Chapter Twenty-Six: Thanksgiving

Olivia pulled the last pie out of the oven, and sat it on the cooling rack on the counter. She'd been up for a few hours, baking the pies for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. She made three total, one pumpkin and two sweet potato. Olivia may not have been the best cook, but she could bake. Her pies and dressing were legendary during holiday meals. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday. She loved when all her family got together. Their holiday meals weren't as big as they use to be, because people moved or passed away. But it was still a nice size of people. She loved the loud talking and laughing, the argument over games, the spades games at the kitchen table.

This would be the first time, for most of her family, meeting Mason. And this was also supposed to be when Fitz and Olivia announced their engagement, since Fitz's parents would be there as well. But thanks to Olivia, the majority of them already knew. Olivia didn't even wait a day before she started telling people. While Fitz was cleaning up the kitchen at the restaurant the same night of his proposal, Olivia was back at the table group texting her family. She told her parents, Quinn, and the rest of her friends. And when they got home, she obviously told Fitz's parents in person. She just couldn't hold her excitement in. Paula and Gerry ended up staying longer than they anticipated, since Olivia and Paula ended up talking wedding ideas that same night. Gerry and Fitz only shared a beer and watched some late night ESPN.

It was about ten o'clock, when Olivia finished cleaning up the kitchen and her mess from making the pies. The rest of the house was quiet, except for her. McKenzie was up in her room sleeping, and Olivia assumed Fitz had put Mason down as well. Cujo was the only one still up with Olivia. He'd stayed awake, lying down beside the kitchen counter. Olivia would have to occasionally step over him to get the fridge and back to the counter. Before, she couldn't stand Cujo being in her kitchen, she'd shoo him away every time her came close. Now, she barely noticed him there. Even now as she stepped over him, she didn't register it. Cujo was rapidly worming his way into her heart. She'd even started letting him up on her bed. He'd fallen asleep plenty of times on that soft mattress and comforter.

"Alright Cujo, let's go to bed." Olivia spoke between yawns, as she stretched her back.

When she got upstairs, she first checked on McKenzie. She turned her light off, and fixed the coves around her before kissing her forehead. She went to Mason's nursery next, but he wasn't there. She found in curled up on Fitz's chest in their bed. It was adorable. Both sleeping with their mouths open, Mason's pacifier lay on the floor beside the bed. He was in his cow printed footed pajamas, Fitz hated them, but Olivia loved them.

Olivia very carefully picked Mason up from Fitz's chest and carried him back to his nursery. She was trying her hardest not to wake him up. She was too tired to deal with him whining right now. She knew he'd more than likely be up in a few hours anyway, so she would like to have slept for at least an hour before that happened. She quickly changed his diaper, before lying him in his crib and tip toed out of the room.

Fitz was still sleeping, when she got back to the room, but now he had turned over on his side. Olivia brushed her teeth and washed her face, then climbed into bed. Cujo was on the cushion bench at the foot of their bed. The moment Olivia slid pulled the covers over her shoulder, she felt Fitz's arm wrap around her and pull her closer to him.

"You smell like cinnamon." Fitz pulled her even closer. "And pie."

"I was making the pies for dinner tomorrow."

"You know for a woman who says she can't cook, you're in the kitchen a lot."

"I can bake. And I can make breakfast food."

"Mhm." She felt him lean in a kiss her beck softly. She could feel him getting hard against her backside already.

"Fitz."

"Hmm?" he was still kissing her neck and caressing her with his free hand.

"No."

"What?" he asked innocently. "It's been six weeks."

"Yes, but I haven't had my doctor's appointment yet. She has to clear me first."

"I'll be gentle." Fitz started lifting the hem of Olivia's silk nightgown, until Olivia grabbed at his wrist to stop him.

"Fitz no." she felt like she was telling Cujo not to lick her feet. "Fitz no."

"Come on Livvie, I'm horny." Fitz whined like a child being denied desert.

"Fitz the doctor hasn't cleared me and I'm tired anyway."

"You don't even have to do anything, you can just lay there."

"Fitz I said no. You better use your hand or go take a shower, because I am going to sleep." And just like that, Olivia rolled back over, pulling the covers closer to herself and fell asleep. She wasn't asleep for long, when she felt the bed moving and Fitz got out. She heard the shower a minute later and felt a little bad. But the doctor hadn't cleared her yet, and she really was tired. Mason was in a special form today. He was crying and whining all day. It seemed that no matter what she did, she couldn't get him to calm down for more than ten minutes. He was just cranky, and the little cat naps he was taking wasn't helping. And since Fitz's was at work, that left her at home alone with the baby and McKenzie all day. It was times like today, when she wished she was back at work already.

"Mommy that hurts."

"Keep your head straight."

"But it hurts!" McKenzie turned her head again, away from her Olivia's hands. She was sitting on her mother's bed in her stockings and an undershirt, playing with her Toni doll, while Olivia did her hair. Olivia was trying to get her ready for Thanksgiving dinner, but McKenzie was being difficult. She had already braided half her hair, she only had a few more braids to go, but McKenzie was getting restless.

"Well if you'd keep your head the way I put it, I'll finish a lot sooner." Olivia quickly braided Kenzie's curly hair half way back. Then she pulled her hair in two ponytails and put a bow on each one. She was brushing up Kenzie's edges, when Fitz came in the room with a diaper clad Mason wrapped in his duck towel.

"Where's his clothes?" Fitz asked.

"On his changing table. And grab a plain onesie." Fitz laid Mason in the middle of their bed, to go get his clothes.

"Mommy?"

"Hmm?"

"Why is Mason so small?"

"Because he's a baby."

"When will he get bigger?"

"Well if he's anything like his big sister, he'll eat a bunch of food and get bigger in no time." Olivia swiped Kenzie's hair one last time. "Okay toots I'm done."

"Am I pretty now?"

Olivia pinched both of McKenzie's cheeks, bringing her closer. "You are always pretty." She kissed McKenzie's nose, before turning her attention Mason. His face was currently scrunched up, and his little legs were curled up to his stomach. "Daddy just took you a bath you little stinker. Babe bring a diaper and some wipes with you."

"Why, I just took him a bath." Fitz walked back in the bedroom, with Mason's clothes in his hands.

"Well obviously he doesn't care, because that is someone's poopey face." Olivia said as she rubbed Mason's tummy. Fitz rolled his eyes at Olivia's baby talk voice. He never did use a baby voice, he always talked to babies like they were adults and Mason was no different.

Fitz came back a minute later with a diaper and some wipes so Olivia could change his diaper. "Mason you smell just as bad as daddy."

"I heard that." Fitz called out from the bathroom. He had put on his pants and undershirt, now he was shaving.

"Well daddy I wasn't whispering." Olivia expertly changed Mason's diaper, and McKenzie helped her by giving her the wipes. After she changed his diaper, she quickly got him dressed in his outfit for today. He was wearing the outfit Fitz's parents brought him the last time they were over. It was a cute little sweater onesie, Olivia didn't even know they had sweater onesies. It was cream with 'My First Thanksgiving' written on the front in orange and red letters. Olivia liked how the words looked like they were written by a child. She put him in a pair of jeans, which she was lucky to find. She could never find a pair of jeans for Kenzie when she was this young. She put on his socks, and realized Fitz forgot his little booties.

"Babe you forgot the booties."

"Ugh!" Fitz moaned from the bathroom. "Is there anything else you need my dear." Fitz asked sarcastically as he went to go get the booties.

"Well if you could get McKenzie's dress from her room as well, I would greatly appreciate it." Olivia gave him a smile.

When Olivia was finally finished getting the kids ready and dressed, she finished getting herself ready. She was still in her slip with her hair in curlers as she got the kids ready. Fitz had taken the kids downstairs to the living room. He had already dressed in a pair of nice jeans and a button down with a tan long-sleeved shirt over it. He looked good, and smelled good to. Olivia use to hate how much cologne he put on, but it was becoming very intoxicating. And it didn't help that he was wearing his glasses again. About a week ago, he misplaced his contacts, and had to start wearing his glasses. He had already ordered some more contacts, and they arrived two days ago. But he decided not to put them back in just yet, because Olivia seemed to really love his glasses. He looked like a sexy nerd, and Olivia got wet every time she saw him.

Olivia had planned on wearing a dress like McKenzie, but she changed her mind at the last minute. Instead she pulled out her favorite pair of jeans, which also happened to be Fitz's favorite as well. She put on a cream cashmere sweater, she was keeping in the color code everyone else was in. When she was finished, she took her hair from the curlers and arranged them to frame her face the way she wanted. She put in her diamond stud earrings, and was finishing her makeup in her bathroom mirror when Fitz walked back in their room.

"Damn." She heard him say before his arms wrapped around her waist from behind. "You look amazing."

"Do I? Because you haven't looked at my face yet. Your eyes have been glued to my ass since you walked in."

"Well you know what these jeans do to me baby." Fitz kissed the side of her neck, resting his chin on her shoulder. "You do look amazing baby. The whole package."

"Thank you." Olivia turned around and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "I just need to put my boots on and I'll be ready."

"No rush."

"Oh but we are in a rush." Olivia corrected him, as she sat on the edge of the bed putting on her knee length boots. "We have to get going, I have to help momma in the kitchen when we get there. And I need to put my dressing in the oven when we get there. Where are the kids?"

"McKenzie's watching TV and Mason's sleeping. Oh, by the way your mother called. She needs some butter and black pepper."

"Babe!"

"What?"

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner? Now we have to rush to the store."

"Oops?"

Olivia rolled her eyes, and stood up from the bed. "Grab the food, I'll get the kids."

X

After a quick stop at the grocery store for butter and black pepper, which was tough to find on Thanksgiving Day, they were finally headed to Olivia's parents' home. Pam had already called Olivia twice to see when she was getting there. Fitz was driving the SUV, occasionally checking on Mason in the seat mirror on his face and McKenzie was watching a movie on the car's TV. He noticed Olivia was quiet, and had been the entire drive. At first he thought something was bothering her, but when he looked her way, he saw a smile on her lips. She was playing with her ring, again. Ever since Fitz put it on her finger, he would always catch her playing with it. Twisting it around her finger while they were watching TV, while they were talking and even as they were going to sleep at night.

"What you thinking about over there?"

Olivia shrugged. "Nothing." Olivia answered him, still twisting the ring around her finger.

"You still like it?"

"You ask me that every day."

"That's because you're always playing with it and messing with it. Much like you're doing now."

Olivia giggled. "I know, I can't help it. I just can't believe we're engaged. I hadn't realized how bad I wanted this until you proposed. I just feel so giddy about being your wife and I can't wait until we're married."

Fitz picked up her hand and kissed it. "Neither can I."

"Mommy I'm hungry!" McKenzie yelled, thanks to the headphones she was wearing.

Olivia laughed at her eccentric daughter. She was always hungry, even if she had just eaten half an hour ago. "We're going to eat at Nana's remember."

"But I'm hungry now." McKenzie whined, still talking way too loud.

"Look in the bottom part of the console, there's a snack in there for her." Olivia looked in the console, and started laughing. "What?" Fitz asked.

"Really babe?" There was goldfish, animal cracker, peanut butter crackers, fruit snacks and little bottled waters stuffed in the bottom of the console.

"What, she gets hungry a lot. I don't want her to starve."

"She ate half an hour ago, she isn't starving." Olivia said, but she still took out one of the peanut butter cracker packs and one of the bottled waters. "Please be careful Kenzie. Don't spill this water on yourself and try not to get crumbs everywhere."

"Okay mommy."

"You do know you're part of the reason my baby is so chunky now don't you." Olivia reached back in the console, and took out a pack of fruit snacks for herself.

"Oh don't blame that on me. She gets it honest." Fitz pinched one of Olivia thighs, dodging her smacks to his arm. "Give me one." Fitz opened his mouth, and Olivia dug around for a grape flavor before popping it in his mouth. The grape ones were his favorite. "Mmm taste almost as good as you do." Fitz gave her his sexy lopsided grin and a wink.

"Such a perv."

"No daddy! That's for helpers only. Right Nana?" McKenzie yelled at Fitz, as she sat on her knees on a kitchen chair by the table. Fitz was currently, trying to get a taste of Pam's icing off the beaters. She had made the layers for her red velvet cake the night before, but she was only icing them now with McKenzie's help. She was trying to get some icing on his finger like McKenzie was doing, but she kept smacking at his hand.

"Fitzgerald get your fingers out of my icing."

"It's only the beaters." Fitz said.

"Helpers only daddy." McKenzie repeated.

"That's right. You didn't help, so you just have to wait until its time to cut the cake."

"Fine." Fitz grumbled. "No more Oreo's for you when mommy goes to sleep." McKenzie stuck her tongue out at him, and Fitz stuck his right back at her. Fitz left that part of the kitchen and went to find Olivia. When he walked in, she was taking something out of the oven and Fitz took a moment to appreciate the view. He really did love those pants. They hugged her body in the most perfect way, accentuating her ass, giving it a little lift. And although Olivia hated the weight she'd gained from her pregnancy, Fitz loved it. All women are beautiful, but he loved a woman with a little something extra on her.

"You gonna stand there all day?" Olivia asked, with her back still to Fitz. She sensed someone in the doorway when she took the macaroni casserole out the oven, and when his cologne hit her, she knew it was Fitz.

"I was planning on it." Fitz walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her, looking over her shoulder at what she was doing. "How much longer until we can eat?"

"Stop your whining, dinner is almost ready."

"Where's the ham?"

"Ham? It's thanksgiving."

"So what?"

"So you have ham on Easter and Christmas not Thanksgiving."

Fitz rolled his eyes. "What's that?" Fitz pointed to something in an aluminum pan next to the oven.

"Dressing."

"What's dressing?"

"You don't know what dressing is?" Olivia asked, turning around as Fitz's arms fell from around her waist.

"What is it like stuffing?"

"No it's not like stuffing. How can you not know what dressing is, you're a chef." Fitz only shrugged. "That fancy culinary school didn't teach you about southern cooking."

"Olivia you were born in Washington."

"Whatever, my parents are southerners." Olivia cut a small corner of the dressing and held it up to Fitz's lips. "Taste it." Fitz opened his mouth and Olivia slid the little square piece of dressing into his mouth. He made sure to suck on her finger for a moment before releasing it.

"That's really good."

"The food or my finger."

"You, but the food wasn't bad either. You know what you should do, you should put a little-"

"No, no, no, this is my mother's recipe, passed down from her mother. You do not change my mother's recipe ever okay on anything."

"That's right." Pam said, coming into the kitchen with McKenzie right behind her. "Now you and your fancy octopus cooking behind get out of my kitchen. Dinner will be ready in a minute."

"You too toots." Olivia said.

"Mommy."

Olivia cut McKenzie a small piece of dressing like Fitz's. "Out."

"…In Jesus name we pray amen." Ben finished blessing the food, and everyone took a seat at the table. Pam had made their traditional Thanksgiving meal menu, not changing a thing. There was Turkey, Macaroni and cheese casserole, squash casserole broccoli casserole, dressing, creamed corn, candied yams, greens, rice and giblet gravy, potato salad, deviled eggs, and yeast rolls. And although only a small amount of people ate them, there was a bucket of chitterlings made. But Ben made those himself. Pam refused to even touch some chitterlings, and he had to keep the pot in the kitchen. There was no way she was letting that go on her kitchen table with the rest of the food.

Ben was at the head of the table, with Pam to his right. Fitz was sitting three chairs down from him, in between Olivia's cousin MJ and his wife on his left. Olivia was to his right and Quinn was in front of her beside Fitz's mother on the other side of the table. Fitz's parents were sitting across from them beside Pam and Olivia's uncle Marshall Sr. and Grandma Dot was at the other end of the table. Mason was asleep in his bouncer beside Olivia's chair, and the rest of the kids were at a smaller fold out table beside them.

Fitz was once again shocked by how many family members Olivia actually had. When she said she didn't have much family, he took that to heart meaning she only had her parents. Now he'd met Dot, her Uncle Marshall and his son Marshall Jr. his wife and their two kids. And come to find out she has more family, although they don't live I DC, and Olivia hasn't seen them in years. She doubted she'd even recognize someone else from her family if they walked in the door right now.

Everyone started passing around the dishes family style. The kids were already eaten, their parents had already made their plates. Fitz reached for the fork for the spoon for the potato salad, when Olivia pulled his arm back. She instead reach for a smaller bowl of potato salad and put a spoon full of that on his plate as well. Fitz looked at her with a confused face, but she just shook her head at him.

"I saw that Olivia." Danielle, Marshall's wife, said. "Why can't he eat my potato salad? Something wrong with my food?"

"Of course not honey." Marshall said, placating his wife. Everyone knew Danielle couldn't cook. Not even a little bit. She would always bring food to family functions, and every time it would go to waste. Everyone knew better than to eat something Danielle cooked. Marshall had to suffer through her bad cooking, that didn't mean they had to.

"How come no one wants to eat my food?" Danielle asked, once she noticed no one had her potato salad on their plates. The difference between the two was very distinct. The one Pam made was firm with a good amount of pickled relish and a nice sprinkle of paprika on top. Danielle's, however, looked more like mashed potatoes.

"Danielle don't go getting your panties in a bunch." Dot said, as she took another deviled egg off the platter. "No one ever eats you food anyway. I don't know why you always insist on bringing food just for us to throw it away when you've gone."

"Grandma!" Marshall cried, while everyone else laughed. Including Gerry and Paula, who at least had the decency to try and hide their laughter.

"Oh hush Marshall. Just because you don't have the kahunas to tell your wife she can't cook, doesn't mean the rest of us have to suffer too."

"Marshall?" Danielle looked to Marshall for a response.

"Uh…"

Dot shook her head. "Danielle honey, I love you, but you should never be allowed in another kitchen. Lord only knows how many days I have left, I'd hate to drop dead from something you cooked."

"Okay momma, I think she gets it." Marshall Sr. said to his mother.

"Well I just wanted to make sure. Lord knows that son of yours was never going to tell her her food taste like some stale feet."

Olivia burst out laughing. Man did she love her grandmother. Dot was never one to hold her tongue, she said what she wanted and when she wanted. And it only seemed to get worse, the older she got. Olivia was still laughing, but the look her mother sent her had her swallowing the rest of it. Even at twenty eight years old, one stern look from her mother had her cowering.

"So Olivia, have you and Fitz decided on a date for the wedding yet?" Pam asked, taking the topic of discussion off Danielle's horrible cooking.

"We've only been engaged a few weeks mom."

"Your father and I knew after just days of being engaged. March 25th"

"Why March 25th" Marshall asked. Instead of answering herself, Pam looked to Ben to answer. She was testing him and he knew it. Lucky for him he knew the answer.

"That was the day we had our first date. I took Pam to see a play, and then we ate at her favorite Italian place." Ben answered, passing Pam's little test with flying colors. Unlike the time he forgot their anniversary.

"Well I think Liv and I both want a short engagement." Fitz said, holding onto Olivia's left and kissed her ring finger.

"I love that ring so much." Paula gushed. "I've always loved colored diamonds. It reminds me of the pink diamond ring Gerry got for me after he forgot our anniversary one year."

"Geez." Marshall said, "I forgot Marshall's mother's birthday once, and I paid for that too."

"Oh Gerry's forgotten my birthday once before. I got an early fortieth birthday present because he forgot my thirty-ninth."

"What was it?" Pam asked out of curiosity.

"A boat." Paula answered cheerfully. "We spent a month sailing in Bora Bora. He hasn't forgotten a birthday since."

"Yes, I learned my lesson the first time." Gerry said, making everyone laugh.

The rest of dinner went off without problem. There was a few disagreements about the games coming on, but other than that it went smoothly. After everyone was done eating, Olivia helped her mother cut the two cakes. One red velvet, which she normally on made for Christmas but Olivia requested it, and a lemon pound cake that grandma dot made and the banana pudding Olivia made.

"Pam I might have to give you a job as my new pastry chef. This is amazing." Fitz moaned as he forked another piece of the red velvet cake in his mouth. It was so moist and fluffy. "Thanks." He said, after Pam poured him a glass of cold milk.

"You're welcome. And I guess you should be praising my mother, it's her recipe."

"And you got Olivia to cook, Olivia hates cooking at home."

"Oh don't I know it. Those two would rather starve or order some greasy takeout, then go in that kitchen and cook some food. They'd wait all day for me to come home to cook." Pam cut a slice of one of the sweet potato pie's Olivia baked. "Now my baby isn't the best cook in the world, but she's pretty decent baker." Fitz laughed, because it was the truth. Olivia wasn't a terrible cook, but Fitz wouldn't hire her in his restaurant. But he'd never tell her that to her face. "You Fitz, I want to thank you."

"Me?"

"Yes. For loving my Livia and my grandbaby. For a while, I thought Olivia would never find the right man. After that bastard Michael and dick Ryan…" Fitz coughed into his glass of milk, as he took a sip. "I just thought Olivia would never find the right one. She'd always attracted these jerks. And let's face it, it's not easy for a woman of a certain age to find a man, yet alone a woman of a certain age with a two year old daughter and baggage problems. But then you showed up. And you showed Olivia what love is supposed to feel like. You should her how great really love could be. You've welcomed my granddaughter into your home with open arms. It takes a real man to raise another man's child and you did it without a blink of an eye. And now you've given me another grandbaby to spoil. And I know you haven't always had the best experiences with this family, but I want you to know that I am grateful for you. And although Ben doesn't always say it, he's grateful for you too."

Fitz sat his plate down and gave Pam a hug. "Thank you Ms. Pam."

"Ms. Pam? Really? I give you that heartfelt speech and I'm still Ms. Pam?" Fitz blushed in embarrassment. "I mean honestly, I haven't been promoted to Pam at least. You're about to marry my daughter, you can call me mom."

"Mom!" The both of them looked in the opposite direction, as Olivia came walking the kitchen carrying Mason and a bottle. "Can you please go get your brother? He's in there arguing with daddy about that darn game again. Uncle Marshall's insulted Alabama at least four times, and daddy if shoots him in the foot again, he'll probably blow off a toe this time."

"Lord those idiots probably put money on the game again." Pam left the kitchen to go sort out her husband and brother, leaving Olivia and Fitz alone.

"What were you two in here talking about?" Olivia asked, handing Mason over to Fitz to burp, while she finished off his piece of cake.

"Nothing, just a little chit chat." If his little chat with Pam did anything for Fitz, it only solidified what he'd been feeling since he proposed to Olivia. He didn't want a long engagement, he wanted to be married to Olivia as soon as possible. He wanted to finally be able to call Olivia his wife.

X

Later that night, after Olivia and Fitz finally left the Pope house, Olivia was finally nestled between the sheets in her comfortable bed. She'd taken McKenzie a bath and got her ready for bed, while Fitz got Mason ready for bed. She read McKenzie two stories before she went to sleep. When she got to her room, she quickly showered without Fitz and got ready for bed. She was putting on her pajamas, as Fitz finished up his own shower.

She had just closed her eyes, when Fitz came into the room. He climbed into the bed with his hair and skin still damp from his shower, in his cotton pajama bottoms and no underwear. Olivia could feel he was going commando again, he didn't like to sleep in underwear, just as she didn't like to sleep in a bra. He wrapped his arm around Olivia from behind, and squeezed her tight. Olivia snuggled deeper into his embrace, loving the strong scent of his bath wash and the minty smell of his toothpaste on his breath. She loved how protected she could feel anytime she was cocooned his big strong arms.

When Fitz gently kissed the back and side of her neck Olivia moaned, but she wasn't giving him anything else. She was tired and not in the mood tonight. She'd been on her feet all day long, and going nonstop to help her mother ensure Thanksgiving dinner went off without a hitch. She might have been running on an adrenaline rush earlier, but now she was bone tired.

"Livvie I've been thinking."

"'Bout what?" Olivia mumbled into her pillow. Not that she didn't love her pillow talk nights with Fitz. But right now, she just wished he'd save this conversation until morning when she'd actually remember it

"Our wedding."

"And?"

"And I've been thinking, that I don't want a long engagement."

"We won't honey."

"Well how long were you thinking."

"I don't now honey, it takes time to plan a great wedding. Months, ten, eleven, maybe twelve."

"Livvie that's a year. A yearlong engagement isn't long to you?"

"Well Fitz how long do you want it to be? When do you want to get married?"

"I want to be married before the new year."

Olivia had kept her back to Fitz this entire conversation, but that comment deserved face to face answer. By the new year is he insane? They were already in the last week of November, which left only December to plan their wedding. Olivia couldn't plan a fabulous wedding in that small time frame. And she refused to have some quickie, in and out wedding. This would be the third happiest day of her life, next to the birth of her daughter and son. She wouldn't just settle on any part of the planning.

Olivia turned over to her other side in the bed to face Fitz. "You do realize what month we are in right?"

"Yes."

"Baby I can't plan our wedding in a month."

"You won't be doing it alone Livvie, I'll be here to help you with everything."

"Baby a month is just not long enough to plan a proper wedding. I am not some barely legal, pregnant, teenage bride. I refuse to have some shotgun wedding."

Fitz laughed just a little bit, it was funny. "It won't be a shotgun wedding honey, I promise. It will still be the wedding you want."

"Do you realize how much time it takes to even find a venue? And then once you do find a place you like it could be so booked up, that you're waiting almost a year for a date to open up."

"Livvie honey, I promise you that I will get you anything you want for our wedding. You want a venue it's yours. Whatever caterer you want, whatever band or DJ, you want some flowers from the other side of the world, I will make sure they are here on our wedding day. I will hire the best wedding planner in the business to make sure our wedding happens before this year is over with."

"Why is this so important? Why is getting married before the year ends so important to you?"

"Because I have been waiting for this day for my entire life Liv. I didn't know how happy I could be in a relationship until I met you. You and Kenzie and Mason have changed me, and only for the better. I can only imagine how much better our lives will get after I can call you Mrs. Grant."

"Shit, you bastard, take off your pants." Olivia had already connected her mouth with Fitz's as she rolled on top of him, before he could even speak. Yeah, just a few short moments ago she was tired, but damn that man if he wasn't charismatic and charming son of a gun. That little speech of his lit a fire under Olivia's as and an ache in her belly.

"Wait." Fitz spoke between Olivia's assault on his lips. "Is this a yes?"

"Yes." Olivia connected their lips once more, only for Fitz to pull back yet again.

"I thought you were tired."

"I could go back to sleep if you prefer."

"No thank you."

Fitz flipped them over, so he was on top. Fitz took off his shirt that she was wearing, while at the same time, Olivia used her feet to push his pajama bottoms down past his hip. Olivia gripped his erection in her hand, and gave it a light squeeze. She appreciated the sharp intake of breath and she gently stroked his hardening manhood in her hands. She loved how full he felt in her hands, how strong he felt. She'd never gotten this much pleasure out of pleasuring another man.

When Fitz couldn't take anymore, he pushed Olivia's hands away, and pulled her panties down her hips. Olivia held her legs up in the air as Fitz pulled them past her feet. She dropped her legs open on either side of Fitz's body, when he'd finally rid her of the garment.

Fitz took a moment, knelt on his knees, admiring the view in front of him as he rubbed slow circles on her thighs. Olivia had always been a beautiful woman, with an incredible body. But Fitz had to admit, he loved her post baby body even more. Her breast were now just a tad bit fully, and spilled over in his hands. Her hips were wider and they had him in a trance, anytime Olivia sashayed across a room. And he loved how her thick thighs wrapped around him, squeezing him tight as he brought her to the highest point of ecstasy.

"I don't need foreplay tonight baby." Olivia moaned, rubbing Fitz's abs as best she could from her position on the bed.

Fitz smirked. She was just as ready and eager as he was. Fitz leaned down, holding himself up with his elbows. He softly kissed Olivia's lips. "I love you Livvie." He spoke, as he slowly slid inside of her, finally finding home.

Olivia's back arched off the bed, and her moans filled the room. "I… love you too."

Until Next Time...
