyes watching every move she made, slowly beginning to approach her. Her eyes went slightly wide watching my movements, her eyes occasionally glancing down to my torso but never straying for long. Those honey brown eyes with an excited nervous look echoing through.

"Hm. Me too." I wrapped a towel around her, picked her up and carried her to the bathroom to continue from where finished last night.
