How Things Work
The next morning was a Sunday. The animatronics were actually quite happy that one day after their Grand Reopening was a break, they were all still pretty tired from yesterday. And the girl's prank didn't help very much either. Shya took the animatronics back to their own pizzeria, even though they opposed. The Fazbear Crews were silently sitting on the show stage, Mike, Rick, and Thomas were there as well.
"So we have today all to ourselves." Bonnie said lying on his back with his hands behind his head.
Foxy rubbed his face and yawned, "Aye, bu' we ain' go' much ta do."
"Yes we do!" BB shouted. "We can play the arcade games-"
"Only a selected few." Wan interjected. "They'll get old too fast."
"Okay," BB started to think, determined to find something for them all to do. "How about we play tag?"
"Overrated." Bonnie deadpanned.
"Hide and seek?"
"Boring." Wan commented.
"Catch?"
"Stupid."
"I don't think you want to play anything." BB grumbled puffing out his cheeks.
"No, I do. But your games are for kids." Bonnie said.
"That's because he is a kid." Blu told the purple bunny. Bonnie just shrugged.
"Well then, I suppose I'll just go help on a few of Mr. Reynolds paperwork." Teddy said walking to the manager's office.
"Why would you do that?" Chira asked.
"I would do that because it is thoughtful, it will be beneficial for all of us, and... I have nothing else better to do." Teddy said adjusting his bow tie and top hat.
"Um, Dad?" BB said.
"Yes BB?" Teddy replied.
"Dad?" Wan repeated in surprise.
"Yes, it is a term of endearment that BB has for me." Teddy informed the crocodile.
"Oh okay, just caught me off guard for a sec." Wan said replacing his hands behind his head.
"What do you mean? We're right here." Rick joked.
"Haha, witty but corny." Mike chortled.
"Can you follow me please?" The small humanoid asked timidly.
"Of course." Teddy said. BB showed a small smile and took the bear's hand.
"Dad..." Wan repeated again before shrugging.
"Why is that so surprising to you?" Riomei asked.
"I dunno, maybe because one is a bear and the other one resembles a human." Wan assumed.
"I am so bored." Blu muttered.
"I'm going to go eat something." Goldy said skipping to the kitchen.
"Somebody please think of something for us to do." Bonnie pleaded. "The boredom is becoming too much to handle." Freddy looked toward the game area and saw Teddy walking toward them.
"So what did BB need?" The brown bear asked.
"I don't believe it's my place to say." Teddy answered. "You may ask him, but I shall respect his privacy since he wishes me not to say."
"Weirdo." Wan and Bonnie murmured simultaneously.
"How does requesting privacy make one weird?" Teddy asked in confusion.
"Nothing, forget we said anything." Wan deadpanned. Teddy narrowed his eyes and walked toward the manager's office. Freddy's eyes widened before he jumped up and ran off.
"Fred! Where's th' fire!?" Foxy called. Freddy didn't answer and kept running. The brown bear sprinted around a corner, disappearing from watching eyes. Freddy ran into the Prize Corner and gazed at the giant present in the center. It was open. His eyes widened as he lunged for the music box. He grabbed it and quickly began to wind it. The music was dangerously close to reaching its end. As the music started to play backwards, Freddy sighed in relief. He more gingerly wound the music box and replaced it when it was playing at its normal tone. Freddy looked at the present again and saw that the present was closed again. He sighed in relief again before walking out of the room. He strolled right past the other animatronics and headed to the manager's office.
"Freddy? Is everything okay?" Chica asked with a concerned tone.
"Yes Chica, everything is just fine." The bear mused as he continued to walk. Wan and Riomei exchanged glances then looked back at Freddy. The bear silently walked into the office closing the door behind him. The other animatronics were still watching.
"Teddy, what occurs when the present in the Prize Corner opens?" Freddy asked his counterpart. Teddy stopped dead in his work, frozen in disbelief.
"Are you telling me that the present was open?" Teddy asked, his voice shaky.
"Yes, I though about the music box while I was sitting and I went to the Prize Corner." Freddy explained. "When I got there, the present was open. I wound the music box and the present closed again." Teddy seemed to relax a little bit. His ears flattened against his head as he sighed.
"Thank you Freddy. I knew it was a wonderful idea to notify you of this problem." Teddy said. "As long as nothing come out of the present, we are fine."
"Alright good. I don't think anything exited the present." Freddy replied glancing back.
"Thanks again for your help Freddy." Teddy said warmly.
"You're welcome." Freddy said with a smile and ran out. Teddy finished what he was doing and then headed out the door himself. Suddenly Freddy ran right into Teddy's stomach. Freddy fell to the floor and shook his head to regain his bearings.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Freddy said.
"It's okay Freddy." Teddy replied holding out a hand. Freddy took it and stood back up sniffing the air a little.
"D-did you just?" Freddy asked.
"Pass gas? Yes." Teddy answered with an embarrassed chuckle. "It was kind of hard to hold in when you ran into me."
"I'm sorry." Freddy muttered covering his nose.
"It's fine. It was going to be expelled one way or another." Teddy said with another chuckle. Freddy smiled uneasily. "But did you need something?"
"I was actually just coming to get you." Freddy said, his voice was muffled slightly because he was still holding his nose.
"Freddy relax, it doesn't smell that bad." Teddy said sniffing the air. Freddy nodded slightly and lowered his hand.
"Um... do you think we can inform the others about this?" The bear asked. Teddy looked off into the distance as he went into deep thought.
"Well, I think we will have to have it remain a secret at least for a little while longer." Teddy said matter of factly.
"Why can't we inform them?" Freddy questioned.
"... I don't want to worry them..." Teddy muttered. "And I am certain you don't either." Freddy looked down and nodded. "Well, why don't we abandon the troubling matters and go join the others?"
"Alright." Freddy replied softly. Teddy showed a small smile as he placed a paw on the elder bear's shoulder. The two bears walked back to the show stage.
"Hey guys, is something going on or something?" Mike asked curiously.
"Why would you ask that?" Freddy replied, attempting to sound as calm as possible.
"I don't know, because you're not telling us sh-" Rick was cut off from Bonnie shoving a slice of pizza in the teens mouth. Rick glared at the bunny as he chomped on the slice.
"It's better than what Freddy would have done to you." Bonnie shrugged.
"That's because there is nothing to tell." Teddy added, obscuring the same nervousness. "So since we have the day to ourselves, what would you all like to do?"
"I would like you to spill the dang beans." Wan retorted.
"Yeah, you're hiding something from us. What is it?" Chira added.
"We are not hiding anything." Freddy said. Goldy frowned and stood up as he grabbed Freddy's wrist and pulled him away from the group.
"Brother, you are lying." Goldy growled.
"Why do you think I'm lying?" Freddy asked, his nervousness becoming more noticeable.
"First of all, if anyone knows you better, it's me." Goldy grumbled. "If you keep lying to me, I will embarrass you."
"Embarrass me?" Freddy repeated.
"Yes, and don't think I'm not serious brother." Goldy warned.
"How do you intend to embarrass me?" Freddy asked, aiming to call a bluff which was not. Goldy's eyes narrowed as he stared down the brown bear. Goldy stomped a foot to the ground causing Freddy to flinch. Goldy teleported behind Freddy and took his hat. The others were watching in confusion.
Freddy's eyes widened as he made a quick gasp, "What are you doing?"
"I'm about to embarrass you." Goldy growled stomping toward his brother. "But it can stop if you stop lying to me." The gold bear forcefully shoved the top hat onto Freddy's muzzle, Freddy staggered backwards in surprise. Goldy teleported behind Freddy again and held up his knee, Freddy in response fell backwards to the ground. The brown bear struggled to get the hat off of his face but to no avail. "It can stop brother. Just stop lying to me."
"I'm not lying to you!" Freddy yelled through the hat, his voice muffled.
"Tsk tsk tsk." Goldy uttered placing his foot on Freddy's stomach. He slowly started to apply pressure.
"Goldy stop, that feels really uncomfortable!" Freddy cried from inside the hat.
"That's the point brother." Goldy replied as he slid his foot downward toward the bear's groin.
"DON'T YOU DARE!" Freddy screamed.
"Will you stop lying to me?" Goldy asked raising an eyebrow.
"Why do you think I'm lying!?" Freddy cried, the tone in his voice becoming increasingly panicky.
"It's all in your tone! I know you Freddy!" Goldy yelled back applying more pressure.
"Ow ow ow! Stop!" Freddy shouted.
"I will only stop if you stop lying!" Goldy shouted back.
"But you're hurting me!" Freddy yelled.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" Goldy said easing off a bit. "I know what I'll do instead though." The gold bear started to slide his foot up and down and left and right.
"S-st-stop!" Freddy screamed a few nervous chuckles in between. It tickled but it felt awful.
"I hope you don't have to pee brother." Goldy said.
"I do! I DO! STOP!" Freddy screamed.
"I feel sorry for you. But, I will stop if you stop lying." Goldy sighed."All you have to do is tell me what you and Teddy are hiding."
"Goldy please! You're gonna make pee on myself!" Freddy cried.
"A small price to pay brother." Goldy muttered. Freddy scrunched up his face in discomfort.
"Okay! Okay! I'll tell you just stop!" The brown bear yelled.
"No, say it first." Goldy ordered.
"Y-you don't trust me?"
"I know my foot doesn't trust your waste tank." Goldy growled as he started to shake his foot more.
"Aaaahh! Okay! Teddy and I are trying to protect you!" Freddy yelled. Goldy stopped immediately. Freddy turned over to his side as he sighed and moaned in relief.
"What are you protecting us from?" Goldy asked.
"I'm not going to tell you." Freddy replied. "It's for your own good." Goldy growled and lifted his foot. Freddy quickly shot up to his feet. Chica walked up to the bear and removed the top hat from his muzzle.
"What are you protecting us from?" The chicken asked as well.
"Are we in danger of something?" Riomei questioned.
"What do you say Teddy? Should we tell them?" Freddy asked his counterpart. Teddy scratched the side of his head.
"Well, I suppose there is no way of hiding it anymore." Teddy said, sitting down. "We shall explain everything we know." Freddy sat down beside Teddy as the lighter brown bear began to explain. "There is something here, in this restaurant. It resides in the Prize Corner. Have you all heard the music that emits from that area?"
"Oh yeah! The song it plays is so soothing!" Riomei cooed.
"Yes well, apparently the 'thing' is appeased by the music as well. It has this power, a power to take over minds... our minds."
"How?" Bonnie asked.
"We don't know," Freddy answered. "All we know that it is on a mission to obtain control."
"Control?" Wan repeated. "Of what?"
"That, unfortunately, is another idea we know nothing of." Freddy answered.
"But, why didn't you tell us?" Blu asked. "What, you didn't think we could handle it!?"
"We didn't want to worry you." Teddy and Freddy said simultaneously.
"Worry us!?" Blu repeated. "Darlings, have you ever heard of the saying, 'ignorance in bliss?'" The two bears nodded. "It's a lie!"
"Blu's right." Chira stated. "Keeping us in the dark is only going to put us in even more danger."
"We're sorry. We never intended to put you all in danger." Freddy said.
"We wanted to make our best efforts to avoid putting you in danger." Added Teddy.
Riomei looked down the corridor that led to the Prize Corner, "Is the only way to protect ourselves is through that music box?"
"Yes, we have to keep that box playing at all times." Teddy said.
"That sounds simple enough." Wan mused lackadaisically as he placed his hands to the back of his head.
"You are underestimating the importance of this device, my friend." Teddy told the croc. Wan raised a brow.
"I understand how important it is." Wan countered. "It's very important. Essential to our survival even. I'm just saying that it seems like an easy job to do."
"It may seem like an easy job at first," Spoke Freddy, "But it can become monotonous and incredibly tedious. Almost to the point where you won't care enough to do it." A few of the animatronics' eyes widened. Mike, Rick, and Thomas were listening intently.
"Dang, and it's just a music box." Bonnie muttered.
"Dad?" BB's voice called.
"Do you need something BB?" Teddy replied.
"I just wanted to tell you that the music box is winding down..." The humanoid spoke quietly. The entire group jumped to their feet and rushed to the Prize Corner. They bumped and ran into each other as they arrived at the room. Bonnie lunged at the music box and it launched into the air. Chica caught it as the music was seconds away from stopping. She started to spastically wind the box as the musci quickly played backwards. When it started play at it's normal tone they all sighed in relief. Suddenly, a deep hollow voice spoke, "It'S mE." The animatronics and humans jumped in fear as the present in the center of the room opened eerily.
"IT'S HIM!" Chica screamed.
"Who's him?" Bonnie asked.
"That him!" Wan yelled.
"It could be a her..." Chira muttered.
"Do we care!? Get out!" Freddy and Teddy bellowed at the group as they all ran out of the room.
"Was that the thing!?" Riomei cried.
"I didn't see anything," Bonnie said with a panicked tone. "All I heard was, It'S mE."
"That was scary..." Goldy murmured.
"We told you, we cannot ever have that thing leave that Prize Corner!" Teddy said.
"At all costs!" Freddy added.
"Why do we have a monster that wants to kill us all living in our home!?" Wan exclaimed.
"Do I look like the constructor for this building? I'm as lost as you all are!" Teddy countered. "All I know is that we cannot and will not allow that thing to ever step foot outside that present."
"Now are you all happy? You know now, aren't you more stressed?" Freddy asked the group.
"Well it's better than being left in the dark and not knowing anything at all!" Bonnie yelled.
"Yeah! I thought you said we were a family!" Chica shouted.
"Exactly! And aren't family members supposed to help each other!?" Blu added.
"Some leaders you two are! Lying and hiding stuff from us!" Chira grumbled.
"We didn't do it intentionally! We were trying to protect you!" Teddy attempted to explain.
"By putting us in more danger!?" Riomei cried.
"Aye! Ye aren' bein' th' bes' o' captains!" Foxy growled.
"You not telling us was only risking us finding out in the wrong way!" Roxy added. "We could have gotten hurt!"
"Alright!" Freddy yelled. "That's enough! Just listen to us!"
"No you listen you dumb fat bear!" Bonnie growled grabbing Freddy's bow tie. "You better get your act together or you won't have a family anymore!"
"That's what I'm trying to do!" Freddy cried. "You yelling at me isn't going to assist me in accomplishing that!"
"How about all of you shut up!" Mike screamed, getting all of the animatronics attention. "Obviously this thing wants to gain control by splitting you guys up! And by the way you're acting, you all are doing a pretty good dang job of giving it exactly what it wants!" The animatronics fell silent, slightly ashamed. "Now all of you need to get your acts together or you will all be in deep!" There was no reply, Mike was right. They were letting the smallest of things get to and divide them.
"We understand Michael." Freddy stated softly. "Everyone, Michael is right. We must stay focused on the task at hand."
"But how are we going to keep the music box wound with everything that we have to do?" BB asked.
"Easy, we take shifts." Teddy answered. "We will all have specific times that it is their duty to make sure that the music box is wound."
"And it does not matter what you were doing at the point and time, make sure it is wound." Freddy added strongly.
"Sounds like a plan." Chira said.
"Yeah, I think we can do that." Riomei added. Bonnie stood quietly with his arms folded. Blu was standing in the same position.
Teddy and Freddy walked up to the two bunnies and spoke simultaneously, "We are sorry we let you down. Would you give us another chance to redeem ourselves?"
Bonnie and Blu exchanged glances and shrugged, "Sure, just make sure we have a reason to put all of our trust in you."
"You have nothing to worry about." Freddy and Teddy replied.
"Good, dang. You guys are such a handful." Mike murmured.
"Kids for real." Thomas said.
"And like you don't act like one?" Rick asked the young technician.
Thomas looked at Rick with a troll face, "U mad or nah?"
"Nah, I ain't mad." Rick chortled. "I was just pointing you out."
"I's be prouds of it man." Thomas said almost as if he were drunk.
"Watashitachi wa kodomotachi wa arimasen." (We are not kids.) Riomei said.
"Iie, shikashi, anata wa subete toki ni wa sore no you ni furu mau." (No, but, you all act like it sometimes.) Thomas told the raccoon.
"Um, not all of us speak Japanese." Rick pointed out.
"Gomen'nasai Rikku." (Sorry Rick.) Thomas replied. "(You mad or nah in Japanese.)"
"Still don't understand you." Rick deadpanned.
"He said sorry, you mad or nah?" Wan snickered.
"Oh, you might make me mad bruh. Cause I don't know what you're saying." Rick said.
"
My bad doe, bruh." Thomas chuckled.
"You good bruh." Rick replied, chuckling as well. Mike grinned at the two.
"Join us in our cool talk Mike, bruh." Thomas said.
"I'm good bruh." Mike said with a smile. "I'm hungry though."
"Say no more!" Chira said placing her metallic finger on Mike's lips. "Chica and I shall prepare a delicious pan pizza for all of us. By combining our recipes we will be able to great the ultimate pizza!"
"The ultimate pizza!" Chica cheered. The two chickens ran off to the kitchen in an instant.
"I am so going to eat that ultimate pizza." Goldy murmured as his stomach growled. "I am going to eat it so good."
"Are fantasizing about it?" Rick asked the gold bear. Goldy looked up as he went into deep thought.
"Deep dish... cheddar cheese... spicy pepperoni... sweet tomato sauce... crunchy, buttery crust..." Goldy muttered as saliva slipped out of his mouth. "Oh... my... gosh..."
"G-Goldy? You are creating your own water fountain..." Thomas said tapping the bear's shoulder.
"I don't care... I need that pizza..." Goldy replied.
"Alright buddy, just don't go crazy." Mike said.
"Crazy? Hehehe... you haven't seen crazy..." Goldy muttered.
"Dude, it's just a pizza. Calm down." Rick told him. Goldy's eyebrows arched.
"Just a pizza? Blasphemy..." He murmured, slight anger in his voice.
"Dude yo-, you're jus-... yeah okay." Rick shrugged.
"Ksh, this Thomas Moore radioing mission control, we've lost contact with Goldy, over. Ksh." Thomas said with his hand over his mouth, mimicking the sounds of a walkie talkie. Rick and Mike laughed.
"Ksh, is that so?" Rick asked, playing along.
"Ksh, do you think there is anyway to regain contact?" Mike asked, playing as well.
"Ksh, I know we better get him that dang pizza, over. Ksh." Thomas joked. The three of them started laughing again. Goldy was still standing and salivating over the thought of the "ultimate pizza."
"Imma go... see that pizza..." Goldy muttered as he walked off toward the kitchen.
"Clean up your drool before you go." Freddy said grabbing his brother and pulling him back.
"Stop brother, the food comes first." Goldy said walking off again.
"Actually, cleanliness comes first." Freddy corrected the gold bear pulling him back again.
"Stooooop!" Goldy whined.
"You stop! Clean this up before you leave!" Freddy ordered. Goldy growled at his brother. Freddy growled back. "I'm serious, clean this up!" Goldy responded by grabbing the top of Freddy's head, pulling him down, raising his own leg and farting in his face. The gold bear instantly ran off as Freddy flailed around in disgust.
"YOU REPUGNANT, REVOLTING, DISGUSTING GOLD BEAR!" Freddy screamed. "AND MY MOUTH WAS OPEN!" Mike, Rick, and Thomas were laughing their heads off.
"Nice one Goldy! That was awesome!" Rick praised him.
Freddy covered his face, "I can't believe he did that! That is absolutely disgusting! I think I'm going to throw up!"
"Calm down Freddy, it's okay." Mike said, still chuckling.
"NO! It is not okay! My own brother just expelled foul smelling gas in my face! And my mouth was open!" Freddy screamed again which caused Mike to start laughing again. Freddy glared at the night guard.
"I'm sorry! It's just that your reactions are priceless!" Mike laughed.
"How would you feel if someone walked up to you, put your face in the behind and expelled gas in your face?" Freddy asked.
"Grossed out by all means." Mike chortled.
"Exactly!" Freddy shouted. "And there is no way of getting it off!"
"Well you can go wash your face." Wan suggested. Freddy just growled, tightly closing his eyes.
"I am so unhappy right now..." He muttered. "I feel like crying..."
"What!? Over someone farting in your face!?" Rick yelled. "Dude, you need to man up! Or at least bear up, dang!" Freddy facepalmed as he stormed off to the men's room.
"So what now?" Bonnie asked.
Wan shrugged, "Dunno, I'm bored as heck."
"Lets go see if we can beat a high score on one of the arcade games." Bonnie said. Wan shrugged again and followed Bonnie to the game area.
"Whoo boy, that was a good laugh." Thomas said, wiping a tear from his eye.
"Whoa, can you smell that?" Mike asked.
"What, Goldy's farts?" Rick questioned.
"No, it smells like pizza." Mike said, wafting the air toward his nose. "It smells delicious. More so than usual."
"Oh yeah." Thomas agreed, sniffing the air. "That smells great!" The three guys marched to the kitchen, following the delicious smell of fresh pizza.
"That smells amazing you guys!" Thomas cheered, rubbing his hands together.
"Doesn't it!?" Goldy exclaimed, as he started drooling again. "I can't wait for it!"
"If it smells this good it is bound to taste good." Mike said with a large smile.
"Where's my brother?" Goldy asked.
"He's in the bathroom, he may or may not be still steamed." Rick answered, chuckling. Goldy frowned slightly, his ears flattening. Freddy suddenly walked into the kitchen, his expression was blank and calm. The brown bear took a seat beside Goldy but he didn't look at him.
"Brother?" Goldy asked softly and shyly. "Are you still mad?" Freddy raised a finger to Goldy's face, the gold bear flinched slightly. Freddy's eyes met with Goldy's, they certainly looked mad. Goldy gulped, maintaining eye contact with his brother. Freddy lowered his hand and continued to stare at Goldy. He gingerly took hold of his brother's bow tie and adjusted it.
"Don't worry about it, my dear brother." Freddy said. "Mere water under the bridge."
Goldy sighed in relief, "Oh wow brother. You scared me the-" Goldy was cut off from Freddy forcefully pulling his bow tie.
"Yes, it is water under the bridge now, but do it again and it will be my turn to embarrass you." Freddy growled. Goldy nodded vigorously, face full of fear. "I love you Goldy."
"I l-love you too F-Freddy..." Goldy replied uneasily smiling.
"Haha! You got served Goldy!" Rick shouted. Freddy slapped Rick hard across the face, causing the teen to fall out of his chair.
"He is my brother Rick. I am the only one that can tease him." The brown bear said angrily. "Anyone that teases or attempts to tease my brother will get what you received and more."
"You are the biggest jerk in the world..." Rick moaned.
"And you better get acquainted with it. Because anyone that crosses me will see how much of a jerk I can really be." Freddy warned.
Thomas rubbed his chin, "Well, this will certainly be fun to see a new side to Freddy."
"I dunno." Bonnie mumbled. "I think I like overprotective and crazy loving Freddy better."
"Overprotective and crazy loving Freddy is still here." Freddy assured with a smile. "I am just going to stand my ground from now on."
"Pizza is ready~!" Chica and Chira practically sang.
"YES!" Goldy celebrated.
"Alright! Lets eat!" Blu exclaimed. Chica and Chira passed the pizzas around, placing plates in front of each of them. Everyone had large smiles on their faces.
"Alright, I want one at a time to eat." Chica said.
"What!?" Goldy complained.
"We want to get a individual reaction from each of you." Chira added. "That way we can see how each of you like it."
"Might I add that this is the ultimate pizza." Chica said. "It is a combination of both my and Chira's recipes. So there are a lot of flavors in there."
"Let me go first!" Goldy shouted, his arm shooting up in the air.
"Go ahead." The two chickens giggled. Goldy smiled and happily bit into the slice of pizza, not caring how hot it was. He closed his eyes and savored all of the flavors that were bursting in his mouth.
"Hehehehehe~!" The gold bear giggled. "I am at a loss for words..."
"Great! That means it's good!" Chica celebrated, high fiving Chira. "Alright, who's next?"
"Me!" Bonnie said eating the slice whole. "Whoa... delicious is not the word..."
"Yay! Another good reaction!" Chira cheered.
"Me next!" Riomei cooed. The raccoon gingerly bit into the slice, slowly chewing on it. "Sugoi aa, kore wa subarashii desu!" (Oh wow, this is amazing!) Chica and Chira stood still, waiting for a translation.
"She said it's amazing." Wan translated.
"Whooo!" The two chickens shouted.
"Alright, my turn." Wan chuckled. After biting the pizza, the croc whistled in surprise. "Uu! Oishii!" (Whoo! Delicious!)
"I'm going to guess that means something good and say, YES!" Chica said, pumping her fist. Chira laughed and nodded in agreement.
"Let me try it." Blu said, probably the calmest of them all. The blue bunny bit into the slice and his ears stood straight up as his tongue came in contact with the cheese. "Oh my goodness gracious..."
"Good?" Chira asked in an anticipating manner. The blue bunny nodded slowly, his ears still standing erect. (No! Mind out of the gutter!) "Awesome! Who's next?"
"I wanna eat it!" BB exclaimed, attempting to reach the counter. Chica giggled and handed the humanoid balloon dispenser a slice of pizza. BB giggled as well taking a bite and enjoying it thoroughly.
"You like it?" Chira asked.
"Uh-huh, it's really good!" BB replied with a large smile. Chica and Chira smiled back.
"Alrigh', I wan' ta try it now." Foxy said impaling the slice of pizza with his hook. Roxy watched him and giggled inwardly. The red fox took a big bite of the pizza and grinned largely. "Well done lasses! This be amazin'!"
"Aww yeah!" Chira exclaimed excitedly.
"Me next." Roxy said carefully picking up the pizza and putting it to her lips, gingerly biting it. "Oh..."
"What?" Chica asked worried. "Is something wrong!? You don't like it!?"
"Chica calm down!" Freddy told her.
"Sorry..."
"That was my reaction, it is so good all I can say is oh..." Roxy explained, her voice soft as she spoke.
"Oh okay, then good." Chira said, relaxing a bit as well. "I think we just have the two bears left."
"Don't forget about Mikey, Ricky, and Tommy." Chica said.
"You three may go first." Freddy said.
"Alright, let's do it at the same time." Rick suggested happily.
"Sure!" Thomas chortled.
"Okay, one, two, three." Mike said as all three of them took a bite of their slices.
"Unbelievably delicious!" The three of them shouted. Chica and Chira grinned.
"Okay Freddy and Teddy, its your turn now." Chica said. The two bears took their time grabbing the pizza.
"I'm not sure why this is necessary, we already know that it's beyond scrumptious." Freddy said.
"Agreed, your cooking has never failed once before." Teddy added.
"Yeah but, we wanna see your reactions." Chira said cutely.
"Just do it for us please?" Chica asked just as cutely. The two bears shrugged and ate their slices simultaneously. Their eyes widened.
"Mmm, beyond scrumptious indeed." Teddy hummed.
"Superb flavors and they are mixed together to perfection." Freddy added.
Chica and Chira giggled erratically, "Thank you~!"
"Now can we dig in!?" Goldy asked excitedly.
"Yes, you can!" The two chickens replied happily. The entire group began eating their pizzas happily. Little did they know, a few yards away, a white pinprick light gleamed from the Prize Corner. Watching them, observing them, learning.
"Perhaps, I can use that to my advantage." A deep, dark, and hollow voice said. "I hope you're ready, Teddy. You're about to learn how things work around here." Like a snake, the light recoiled, receding back into the box, waiting for its time to strike.
