Hello everyone!
Merry Christmas!

Enjoy the new chapter!

Waking up in a daze, I quickly realized I was in the back of a car with my wrist zip tied together. Shifting onto my back I started kicking at the window, causing the driver to stop the car. All of a sudden Tyler Lockwoods face came into view.
"Seriously? You don't want to fight me, Liz. You know you can't beat a hybrid."
He reached down and tied my feet together, causing me to scream, demanding he let me go.
"You backstabbing, half-breed piece of shit!"
"Shut up!"
Tyler slung me over his shoulder and started to carry me as I continued to call him everything under the sun.

As the sun came up Tyler dropped me on the porch of a rundown shack. Looking around it didn't take long to realize I was back in the lovely Bayou, looking at Tyler I jumped when I realized he had a knife.
"What are you gonna do with that?"
"Depends on you."
I sighed, watching the hybrid in annoyance, as he cut my legs free.
"Hey, you attacked me, remember? You ambushed me in my own backyard."
"It's not your back yard it's Klaus'. You're shacked up in a mansion with that psycho, a long way from the girl Trey protected."
"Tyler, I'm sorry, but a lot has happened since the last time I saw you."
"You mean like how you're pregnant?"
He scoffed as I glared at him.
"A hybrid baby, yeah. I know all about it. I've been roaming around the Bayou asking questions. Let me tell you what I learned. You killed a werewolf that was part of huge clan that's considered royalty around here."
Hearing foot steps I looked up to see a man in a grey wife beater and jeans walking up to us.
"Is that her?"
"Yeah, Dwayne. Get her inside."
I gasped as the larger man grabbed my shoulders and forced me into the tinny shack. Zip tying me to the old stove in the corner I wouldn't let myself panic, not yet anyway. After a few minutes Tyler walked in.
"Whatever you think your doing, you know the whole Original family has made some sort of pact or something to keep me and the baby safe. So if you hurt me, they'll kill you."
"What makes you think I'm afraid to die?"
The door opened revealing Dwayne.
"You ready for this?"
"Let's do it."
"What are you doing?"
I forced my back into the wall as Tyler pulled out a syringe with a long needle, panic setting in as Dwayne moved to hold me still.
"Tyler please no!"
"Klaus destroyed everything good in my life. So I'm gonna take away the thing he wants most."
I screamed as he shoved the needle into my stomach, taking some of my blood before pulling the needle out and injecting Dwayne with it before snapping his neck.
"Don't get all judgey. Dwayne knew what he was getting into. He volunteered."
"For you to kill him?"
"Dwayne is a werewolf who died with your blood in his system, same blood you share with your hybrid baby."
"You're trying to turn him. That's impossible."
"Been running with wolf packs all over the country. One of them was tight with a witch. She had nightmare visions about your baby and how Klaus could use it's blood to make an army of hybrid slaves."
I sighed.
"I am sick of these witches and the premonitions about my baby. It's just a baby."
"Maybe. Maybe not. That's where Dwayne comes in. You see, he was happy to be the test case. If you haven't noticed, theses people don't have much to live for. They'd all welcome the chance to become the superior species. Trouble is, all hybrids are sired to Klaus. They follow his every move. No way I'd let that happen."
"How can you be so sure Klaus knows what the baby's blood will do?"
"What do you think? Klaus Mikaelson…Killer of men, women, and puppies all of a sudden wants to be a daddy, or he's got an ulterior motive. Hybrids can walk in the sun. Their bite is lethal to vampires. They'll take over New Orleans by the end of the week. And you know what's gonna stop Klaus then? Nothing."
Dwayne gasping broke our conversation, Tyler spun around to look at him, looked at me and back at him.
"You're gonna have to feed on her."
"What? No."
I screamed as Tyler pulled out a knife and cut my throat.
"Do it."
As Dwayne stood up and was about to tear into my throat I screamed no as loud as I could, causing the new hybrid to pause and turn and attack Tyler the two wrestling out the door, turning I focused my energy on the plastic on my wrist, concentrating on my magic to burn the plastic off. Spotting Tyler's knife I grabbed it and moved back to my spot, knowing I wouldn't be able to out run the hybrid, not when I was injured.
Finally after a few minutes Tyler walked back in.
"It worked, didn't it? He's a hybrid."
"If Klaus gets a hold of you, if he gets that kid, he wins."
I sighed, knowing exactly how to play the hybrid.
"Then help me hide the baby from him. Help me run."
"He'll find you. He'll take your kid away, and he'll make more hybrid monsters, slaves who do everything he says."
I sighed as he stalked towards me.
"Tyler, whatever you're thinking of doing, there has to be another way. You're not like this."
As he stepped closer I pulled out the knife and stabbed him in the lower stomach, standing up I was ready to take off when Dwayne walked back inside, Tyler yelling at him to get back outside, thinking on my feet I decided to try something.
"Dwayne he's trying to kill me, he's gonna kill you, too. He said that Hybrids are to dangerous to live. You need to stop him."
With that the two hybrids were in a fight, taking my chance I took off running as Tyler ripped Dwayne's heart out. Running through the woods I finally hid behind a tree to catch my breath, as footsteps started to approach I made a black ball form in my hand and turned ready to attack Tyler only to find my wrist stopped by Elijah, pulling my magic back I smiled at him in relief.
"Forgive me. Thought you were in danger it appears I was mistaken."
As he let go of my wrist I hugged the vampire.
"Took you long enough."
He paused before hugging me around the waist, we stayed like that for a moment before he pulled back.
"Let me take you home."
I reached and grabbed his arm.
"Elijah."
He stopped and looked at me.
"There's something you need to know about the baby."
I launched into my tale of what happened, how I was kidnapped, Tyler taking my blood, Dwayne listening to my command like he was sired to me, Tyler killing him, everything.
"I don't know what to think Elijah, there's no way he could have known that, could he?"
Elijah sighed.
"I should take you home."
"Are you serious? Home to what?"
"Look. Regardless of my brother's intentions, mine remain the same. I said that I would protect you, even, if need be, from Klaus himself."
I snorted.
"I can take care of myself."
We glared at each other, reminding me how rocky our friendship was.
"We should look for Nik, get some answers."
Elijah nodded and lead the way, reaching the shack I had been taken to I was surprised to see Nik as he kicked Dwayne's body.
"This would appear to be the body of a hybrid."
"His name was Dwayne."
"Well, whoever he was, I didn't sire him. Any idea how that's possible?"
I sighed, getting the feeling Nik didn't know what happened. As I moved towards him Elijah pulled me back, causing Nik to smile as Elijah walked towards him.
"Aren't you two fast friends? Well, come on, then. What horrible accusation have you conspired to levy against me?"
I blinked back tears, hurt he would think I was conspiring against him. Elijah spoke up, somehow making the matter at hand worse.
"Tyler Lockwood brought Liz here to test a theory, that the blood of her child could be used to sire hybrids. He claims you knew that. Furthermore, you intended to use that knowledge to build an army."
At the hurt look on Nik's face I sighed.
"And, of course, you assume it's true. I mean, why else would I show any interest in my own flesh and blood? A heartbroken, little crybaby points his finger at me, and my own brother falls in line, eager to believe it. How quickly you assume the worst, especially when it comes from her."
I glared at him.
"Oh, spare me your indignation. When have you ever demonstrated any kind of concern towards Liz or her child beyond your own selfish pursuits, and what was it you once said to me? "Every king needs an heir.""
At that I took a step forward.
"My big brother, so you doubt my intentions. Well, I can't say I'm surprised. Standing beside the noble Elijah, how can I be anything but the lesser brother? A liar, a manipulator, a bastard?"
Watching Nik walk towards Elijah I knew something bad was going to happen, I could hear in the instability in Nik's voice.
"That's all I am to you, isn't it, and to Rebecca, and judging by the way Elizabeth hangs on your every word, it's clear she feels the same way. No doubt, my child will, as well."
Taking a step back I knew not to get in the way.
"Brother, if I"
"We've said all that needs to be said, brother."
Watching Nik take a step back with his hands raised I raised an eyebrow, wondering what he was up to.
"I'll play the role I've been given."
And my question was answered as he turned and sunk his werewolf teeth into Elijah's neck.
"Damn it Nik!"
I knelt down and looked at Elijah's neck as Nik stood up.
"You two enjoy each other's company."
Stepping over the older brother I slapped Nik across the face, focusing a little bit of magic into my hand so he would actually feel it.
"How dare you, I have been by your side through every stupid thing you've done, I'm pregnant with your child for the second time, I fucking forgave you for cheating on me with that bitch Hayley! Now, if you want to save even a little of the relationship we have you will either heal him or take him back to the house."
Elijah grunted behind me and stood up.
"Liz, it's fine, I'll be ok."
"No you won't."
He sighed and made me face him.
"Yes I will, it won't kill me, go with NiKlaus, you will be safer with him than out here with me."
"But."
"Do this for me Liz."
With tears in my eyes I nodded and followed Nik in silence, knowing I would sneak Elijah into the house the first chance I got.

So what do we think?
