Hello everyone and sorry for my tardiness. On Friday i have an exam and Saturday was my b-day, so i was kind of busy, but here i brought another chapter of this story : D
Well, this one i think is one of the shortest of all, sorry, but still there are a lot of surprises, not good ones, i'm warning you, from here on the complications starts
It has already been a month since she made me a visit, since then Aomine was glued to me. Even the kids sensed something was amiss and so they tagged along too. I was happy that we were all the time together. I was, but I needed time alone from time to time, but this is something they didn't understand. Aomine refused to let me any second alone, he will accompany me to even the bath. I was really tired. I had to sneak away someway or another.
I awoke earlier than him today. I sat for awhile to stare at his sleeping features. He sure is gorgeous. I can't still believe we are engaged. I smiled at that. I leaned down and I kissed him softly as to not awake him. I sat on the edge of the bed and I stretched my arms. I give him one last glance before I stood and I left the room. I closed the door slowly as to not make any noise or awake him.
I started walking down the corridor when I came to stop. I turned around and I found those two little following me. I smiled warmly and I approached them, they smiled sheepishly. I kneeled at their level.
I ruffled their heads "What are you doing up so early?"
"Well, we heard a door opening and we went out to see who it was" she paused "And when we saw it was you… we, well, papa has asked us to watch you, so we were doing as we were told"
Himuro nodded "Yeah, papa asked us to watch you, so we were doing it… so don't get mad at us" he lowered his head.
I hugged them "How I'm going to get mad at you both?" I looked at them "Want to go playing?"
They nodded happily. I held their hands and we walked towards the garden, everything was quiet and calm. It was normal because everyone was sleeping soundly, and I didn't expect the kids to wake up so early. We exited the gallery and we stepped out in the garden. It was still a bit chilly. I looked down at them and I saw them shivering. I laughed.
"Do you want to go back in?" I asked.
Himuro shook his head "I want to play with papa and sis"
Alex nodded "Yeah, me too"
"Okay then, what do you want to play?" I asked.
"I want to play hide and seek like in the past" Himuro beamed.
I scratched the back of my neck "Well, I don't know"
"Papa, it will be fine" Alex tried to reassure me.
I sighed "Fine"
Himuro smiled contently "Then you count and we go to hide"
"Please, be careful" I said worried.
Himuro scoffed "Papa, I'm not a little kid. I can take care of myself"
I looked at him "Yeah, you are right. Well, then go to hide, okay?"
They nodded. I turned around and I began to count. I heard then rushing to hide. I smiled instantly. When I was done counting I turned and I started to search for them, but I couldn't find them. They know how to hide themselves.
And then I heard a scream, it was Alex'. I turned into a werewolf without a second thought and I rushed to her aid, in front of her was a hooded figure. I stood in front of her. Soon my son appeared in his wolf form. I told him to take her out of here and to warn the others.
The figure didn't make a move to go after them, it looked at me and I growled, showing my sharp fangs in a warning way. It stepped forward in my direction but I didn't budge. I stood there in a menacing pose, but the figure wasn't scare at all. I maintained my position as hard as I could, because I could feel myself shaking from the pain I was feeling.
Soon Aomine appeared and rushed to my side. I looked at him, he wasn't looking at me, and instead he was glaring at the hooded figure. The figure looked at both of us and went into the woods. Aomine was going after it when he heard my painful cry, he rushed to me. I was back in my human form. I couldn't hold any longer my werewolf form. The last thing I saw was his worried face before I blacked out. Soon I was surrounded by darkness.

Aomine rushed to the unconscious figure of Kise. He leaned over and held him, he rushed back to the castle, and the kids were standing there waiting for their parents to come back. They were the ones whom warned Aomine and when they told him, he rushed out as fast as he could.
He looked at the kids "Go tell Akashi-sama" and then he fixated his eyes on Kise "Shh, Kise, everything will be fine" he kissed Kise's forehead.
The blond was shivering in his arms, was trembling in pain. Soon Akashi was with the kids on the garden. He looked at Aomine and then at Kise, he rushed to their side wearing a concerned expression, wondering what had happened.
His eyes fixated in Kise "What happened?" Akashi asked worried.
Aomine couldn't tear his eyes from Kise "I don't know, he was playing with the kids and someone appeared, then the kids came to me and I rushed to him, when I found him, he was on his wolf form and in front of him was a hooded figure, when the figure was running away I was about to follow it but then I heard him crying painfully" he paused and his hold became stronger "He was in his human form shaking violently, that's all"
"Daiki, don't worry. Let's get him inside" Akashi turned to the kids "Go and tell Midorima to come to Daiki's room"
They walked towards the room in silence, when they were there Akashi opened the door and Aomine stepped in. He laid Kise on the bed carefully, and when Kise was placed on the bed he started to shake even more. Aomine held the blond' hand and when the blond feel his strong hands he felt calm and stooped shaking. Midorima entered the room and looked at them, and then his eyes landed on the blond that was on bed.
"What happened to Kise?" he asked worried approaching the figure that lay on the bed.
Akashi looked at him "He turned into his wolf form and when he was back to his human one, he lost consciousness"
Midorima sat next to Kise to inspect him "This is really odd. He seems fine, he should be awake"
Aomine turned to look at him "Then why isn't he awaking?" he asked agitated.
Midorima sighed "That's something I will like to know"
Alex chimed in "What's wrong with papa?"
Himuro walked towards them "Why isn't he awaking?"
"Is he sick?" she asked.
Himuro turned to look at her "No, papa isn't sick" he said with a frown.
Alex looked at him "Then why isn't he awaking? He must be it"
Himuro shook his head "No, he isn't! Papa is fine!" he yelled.
"He isn't when he isn't awaking!" she yelled back.
The kids started to bicker at each other. They kept yelling at each other until Aomine's patient wore thin. He couldn't have this now, not the kids fighting when Kise was lying on the bed unconscious, not knowing what was wrong with him so he did the only thing he could.
"STOP! Now leave, go to your room and stay there. No more fights, you hear me!" Aomine yelled strongly.
The kids flinched at their father's tone and left quickly, before they could anger his father any further. Alex has never seen his father that mad and Himuro has never seen someone that angry, so they didn't stay to see how the situation will unfold. Akashi looked at Aomine and sighed when he saw that he regretted what he's just done.
"Daiki, calm down, don't worry. They will understand, and I'm sure they know you weren't really mad. Now let's focus on Ryouta" Akashi said.
Aomine nodded "Yeah, you are right"
Midorima looked at them "I will like to take Kise to a room where he will be isolated"
Aomine glared at him "He won't leave our room"
Midorima sighed "Aomine, we have to take him"
Before Aomine could retort Akashi spoke "Daiki, we will do as Shintaro says, he is the one who knows what he is doing"
Aomine scoffed but he did as he was told. He took Kise in his arms and followed Akashi and Midorima. They entered a room that he has never seen before, he looked around, and there wasn't any window, only the door. He left Kise on the bed that was placed on the empty room. Midorima and Akashi took him out of the room. Akashi locked the door and Aomine raised his brows.
"What the hell are you doing?" Aomine growled.
Akashi looked at him "Go to your room, Daiki"
Aomine gritted his teeth "I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying here with him"
Midorima sighed "Aomine, is for the best that you leave, he told me that if he ever shifted to his wolf form that we should lock him on a room and let him alone"
"Why?" Aomine asked.
Midorima sighed "That's something I, myself, asked but he didn't want to answer" he paused "I went to ask the other two hybrids and they didn't answer me either, but the way they looked when I asked answered me" Midorima looked at Aomine "Is something really awful, that's for sure"
Aomine looked at Akashi "Then more reasons to stay by his side"
"No, Daiki. He asked us to leave him alone and that's what we are going to do" Akashi sighed tiredly "Look, go with the kids they need you now. Tatsuya seemed agitated for some reason, perhaps he knows something. After all he almost started a fight with his sister for this"
Aomine rubbed his eyes "Fine"
He then left. Midorima turned to look at Akashi, this one was looking at Kise's door, he was narrowing his eyes and then a tired sigh left his lips. He now turned to Midorima. Akashi gestured him to go too and he did as he was told. Akashi stood there looking at the door for awhile. He knew Kise was hiding something from them and it was confirmed when he heard a muffled scream coming from the room, over and over again. It looked like something was tearing Kise apart. He walked towards the door and lifted his hand. He shook his head. He couldn't break his promise, no matter what is going on behind that door he couldn't enter, so very reluctantly he went.
Aomine was walking towards the room of the kids, he was nervous. He didn't know what to say to them, he wasn't expecting to raise his voice at them but in that moment he lost it. He sighed and stepped in the room, and he couldn't believe what he saw. Himuro was sitting on the bed back at Alex, and she was on the other bed in the same way. He closed the door behind and only Alex turned to look at him. She stood and walked towards Aomine. He kneeled and she rushed to his arms. Aomine hugged her.
"What's wrong my baby girl?" Aomine asked softly.
"I'm sorry. I didn't want to make you mad" she paused "Is just that I was worried about dad"
He rubbed her head "Is fine, I know and I'm sorry for yelling at you both"
"Don't be sad papa, I'm sorry we worried you" she said with a big smile.
He sighed contently and then looked at Himuro "Hey, are you okay?"
Himuro just flinched. He didn't respond, he bit his lower lip and clenched his small fists. Aomine walked towards him and Alex followed behind him. He kneeled in front of him but Himuro wouldn't glance at him.
"Himuro, little, what's wrong?" Aomine asked.
Himuro gritted his teeth even more "Himu, stop this. Papa is worried about you" Alex said.
Himuro looked at her "He isn't my father and never would be. My only papa is Kise" he paused "So stop saying all of that" he held a whimper "I just want my papa back" he glared at Aomine "I shouldn't have come here. We were better off without you"
Alex slapped Himuro "Stop that! Papa is doing everything for both of us. Himuro we are a family now, you think Kise will be happy if he heard you saying that?"
Himuro's eyes went wide and then he started to cry "But papa is sick again" he started rubbing his teary eyes. Alex wrapped her arms around him in a protecting way "I'm scared, sis. I don't want papa to die" she rubbed his back in a soothing way.
"Shh, is fine Himu, papa will protect us all, he will save dad" she said in a reassuring way.
Himuro pulled away and looked at Aomine "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it" he lunged at Aomine "I love you too, papa" he whimpered "Please, forgive me"
Aomine held him strongly against his chest "Shh, I know. I love you too my baby"
Himuro broke down crying even harder and soon Alex joined him. Aomine sat on the bed hugging his sons, each one in one side. He rubbed their backs in a soothing way.
The words that Himuro had told him had hurt him really badly but he couldn't blame the kid. The kid felt lost and scared and he vented it out on Aomine, and he understood, he used to do that in the past a lot. He stayed there until the kids fell slept. He lay with them and stayed there to sleep with them.

Aomine was sleeping soundly, two warms sources next to him. He was starting to sweat. He began to open his eyes. He looked around and saw his sons snuggling closer to him. He had been sleeping with them since Kise started being on that room.
He smiled softly, he draw them even closer not minding the hotness of their bodies. Then he turned around and saw Kise sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked really pale and tired. He looked at the unsleeping Aomine and smiled contently. He rubbed Himuro's hair and sighed.
"They look really comfort here. You are a wonderful father, Aominecchi" Kise stated.
"Oi, Kise, are you better now?" Aomine asked worried.
Kise now looked at Aomine "Aominecchi, I really love you"
Aomine sat but carefully as to not awake the kids "Oi, what the hell? Is something wrong, Kise?"
Kise caressed Aomine's cheek "I don't know anymore" tears began to stream down his face "Aominecchi, I'm going with Midorimacchi for awhile. Could you make me the favor to take care of our kids?"
Aomine grabbed his hand "What do you mean that you are going? Where? Why? Kise, tell me what is going on"
Kise shook his head and pointed at the kids "Not here, let's go out"
Aomine nodded and climbed down the bed, watching not to awake the kids. He then followed Kise out of the room and closed the door. Kise hugged him suddenly, snuggling his face on his chest. Aomine wrapped his arms around him.
"So, why are you going?" Aomine asked softly.
"Aominecchi, I'm dying" Kise stated softly.
Aomine pulled him away to look at his face, to find a trace that Kise was telling a lie but he wasn't. His face looked sorrowful. And the vampire' heart sunk, this wasn't something he wanted to hear. Finally they were together and were a family, why did this have to happen now?
"Kise, this can't be…but how? Since when do you know?" Aomine asked above a whisper.
Kise looked at him "Aominecchi, I know it since I had Himucchi with me. I'm pretty sure there is no cure for what I have there" he paused and looked down "It spreading at really high speediness, and when I turned into a wolf I just worsened it" he sighed tiredly "Please, just take care of them" he caressed Aomine's cheek "I wished so much to marry you"
Aomine cupped his hand "And you will when you return"
Kise smiled bitterly "Yeah, sure. Will you wait for me, Aominecchi?"
Aomine took his hand and kissed him tenderly "Always, Kise, I will be waiting for you to come back"
Kise couldn't hold his tears anymore "Thanks, Aominecchi"
Aomine kissed his forehead "I love you, Kise"
Kise leaned into the kiss "I love you too, Aominecchi" he then pulled away "Goodbye"
"Better say see you later, okay?" Aomine responded.
Kise chuckled and brushed their lips together and then he left, without answering the bluenet question. Aomine stood there watching the blond figure walking further and further away from his reach. He clenched his fists and leaned over the wooden door.
He entered the room when he heard the kids awaking. The kids looked at him and he looked back, he walked towards them and sat on the edge, he explained to them that Kise was going with Midorima but that he would return. He expected them to cry but they didn't. They just nodded and accepted the news.
That was the last day they saw Kise.
