Lillian's point of view-two months later…
"Class; fifteen minute break," I called out seeing Jace fall to the floor his long hair tied back as sugar bug grabbed him his personal water bottle. "Oh stop brother," she giggled as she danced around his prone little form.
"I am still no used to it like you bug," he muttered under his breath but she stopped giving him a look, causing him to blush. I gave out cheese cubes and sliced apples to the kids, taking a seat next to Sky and Aria and at five months, I couldn't deny they looked identical to me other than miss matching eyes and Warren's full pouty sexy lips. Krimson with dirty brown hair and her eyes varied from light to dark when her moods changed.
Halo my sweetness was with aunt Layla today, but she was going with Jay and the twins after class to dinner, we are invited but I had things that had to be done. Magenta was playing the Latin music rather loud as I walked over seeing Halo and Blaine doing a dance I wasn't familiar with.
"Turn it down Mage, Halo no," I said as the music was turned down Halo pulling away blushing. I walked back out ready to head home as I walked in sugar bug looked alarmed, her eyes shifting to purple her and Jace right in front of the babies.
"What is it sugar bug?" I questioned my class moving behind Jace and Sugar bug, I sighed moving forward.
"Bad man is here mommy," Jace gave a deep low growl as sugar bug giggled like a loon. I felt it but saw nothing "Whoever is here show yourself, you're scaring the children," I said a clear calm voice my eyes narrowed. After three months with nothing now this, I was already on edge with no sex in three months two weeks and two days.
To my left Barron appeared making Jace bolt forward but I spun wrapping my arms around him "Stay with your sisters Jace," I said in a rare firm voice. He smiled walking closer and I was still unsure how to fight a dead man who was looking for a new body.
"Hello Lillian, I have been watching you for months just waiting on the perfect time. I didn't think these children would sense my presence here but I see young Evangeline looks so like her mother, my dear sister," he said as I cut him off my voice like a whip.
"No you don't to speak of Cassia or Nate, you cold hearted bastard you killed her real parents," I could feel my power like a second skin begging to be released but it wouldn't affect him, he gave me a look that wasn't so nice.
"I see you are still standing by my son, how convenient for him. But there is no point I will have you, one I have to punish you for killing me second to have you forever," he said it came as a low growl of arousal.
"You upsetting my mommy, you upset my Jace, you upset my sisters, you made Krimson sad. Evangeline no like you, Evangeline claw your dead eyes from ugly face," she snarled I gave her a withering look her temper so like War's.
"Barron I don't think you'll be easy to kill a second time, the first was so easy already," I smiled but Evangeline was angry her small body shaking, I wasn't fast enough she half bolted half flew between my legs I looked up in horror.
Evangeline was clawing Barron, a translucent like blood came from his chest and face, as he grabbed her. "Devil child," he said as she burst into flames going right back at him, he seemed unable to hold her as I started running to them. Seeing my baby girl being man handled set me in to a fury, Barron had her by the neck as he threw her. I stopped grabbing her midair, I huddled her close to me protecting her as we hit a chair then the hardwood floor.
I rolled getting on my knees ignoring pain as it seared through my chest, my eyes scanning my baby. "Sugar bug never do that to me again, are you hurt? Does anything hurt on you?" I was crying checking her over "I am okay," she said her voice soft.
"Now to take you," Barron chimed as I was dizzy, he grabbed me lifting me with ease. "No she's mine," Jace screamed but Barron stopped as I kicked hard flipping backward landing on my feet. With one fluent move I had Evangeline in my arms moving away. But shimmering figures stood I guessed they are why Barron stopped.
Nate dear god he looked the very same in his dark black suit, the day he died. My eyes widened next to him a shimmering figure smiled as she became not solid but not shimmering. Cassia in all her brown curly haired glory stepped next to Nate as another came, I wasn't shocked seeing it was Lillian my grandmother, but she had silver wings that I wanted to walk forward and stroke
"Barron Battle, you escaped limbo, with the help of Azaizel. You will not claim your prize because I am here with the favor of Meditron. To ensure my granddaughter is safe from you demon," she said her voice like mine but more wise and aged, it held more grace and power.
"I am here to stand in judgment, to ensure she stands protected," Nate chimed in a deep voice I still remembered. "Barron Battle, you have caused enough trouble on this plane. You are being called home by Lucifer himself, rest in hell for ever laying your demon hands on my daughter," Cassia smiled it was eerie and scary, as I on instinct pulled Eve closer feeling Halo and Jace next to me.
"No I am taking her with me," he snarled coming back at me but Nate stood in his way , dropping white dust around the floor Cassia and grandma walking around chanting in a voice and language that lightened my heart.
A loud bone cracking scream was heard, a flash of pure blood red flashed hitting the ceiling. Than nothing as Nate turned around his eyes met mine, they were cold but had a tender look about them.
"Evangeline," I heard knowing it was Cassia she rushed forward but stopped next to Nate, my grandmother was next to his other side.
"My dear you have given me five beautiful grandbabies, maybe William and his bride will be next or you my dear," grandmother said in a tranquil voice.
"I want wings too," Sugar bug said touching the silver wings "So soft never felt so soft," she smiled as Grandmother gave Halo a stroke to the cheek.
"You child are destined for very great things, you little boy are a protector one day you'll see what I mean. You bug are odd but still great things as Sky and Aria will change things," she smiled moving over to my twins.
"Sugar bug, this is your real parents. Remember I told you they died when you were a week old," I said a little resentful. "Yes," she said looking at her parents who looked back devouring her appearance.
"We don't have time to say everything now, but in your dreams we will tell you Evangeline. We have always loved you it's the reason we gave you to Lillian because her heart could hold our love for you and hers. Lillian, we have watched you since we passed, you have made us so proud. How you never gave up on Warren but became a mother to five never looking at who they belonged to, because in your heart they are yours. You were meant for great things and that was raising future leaders, protectors, and hunters," Cassia said smiled touching my face as tears streamed out.
"I was right about you that day, I would never gave her to Warren knowing he is to rash thinking. But you are everything we wanted for Evangeline, you could curb her exuberate nature. But thank you for giving her the best life, the love and devotion you have always shown all your children." Nate said with a rare smile.
"I am glad I used to think if you were happy with how I raised her," I said to them, I coughed.
"Time is up here, you have one more stop before you must come home. Be safe Lillian because I will be watching you," grandmother smiled she swirled and vanished.
"No sugar bug you may not," I said out of nowhere, Sugar bug laughed "Otay mommy," she said as I gave her to Lash.
"We are going to see Warren, I have a few choice words for that boy," Cassia snarled it was odd seeing it. "Wait I have to see this," I said Layla with Jace and Halo as Sparrow was with the other kids and three babies. "Of course, we will shadow travel," she said as I grabbed my purse, making sure my friends could watch the kids for me. I took Nate's hand which was like ice, then nothing as my belly wanted my cheese cubes to come back up.
"Open your eyes Lillian," she laughed as I did I was in the female bathroom at Haven "Oh okay I am going to head into the kitchen see ya there," I smiled walking out, seeing it super packed. I smiled and waved at the waiters and hostess, a few waitress waved at me I gave them a smile. Willow was eating with a rather handsome Boom, he cleaned up real nice. I walked into the kitchen seeing Warren hauling ass, Dice was over the large stove, and Will was carrying a huge metal pot as Speed was pulling bread from the oven.
I did notice Nate and Cassia moving closer into the kitchen as I smiled such a devious smile, as Dice turned his eyes wide seeing me and two dead people. "Umm man," he said hitting Warren in the shoulder.
"Dice fuck I am busy," he said "Dude," he said hitting him again as Warren wacked him in the knee. "Warren enough stop hitting him with that," I snapped he spun with a smile until he saw who I was standing with, fear.
"Warren Peace what were you thinking?" Cassia yelled he stepped back "Which time?" he asked her as I stood with Nate.
"Leaving her, drinking, hitting her, Warren we have watched since we passed. We have seen everything," she said her voice like ice as she advanced on Warren.
"Warren we love you, you're a great father. But I proved Cassia my point you couldn't be trusted with Evangeline as the reason I gave her to your mate. I know you wondered how something as close to an angel was meant for you, simple. Her ability to love, she would move mountains, part a sea for the people she loves. She was made for you her motherly nature, the way she looks, the fact she looked beyond your appearance, attitude and living style, she matched you in strength and attitude. Seeing you, the real you, she was willing to give up her family for your love, she has raised your children three never hers she gave you twins. But why are you still not the man she deserves?" he said and I blushed but Warren looked wounded.
"She deserves better I'll never be good enough for her, I see every fucking day how much she does for our family. She works, does everything for the kids, takes care of me, and does Heroine duty. I worry she is going to pass out on the floor dead, by the time I get home she is passed out from everything. Then I am next, but she is up getting kids ready for school, all happy. I dream of her every night no more nightmares, just her; I love her," he bellowed out.
"You are enough for me Warren, never doubt that. You make me happy, I don't need you hovering over me helping, and you have a job to do. You provide for your family, look at your dream "Haven" you made it happen you designed it with Dice. It was my money but your energy and devotion. I can't even cook, I order out or have my mother cook. I am sorry for always feeding sugar bug un-homemade food, I can't cook worth shit but I can bake." I said to Warren, Nate and Cassia.
"Haven, you never questioned the name. Haven is a place of refuge, I named it after you. You are my refuge, I find love, warmth and refuge in your arms." Warren said as my eyes watered.
"No I am going to murder you myself, for all this trouble. You left Barron the bread crumbs back, he tasted her blood. She killed him but he has been sent back to hell, so you better shape up or I am coming back with Grandma Peace and she will tan your ass Warren!" Cassia snapped he paled.
"But Lillian they all love you dear, be safe and thank you again for all you have done for Evangeline," she smiled as she took Nate's hand both kissing my cheek she gave Warren one last look before they vanished.
"Long story, I will explain later," I smiled knowing they were going to ask what happened, Will still looked worried. So I whispered everything in his ear, he paled his body stiffened he gave a look to Warren.
"I have to see for myself she is okay," he said before he barged out the door. "He has to see Eve make sure your father didn't hurt her, which he didn't but she sure clawed him," I smiled as I retold the story as they cooked.
"At least he is gone, no more dad trying to get my girl," Warren said tossing shrimp in a pan, as Dice placed finished orders to be delivered to tables.
I watched them until Will got back, he looked better as he finished his cooking joking with Warren and the boys. I walked out without anyone noticing me, I unlocked his truck getting in. I drove back to the school to everything I had to do before we had to leave.
Three days later-Friday…
It was one of those days I thought, thinking I was fat and ugly as the reason my boyfriend didn't want me sexually. Jace and Evangeline are with my mother and father, the twins are with Willow and Boom. So it was me and Halo running around paying bills, and shopping with Magenta and Krimson.
I left my hair down it curled down my back, with a sliver set of feather earrings with a matching necklace. As I buckled my blue ankle sandals pulling on a pair of dark denim washed short shorts. I found the top Angelo sent me from Europe, I told War my daddy gave it to me so I could keep it. It was a Floral and stripe print handkerchief hem top with hand sequin embellishment and adjustable straps it flattered my curves and large breast, I slipped to breast pads into my strapless bra. Halo as always looked lovely as we walked out; it was ten in the morning and this was the first time in a very long time it was just her and I.
"So we are having lunch at Haven together after we run around," I smiled as she climbed into the front seat, I buckled up starting the engine driving off.
"Sounds good," she smiled her hair trapped under her black beanie. I wondered if she wanted to get to know her now one month old brother Avery, Nick called me and told me Halo had a little brother. I stopped to pick up Warren's medication, and mine before heading to the power company. It was muggy out as we finished paying things but the air was blasting so it didn't seem to bother Halo.
"Are you okay Halo, you seem awful quite today" I asked her my tone worried she smiled at me "Nothing's wrong mama, just thinking. Like if I will ever get married? If you and dad will get married? Does dad care about you anymore, you hardly talk or spend time together?" her emotions are in Chaos.
"Halo yes you'll get married when you're 50, Warren and I will get married I am only 18, I seem older but we are both very busy. Daddy loves me and cares very deeply, but Halo we both run our own businesses, and I also have five kids and a large home to care for. We will talk I agree me and daddy don't talk or spend time together and I don't want you to get the impression we are not together. Reach in my purse there is a folded paper, I found this taped to the bathroom mirror since daddy had to be in at five this morning," I said as she opened my purse pulling out a sheet of paper, I watched as she unfolded it.
"What does it say Halo?" I asked already knowing but it showed her Warren cared very much.
"Good morning Beautiful how was your night? Mine was wonderful with you by my side. When I open my eyes to see your sweet face, since you came along I can't face everything because I know you'll be there. Have a good day I love you Lillian-Warren" she smiled a little.
"Well quoting song lyrics is always sweet," she smiled as I laughed she noticed that too. I pulled into Haven pulling into the staff parking lot because there wasn't any slots left. Lynn smiled hugging me and Halo before showing us to our small table it had a nice view of the kitchen, as she took our drink orders.
"Two ginger ales, don't tell him we are here," I smiled at her as she walked off getting us our drinks. "I think I will try the shrimp alfreado today mama," Halo said as she looked at her menu, I glanced at mine.
"I think I will try something other than seafood," I smiled as a young man came up to us.
"I am Dom, I will be you server today, I see Lynn got you drinks. Are you ladies ready to order?" he asked he was adorable, with a charming smile.
"I would like the shrimp Alfreado thank you," Halo said "I will have the seafood platter," I smiled as Halo scoffed at me "Mom, you said you would try something new," she giggled.
"I am a lady of habit my pumpkin," I said "She is your daughter, I guessed you were 19 maybe, she has to be seven at least," Dom said in disbelief.
"I am 18 and yes my daughter is six," I said but he smiled after taking our order walking off as we chatted about her boys and school. She liked the new classes at the studio, she had a little trouble with tap but it wasn't for everyone.
I looked up seeing the four boys smiling joking around in the kitchen "So that's Avery," I turned back to Halo she was looking at another table so I turned seeing Nick and Danni a small blue bundle. Nick smiled and I waved "Yes that's is Avery," I said.
"I don't think of him like Jace, Avery isn't my brother," she said turning away. "Yes he is and that's plan rude Halo Mia Peace, I don't care I hate Danni as much as you. But that little boy never did wrong, I am very disappointed in you Halo I raised you better," I said in a calm voice.
"I am sorry mama, please don't be upset with me," Halo said her voice hurt she was ready to cry, as I stood. I held my hand to her she took it without question as I walked to my ex and his wife, they got married days before Avery was born.
"Nick," I smiled he stood hugging me "you look fantastic Lillian, never have guessed you had twins," he smiled.
"I know it all the work at the studio and running after five kids it is the hardest workout invented. Does Warren know you're eating here?" I asked him as he gave me an odd look.
"Why would he care, I heard this was the best food in town from my mother," he said "Nick Warren and I own Haven, we built it he is the head cook. I suggest you two don't alert him he will tell not ask you to leave or do something rather unsavory to your meal," I smiled as they both paled, but they are noticeable.
"No worries he doesn't come out and you are far from the kitchen," I smiled as Danni looked at Halo.
"Don't stare at me," Halo snapped "I know you hate me and with every right, I needed to grow up and I have. I am not your mother Lillian is but I want you to get to know Avery, he hasn't hurt you," she said but Halo rolled her eyes.
"I have no problem with Avery but I don't want to be around you Danni. If Nick would bring him to my home or wherever I would be happy to get to know him," Halo said her tone final Danni nodded her head.
"I have no problem with that Halo," she said as Nick agreed he would text me for a time. I walked with Halo taking our seats as our food was delivered five minutes later. It was so delish, as I ate the lobster soaked in butter, it was fattening but yet I was at 109 pounds.
"So ladies are you enjoying your self's, will there be any desert for you today?" he asked as I declined and so did Halo. He smiled walking off to get our check as we finished she perfected eating not getting any on her face.
"Here you go," he said walking off knowing we had to pay Lynn at the front. I opened it seeing the check but another slip of paper, it was a number telling me I was stunning as I looked up my eyes meeting Warren's, he looked shocked seeing me. A text popped up Magenta was waiting I looked around seeing her and her mother, I gave her more a cold look.
"We have been found out," Halo laughed as Warren walked out bracing himself on his cane "And I bet ya'll weren't going to say hello, just eat and run," he said as he stood in front of us, before I could stop him he snatched the leather pay book from my hand.
"Yes, didn't want to bother you War. We are finished I need that so I can see my bill, before we have shopping to do. Since we paid all the bills and picked up medication," I smiled standing Halo took my hand.
"Hi dad," she smiled "Hey pumpkin, you look nice," he smiled picking her up kissing her cheek. He set her down opening the book I fought the urge to hit it from his hands, he didn't know I saw the guys number.
"Oh someone's going to die," he said his voice too calm, a scary calm as his eyes found the guy, I noticed Dom was putting an order up. "Warren stop he just took it for granted I was single, don't fire him he is a kid." I said as he looked at me.
"I am not going to fire him just beat his ass, you girls have a good day," he smiled walking off my mouth dropping, I watched Warren pulled the kids heading to the kitchen as I rushed Halo to Mage and hauled butt after Warren.
"You gave my wife your number," he wasn't asking as the guy looked green "I didn't know she doesn't wear a ring," he stammered.
"Because he hasn't asked for my hand in marriage we are dating, we have five kids together," I said Dom should have kept his mouth shut "Your 18 and have five kids did you start fucking at eight, that's nasty," he said as Will grabbed a pot crushing it making his way over.
"Excuse me bitch that's my twin sister, for your information three of my nieces and nephews are Warren's babies from his other relationships. My sister just had a set of twin girls," my brother said Dice and Speed ready to tear him apart.
"Oh playing mommy to his brats," he winked at me "Excuse me, Warren deal with him. I have better things to do," I said angrily as Warren picked him up by the throat yeah he was still strong as hell as he and Dice walked into a hidden room.
"Bye Will, are you and Layla sure about having Jace and sugar bug spend the night?" I asked my brother.
"Yeah it can't be that hard," he said as I smiled I was going to hype them bugs up before he came with Layla. I walked out having to finish my shopping with the girls.
It was rather fun as I was now feeding my twins on the sofa Warren and Speed closing as Dice got home thirty minutes ago. Halo at my parents, Jace and Sugar bug at my brother so I had the twins, I burped Aria who gave a loud burp before I put her in her chair before bed as I finished Sky next. After I tucked my girls in I walked back down stairs to finish my movie and pump milk.
I was on the sofa pumping when Magenta walked out, she laughed I just flipped her off. "Hey it feels better is there isn't so much milk in my breast," I smiled.
"I bet Krimson is sleeping and Dice might be sleeping," she said "Might be?" I asked that was odd. "Yeah he was so tired after sex," she said as I groaned.
"Still nothing?" she asked me "No near four months, I am going insane," I said frustrated she looked shocked. "I think it's because I am fat or something he doesn't want me," I kicked the throw pillow. "Shit," I snapped milk ran from my nipples the bottle over filling.
I capped it as she took the bottles into the fridge as I cleaned the floor cleaning up everything, I stood my top down using a baby wipe cleaning my stomach and breast as milk dribbled out. "Wow," I looked up and there was Dice looking at me with something in his eyes, as I pulled my top up.
"Yea I over filled the bottles and the milk spilt over," I laughed as Magenta walked in. "No he's alive," she stated seeing Dice in nothing but boxers leaning against the wall.
"I see Magenta," I smiled walking into the kitchen cleaning my pump before storing it, I was trying to stay awake to see Warren. I walked out Dice was waiting but I didn't see Magenta in sight "Hey Dice," I smiled.
"Come out side and talk while I smoke, Warren should be home in twenty minutes," Dice said it wasn't like he was asking he held his hand out as I took it. We walked to the back yard there was a slight breeze but it wasn't cold anymore, as he turned on the radio low as he lit his smoke.
"So was it really busy?" I asked him his long light brown hair falling in his face, Magenta knew what I did for Dice and the aftermath. I knew now I had to tell Warren, Dice and I have never given in and never would but it's there.
"It is always busy but we don't want to hire another person," he smiled "I thought since I am off Monday and Thursday I could come and do baking those days to help," I said he chuckled "That be so great we need help with the cakes, pies and bread and pastry's. Sadly they take the longest to make," he said his tone light.
"Yeah I already asked my mother to watch the twins those days so I could come and help. Don't tell War I want it to be a surprise," I smiled as a slow song came on he snatched my hand pulling me up. His arms wrapping his arms around my waist mind around his neck as we moved.

He moved with grace as we danced just staring at each other, the lyrics danced in my ears. It was nice being held by a man who I knew found me attractive, we danced as close as we could the moment seemed perfect the clear night with the slight breeze the lighten bugs moving through the Alabama sky, the music low but he was home I heard the door.
"He is home Dice, he will be upset if he sees us dancing," I said pulling away "He needs to know Lillian, things are changing," he said in a low voice.
"Give me a couple days and I will tell him everything, we haven't cheated so that's good but he will take it the wrong way," I sighed as the sliding doors opened.
"Hey kitten your up, Dice your unclothed," he said as I turned "Yes he is as he just finished having wild sex with Magenta, I was out here watching the stars trying to stay awake to see my boyfriend," I said my face devoid of emotion.
The boys sat and talked about work as I watched them, they were like brothers. I never once rerated my choice to help Dice even if Warren took it the wrong way, I could never regret it. "Lillian," I turned seeing Warren up his hand out, I took it standing.
"Night Dice," Warren said as he walked "Night Warren, good night princess," he smiled at me. "Good night Dice sleep well," I blew him a kiss as I walked with War to our room his arm around my waist I was happy he took his pills his pain was high.
"Let me change then we can lay down," he said walking into the bathroom, I heard running water as I climbed in bed. A few minutes later he walked from the bathroom in boxers and nothing else, as he set his cane next to his end table getting in his body warming the bed making it more comfy.
"Why were you and Dice outside together?" he asked "He was smoking as you saw and I always sit outside to calm myself." I snapped nothing has ever happened.
"It's just the way he looks at you sometimes, like he wants you," he sighed pain at the thought of Dice and I together. I sat up turning on my light "We need to talk," I said my curly hair everywhere.
"I helped Dice years ago as you remember, you never asked me what it was I helped him with. Well he had some symbols on his chest like yours but his were finished, he had someone to remove or naturalize them. But it needed a female heroine who would willing give blood, they couldn't be bonded so that ruled Mage out. He asked me because he knew we were mated, and I would help him. I gave my blood and was there when the man stopped the runes from killing Dice or turning him pure evil. Well there have been odd things, I can feel Dice we aren't mated nothing like that. It just grew as the years passed nothing has ever happened between us in a sexual way, Magenta knows all this she didn't want her mate to die and he is like your brother, I never regret helping him," I said in a rush I added more than once nothing has happened.
"You feel him like his emotions, things like that. I mean yeah I am glad you did it, but it still sounds like you're bonded to him," he said his anger growing but he was honest he was happy I did it.
"No well yes kind of, I have no mark but I feel his emotions, his smell is stronger than other males, he can smell me even if I am not in the same room. He knows when I am upset things like that we chalked it up to trying to be brother and sister, but as we grew up views changed. If we didn't have mates yeah I am sure we would be together. But I love you and him Magenta, I mean you don't care for me it's been near four months and I am still too ugly for you to touch," I snapped his anger was rushing over spiking my own.
"Don't start on me about sex Lillian. I am tired after work I guess you can't understand that," he said his emotions pissed me off, he thought his job was harder than mine, there was regret there too.
"You son of a bitch, how dare you ever say something like that, nice emotions Warren. I understand you're tired after work and with your leg, but guess what asshole. I work hard, I own my own studio, and I teach classes, do plays that pay our bills. I raise five kids, I run around doing everything. I have been taking cooking lessons on my day off to help more like I wasn't doing enough, while you cook and most likely fuck the whores at your work like all the ones who come up to me. Don't ever think I don't do as much as you because I do, I do more than you ever could. My job doesn't end, when our twins wake or Jace has a nightmare, it wakes him up but it's me there. But your still so high and mighty thinking the stupidest crap," I yelled getting out of bed heading to grab my robe.
"I understand Lillian you do so much and I don't, I work as hard as I can for us. But nothing I do is good enough for you," he said but his emotions are what's pissing me off.
"Maybe we shouldn't be together if that's how you really feel Warren, I feel your emotions and that's what I am talking about. I have never not once said anything about you not doing enough, I have had your back been there through everything no matter how hurt I was. I have never abandoned you I stuck it out, seeing you hurt helping any way I could. But Warren maybe you'll never change." I said pulling on my robe ready to walk out away from him.
"Still bringing that up, I fucked up I left I get it hurt my girls. It kills you inside the thoughts going through your crazy mind," he stopped knowing it hurt me.
"But as you see I have gotten better, not needing any medication other than pills. But you Warren have crossed a line you promised never to cross, whatever lasting damage is there will always be on you, I didn't ask for it, it's your fault you have to live with it, knowing the one person other than your mother who cared enough about you to be with you is the one person you damaged," I said he looked hurt.
"Stop don't walk away from me," he said low "I am walking away and right now you need to know it might be for good," I said opening the door but his hand slammed it shut.
"No, I won't allow it you are mine, Lillian," his anger was showing his eyes onyx, I stepped away from the door "You can't walk out on me, I need you I always have. We are done fighting I love you Lillian, I am sorry for being stupid. Get in bed I have work and so do you," he said through clenched teeth pulling me by my long hair "Get in that bed or I am going to get my belt back out and you won't like it Lillian," he snarled low my heart raced he won't dare.
"Stop you're hurting me Warren," I said with small tears, but he didn't care as he shoved me into the bed getting in next to me, as I pulled the covers to my neck turning away from him.
"No you want sex I am ready," he said pulling me close but like hell I was having sex with him tonight. "No, I will not have sex with you, let me alone so I can sleep Warren," I snapped my eyes shot open, his anger flared like never before.
"Oh now it changes, before it was four months nothing now it's don't touch me. Stupid bitch make up your mind," he growled. "I have made my mind up don't touch me, good night," I said.
He pressed his body into mine as I pushed back, his hand flew across my face knocking me off the bed with a sickening crack my head hit the dresser. I shook my head but he grabbed me lifting me with ease "See now look at you," he said setting me on the bed, my head clearing enough seeing he was up limping. I tried to stand but nausea and vertigo clouded everything as I stumbled to the floor.
"Yeah nice try kitten," he whispered bending me over, I closed my eyes trying to clear my head enough to use my powers since walking was out. This wasn't good I felt something leather and cold drift across my ass, as I started screaming it was panic setting in as his covered my mouth.
Searing pain as his belt came across my bad, then again and again, as my head cleared from the pain. I grabbed his arm shocking him sending high volts he screamed and flew back, blood trickled from his mouth. But I knew he was alive dear god he was as crazy as me, but I don't go around hurting people.
I reached for my cell texting Dice, I pulled my robe half on as my door flew open. His eyes moved from me to Warren as Magenta pushed him running to me my head bleeding face bruised, blood covering my back but she didn't see that yet.
"We had a fight, put him in bed, I am sleeping in the twin's room tonight," I said trying to get up Dice was dragging and carrying Warren who was hard muscle. "Come on I got you Lillian let's get you cleaned up," Dice said picking me up but I cried out he set me on my feet, pulling my robe off, seeing the robe was sticking to the blood beyond the blood slash marks from his belt.
"Dear god Lillian, come on," he said dragging me to my bathroom with Mage in tow. As he bent me over my sink I cried while they cleaned it, it burned and stung like hell. But after I pulled a very loose top on walking out taking my cell with me shutting the door. I sat in the plush rocking chair Dice was trying to convince me to lay with them or at least the sofa.
"No, I am not tired I think I will watch the girls sleep its very relaxing," I said sniffling, he gave me such a look before he walked out I heard a loud crash but didn't get up just covered myself with a blanket.
6:00 am…
I was still awake hearing my bedroom door open and shut, I stood heading to the cribs seeing them still sleeping. I felt his heat behind me I fought the urge to move away from him, his emotions are tired and calm nothing more other than love.
"Lillian, I know your upset about me yelling at you but please understand I was just tired and thinking rash," he said oh dear he hit his head to hard he didn't remember last night. "Please look at me so I can talk to you," he said, his arms going around my waist his body flush with mine. I bit my lip so hard I moved getting free of his arms, tasting my blood.
"Lillian your face," he said coming closer as Dice stepped into the room "Yeah her beautiful face is bruised Warren, another smart move on your part." He said standing in between us as I whispered he didn't remember from being knocked out.
"Oh don't remember beating on her, well let me have the honor of showing you how bad you messed up this time," he pulled me to his side, Warren was pissed he was holding me but seeing my face dry blood on the side the lump also black and blue.
"No this isn't the worst, she should have killed you," he said lifting my top over my head my back turned to Warren, the gel making sure my shirt didn't stick to my flesh. "See damn it Warren, how can you do this to her," he bellowed as I covered up we were in the hallway the twins door shut as I walked into my bathroom turning on the shower, I had work sending Mage a text to listen for the girls so I could clean the blood off me before work.
It felt good the heat cleaning was painful everything sore, I felt a cool breeze Warren's scent filled the heat making it more potent. I heard the doors open and his body behind mine, his fingers trailing over the marks.
"Do you want me to leave to move out, just tell me so I can do it," he said his pain at seeing me, his pain I felt pain, anger, loathing and worthlessness.
"I don't want you to leave Warren," I said low knowing I loved him "But you're getting help with your anger, I will make calls on my lunch break," I finished he turned me around his palm on my cheek looking down at me with love.
"Anything Lillian," he said before kissing me his lips sweet but I pulled away. "Not right now, I have to get the twins ready and head to work and so do you," I said getting out letting him wash himself as I dressed for the day, Magenta bless her had all three babies ready as I walked down stairs leaving with her for work Dice kissed us both before we left.
I knew he would be upset with me for leaving but it hurt right now to see him, as I sent him a text around nine, as I had to feed the girls before my next class was coming in a little cereal mixed in with my breast milk they gobbled it up.
"Sorry I left without a good bye, I needed to clear my head. I love you Warren have a good day," I said as the three girls napped and my next class walked in, this day was painful and exhausting like no other. Jace was in a foul mood when he saw my face, I told him mommy fell down the stairs, Eve and him were worried I tripped over one of their toys and promised to clean them and their room as soon as they got home, but Halo watched me dance copying my moves, but her eyes held knowledge I couldn't lie to her so I said nothing about my face.
I checked my cell after Halo's class she was staying dancing in every class until I left for the day, Jace and Bug are taking three different classes today.
"I deserved as much Lillian, I deserved so much more. Have a good day see you when I come home, I love you so much," I smiled putting my cell up.
