A/N I added to the summary that the updates will be slow then looked at this chapter and saw it was almost done being typed so here it is. Sorry if there are any mistakes. I don't own the characters I am just playing with them.
Sora came into the room she is now sharing not only with her girlfriend but now also with her son. "Wow," she thinks, "I have a family now." This causes her to grin widely in anticipation of the future.
"What are you smiling about?" Layla asks her breaking her out of her thoughts. Layla had just changed Kenta and was getting ready to feed him. "I don't want you to think you can't take care of him. I know that I am kind of hogging him," she states sheepishly.
"I would like to feed him, but you aren't hogging him at all. I know why you feel more comfortable with him then Yume. Don't worry you will feel more comfortable with Yume and everything will be fine. You handled me just fine when I first came to America and we are now together." Sora told her trying to make her feel better. The last part of what said made Layla cringe at the thought of how she treated the younger girl when she first came to Kaleido Stage.
"I am sorry I was so harsh when you first came to the stage, Sora. I didn't know what the feelings you evoked in me were so I panicked. I pushed you so hard and never once thought about how you would react to how I treated you. It made me mad to know how Mai and Anna treated you, but here I was treating you even worse. I am so sorry, Sora." Layla burst out crying feeling so upset about how she treated Sora.
"I never wanted you to hate me. I always looked up to you and I wanted to show you I could do anything you wanted me to. And I was happy that you showed me any attention at all. I love you, Layla, that isn't going to change any time soon." Sora told her taking the older woman into her arms, "now weren't we going to feed our son?" she asked breaking the tension in the room.
After getting Sora and Kenta settled Layla went and checked on Yume. Watching her daughter sleeping she realized just how much she had gained in the last few weeks just by admitting her feelings for the younger girl. Smiling at how her daughter was so restless in her sleep, she went and pulled the sheets back up to cover her.
"I love you already Yume I hope you know that," Layla whispered before turning to see Sora in the doorway holding Kenta.
"She knows you love her. She said she loves her Layla-mama a lot and that you love her too." Sora told her with a smile. Seeing Layla's skeptical expression Sora explained, "I asked her how she knew that? She replied with a grin 'because she smiles and laughs and hugs me lots!' She is so sweet and precious, I hope she never loses it." Sora smiles at the sleeping girl knowing that it would be a long day tomorrow. "We had better get some sleep before Kenta wakes up again." She told Layla.
"Will you help me to actually tell her? I want her to know for sure how I feel. I want to be able to tell her how much I love her. In the morning will you teach me?" Layla asks her.
"Yes I will. I am glad you want to tell her in a way she understands. Bed tonight and I will teach you when we wake up. Lets hurry before he gets hungry again. We need our sleep too," Sora tells her with a kiss.
