So I uploaded this at 2 in the morning and me being the idiot that I sometimes am realized until after it was up that I forgot the author's note and the dividers. I'm sorry those who have read this without and those who will probably read it after.

But here I am wanted to stay off the computer for today to read and I'm on it fixing my mistakes... so I probably won't leave it and may end up writing another chapter.

Anyways this starts right after the last chapter.

"Ouch!" Tobias hits his back against a wall. "Why is it so dark?"

"I didn't turn on any lights." I slide down to my feet and take his hand. "This way."

"Yes ma'am." He follows me down the hall to my room, and pulls me up to him so he can kiss my neck. My hand feels for the door knob turning it and pushing the door open. Tobias pushes us through before kicking it shut with his foot.

My hands grab the hem of his shirt and start to pull it off. "Hold on." He pulls away and slides off his coat before grabbing the neckline of his shirt and pulling it over his head. I grab his under shirt and his mouth pecks at mine, his hands slide down, opening the buttons of my coat. I drop my arms so he can slide it off.

I pull his sleeveless shirt out of his pants and his hands grab the neck line before ripping it. "What is with you and ripping clothes?"

"It's faster. You shouldn't complain." He throws the tattered shirt and works the top of my cat suit down my torso. His hands cup my breasts. "Let me take you to bed." I pull him after me to my bed, fingers fumble with belts and I hear Tobias huff. "Is this how you felt trying to get my belt off?"

"Sometimes." I slide his belt through the loops on his jeans before unbuttoning them. "Not really going with the fashion these days?"

"Looks stupid if you ask me." He gets the belt off and slides the rest of my outfit down my legs, "You seem to be wearing it nicely though."

"Mmm." I lie back on the bed and lift my hips so he can remove my underwear. I pull myself to the middle of the bed and, after a few, he follows, condom wrapper between his teeth.

"What? It is the sexual revolution after all." He takes care of that and I giggle. "What?"

"Remember when we first started doing this?" I smile at him.

"When I hurt you?"

"No after like in your apartment in Rockford or during our trip here. Remember the places, your truck by the lake. That time you came and got me from school. The time in Max's bathroom after I got my first tattoo. Just do it." He pushes in me and I take one of his hands in mine.

"Am I not allowed to touch you to get you ready?" He kisses my neck.

"There was no point I want you and I needed you soon." I rest my free hand on his back.

"And to answer your question, yes, I remember. And I couldn't get enough. I loved you so much and it felt like the only way I could show it in all it's intensity." He kisses me and his hips don't stop.

"Hey! Tris!" There's a pounding at my bedroom door. "Wake up! It's nearly noon!"

"Make it stop." Tobias groans into my shoulder and pulls me closer.

"Tris! Do you want breakfast?" Mitch starts pounding again. "Tris? Don't act like you're not here! I saw your shoes in the living room! Which we are gonna have a talk about that."

"Babe!" Tobias rolls over and throws his arm over his eyes. "Make her go away!"

I giggle.

"Don't laugh at me." Tobias hisses as Mitch yells. "Are you laughing at me?"

I get up and grab a shirt and underwear to put on before opening my door enough to slide out and shut it before Mitch can see in.

"Ah is there a young man in there?" Mitch goes to open the door and I smack her hand.

"I don't do that to you."

"You should. Make me behave." She heads to the kitchen and I follow. "So he is still here so it's not a walk of shame is it?"

"No." I grab the coffee pot and Mitch stares at me.

"Will he be eating with us?"

"Probably." I fix my coffee and Mitch nods.

"Should you ask him how he likes his eggs and coffee?"

"He likes his eggs over easy if there's toast or a biscuit with it if not then he likes his yolks almost done and he takes his coffee black with two spoons of sugar." I blow at my cup and Mitch takes it from me and bends down to my height.

"Is it who I think it is in there?" She sets my cup down. "Is this one of those times that I need to give you a talk or is it?"

"We are working on our relationship. We're gonna try." I reach for my coffee and she nods before turning to the stove.

"Tris?" Tobias calls and I set down my cup and head to my room, Tobias has the door open a crack.

"Mitch is cooking 'breakfast' for us." I say to him and he nods and opens the door. "First, you have to put on clothes."

"I love you okay?" Tobias kisses me once more from outside the apartment door after breakfast. "I love you so much."

"I love you." I kiss him and he heads down the steps.

"So I owe Jay twenty bucks. He bet that by the new year you'd get back together and I said that if it wasn't going anywhere by summer that he owed me twenty." Mitch sighs. "So now you two are together are you going to tell him about your job?"

"Nah. I'll tell him when we are back together for longer than a few hours.

"Hey Tris." Zeke smiles as I walk into Max's house.

"Yo!" Eric gives a wave. "Four's out with Max right now. Liana wants to know why you haven't been to see her."

"Busy. I'll visit sometime I promise. I'll be working for the rest of the week so Tobias probably won't see me. Care to let him know happy birthday for me?" I leave so I can go to work.

The bar is empty, tonight doesn't seem to be a good night for me. I've only had two people ask for me to sit with them. Not many want to be out on Valentines I don't blame them. I duck my head into the boss' office.

"I'm gonna head home."

"See you soon, Tris." Big Red calls after me.

'Does anyone even know her name?' I remember asking Mitch and Tina one night when I first started. 'No, most just call her Big Red.' Tina had shrugged. 'Well I'm off!'

"Good night ladies and gentlemen!" I call down the hall being met with cheers and whoops and 'goodnight Tris'. I walk the block to the lot where my car is parked and stop short the black hair that's cropped short, the mud caked boots, and the piercings gleaming in the sun. Eric.

Eric is walking around my car.

He stops when he gets to the front, thumb pressed to his lips. "This is a pretty nice car." He looks at me. "Datsun 240Z pretty expensive."

"So?" I fold my arms and we stare at each other for awhile.

"I thought something was wrong." He looks back at the car. "Will you tell Tobias that I'm gonna be gone for a few weeks?"

"Where are you going?" I open the driver's door and Eric shrugs. "Why do I have to tell Tobias?"

He looks at me eyebrow raised. "I think we both know why. I'm not stupid Tris."

"Can I drive you somewhere?"

"To Aurora would be nice. But it's a ways-"

"I don't mind get in." I start the car and watch as Eric gets in.

We are ten minutes into our drive when he shakes his head. "What are you doing, Tris?"

"Well, Eric, it's called driving. Tobias does it I'm sure you do it too."

"No I mean. How did you get this car? Not only this car but a few months ago you were driving a completely different car-"

"Mitch needed a car so I let her have that one. Plus it was too big." I shrug.

"Tris, this car is twice what a normal job could get you. One I know you don't have the qualifications for that. And your clothes recently have been nicer than what you normally wear. Now the others believe that you gave up on Tobias and have a sugar daddy. I know that's not true unless you're cheating on him, like Tobias thinks."

Like Tobias thinks?

Tobias thinks I'm cheating on him?

"But I know that's not true." It's quiet and I should turn on the radio, but I don't in case Eric starts talking again.

"You can let me out here." He finally says when we get to the edge of Aurora.

"Okay." I pull over and Eric turns to me.

"Thanks"

"I work at the nightclub as an escort, the one three blocks from the park. I'm not cheating." I keep my eyes straight ahead.

"I know you're not cheating. Does Tobias know?"

"Is Tobias not lying to me about his own job?" I tighten my grip on the steering wheel.

Eric purses his lips before nodding. "Touché."

"Why do you care so much?" I finally look at him. His dark blue eyes pass from the windshield to me.

"Goodbye, Tris." He says and right before he leaves his mouth moves. I hear the words and they seem to hit me in the chest. What ever I could say is stuck in my throat. I turn and grab his wrist pulling him back.

"Excuse me?"

I'm twenty minutes from Chicago when I can't drive anymore, my knuckles are white and my fingers ache. I watch the sun go down and I'm aware of the cold. I wipe my face and start the car, I hear the back tires spin with a whine and the car fishtails. I try again with no improvements.

"Goddammit!" I rest my head against the steering wheel. I'm stuck. Stuck and in no attire to really be out and walking.

I grab my coat and step out, almost sliding on ice. I get as close as I can to the shoulder of the road and walk to the nearest town. I hear a horn honk and a car slows.

"Hey, darlin' do you need a ride?"

I don't bother to look at the man. I need to find a phone.

"Sweet cheeks!"

I tuck my hands under my armpits. The wind blows against my knees. Go-go boots and a mini dress were not a good idea, though I didn't expect to not go straight home then out with Tobias.

"Sugar tits!"

"No thank you." I finally say. I can't be that far from a town.

The engine next to me stops and I hear the door open. The hair on the back of my neck rises and I turn to run into the snow on the side of the road. A safer bet than slipping on the ice and breaking something.

I don't know how long I'm running but I do trip and fall half on the road, skinning my knee and palm. I see a gas station. There has to be a phone there.

I find it and there's a woman on it. I lean against the wall and she looks at me, eyebrow raised. I know what she's thinking of me the same thing that the man in that car thought. The way I'm dressed. The woman gets off the phone and I grab it, the receiver still warm.

I dig through my pockets for change and dial Tobias' number.

"Hello?"

"Tobias?"

"Tris? Where are you I thought we had dinner plans tonight?"

I sniff and wipe at my nose.

"What's wrong?" He sounds worried and I can't stop the tears.

"I've had a long day. Can you come get me?"

"Where are you? Is something wrong?"

I take a deep breath and let it out. "I just made it into Cicero. My car is stuck along the road and I'm cold. I just want to go home, Tobias. Please."

"Okay. Okay, stay there I'll be there shortly." He hangs up and I put the phone back before heading into the gas station where it's warm. After almost a hour the door of the gas station chimes and then I feel arms wrap around me.

"No wonder you're cold. What are you wearing, Tris?" Tobias squeezes me.

"Can we please talk about this later? I just want to go home."

"It's pretty late you know. May have to get a hotel room." He takes my hand and pulls me out to his truck. "Wait in here." He kisses my head before turning to head back in.

Once in I see a blanket in the floor and cover myself with it before resting my head against the window, closing my eyes.

"Babe?"

"Mmm?" There are fingers in my hair, my face is against something warm.

"Are you hungry?"

I nod and sit up, blinking my eyes open. Tobias is sitting on the edge of a bed, his brow knitted in the middle. He hands me a sandwich on a napkin before getting up.

"I brought you clothes. Mitch nearly had a heart attack, yelling at me for wasting time to come get you. Anyways the shower is open, water will warm you up."

"Okay." I stretch and lean down to unzip my boots when I realize they're already off. I slide my dress over my head and when it's off I throw it in Tobias' direction. Once I get the shower I sit on the floor, my knees bent. I cup some water and rub at my knee to get the blood off. Once I'm done and the water no longer feels warm to me I turn it off and open the shower curtain. Tobias is standing in the middle of the bathroom.

"Don't," he speaks when I close the curtain so only my head is sticking out. He holds open his arms and I step out to let him scoop me up over his shoulder. He sets me down on the edge of the bed, a towel in hand. He rubs it along my feet and up my legs.

"Is there a point? Just come here." I run a hand through his hair, tugging at the curls over his ears.

There's nothing that I could love more than his face buried between my legs. With one hand tangled in his hair, pushing his face towards me. His finger nails are probably leaving dents in my skin, little crescents. My wet hair sticking to my face.

My body spasms and I hear him give a laugh.

"What?"

He pulls away, eyes looking up at me. "Nothing." He whispers before ducking back down. My body gives another jolt when he slides two fingers into me. His other hand flattens itself against my stomach to hold me down, my thighs squeeze around Tobias' head.

I know I'm close.

I know that he knows that I'm close.

I know he knows when his fingers quicken their pace. When the hand on my stomach finds it's way to hold mine. My back hits the bed and my legs go slack.

He slides up my body, his eyes hold mine. And for now I forget everything. Eric, my car, my job. Everything.

When he slides home my hands dig into his shoulders, rake down his back. I mash my lips to his as he holds my legs right behind the knees. His hips rocking against mine.

"Are you going to tell me why you were out here?" Tobias asks me, my head resting on his chest. I listen to his breathing. To his heart.

"For work." I lie.

"Work." He repeats and I nod.

It's later when he's asleep that I can't keep what Eric said out of my head. The whole conversation really.

'I'd do anything for my little brother's girl even if it meant helping him kill a few people.'

'Excuse me?'

'Evelyn is right you know.'

'What?'

'Jack Kang's death wasn't an accident. Though that was more me.'

'More you?'

'You remind him of Zoe.'

'What do you mean little brother, Eric? Who's Zoe?'

'Oh, don't tell Tobias this. Not yet. Maybe not ever. Marcus isn't his dad. And my dad may be his. You can't tell him that I told you about Jack Kang. You should have seen the look in his eyes when Kang died. Worthy of a mafia leader's son. And Zoe? She means the world to little brother.'

'What?'

'Goodbye, other little sister.'

'Eric!'

So far many of you have asked who Zoe was, which by the way don't stop yourself say fuck if you want "who the fuck is that woman?" Good point though I bet some of you haven't read anything in Stones to Skip because in there Tobias mentions a Zoe. So some of you may have wondered why she was mentioned there because she causes problems but not in the way that you think.

So a Datsun 240z was a pretty expensive car like $4,600 dollars for the new model a single woman's annual income was half that in the 70s. But Tris was able to get it in a short amount of time.

So Marcus isn't Tobias' dad. There's been confirmation that they were the ones who killed Kang (which is very important because Tris does some researching later)

So we're at this part where this year may be skipped around quite a lot. If you get confused about anything ask because I can tell you if it's something you're suppose to be confused about because Tris doesn't know, something that you are suppose to know because it could be in an earlier chapter.

But see you later that may be later today later this week later whenever.
