JUST SAW THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD TONIGHT! SO IMPRESSED!
Story now.
The DREAM Labs Collider
12:08 p.m.
Jonah Jorgenson, or Girder's, eyes shot open as he took in his current surroundings; it looked like a room with metal patterns similar to those nuthouses, the cold, metal floor that he was acquainted with, and what looked like a glass wall in front of him.
Confused, the metahuman stood up. "HEY! Hey, what the hell is this?! Where am I?!"
"Somewhere you'll never hurt anyone else ever again," a female voice uttered. Jonah gritted his now metal teeth at the tone the voice spoke in. He looked out the glass wall and saw two figures obscured in the shadows.
"Who the hell do you think you are?!"
In response to his question, the two people in the shadows stepped forward and the sight he saw before him was one that utterly surprised him; sights he thought he'd never encounter again for a while.
"Haddock? Hofferson?"
The aforementioned young adults stood before him, mask and face plate removed, separated only by the glass door that Jonah stared out of. "Yeah it's us Snotty," Hiccup said, fighting off the urge to smirk at the situation. "Surprised you remember."
"It changed us also you know," Astrid added. "The explosion. You got strong, Jay got fast, and I can make shit explode." The blonde metahuman smiled at her last description of her powers.
"Why do it Snotty?" the speedster questioned, moving closer to the door separating he and Astrid from their imprisoned enemy. "Why use your gift to hurt people?"
"I didn't want to," Jonah began, putting his hands on the barrier. "There wasn't any other choice. If I could have, I would."
"Could have done what Jonah?" Astrid retorted. "Why do it?"
The elemental transmorpher sucked in a deep breath. "I needed the money. I was about to get evicted in a few weeks. I didn't know what else to do, but trust me when I say this wimps, I had no other choice."
"Wrong!" Hiccup shouted, scowling at Jonah. "There's always a choice! Always another way! See, that's the thing with you and your types Snotlout: you always take the easy out. Use your powers, steal, rob, and don't care about what happens to others!"
"Jay, calm down," Astrid said, moving toward the brunet.
"No! Just no! You used your powers for self-centered reasons, Jonah! You don't care about who you hurt! Just as long as you get what you want!"
"What else was I supposed to do, Haddock?! Huh?!" the metal metahuman shot back, clenching his fists. "This was the only way I could do it! I didn't want to! If there was any other way, any other fucking way, I would've done it in a heartbeat!"
"There you go, making excuses again just like when we were kids!" Hiccup called out. "Well guess what, metalhead? I've changed and so has everything else around you! But you're the one here that hasn't changed one. damn. bit!" Hiccup walked a few feet back and ran his hands through his hair at super speed.
This was when Astrid took her chance and moved toward the glass barrier and stared into Jonah's eyes. "You know long I've wanted this? To see you get your comeuppance? Now's the time. And when we're out helping people, maybe you can sit in this super time-out box and think about what you've done, asshole," the blonde ranted off. She walked toward Hiccup and gestured her head the other way. "Come on Jay, let's go." The brunet nodded and the two began their trek.
"HEY! HEY! DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME HOFFERSON! HADDOCK!" Jonah yelled out, now completely tinted in metal and banging on the glass barrier with all his might. It didn't budge one bit. "GET BACK HERE, FUCKERS!"
His shouts were drowned out as the entrance/exit of the collider came down, after which Hiccup looked at Astrid. "Well, there was some necessary emotional relief," Astrid commented,
"You can say that again," the brunet snarked. "But, even though he was a bully, do you think that he really deserved it?"
"Deserved what?"
"To be lock-I know he deserved it for what he did, but-I mean look at him. The guy was about to be evicted. Sure it was selfish, but would we have done any better?"
"I guess we'll never know, Jay." The two walked back into the main facility and out the exit, ready to celebrate yet another victory of theirs.
Arendelle: Anna and Elsa's House
?
Anna's POV
To understand what I'm about to tell you, you need to do something first: you need to believe in the impossible.
Can you do that?
Good.
For years, I've always wondered: what happened to miracles in the world?
Our lives had become ordinary, stuck, in a rut. A repetitive cycle of going about our everyday, mundane lives doing the same things over and over again. But this past year, an event happened that shook us out of that cycle. The Great Wave changed everything: making the impossible possible. Creating things and people out there that can only be described as "extraordinary," like what they say about a man on fire who doesn't burn. Bringing a sense of wonder and bewilderment we so desperately need.
You may dismiss these thoughts as childish and naive, but let me tell you something: there is nothing childish and naive about hope. And that's what a man in a red suit who can move super fast and his friends are bringing us. Hope, wonder, excitement.
Today, the man in red who they call the Night Fury and a woman called Plastique triumphed over a man who ordinary people would say is impossible to beat; the odds were clearly stacked against both of them. But in the timespan of ten minutes, they proved that notion wrong. So let me pose another question for everyone else out there:
Are you ready to believe and face the impossible?
"And create!" I called out, hitting the enter button on my laptop. Cutie and Astrid told us all about what happened between them and the metal man. This gives the rest of us some well deserved time off. So here I am, on my laptop in the living room, working on what Elsa calls "my silly little blog". She had some errands to run today, so I'm just all alone in here.
This Night Fury section is like, one of the biggest sections on my blog, which makes me a little jealous; when are we gonna see some more on the rest of us, huh? What about a section on...on..um-okay, I don't have my superhero name yet, but don't worry, I'll think of something soon.
"Oh yeah, can't wait for the comments to just fill up!" I cheered, happy at the prospect of my blog getting attention. It's nice for us to get some publicity, get us known and liked by the public. But little do they know, the one writing this blog is a member of the Guardians.
And I'm not stupid either; I didn't put my name on it. I know what could happen if I did. Call me a bit paranoid, but I can be careful like my sis-
All of a sudden, the power goes out and I'm enveloped in semi-darkness. Outside was emitting the shine of the moon, which shined in my house, so it wasn't too bad. I close my laptop and get up off of the couch to see what's going on-
*WHOOOSH*
I'm interrupted by a gust of wind and I see it...
A black and grey, whirlwind-y, swirly blur circles around the living room, knocking over things like the other couches, the brown table that we bought two months ago, the windows shatter and crack, the vase gets shattered also, and pictures are knocked down. The whirlwind was also emitting some kind of black, sand-like thing as it circled around the living room, blowing back my hair the whole time. I try to get up and leave, but I'm blown back by the black blur to the wall.
Out of nowhere, what looks like a blurry man with black hair and yellow eyes appears in front of me, screeching a deathly, scary scream and then going back to zooming all around the place. I look on in disbelief and a bit of fear, ok, well a lot of shock seeing as how I didn't water attack him, as it continues. I look over to the bottled water on the ground, the liquid floating up for some reason. After a few more seconds, it stops and the power comes back on again.
I look back at the water bottle and see the water hitting the ground. Getting up, I saw that the whole living room was a big mess; God is Elsa gonna be mad. But what caught my eye was what was on the wall that had the pictures that the blur knocked down. It had a carving that read:
SOON
Oh my God! Oh. My. God! The whirlwind, the sand, the floating water, the blurry man with black hair-
I think I just saw what Cutie described as killing his dad! Oh my God! Oh. Sweet. Jesus!
Uh-oh. Who do you think scared Anna and killed Hiccup's dad? Hmm...
And yes, the type of particle accelerator in this story is gonna be a collider. Just look it up.
Anyway, next story arc is based off the Power Outage episode of the Flash. Might wanna stick around.
As always, might wanna leave a little review, huh? Yeah, that would be great! ;)
