Rosepetal's POV

He's gone.

He could be dead.

He's gone.

My brother.

He's gone.

Will I be next?

Where in the name of pepperoni pizza is Toadstep? I've looked everywhere. Everywhere. I've even asked everyone in his cabin.

He's gone.

What hurts most is that he didn't even tell me.

I mean, yes, I'm definitely no Ivypool, who would wander out into the woods without a second thought, but I'm no Dovewing, who would rather swim than go into a forest. Hey, for a ThunderCabin camper, that's a huge deal.

First, it's my cousin, Hazeltail. Not to mention my crush, Foxleap. I had a hard time staying sane the night they went missing. Now, my brother?

I will go insane.

"Rosepetal," calls a voice softly, causing me to jump.

I whip around to see my cousin, Mousewhisker. Oh, and when I say that Mousewhisker and Berrynose are the only ThunderCabin boys left, I'm dead serious.

"What is it?" I hiss.

"We should've gone to look for the others," he says. "With Toadstep, Bumblestripe, Dovewing and Blossomfall."

"Then why didn't we?" I hiss.

Before Mousewhisker can reply, I hear a girl yelling and she pushes us aside, sprinting away from us. I recognize her blond hair immediately.

Dovewing.

My heart beats faster. What could've happened? Did they all get attacked by a bear, and Dovewing just barely escaped?

I have to ask Dovewing.

Hollyleaf's POV

Breezepelt.

I hate him, I hate him, I hate him.

"I hate that Breezepelt," growls Ivypool. "I hate him, I hate him, I hate him!"

Funny, I'm thinking the same thing.

And from the way that Jayfeather and Lionblaze walk, I can tell that they agree.

"Where to now?" asks Foxleap.

"I say we return to the Hazelberry bush," suggests Hazeltail. "After all, when I was there…. I felt a breeze."

Everyone turns to her and stares.

"I mean, it was a breeze heading south," she continues. "And at the Lake back at Camp, the breeze heads south."

Icecloud narrows her eyes. "How do you know which way the wind blows?"

Hazeltail shrugs her shoulders. "I like to spend time outside."

"Guys," I hiss. "We need a plan. If I have to spend another day in this sundress-"

"Calm down, Hollyleaf," interrupts Lionblaze. "We'll figure out a way."

"I think we should return to the Hazelberry bush," says Foxleap. "If Hazeltail believes we can return to camp by finding it, I believe her."

I notice Hazeltail blushing a bit. "Okay," she finally says. "Anyone else?"

"I think it's worth a shot," says Jayfeather.

The rest of us agree, and we finally get ourselves up and ready to start our journey back to camp.

Hopefully, I'll fall asleep in my ThunderCabin bed tonight…

Unknown POV

"Ha!" I yowl. "We're almost there!"

"How do you know?" asks one of the others.

"Can't you see it?" I say. "We've found the road! We just follow it to Camp's entrance!"

"Oh," says one of the others, smiling. "Finally!"

"When do we strike?" asks another.

"In a few days."

"In a few days?"

I chuckle. "Yes. I've got the perfect plan."

"Oh, Tigerstar," says another, "you've always got the perfect plan."

OH SNAP! It's Tigerstar! MWAHAHA! I know, y'all thought it was Heathertail. Teehee, it's not. I've seen a lot of fanfics where Heathertail's the villain. Yes, I still strongly dislike Heathertail. But Tigerstar's the villain in this story! :D
