At base…
Nitto: What the hell was that?
Midori: Why are you asking us?
Nitto: I thought since you guys lived in the monster world you'd know more than I do.
Moku: I've flown all over the world. I've seen, terrible things. Man eaters. Monster driven insane Nittoby disease or drought, but I have never seen anything like what we just saw.
Rasi: How do we stop it. We cut one head off and two more just take its place.
Nitto: Maybe we just need to attack the body. Let's try again.
Back in the cave…
Nitto: THE SLIME IS JUST SLIDING OFF!
Nitto's Dios Slicers were depositing Slime, but the hide was so slick it wouldn't stick. This monster was immune to Slime.
Rasi tries to cut the body with his claws, when they get stuck.
Rasi: Hrn. My claws are stuck. His hide is like rubber. You puncture it and it just expands and reseals.
The monster launches a beam of water in Rasi's face and knocks him out, claws still embedded in its hide.
Nitto: RASI! Midori grab him and get him off of that thing.
Midori bolts to Rasi, dodging the numerous heads and water beams coming at her. She get to him and tries to pull his claws out.
SHINK!
Midori manages to free Rasi.
Nitto: Get him in the water, he can hold his breath for hours at a time. He'll be safe thee.
Midori goes to the mouth of the cave and drops Rasi into the water.
Moku: *Stuns the monster with a Fireball* Ok we need some answers. How do we stop this thing?
Nitto: Let's see, we can't attack the heads, the body is impossible to puncture without getting our weapons stuck. We're screwed.
BOOM!
All the heads of the monster come off at once. None of them come back.
Nitto: What?
A huntress wearing Ivory Lagiacrus gunner armor and wielding a heavy bowgun, (Not sure which one it is, but it's the one in the opening scene of MH4U) jumps down from the upper part of the cave with a Felyne.
?: You guys need help? Name's Jacklyne, of course my nickname is Jackie. This is Medic.
Medic: Meet the Medic. Nyaha.
Nitto: I'm Nitto. This is Moku, Midori, and Rasi is unconscious in the water, don't worry he can hold his breath for hours.
Jackie: That monster was a Hydrioth. The only way to kill it is to make sure that all heads are severed at the same time. It's the only reason I use the bowgun, because blade's are almost impossible to beat it with.
Nitto: Well the reward is yours, I'll head back home.
Jackie: I'll come with. Your partners are freaking cool.
Back at Moga...
Chief: I see. So that's what happened. Unusual indeed. Oh where are my manners? Thank you kind huntress. You have helped Moga in a difficult situation.
Jackie: I'm no hero. I'm just doing my job.
Chief: Well regardless, the village thanks you.
A few days later...
Diala: NITTO, JACKIE!
Nitto: She sounds panicked. *Runs over to Diala with Jackie* What's going on?
Diala: It's the Alatreon. It's back, and... there's something wrong with it. It's gone insane. There are corpses of small and some large monsters that have been mutilated beyond belief. This behavior is not natural, not even for an aggressive monster like the Alatreon. I don't care if you're not ready. Exterminate it immediately.
Jackie: We're on it.
Nitto: No. This is my fight. I appreciate you want to help, but this is personal.
Jackie: *Sighs* You men and your pride. Fine. I'll stay here.
Nitto grabbed an item set he predetermined for this fight. It is as follows... All 5 Combo Books, 10 Potions and Mega Potions, 5 Nutrients and Mega Nutrients, 10 Dragon Toadstools, 10 Exciteshrooms, 10 Energy Drinks, 10 Honey, 2 Max Potions, 1 Ancient Potion, 1 Armor Charm, 1 Armor Talon, 1 Power Talon, and 1 Power Charm. (This is my actual and exact itemset for the Alatreon) He also bought the Spectral Demolishers, and a very particular set of armor. (Not sure if this is exactly what I use, but it's close) G Rank Dober Helmet, Silver Solmail, Golden Lunecoil, Dober Greaves (I think it's Greaves), and the Goldbeard Ceadus arm armor. (Can't remember what it's called) He also put on a Dragon Talisman that gave him 11 Fire Resistance and he put on a few Nul-Dragon decorations, and the rest were Nul-Thunder. (This is exactly what I use and everything. It's a good mix of armor)
Nitto brought Bora, Midori, and Rasi.
They proceeded to the bottom of the cliff, and what they found put fear into al their hearts. There she was. The Alatreon, but, it was different. It's eyes were glowing red, its scales had a slightly more red tinge to it, and there was purple smoke coming out of its mouth. Something was severely wrong.
(Ok I'm about to fight my first ever Tigrex. Though this will be more difficult than most everyone else's, because my first Tigrex is... infected)
