Chapter Twenty-Six
Torture
Back in the dungeon, the turtles, Splinter, April and Casey waited for many agonizing minutes.
Michelangelo was shivering with fear and cold, Donatello and Leonardo tried to keep him warm as well as talk to Raphael who was muffling through his muzzle and pulling at his chains, in fact he had struggled so hard he was bleeding from the wrists and down his arms.
April and Casey held each other close trying to keep warm in the cold dungeon and Splinter tried to breath despite being strapped tightly to a table.
It wasn't long before they all heard footsteps and Arashi appeared with several ninja with their faces covered.
Upon seeing them, Raphael began yelling through his muzzle and struggling against his chains.
Leonardo looked up and his eyes blazed.
"Arashi!" he snarled "Where's Mona!?"
Arashi smirked.
"Oh she's safe...Dr Arden is taking good care of her, have no fear..." he walked over to Splinter and produced a sharp blade.
The turtles, April and Casey's eyes widened at the sight of the blade.
Splinter looked up and glared at Arashi.
"You better not have hurt my daughter!" he growled "Nor my grandchild!"
Arashi laughed.
"A rat! As a grandfather...I never heard anything more absurd!" he placed the knife on Splinter's shoulder and sliced him causing the rat to gasp in pain.
"Leave him alone!" April screamed over.
Arashi turned to the ninja behind him.
"Get the blue masked turtle! Put him in the torture chair!" he ordered.
The other turtles eyes widened.
"NO!" cried Michelangelo.
Raphael struggled again against his chains and roared through his muzzle
"My son!" Splinter cried.
Donatello tried to shield Leonardo but two ninja shocked him cattle prods then went for Leonardo who tried to struggle but he was grabbed and pulled out of the cage and towards the chair that sat in the middle of the dungeon.
The ninja strapped Leonardo's wrists and ankles to the chair then Arashi stood before him.
"Leonardo..." he said in a low voice "The leader of the ninja turtles, Splinter's heir and the most hated turtle of the Shredder, I remember feeling disappointed when you didn't walk into the trap I set over two years ago, and even more so when you didn't die from your wound..."
He stared at the scar on Leonardo's stomach.
"If it wasn't for that whore...I would have claimed the title as the one who slew the leader of the Ninja turtles." Arashi continued making Leonardo snarl "But after a while, I believe it to be a blessing in disguise, as Shredder may want to kill you himself once we locate him."
"You'll never find Chrell!" Leonardo growled.
Arashi slapped Leonardo in retaliation making everyone gasp.
"You underestimate my good Doctor and Scientist." Arashi smirked "You do not know his genius!"
He then stepped back as the two ninja who grabbed him walked over with a car battery and wires which they hooked to Leonardo's chest, feet and fingers.
"No matter what you do to me..." Leonardo spat "You'll get no word from me!"
Arashi smirked again.
"Oh I don't intend on asking questions or making you confess!" he nodded at the ninja who powered up the car battery.
Leonardo's eyes widened but before he could say anything he felt many shocks of powerful electricity course through his body.
He could hear the screams and protests of his brothers, sensei, April and Casey behind the ninja as the surges went through him.
Arashi laughed gleefully as Leonardo was shocked.
"Look at the famous leader of the ninja turtles now!" he jeered "Strapped down and helpless! Unable to help his family!"
Leonardo looked up, dazed and showing signs of electrical burns on his body.
"How exactly are you going to help your family now?" Arashi taunted. Leonardo snarled again and spat bloodied saliva at Arashi causing him to recoil in disgust.
The ninja then zapped Leonardo again with the electricity causing the turtle to cry out in agony.
"That's enough!" Arashi said "Now leave him to linger in agony! He won't die from his wounds!"
"My Son!" Splinter yelled from the table nearby.
"You coward!" April screamed at Arashi "You have no honour! Striking a warrior at his most vulnerable!"
Donatello and Michelangelo also yelled in anger and fear at their brother's torture.
Raphael began pulling at his chains and screamed through his mask; he didn't care about the pain in his wrists and around his neck but he wanted to get to Arashi and rip the evil man apart with his bare hands.
At the sounds of the other prisoners shouting Arashi narrowed his eyes.
"Shut them up!" he ordered the ninja who walked over to the cells, one ninja stuck a cattle prod through Raphael's cell bars and shocked him but the hot headed turtle was relentless and was shaking his head in madness.
Leonardo hung his head in pain as blood and tears ran down his face.
As the ninja continued to prod Raphael, Arashi laughed louder and began to taunt him.
"I have to say Raphael..." he said cruelly "Your mate is indeed feisty...yet so innocent and helpless when strapped to a hospital bed!"
Raphael roared and struggled more, blood running freely from his wrists, the other ninja looked terrified, even the one prodding Raphael looked nervous.
"If Dr Arden is able to determine if the baby is healthy enough..." Arashi continued "then I will take much joy in seeing for myself what that creature's qualities are..."
"YOU MONSTER!" Donatello screamed "YOU MONSTER!"
Michelangelo also lashed out despite being chained up.
Arashi turned to the ninja outside their cages.
"Take the orange masked one! Suspend him from the ceiling!"
"NO!" Donatello screamed as he tried to pull Michelangelo close to him, but he was kicked in the face and shocked with prods as Michelangelo was dragged out of the cell and into the main torture chamber where he was chained by his wrists and ankles and pulled up a few feet in the air.
"Micheangelo!" Splinter cried in fear.
The other turtles, April and Casey cried out in horror as they saw Michelangelo get suspended horizontally above the ground and Arashi walked over to him.
"Now...with the turtle like this" Arashi smirked "I can do whatever I wish...especially with the right tools."
"Get your filthy hands away from him!" Donatello yelled "Get away from him!"
April began crying and Casey began to curse and swear.
Michelangelo looked up at Arashi and tears filled his eyes.
"Why are you doing this?" he asked.
Arashi smirked.
"Tears in the eyes of a so-called fearless ninja!" he grabbed Michelangelo's chin and looked deep into his eyes "Seeing such a thing always puts a smile on my face!"
"Don't touch him!" Leonardo spat.
"My Son!" Splinter yelled across "Be brave!"
Arashi smirked and watched as Michelangelo's tears flowed then he began to speak.
"Since I first served under the hand of the Shredder, I always admired his work, so much so I offered to go on my missions, maybe to include fighting you in the field, working alongside Hun, and many other of your enemies, I stayed loyal and worked my way to the top, until finally it finally paid off, especially when Karai abandoned the Foot altogether."
Arashi took a breath "
The Ninja took a vote and I was promoted as leader." He continued "And I intend to carry on his legacy, maybe more so than he ever did in his command, and one of them...is to finally find you...capture you...and break you!"
"You sick bastard!" April spat "You're sicker than Shredder himself! And a coward!"
Arashi turned to April, the smirk never leaving his face.
"I also intend to break those who serve my enemies..." he said "And that my dear, will come sooner than you think...for you and your husband!"
April and Casey clung to each other in fear and Donatello growled again.
Just then Arashi's phone rang and he calmly answered it.
"Yes?" he went silent for a moment waiting for a reply.
"Ah yes Doctor, you've done your research? You got something to tell me?"
He was silent again and the turtles, Splinter, April and Casey waited in fear.
"Oh really, well I shall come up right away...and is she sleeping peacefully? Ah...that's what I like to hear...sleeping like a baby...I shall be right there."
He hung up and turned to the prisoners.
"It seems my good and faithful doctor has news for me..."He smirked at Raphael who roared and struggled again through his mask "I shall return later...for more breaking of your spirits."
He then gestured the ninja to follow him out of the dungeon as he laughed evilly.
"You fucking bastard!" Leonardo yelled "You yellow bellied coward!"
"Ah!" Donatello cried banging his fists against his cell bars "Arashi must be stopped!"
Poor turtles, April, Casey and Splinter, being subjected to torture, but what is Dr Arden going to tell Arashi?
