And vacation continues!

Their first morning at the beach house arrives rather fast; the day before drained the girls from their energy, so after making sweet love, they cuddled and stayed like that 'till morning. Usually Santana won't open her eyes before noon or until Rachel wakes her up, but she has things to accomplish today and she needs to do it without her very observant girlfriend finding out. The Latina opens her eyes; she stretches and wraps her arms around Rachel once again. She takes in Rachel's scent, moving her nose on her girlfriend's neck and pecking it from time to time; everything about Rachel relaxes her and makes her feel good. "Morning babe.." Santana whispers in Rachel's ear and continues kissing her.

"Mm.. No.. Sleep.." Rachel mumbles while wrapping her arms around Santana's waist, giving her girlfriend a sleepy pout.

"No, I want kisses!" Santana smiles at how cute Rachel is and it's only making her more sure and excited about the rest of the day. Her hands get under Rachel's, moving up and down the woman's body, "I'll bring you breakfast to bed if you wake up."

Rachel shakes her head gently as she moves closer to Santana, she nuzzles Santana's neck. "I want to sleep more; you promised I could sleep in." She slowly opened her eyes to look over in Santana's direction. "Also, you're too comfortable for me to wanna let you go.."

It's Santana's turn to pout, "B-But I woke up and I want my morning kisses.." She says, "You can go back to sleep after I get my fix." Santana kisses Rachel's head, "And don't you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day? I'll bring you some here, then you can go back to sleep." Actually, it'd be perfect for Santana if Rachel stays in bed for a few more hours.

The brunette smirked as her hands ran against Santana's body, "I'll accept some kisses, but I would rather wait till I'm fully awake to eat.. Is that fair?" She asks before quietly yawning.

"God, you're so freaking adorable!" Santana cups Rachel's face and start planting kisses all over it. "I. Love. You. So. Damn. Much." She says before placing a kiss. Rachel might not know the reason to why she feels so great that early in the morning, but she'd get to enjoy what it brings out, Santana thinks it's fair enough.

"God.. Could I like, wake up to that every day?" Rachel's smirk turns into a shy smile. Even if she was oblivious to what Santana was up to, she never minded her kisses at all.

That made Santana's smile grow wider; that was exactly what she needed to hear. Rachel gave her a boost without even knowing, it makes Santana giggles, but then she crushes her lips on her girlfriend's and stuck her tongue into her mouth, kissing her passionately.

Rachel's face lit up the second Santana started to kiss, and moaned quietly the second their tongues rubbed against one another. She moved one hand towards Santana's thigh, giving it a gentle squeeze while they kiss.

Santana stat thinking if it's normal to get turned on by the thought of committing to someone, 'Fuck it!' she says to herself; she loves Rachel, everything about the woman makes Santana want her more. She moves her hands to the lower part of Rachel's back and presses Rachel's body impossibly closer. Her mind, slowly, gets clouded with arousal, but thankfully her stomach makes itself known. Santana groans as she pulls away. She rubs their noses together, then opens her eyes to look at her girlfriend, "I wish I could survive only on eating you, but.." She chuckles, "I need real food."

"Go eat, hon." Rachel slowly closed her eyes. "I want to sleep a little longer anyways.." She mentions before her slumber takes over again.

"Te amo, mi hermosa reina." Santana whispers and gently moves Rachel off of her, then get up. She goes to wash her face and brush her teeth, then leaves the room, quietly closing the door behind her. She makes her way to the kitchen, enjoying the silence and peaceful feeling in the air. When she enters the kitchen, Santana sees Rachel's parents; she was sure everyone is still asleep, but now the parents of the woman she loves are right in front of her and she gets nervous. She didn't expect them to be there; it's not like she prepared a big speech or anything, but she wasn't quite ready yet. Santana thinks it through and she knows it's the perfect moment and maybe she won't get another. She tells them good morning and channels every drop of courage she has in her.

Hiram looked over at his daughter's girlfriend, with a smirk on his face. "Hope we didn't disturb you young ladies." He jokes before turning towards the coffee pot. "Want some coffee?" He asks while reaching a cup for him and his husband.

Santana blushes at his comment, she bites her lip and nod. "Your daughter was so busy with her show, she's catching up on some sleep.." She says and leans on the counter, "Can I talk to you, guys, about something important?" Santana can't hold it in, she needs to do it right now.

LeRoy takes the cup of coffee from his husband and takes a sip. He throws a look at Hiram, before turning to Santana with curious eyes, "Of course, dear." He smiles, "Let's take our coffees and go talk outside, the weather is fantastic."

Hiram finished making the cups for he and Santana, then handed Santana her cup. "Okay, let's go." He smiles as he starts to make his way out of the house, he walks to the seat that was on the porch and waits for his husband and Santana to come out.

LeRoy can tell Santana is nervous about something, but he's not sure what about. They go outside and he sits next to Hiram, he taps the empty space next to him, but Santana shakes her head. The man drinks his coffee, wondering to what Santana is going to say next.

The Latina takes a big gulp from her coffee and feels it burning her palate and chest. "The time has come, she takes a deep breath and opens her mouth, "Hm.. Your daughter and I didn't have the best relationship in the past; in high school, I treated her badly and even when I started to have feeling for her, I choose to close my eyes. It took me a while to be the person Rachel deserves, to accept her love and lower my walls." Her lips feel dry, it doesn't help no matter how many times she licks them, "You raised an outstanding person, talented woman with so much compassion.. She took me in when I showed up on her and Kurt's doorstep, even after everything I did to her.. She gave a young girl parents and a family and she makes me fall in love with her more and more each day." Santana smiles and start tearing up. "I don't feel like I can ever deserve her, but I'm going to work for the rest of my life to be good enough for her and for our children, that I promise to you. I'm going to make sure she has everything she needs, that she accomplishes her goals and dreams and that she stays happy, safe and loved." Santana says in a serious tone, looking between Rachel's parents and moves her body weight from one leg to the other. "I'm standing in front of you, asking for your daughter's hand. I want to ask Rachel to marry me.. She's it for me, I want to spend the rest of my life with her." She takes a deep breath, the bites her lips, waiting for the men's answer.

Hiram took in everything Santana said, unsure how he could fully take all of this. "Ms. Lopez.." He speaks out, adjusting himself to sit up. "Marriage is a serious commitment, more so than just being a boyfriend, or a girlfriend." He explains but knows that Santana knows where he's going without getting there. "Rachel has talked a lot about you, more good than bad over the years.."

"That's because she sees the good in people, even when they're not worthy of it." Santana says back to the man. "If it was.. Let's not go back so far, if it was a year ago, I'd be telling you to keep Rachel as far away from me as you can." Santana admits and sighs, "But she was stubborn and now I can't function without her. She woke me up and made my dreams come to life again, she makes them possible to achieve." A tear drops down Santana's cheek. "We already have a family together, but I want to make her my wife.. If you don't think it's right, I'll wait and ask you later down the road. But know that I'm not going anywhere, Rachel and Dani are my home."

"No one said no." Hiram took a sip of his coffee, then scooted over to LeRoy, he looked up at him and smiled. "She reminds me of you when you proposed to me." He points out while taking his husband's hand in his own, he looked back at Santana and nodded slowly. "I won't stop you from proposing to our daughter, I'd hate to be the one to ruin a happy home."

"So.. It's a yes?" She asks nervously, "You're ok with me asking you daughter? You're ok with us getting married?"

LeRoy mirrors his husband smile, "We're, Santana. You can calm down." He says, his eyes glistening. "We want the best for Rachel and she chose you long ago.. Just don't hurt her and we'll be just fine." He says it in a slightly playful tone, but he's serious and Santana knows it.

"Never." Santana states. "Thank you so much! It means more than you can ever imagine." She wipes the tears from her eyes.

The three kept their idle chit-chat going on; Santana learned a lot more about her potential future fathers-in-law's past. She enjoyed the adorableness of their relationship, specifically their vacation talks, the exotic places they went to, all the moments they spent learning some new things, this was something Santana personally wanted to do with Rachel. Santana walked inside to get another cup of coffee, she noticed that Dani and Beth were watching TV while eating a bowl of cereal, which the sight alone was more than adorable in Santana's eyes. As Santana walked to the kitchen, she saw another adorable sight in Rachel Berry. Rachel was making herself a cup of coffee, she was more tired than anything. She hugged Rachel from behind, then they sat down and decided to go back to some more time on the beach. Santana left Rachel to drink her coffee and wake up, while she went to ask the other adults to join them, but unfortunately, they wanted to go sightseeing. After an hour or so, they girls were on their way out, Rachel and Santana hoped that by the time they get back, Shelby won't be there.
Their time at the beach was great, even better than the day before. Rachel finished a couple of more chapters before she was dragged to swim with her daughter. Santana spent most of the time working on her tan, but had no chance again her girls' puppy dog eyes and got into the water too. The family laughed, took some pictures and even talked to Marley via Skype. So far, it was a great day for them. They ate lunch in a small place, then went back home. Santana was hyper, she was all excited about Rachel's parents' approval. The three of them went to take a shower, but Dani and Santana were the ones putting clothes again; Rachel was too tired to go out, all she wanted is to get a good nap.

"Babe, are you sure?" Santana asks as she pulls her hair in a high ponytail. "I feel bad leaving you here.." She pouts, looking at Rachel through the mirror.

Rachel gave a nod as she pulled up the pair of knee length pants. "I am good, I am still tired." She said with a calm smile on her face, she sat up and got on a tight tank top, then stood up to walk to Santana. "You look really beautiful though." She compliments.

"Thanks." Santana smiles. "I love the weather here! We need to come here more often.."

"Well, not to sound cocky or anything.." Rachel wraps her arms around Santana's waist. "But sometime soon, we may have to be here a lot more.. I might get interviews, legitimate movie deals.." She lists to name a few, but she loves the fact Santana is enjoying herself.

"My girlfriend the successful actress.." Santana turns in Rachel arms and pecks her lips. "Maybe I'll have the baby on a plane and they'll get free flights for the rest of their life." She jokes, but then turns serious, "Not that I wish for something like that to happen. Ever."

"I wouldn't allow that to happen. Ever." Rachel returned the serious tone, then she brushed their noses together. "Also, I'm already successful.. I have you and Dani, that's all the success I need."

"We became the cheesiest couple in the whole world, you do aware of that, right?" Santana chuckles and puts her arms on Rachel's shoulders, "And soon enough we'll be living on the countryside and drive a minivan.. God, we are getting old.."

"True beauty doesn't age.. I'm jealous of you." Rachel chuckles, then pecks Santana's lips. "I'm going to rest some more, have fun?"

"Do you really think I'm going to let that comment slide?" Santana press Rachel's body against hers, "You're beautiful, every centimeter of your body is perfection."

Rachel smirks a slight amount. "I was hoping you would let that comment slide, but thank you." She brushed her nose against Santana's again.

Dani opened the door, walked to her moms and squeezed in the middle of the two. "I hate to take you away from each other, but I was promised some Mama-Daughter time and I am not getting it." She looks at Santana with a slight smirk. "How about that promise?" She playfully pokes Santana's stomach.

Santana laughs and ruffles Dani's hair, "You are absolutely right, D. I'll have to make it up to you." She looks at Rachel and smile, "Go rest, Rach. Call me if you want us to bring you something." Santana pecks Rachel's lips, then pulls Dani out of the room.

Dani and Santana took off from the beach house, Dani had never seen much of LA outside of watching movies about it, and so this was an interesting experience for her. As for Santana, she was already dancing on the clouds it seems; everything she had planned for this vacation nearly worked out for the better, she has the blessing from the parents of Rachel that she felt, mattered, now she needed to plan ahead to propose at some point. But she wasn't going to fret too much on that at this moment, she needed to enjoy some alone time with Dani. Santana wanted to check out some luxury clothing stores just to really window shop, Dani on the other hand wanted to check out various baristas within the area for the really artsy kind of people that she learned about from different movies about Los Angeles.

"So, D.. You've seen and experienced a bit of LA," Santana starts while walking next to Dani, "If you had to choose, LA or New York?"

"New York." Dani simply states. "It's where everything started for me, I wouldn't feel right for everything to be finished in a state that isn't home to me." She puts her hands in her pockets, feeling a tad nervous about answering that question.

"It's refreshing to hear that, you know.." Santana smiles at Dani, then looks around, "A lot of people can't wait to be old enough or have enough money to move. I had basically nothing when I left Lima and showed up and you mom's and auntie's door." She chuckles at the memory, "Are you still ok with the moving? It's a good change, but nonetheless it's still a change."

"At first I was scared, mainly because I got so used to being in that apartment." Dani admits while they walk. "But, over time I thought it was a great thing for us.. I mean I can finally sound proof my room so I can do music, or listen to loud music." She smiles up at Santana.

Santana got a bit worried about what else Dani would do in her new room, but they're in a good place and now, she only wants to enjoy the time with her daughter. "I love our place, but it's doesn't fit for a family.. We'll live in a better area, have a backyard and still be close to the city." Santana says and leads them to a spot in a park with not many people, "Thank you for being honest."

"I actually can't wait to move in all honesty." Dani bites her lower lip and smiles a bit more. "I never had to move from one house to the other.. Well, within reason.." She chuckles softly. "I wouldn't care how close it was to the city, I am just happy we will have a bigger home."

"Are you sure you don't mind? So if it was a train ride away from Marley, you'd be ok with that?" Santana raise her eyebrow and smirks. "Oh, and I'll remember it when we get back and it's time to pack.."

"Well.. I guess." Dani's face went from happy to sad almost instantly.

"Oh, no, honey!" Santana pulls the girl to a tight hug, "I'm sorry, I was only teasing! Marley will be fifteen minute drive away, nothing going to change."

Dani held on to Santana, keeping her frown going for a bit longer. "I would be depressed, but I would be happy that we have a bigger home.."

"Good thing it's not going to happen. We want you happy and Marley makes you happy." Santana runs her hands in Dani's hair, then kiss her forehead.

"You know what else makes me happy?" Dani looks up at Santana, still sporting a sad look on her face.

"What is it, baby?" Santana looks down with a small smile.

"Ice cream." Dani says as she sticks her bottom lip out, and gives Santana a needy look.

Santana pokes Dani's nose and chuckles, "That face is going to give me so much trouble in the future.." She says and leans on the tree next to them, "I'll get you an ice cream, but I want to talk to you about something important first.."

"Que pasa?" Dani asks as she leans beside Santana, keeping a close eye on her.

"You're so cute, speaking Spanish.." Santana smiles at Dani. She then pushes herself from the tree and looks at Dani with a serious expression, "Dani, you know you and your mom are the light in my life. Since you came into our life, everything just fell into its place.." She caresses Dani's face, "I was an idiot at first, to you and Rachel, but we came a long way and now we're family and I love both of you with all my heart." Santana bites her lips as a few tears roll down her face. She takes a deep breath and continues talking, "I'd like to ask your mom to marry me, tie our family tighter. I asked her parents this morning and now I want to ask you." Santana takes Dani's hands in hers, "Dani Lopez, will it be ok for me to propose to your mom?"

"Well.. Yeah.." Dani says with excitement. "Not only would we be officially a family, well.. In terms of the state, but we would all have the same last name.." She smiled quite a bit.

Santana starts to laugh; she didn't think about this part, she was too busy on planning everything for the proposal, "You have a point there, D. We'll probably just add each other's name." Santana, once again, pulls her daughter into a bone-crushing hug, "Thank you, Dani. You are a part of every decision making, it mean everything to me that you're ok with it."

"You know just as well as I do, Rachel wants to have your name." Dani gently pokes Santana's side. "I am glad you asked me though, even though you know I would have said yes. Over and over again." She pecks Santana's cheek.

Santana is having a great day; she's on vacation with her family and she got the blessing to ask Rachel to be her wife. She was so scared to love again, but lucky she did or else she would've missed her true love and a family of her own. She nods and places her arm around Dan's shoulder, "Let's go get that ice cream and maybe buy a gift for Marely? You can't go back empty handed."

'It's not like she'd be empty handed when I got back anyways..' Dani blushed at the thought and almost squeaked, but she held back and smiled. "Yeah.. That'd be a good idea." she scratched the back of her head.

"Erase those thoughts from your head, young lady." Santana knew right away the line of thought Dani has by the blush and quick change of the girl's behavior and it's part of her job, or use to be, at least.. It's actually more amusing to her, than annoying or anger, but she can't let Dani know that. "Now move your ass before I'll sit you down to another talk." She breaks and giggles.

Dani's eyes nearly popped out of her head when Santana said that and her face shaded a crimson color from it. "I want a medium sundae after that comment." She giggles.

Santana shakes her head, "Whatever you want, D." She tells her and they start walking. She has already given in on love, but in what feels like a blink of an eye, Rachel changed it all and now she has her arm around a girl that calls her mama and she's going to propose. Santana is so excited, she's not sure she'd be able to calm herself down enough until they get home.

The mother and daughter spent another hour and a half or so together; they ate their ice cream while walking the streets of LA, Santana asked about Dani's treatment and if she's feeling alright with the pills she's taking and before returning to the beach house, the girls took some pictures at a photo booth. When they got back, Dani left to her room and Santana went to check up on Rachel. The woman was up, relaxing and reading a book in bed. Santana look at her, leaning on the door frame; she wanted to tell her so many things, but knew she must wait and do it the right way. She stepped in, pecked Rachel's lips and told her some of the things she did with Dani. After that, Santana took her laptop and went outside; she had to work, even if she's far away from home, and she preferred doing it outside and let Rachel have her relaxing time. She took a cup of coffee and went outside. The air was perfect and it wasn't too loud or quiet, just how Santana likes it. She answered some mails, talked to a number of girls and arranged her schedule, because when they come back, she has a lot to do at the club along with packing at home. Finally, Santana closed her laptop and let out a long sigh. She stayed out for a few more minutes before going back in. She went and wash her glass at the kitchen, then made her way back to her room, but stop when she saw a sight that wasn't appealing to her at all; Dani, Beth and Shelby were in the living room, laughing on the couch. The blood ran into her head and she clenched her palms and stepped closer to them.

"Miss Corcoran," She says, trying to control her anger, "May I speak to you outside?" Santana runs her eyes over Dani's body, making sure her daughter is alright, then go back to glaring at the woman.

"Uh.." Shelby gulped, then stood up. "Okay." She says as she walks with Santana to the outside of the house. "What's wrong?" She asks.

"Mind telling me what you were doing?" Santana always had an anger problem, but after her breakdown, she got it under control. She knows how to keep it at a normal rate, but there are occasions that making her see red. At the moment, she's doing her best to solve this as an adult, "I thought we were very clear last night."

"Yeah, you told me to be supportive.." Shelby gave Santana a weird look. "Why is that a problem now? You both got on my ass for not being around, then when I come over you both have a problem with it." She crosses her arms, glaring at Santana. "I try to make nice with Dani, and you're pissed at me still for some ungodly reason!" She throws her hands up. "I am doing what you BOTH wanted, and that's not good enough?"

Santana sneers, "You don't get it, do you?" She shakes her head, "Rachel gave you a chance and you blew it. You can't just show up and think that everything will be fine." Santana is frustrated with the woman. "Rachel got hurt by you.. Again. You keep hurting her and not giving a fuck. Not once did you try to make amends." She spits out. "Why should I let you be around our daughter? Dani has a gentle soul, I'm not going to let you do to her what you did to Rachel."

"Santana, I worked with you personally.. I know you're not stupid." Shelby places her hands on her hips. "Do you think that maybe I am doing what Rachel would have me do in the first place?" She asks. "In case you weren't aware, Dani confronted me last night. She gave me reasons to try.. But what you are doing is what Rachel doesn't want.. You know that."

"You did not just say that." Santana can swear, smoke is getting out of her ears and nose. "You don't know her, you have no idea how she works." She raises her eyebrow, not impressed by Shelby moving her hand to her hip. "Dani is a smart kid, but still a kid and she can be very emotional and stand for what she believes in. But sometime she's very naive." Santana says. "I had my fair share of screwing things up and never just acting like nothing happened, helped. You really want to be a part of this family? How about fixing your relationship with your daughter first and ask if it's ok for you to be around our child after the talk we had?" She unclenches her fists and takes a deep breath, "And please don't act like you know me."

"I will when you stop acting like you know me.. You don't know what kind of hell I've been dealing with ever since that day.." Shelby demands, then walks back inside, slowly making her way back into her own room.

Santana's temper was nearly sky rocketing, almost to the point that she would not care at all if Shelby was Rachel's mom; she'd have a beach house brawl with the older brunette and sell tickets for people to see. She walked to their room, explaining everything that was said to Rachel, and then some. This alone set Rachel off the deep end, not only was she sick of Shelby disrespecting her, but now she feels as if Shelby was just using Dani to as a way to get back at them for confronting her. Well, Rachel Barbara Berry was not going to have this, not anymore; she storms out of the room and into Shelby's room, slamming it shut behind her.
"Okay, I don't know what in the hell is your problem, Shelby." Rachel lets out as she crosses her arms. "What is your angle?"

Shelby sighed, then placed her book down, "Look, I told Santana that I was trying, and it wasn't good enough for her and I can tell it's not for you." She explains as she gets off of the bed, running her hand through her hair.

Rachel shook her head. "I told you to stay away from her, and to stay away from my family." She glared Shelby some more. "You have no appreciation for what I do, for anything that's part of me, you just care about yourself."

"You've got to be kidding me." Shelby moves closer to her daughter. "I do care about you, I care about Santana, and like it or not, I care about Dani." She admits without any guilt. "Which if you'd both saw my coming here from my point of view; you'd know that the whole reason why I came here was for you three."

"No, stop lying." Rachel looks away from Shelby. "You say you're doing something for me, but you never do.." She mumbles angrily. "All you do is lie, and lie, and lie."

Shelby could tell Rachel was hurt, and this was bad alone. "I'm not an experienced mom.. Obviously." She admits, almost as if she was admitting defeat in a weird sense. "But you need to understand, I've tried.. I am trying.." This was hard for Shelby to do in general, she never thought about ever doing something like this.

Rachel's lips start to quiver; she shakes her head not wanting to believe Shelby for a second. "For those eleven years that I needed you.. Where were you?" She asks. "You could have made time, why weren't you there for me?" Tears began to form while Rachel asked those questions.

"I don't know.." It hurt Shelby to give that as her answer, but she honestly didn't know. "But I can be here now, and I can be a mom to you.." She tries to spark some hope in Rachel's heart. "Please give me that chance, I'm sorry."

Rachel closed her eyes; tears were dripping down her cheek as she nods and moves as close to Shelby as she could. She wraps her arms around her mother, not sobbing, but painfully crying into Shelby's shoulder.
Shelby held her daughter as tight as she could, her eyes watered as she heard the soft whimpers of the younger brunette. She hushed Rachel every few moments; she ran her hand up and down Rachel's back while rocking their bodies. "I love you.." Shelby whispers.

While Rachel stormed out and went to talk to Shelby, Santana went to find her mom. Santana didn't feel like what she told Shelby was wrong or that she overreacted, but she almost lost herself to anger and that was extremely bad. She was sitting on the bed in her and Rachel's room for a few minutes, to get her heart back into normal rate and thought if the way she handled the situation was the right way. She had so many emotions and thought running in her body and mind, she just needed her mom to make it ok. Santana washed her face, then walked around and eventually found her mom in the kitchen.

"Ma', can we talk?" Santana asks, her hands wrapped around her body.

"Well I guess so, even though we're talking now." Maribel jokes. "Que pasa, mija?"

Santana doesn't feel like she has the strength to respond or even smile. The happiness she felt during the day was gone and she's tired from being so angry. "I got into a big fight with Shelby.." Santana sighs. "Rachel took Dani to meet her not long ago and she didn't accept D as her granddaughter.. Rachel and I agreed to not let her see Dani anymore, you know that Dani doesn't need unnecessary stress." She moves her hand in her hair and tries not to get riled up again. "Anyway, after she showed up here, we confronted her and told her that we don't want her near Dani and all those things.. Rachel ended up getting hurt by her, again and just now I saw her hanging out with Dani. I was furious and lashed out.." Santana knows she needs to be honest, if she wants her mom to help her through this, "I told her that she can't just do that, not after all the things she did to Rachel.. She can't just act like we're a happy big family and expect everything to be alright and to get a blank page. Eventually, she left to her room, I told Rachel and she went to talk to her." Santana shrugs, "I felt so much anger, it physically hurt me. I still feel some of it.. I was doing so good, but I can't.. I lose it when someone hurt my girls."

Maribel nodded and pursed her lips for a few moments. "Do you.. Uh.." she sighed. "Dani looked like she was having such a good time with Shelby a bit ago, and before you left I heard Dani call Shelby 'Grandma' and she didn't seem to mind at all."

Santana sighs again, "I want Dani to have all the family she can get, but not like that. That woman proved she can't be trusted, why would we let her be a part of Dani's life so quickly? What if she'd leave again, decides she doesn't want it and has better things to do.. Dani will be left crushed."

"Because like it or not, you all are family." Maribel wraps an arm over Santana's shoulder, gently stroking it. "Family will piss us off, more than we ever hope.. But Shelby did at least try today, which from what you're telling me, is impossible."

Santana nods and hugs her mom tights. "I got so angry.. If she didn't leave, I don't know if I could control myself. It was so scary, mom." She tells Maribel and let a few tears drop.

"Hey, no tears." Maribel kissed the top of Santana's head. "You got everything you want, right? Only thing you need is a Jewish girl with your last name." She smiles some. "That will come in due time too."

"Maybe sooner than you think.." Santana looks up at her mom and gives her a shy smile. "Rachel's parents gave me their blessing, Dani did too. I'm going to ask her mom." Santana feels her body warm up again, but this time with excitement and love.

"I'm proud of you, sweetie." The older woman lets out, squeezing Santana slightly. "You two will make a happy couple, you know that?"

"Of course I do, we're one already." Her smile gets wider, "Thanks to her, I'm going to have everything I wanted in life.. She makes me truly happy." Santana says and rest her head on her mother's shoulder. "I thought I knew everything there is to know about love and that I lost it, but Rachel showed me what real love is and how wrong I was. Every fiber of my body knows she's the one."

"Okay, okay. Save some of that 50 Shades of Blue crap for your wedding vows." Maribel playfully jokes then kisses Santana's head. "I'm proud of you, okay?"

Santana smirks at her mom, "You're a mother of a future bride, you have no choice but to hear these things." She says and kisses Maribel's cheek, "Thank you, mom, for everything." She pulls away from the embrace, now feeling a lot more relaxed. "I'm going to lie down and wait for Rachel."

"Okay, sweetie.. But uh.." Maribel was about to make a quick joke to embarrass Santana, but shook her head and smiled. "You're welcome." She simply says.

On Santana's way back to her room, she stopped to check if Dani is alright; the girl was watching some movie with Beth's head on her legs and the young girl almost asleep. The sight warmed her heart; it doesn't matter how much she doesn't like Shelby, Beth is just a child and Santana is happy to see the girls getting along. She kept going to the room and when she got there she saw that Rachel was already there, looking.. Happy? Not sure what exactly is going on, she closed the door behind her and climbed on the bed to lie on her girlfriend.

"How was the talk?"

"It was emotional, I cried, she cried, but we hugged and she apologized." Rachel explained as she set her book aside. "We sorta made up."

"Hmm.." Santana feels reserved about what Rachel said; Shelby can say a lot, but Santana wants her to prove herself and she's not going to just forget everything and let her back into their life. Santana is going to open her eyes and make sure Rachel and Dani won't get hurt. "Ok.."

"I think things will be better, not by much.. But a vast improvement compared to before." Rachel looks over at Santana, biting her lower lip and frowns some. "You okay?"

Santana snuggles into Rachel more; she prefers to focus on how excited she is about the proposal, rather than getting angry again. "I'm fine, Rach. I just want you, babe."

"You have me, baby." Rachel runs one hand up and down Santana's back.

"Dani seems to get along with Beth, I just saw them and they're so cute." Santana kiss Rachel's cheek, "She'll be a great big sister." She says and blush a bit.

"Yeah, she will.." Rachel closes her eyes and takes in the thought of their family, it's almost perfect in her eyes. "I almost can't wait 'till we have a bigger family.. Well.. You know what I mean."

"Me too, Rach." Santana smiles and nuzzle her nose against Rachel's neck. 'But first you'll have to say yes.' She thinks and her heart beat just a little faster.

"Hey, San?" Rachel calls out.

"Yeah?"

"I love you." Rachel happily says.

It's so hard for Santana to wait; every second she spends with Rachel, she's dying to pop the question. "I love you too." She answers back and bites her lips.

"It sucks that we have to go home tomorrow.." Rachel points out. "I also wished we could have spent more time together.."

"Yeah.. I wish we could move to a private island where we won't have to work.." Santana says as her fingers move gently on Rachel's stomach.

"It makes me jealous that our parents get this place the rest of the week, like really jealous." Rachel's hand rests on Santana's, then she kisses her girlfriend's temple. "But I miss our home."

"It's an exciting time for us; your show and the move." Santana mentions. "I like it here a lot and we had fun, but I want to start our new chapter already."

"In due time, my dear." Rachel reaches for her book, once she has it she goes to the page she left off at. "It'll happen at a turn.." She turns the page. "..Of a page." Rachel giggles at her pun, but focuses some attention to her book.

Santana chuckles and shakes her head, "You're hilarious, babe.." She tells Rachel with a dry tone. "Now what am I supposed to do while you read?"

"You could let me read out loud to you, and look all cute.. Well, you already look cute.." Rachel bit her lip. "I could put the book down and maybe you do something for me.."

Santana's fingers graze the lower part of Rachel's stomach, "If you want something, sweetie, you have to ask for it." Santana says against Rachel's neck, "But if you're too shy to ask, you can always read to me."

"I figured.. We could do it.. Maybe with some mouth action, it's been a little bit since I felt your lips on my body other than my head and neck." Rachel bites her lip some more. "I missed getting hickeys from you.."

Santana's eyes rolls back just from hearing Rachel. She lifts herself and look in her girlfriend's eyes, "You.. Ugh.." Santana bites her lip hard when she meets Rachel's face. She adjusts herself so their bodies would fit perfectly, her hands holding tight on Rachel's waist and her eyes fixed on the woman's lips. Santana brushes their noses together, then looks in her eyes with her dark ones, "Shirt, off." She tells Rachel, her voice deeper than the usual.

"You want it off? Take it off." Rachel returns the deep seductive tone as her hands press against Santana's hip.

Her eyes get darker hearing Rachel's comment, "You know I don't like disobedience." She says and pushes herself against Rachel's body, creating a slight amount of friction. "Besides, you were the one asking for hickeys." Santana challenge back.

"Well.. You know it's sorta difficult to take any form of clothing off when someone is pressed up against you.." Rachel smirks some then shrugs. "I guess I can go back to my book.. I only have about 10 pages left." She shrugs again, then let's goes of Santana, she frowns slightly.

"Yeah, you do that." Santana says and gets up. While her back is to Rachel, Santana smirks; Rachel isn't the only one who can play this game. "I need to change anyway.." Her voice now regular. She very slowly takes her shirt off, "I was in these clothes all day.." Santana points out as she stretches her body. "Maybe I'll go take a shower and.. Take care of myself." She starts working on her jeans while biting on her tongue.

"Okay.." Rachel slowly nods, suddenly she wasn't feeling all that well. She turned to her side and went back to her book, but she was having a hard time reading it. "Maybe I'll just go to sleep.." She tosses the book to the floor then takes her glasses off. "Have fun."

Santana frowns and turns to Rachel, "Babe.." She walks to the bed and drops to her knees, "No, I was just.. Never mind.." She shakes her head, "I'm sorry, I didn't want to hurt you." Just earlier today she promised to Rachel's parents she won't hurt their child and that's what she did a few hours later. It's hard for her to shake this side of her, the play was a huge part of her life not too long ago and now she feels like shit for causing pain to the woman she loves.

"It's not you, okay?" Rachel starts to breath in and out, clenching her stomach. "I just need to rest." She states before closing her eyes.

"You've been resting all day, Rachel." Santana doesn't give up, "And I'm not letting you go to sleep feeling like that. Tell me what's wrong." She's not sure if it'd be ok with Rachel if she'd touch her, so Santana keeps her hands to herself and speaks softly.

"Take me to.." Rachel gags a bit. "I need the bathroom, now." She sits up holding her stomach some more.

Santana almost jumps to her feet. She grabs a tight hold of her girlfriend's body and helps her to stand. She walks them as fast as Rachel can walk to the bathroom and try to hold it together. That came from nowhere and it makes Santana so scared that she's shaking.

Rachel reaches out for the toilet, when she feels it, she drops to her knees then lifts the seat up. Her breathing is heavy before she retches into the toilet. "Ow.." She mumbles.

"I'm here, Rach." Santana pulls Rachel's hair in her hand so it won't get messy and with her other she moves on Rachel's back, trying to soothe her down. "Let it all out, you'll feel better."

"San.." She was about to say something, but she leaned went back to throwing up in the toilet. As soon as she was done, she sat up a bit, "I have a confession.."

"What is it?" Santana's heart beats fast in her chest and her breathing quickens.

"Since we started shooting.." Rachel gulps, as she held her stomach some more. "I didn't eat.. I just had a bunch of those protein shake things that are supposed to fill you up, you know?" She looks in Santana's direction. "The thing on the packet said to not over do it.. I guess I did just that.."

Santana is not sure if she's more angry at Rachel or hurt. She knows how it's like in Rachel's line of work, she knows her girlfriend has a problem, but.. She can't control how she feels and anger is a big part of it. "What about therapy? Did you tell your therapist that you don't eat or just lie to her?" Santana does her best to keep her temper. "And what about us? Did you stop to think how it's going to affect Dani if anything happens to you?"

"I didn't lie to my therapist.. I told her I stuffed myself, just didn't say what I had." Rachel's eyes were somewhat glossy, "I had a lot on my plate, San.. I wasn't trying to not eat, I was trying to make sure I got shit done.."

"That doesn't cut it, Rachel." Santana stands up and folds her arms. "You know you have a problem, so you need to be ten times more careful." The woman she's talking to is the one she wants to spend the rest of her life with, but if Rachel would keep going that road there won't be a life to spend. "You're a grown woman, you should know by now that these things don't work like that. You should know to come and talk to me, so we would find a way to make it easier on you." Santana is so scared of losing Rachel and so upset that she keeps hurting herself. "I want you to act so much, but if that's the price.." Santana shrugs.

"Yes, I have a problem, my problem is..." Rachel's eyes watered a bit. "I can't do this.." She lets out. "I worked to the bone night in, and night out. When I am not acting, I'm teaching, when I'm not teaching, I am thinking of what to teach next in terms of dance, acting, or music." She scoots back against the wall, hugging her knees to her chest. "I can't.. I just can't... But I need to.. I need to take care of us, our family.. Otherwise, I am miserable."

"Rachel, there won't be an us without you and what you're doing will kill you if you won't stop." Santana says and turns her back to Rachel. She let a few tears drop as she holds her hands tightly to make them stop shaking. She can't really calm down, so she turns around and crouch in front of Rachel, "We're a family, a unit, you need to come and talk to me when you feel like that." Santana tells Rachel and move some hair off her face. "I make good money and we can wait with moving or cut our expenses. Baby, your health is the most important thing." She hugs Rachel's knees as well. "You can't have this level of stress in your life. So you need to decide what is the one thing you want to do and stick with it, find your balance there."

"So you're saying.. I shouldn't be so 'high School Rachel Berry' and just be Rachel Berry the mom and loving girlfriend?" She asks then sniffles once. "I don't want to not act, or not teach.. I guess I could slow down on the teaching, and have more time to be able to eat a good meal every so often while I am working." Rachel lets her legs down then opens her arms. "Hold me, 'Tana?"

Santana scoots closer to Rachel and wraps her arms around her waist, "I will always hold you, love you and be there for you." She tells Rachel as some tears slide down her face. "I want you to be healthy, and not only for me and Dani, but for yourself. Talk to your therapist, she'd help you find the time to eat all the meals you need." Santana says and press her body as close as she can against Rachel's.

Rachel rests her head against the crook of Santana's neck, taking in her embrace. "Thank you.." She whispers as her hands travel against Santana's back. "And.. I'm sorry.."

"Don't be, I know it's hard for you.. Just don't take yourself from us before we even started." Santana kiss Rachel's head and take a deep breath. "You want me to go grab you a glass of water and a mint? You can wash your face and I'll be back quickly."

"Yes, and something fattening to eat.. But first I need help up." Rachel nervously bites her lip.

Santana stands and pulls Rachel with her, keeping the woman close. "Maybe I should help you wash up, get you to bed and then go?"

"Yeah.. But only because I love getting spoiled by you." Rachel smiles some then brushes her nose against Santana's.

"You're so lucky, Berry, so freaking lucky.." Santana sighs and chuckles. She helps Rachel take a few steps towards the sink, then she opens the faucet and starts to wash Rachel's face; first the sweat on her forehead, the tears from her eyes and cheeks, then her mouth and her all face again. She closed the faucet and slowly, takes them back to the bed, carefully laying Rachel on it. Santana puts her shirt back on and zip her pant, then walk back to Rachel, "I'll be right back." She says and kisses her temple before leaving. She passes their parents in the living room and goes straight to the kitchen. Santana first works on making Rachel a sandwich; she doesn't want to give the woman something too heavy to eat after she threw up, so she takes a slice of cheese and two slices of tomato and place them on the bread. She slices a cucumber and places everything on a plate. Santana drink two glasses of water, then grabs two bottles of water from the fridge and take everything back to the room.

"Hey, honey." She places the plate on Rachel's lap and the bottles on the night stand. "Take your time, but eat it all." She sits next to her girlfriend's legs. "I didn't want to make you something that will cause you to throw up again, but if you feel good and want anything else, tell me." She explains and waits for Rachel to eat.

Rachel smiled before taking a bite of the sandwich, she let out a noise of enjoyment. "Thanks."

"No problem." Santana smiles and walks to the dresser. She takes out a tank top and shorts and places them on the edge of the bed, "It's a good thing our flight is at noon, we don't have to rush or wake up too early." She says and takes her clothes off again, keeping an eye on Rachel.

"True.." Rachel smiles some. "If I didn't have vomit breath, I'd ask for the good kiss." She points out before taking another bite of her sandwich.

"I'd kiss you no matter what." Santana steps towards the bed, "You don't give me enough credit.. My feelings might get hurt." She smiles and pecks Rachel on the lips a few times. "Finish eating and I'll give you a better one, if you want and need more proof to how much I love you." She says, walking to take her phone from the charger and go back to bed.

"Yes, ma'am." Rachel only had a few bites left, so she finished the sandwich, then set the plate on the nightstand. "I need your kisses, San."

"So cute.." Santana place her phone on the nightstand on her side and turns to Rachel, "I'm glad you finished everything." She scoots closer and takes Rachel lips in hers. Santana's tongue licks Rachel's lips, but then the Latina just pulls back. "Do you want me to bring you anything else?" She asks and places her hand on Rachel's waist.

"Mm.. More kissing?" Rachel blushes a lot. "Please?"

"Like I can ever say no." Santana leans closer once more, making sure not to put pressure on Rachel's body. She brushes her lips on Rachel's, gently biting them as her hand move up to cup her girlfriend's face.

A moan escapes from Rachel as her hands travel up and down Santana's back; Rachel can't get enough of her girlfriend's lips on hers.

One last peck and Santana pulls away. She rests her head on Rachel's forehead and asks with a smile if she's feeling alright.

"I'm better than that now.." Rachel whispers happily.

Santana leaned her back on the bed and pulls Rachel with her. She wrapped her arms protectively around her girlfriend and closed her eyes. The weekend was full of events, some not so pleasant, but overall it was a good vacation; Santana achieved her goals and they spent time together as family. Once they get home, the young family going to have a lot to do, but it didn't matter because Santana and Rachel are in each other's arms for the night and that's more than enough.

'till next time.
