He heard the sound of the door shutting, then a thud and a "damn it". He got off the couch and looked at the source of the noise and lit up the lamp next to him. She stared at him and sighed.

"Sorry." She simply said and clicked her heels towards the bedroom.

"It's after midnight." Cole shook his head confused.

"I know. I was busy." Phoebe replied.

"Were you at the office?" he asked her curious and followed her.

"It's none of your business." Phoebe told him and shut the door on his face.

Cole looked down and gritted his teeth. He was about to open the door. He hesitated at first, but then risked it anyway.

"Phoebe..."

"What do you think you're doing?" Phoebe asked irritated, as she had already taken off her dress and she was only in her underwear and stockings.

Cole stared at her hot body hypnotized.

"I..."

"I told you, we may be living under the same roof, but that doesn't mean you get to invade my personal space." Phoebe said and walked towards him and pushed him away.

"Damn it, Phoebe. You never talk to me." Cole said and hit the door with his arm, after Phoebe shut it.

He sighed, as she never replied. He decided to wait for her. He was so frustrated.

Yes, Phoebe and Scarlett may be back, but he had to sleep on the couch and she had to work all day and go to events and never talk to him. Scarlett was mostly at Piper's and in the evening he picked her up and spent time with her. He loved his daughter so incredibly much, but he missed Phoebe like hell. He needed to find a way and make her open up to him again.

She got out of the bedroom in a satin short robe and headed to the kitchen. Cole followed her and watched her, as she poured herself a glass of water.

"Phoebe..."

"Did you feed Scarlett?"

"Yes, of course."

"Everything ok?" She asked.

"No."

"I mean with my daughter." She specified.

"Our daughter." He corrected.

"So?"

"Yes, she is fine."

"Good." Phoebe replied and walked passed him.

"Phoebe, wait."

"What, Cole?"

"Will you tell me where you were?"

"I was at a work party."

"Alone?"

Phoebe rolled her eyes and tried to walk away, but he stopped her.

"Talk to me." He whispered to her heartbroken.

"I was with my co workers. These events are all work-related. I told you already."

"I hate that I am not there with you."

"Well, too bad." Phoebe smiled sarcastically and left.

"How are we going to make this work, if you don't want to talk to me?" He asked her looking down on the floor.

"You should have thought about that before you went and screwed another woman."

"Damn it. Stop bringing that up." Cole said, turned around, grabbed her arms and pushed her up against the wall.

"What are you doing?" Phoebe told him breathless and upset at the same time.

Cole crushed his lips against hers passionately after such a long time. His emotions were all over the place, all he wanted was her.

Phoebe resisted at first, but then he deepened the kiss and his arms went to her hips, caressing her curves, driving her crazy.

Suddenly, she regained control of her mind and bit his lips hard, when he squeezed her hips causing him to jump back.

"Ouch!"

"That was so over the line." Phoebe said frustrated breathing hard.

"Why did you bite me so hard?" Cole said angrily and touched his lips.

"Cause. What the hell, Cole."

"You haven't missed me? Us? Not even a little?" He asked hurt.

"You're so annoying." Phoebe told him and left the kitchen. She slammed the door behind her and leaned back on it breathing hard. That kiss was everything. She wanted to let him keep going and finish what he started, but her logic stopped him. She closed her eyes and touched her lips.

Cole went back to his couch defeated and decided to google Phoebe and see if any website wrote about her whereabouts. These days, it was the only way to find out what she was up to.

He found pictures from the party she attended earlier. She looked so radiant and gorgeous. Cole's heart started racing. He loved her so much. Then, he noticed the text underneath and he got so mad.

He threw the phone and got up.

"Phoebe!" He knocked on her door. "Phoebe!"

"What do you think you're doing? Scarlett is asleep. God, what's wrong with you?" Phoebe gritted her teeth and shut the door behind her.

"Are you seeing another guy?"

"What? Are you insane?" Phoebe closed her eyes and dropped her arms in frustration. She was so tired of his paranoia.

"It's on the internet."

"Oh, so then it must be true."

"They say you're dating a mystery guy.

"Elise..." Phoebe rolled her eyes.

"What?"

"She must have told that to the press. She is crazy."

"Why would she do such a thing?"

"For publicity. It's all really frustrating." Phoebe rubbed her head.

"So, there is no mystery guy?"

"No, but even if there was, you don't get to be upset about it."

"You're my..."

"Stop." Phoebe raised her eyesbrows.

"God, Phoebe. I can't do this anymore."

"Neither can I, honestly. Us being in the same house doesn't work anymore with your behavior."

Cole just stared at her, as tears started falling down his face.

"You don't get to do that to me right now. Stop." Phoebe sighed and turned around.

"What do I have to do to forgive me? What do I have to do to make us go back to how we were? How do I get my wife back?" Cole asked and fell on his knees.

"Don't cheat on me." Phoebe whispered heartbroken.

"I can't change the past." He told her.

Phoebe shook her head and went back to her bedroom. Cole was left there on the floor with his heart broken into a million little pieces.

It's been almost a month since that night and Cole decided to give her more space and see how that was working out. So far, the only words they exhanged were about Scarlett and nothing else.

"Hey." Cole greeted Phoebe.

"Hey." Phoebe replied and noticed a sleeping Scarlett in his arms. "She looks so peaceful."

"She is in the mood for hugs tonight. Whenever I put her down to sleep, she wakes up and cries or shimmers back to me.

"Really?" Phoebe asked and caressed her daughter's head and kissed her.

"I'll try and put her back." Cole said and stood up slowly. He went to the bedroom and tried setting her down, but she stirred and shimmered to Cole's arms again.

"See? It's weird."

"I think she's missing her dad. You've been working quite a lot lately." Phoebe told him.

"You think?" Cole smiled.

"Yeah." Phoebe nodded. "You know, if you're tired, I can hold her."

"I'm never too tired to hold my baby." Cole said and kissed Scarlett's head and went back to the couch.

He was watching a movie, while his daughter was sleeping in his arms. She was the only thing that made his life bearable and calmed him down. She was the only person who helped him get through each day. His baby girl.

Phoebe removed her makeup and got into something more comfortable. She stepped out of the bedroom and sat next to Cole.

He looked at her confused.

"I miss my daughter." Phoebe sighed and crouched her legs on the sofa.

"She misses you, too."

"She misses you more."

"True." Cole smiled and Phoebe rolled her eyes.

"What are you watching?"

"Just a movie. It's a thriller, that's why I have the volume down."

"I love a good thriller."

"I know you do." Cole smiled to her.

As they were watching the movie, Phoebe fell asleep. Cole smiled. He loved watching her sleep and he hadn't done that in months. She looked so beautiful. He stood up and decided to put Scarlett on her crib again. This time she didn't even stir. She finally fell into a deep sleep. He kissed her head and went back to Phoebe.

He took a long look at her and felt his stomach get fuzzy. He took a big breath and leaned towards her. As he lifted her up, her sweet scent overpowered him and made him close his eyes. He breathed in and carried her to the bedroom. He hadn't held her in so long, he didn't want to let her out of his embrace. He placed her on the bed and leaned over her memorizing her characteristics. She was incredible, he felt like he was falling for her all over again.

Phoebe stirred a little and opened her eyes. She came face to face with Cole. He stared at her not being able to break away.

She opened her mouth and he thought that she was about to yell at him, when instead she lifted her head up to him and captured his lips in a gentle, but strong kiss. She pulled back a little and stared at his heavy eyelids.

She grabbed his face and kissed him again, this time harder. Cole welcomed her tongue and reciprocated the passion. They were both breathing hard. His arms went to her waist holding her, while Phoebe urged him to get closer to him.

She kissed him and moaned, when he pulled back.

"Don't say anything." Phoebe told him, with her fingers on his lips and crushed her lips on his again.

His hands ran over her body, feeling every edge and every curve. His mouth went to her neck, nibbling and kissing on it, while his hands were busy taking off her little shorts.

His tongue travelled to her chest and belly. Phoebe moaned and grabbed his hair, as he felt him kissing her thighs. She brought him up to her and removed his shirt. She caressed his strong arms and kissed his chest.

Cole couldn't believe she let him in their bed again. She let him touch her, kiss her, show her how much he loved and missed her. The couple felt whole once again, as they reclaimed their love.
