"The Digidestined?" Josh blinked back at the three figures. Reptiledramon turned back into Dorumon.

Boarmon turned back into a brown and purple like small boar. He had a helmet on the top with yellow type symbols. His back legs were foggy as they were clouds. Tapirmon was his rookie form.

ExVeemon was next, he turned to a small little version of himself. He had a short spike on his nose. He had no wings, but had almost the same shape body. Veemon looked up.

Sunflowmon turned into a small pink bud type Digimon. It had little feet and arms that were green. She had a yellow like propeller leaf on top of his her head."Lalamon," Dorumon smiled at Lalamon.

"So you guys are the the other Digidestined?" Josh asked and the middle one walked up.

"We could say the same as you, My name is Lanny," Lanny introduced himself. Lanny's blonde hair stood out, spiky and almost spread out. It had goggles that could be more defined than anything else. He had brown eyes and light tan skin. He wore a green jacket and black shorts.

"My name is Phoenix D.D." A boy with a blue shirt walked up. He had a badge on the shirt. His eyes could be easily looked as a panda type. He also had black hair, but that's not what Josh and Sandy were focused on.

"You have a weird name…" Sandy said while trying to stand up from her previous injuries.

"Well it was because of my parents, I don't know, they just named me that." Phoenix gave a warm smile that annoyed Sandy.

"That's weird," Sandy commented and looked away. Sandy's eye turned to the final person. "Would you like to introduce yourself?" She asked.

"Yes, I would," the girl walked up. "My name is Gwen," she bowed. She had a pink bandana around her head which was her high point, just like Lanny's goggles. She had brown hair with orange highlights that matched her brown shirt with a red headband around her neck. She had a pink skirt with two white lines in the side.

"Gwen," Josh blinked and Gwen smiled with a slight giggle. "Well my name is Josh."

"If you like to know, I like to draw," she informed and then Lalamon jumped up to her. "Flora?"

"My name is Sandy, it's not hard to remember," Sandy shrugged and leaned back. She was resting from her fight.

"Gwen… did we do good?" Lalamon asked and Gwen nodded.

"You did perfect," Gwen hugged her small Digimon.

"Well it looks like we did some damage coming in," Lanny looked around. "Should we clean up the place?" Lanny asked and a shadow showed up behind them.

"That's not necessary," Everyone looked at the hole and it was Gennai. He was an old man wearing a noble kind of uniform.

"You were the one who sent us here," Phoenix mentioned and Gennai nodded.

"Well why are we here?" Lanny asked and Gennai turned around.

"You see, after a long adventure, you are all together for the first time." Gennai turned his head to the side. "The Darkness is rising," Gennai informed.

"We know that," Lanny stepped forward. "But tell us why is it so important that we are together. Our Digimon defeated the opponent just now."

"Yes that's true," Gennai turned back around. "That doesn't mean other darkness are not out there." Gennai raised his hand. "There's Digimon out there stronger than all of you combined right now."

"So what now?" Gatomon asked. "You have some kind of plan?" Gatomon asked. "I don't know about you, but becoming stronger than what we are seems impossible." Gatomon looked down with shame.

"I do," Gennai said and took out some weird device. Now that you're all together, it's time to work together." Gennai turned on the device and it released a hologram. It showed six different symbols.

"Those are…" Dorumon was cut off.

"Yes," Gennai nodded. "These are the symbols of the stones you must find. The stones that will power your Digimon. They could become Ultimate," Gennai explained and most of the Digidestined were confused.

"Ultimate?" Josh never heard of the concept as well.

"It's the next level for your Digimon to become a stronger being. You have become a friend with your Digimon and formed a bond. A bond that turned your Digimon into Champion. Now it's time to take the step further. The enemies you will face should not be underestimated. You must become Ultimate in order to defeat the Dark Digidestined."

Josh's mind went fully angry. He looked down and breathed out heavily. "These Dark Digidestined… they are the reason why all this is happening. What ever it takes, I will beat everyone of them." Josh put clenched his fist. "Where do we find these stones?" Josh asked.

"I'm going to take you into a island. There you must find the symbols around the island. Once you do, you will soon become Ultimate and defeat the threat." Gennai informed. He put his hand down and magic started to surround the five Digidestined.

"You will go to a island first and from there you must find what you're looking for. Please be safe," Gennai looked down. "I'm sorry that you all can't really talk, but things must move quickly now."

"Why won't you come?" Gwen asked and Gennai shook his head.

"I can't, I can't fight these forces just yet." Gennai turned back.

"Wait!" Josh tried to exit. "What about Dora?" He asked and Gennai turned around slowly.

"I will care for her, just go." Gennai said and the light shined brighter. "I will see you the next time you need me and the next time I need you. We are running out of time…" Gennai said.

Josh closed his eyes and then felt a wet moist air feeling. He blinked and opened his eyes. He saw he was in some kind of tropical rain forest.

"Where are we?" Josh looked around and saw everyone was around him. "Forest?" Josh blinked and spotted something. "Water…" Josh licked his lips. He only had juice and was fighting in the hot air.

"I am kinda thirsty," Sandy said while Josh stepped closer to the water. "Hey?" Sandy saw Josh run for the water.

"I have been thirsty!" Josh cheered and put his hand on the water pond connected to a lake. He started to drink as it felt fresh.

"I do feel a bit thirsty myself," Gwen giggled and stepped forward. She kneel down next to Josh and got ready to drink water.

"Stop!" Someone screamed, Josh gulped down the water and looked to the side. He spotted a Gomamon. Josh blinked and looked back at Sandy's Gomamon, Twix. Then at the new Gomamon.

"Hey," he said and Gomamon pushed him back along with Gwen.

"Hey!" Chip and Gatomon both came forward from Josh.

"I'm terribly sorry, but this water cannot be drinked," Gomamon tried to explain. Josh and everyone could tell this one was female by her voice.

"Why not?" Sandy asked and Gomamon looked down sad.

"It's been a shortage of water around here. Well water that is helpful for the Digimon living in the lake. It's just we don't want to waste it." Gomamon gave a sad look that could not be ignored.

"What's been happening?" Josh asked and the female Gomamon shrugged.

"I wish I knew-" she stopped and spotted Twix for the first time. "You're a Gomamon like me!" She walked up and Twix nodded nervously. He was a bit embarrassed that a female Gomamon was so close to his face.

"You can come with me!" She cheered and Twix was confused. "You see, my master doesn't allow random Digimon to come in. Only those of the same species. He may tell you what is happening so you can help."

"I can… help," Twix was too nervous to even respond.

"We don't have time for that," Sandy said and the female Gomamon was shocked. Her face showed utter sadness and shock. "Look here other Twix, I know you want our help. But we actually have things to do. We don't have time for your shit."

"Please!" Female Gomamon screamed and bowed formally. "I know it seems significant, but my leader won't tell me a thing and I don't want no one lose their homes. Please help me." Gomamon had small tears in her eyes.

"Sandy…" Josh said and Sandy glared at him. Josh glanced away and Sandy glared at Twix who couldn't stop staring at her.

Sandy closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Fine," she said and everyone smiled.

"That's really nice… um…" Lanny was confused about her name.

"It's Sandy, remember it," Sandy kneel down and stared at the female Gomamon. "You take Twix and talk to this master of yours and find out about this water shortage." Sandy grabbed Twix sharply in the head. "Find out how we can help so we can get a move on!" Sandy glared.

"So aggressive," Phoenix said while stepping back a bit.

"Thank you so much," The Female Gomamon bowed and looked at Twix. "Ready to follow me," she wiped her happy tears while Twix nodded. "Let's go, into the water," Gomamon jumped and dove into the water.

"I'll be back," Twix smiled and jumped into the water also. Sandy sat down looking at the water ripple around.

"Sandy look, I know we were supposed to…" Josh then felt a pat on his shoulder.

"Look, I'm doing this for Twix. I owe him, now come on. Let's drink up," Sandy evily grinned.

"I think I'm going to be mix feelings about her," Lanny chuckled while joining Josh and Sandy with drinking some of the water.

Gomamon splashed down into the water. Twix joined right after. He looked down and saw a hole in the middle of the pond. Gomamon went down it and Twix joined.

They both swam through the entire hole until getting back up into land. They were in an underground room where it lead even deeper down the ground.

"Woah this place is big," Twix complimented and Gomamon started to go down. "Mind me asking… what is it we are doing down here again?" Twix asked.

"Didn't I tell you?" Gomamon asked while stepping down the stairs. "The leader, the leader of this place knows why the water is disappearing, but refuses to tell me." Gomamon then looked up and Twix was amazed.

It was a water wall filled with clear water. "The water I want to preserve is very important. It's water that is drinkable and gives the same effect as food. Without it, not many water Digimon will survive."

"That's bad isn't it?" Twix chuckled. He suddenly saw a Digimon come out of the water wall.

"Gomamon!" The Digimon said and Twix stepped back by the tone of voice.

"Neptunemon," Gomamon said at the large guardian of the water. "I need to know what is happening to the water." She bowed.

"You must not get involved, only to migrate. This force cannot be reckoned with," Neptunemon preached and Gomamon looked down sadly.

Twix blinked and stepped forward. "Hello Neptunemon… sir thing… sir!" Twix shook his head. "I am Gomamon from the Digidestined. I am here to help," Twix introduced. "Please… sir, leader thing, let me and my friend defeat this foe or whatever."

"A Digidestined?" Neptunemon asked and with the water under him. He floated forward, "can I trust you that you are a Digidestined's Digimon?" Neptunemon asked and Twix nodded quickly.

"I will trust you," Neptunemon turned around and floated the other way. "I probably have something you wish to possess," Neptunemon reached and took out a stone.

"That's the stone my friends are looking for!" Twix shot and Neptunemon placed it back.

"Yes it is," Neptunemon looked down. "Since the water shortage, we have been struggling. I cannot exit since I need to support the Digimon in the lakes and ponds." Neptunemon turned around and pointed his trident at Twix.

"I am telling you this, I will give you the stone when and if you're able to defeat the Digimon drinking all the water," Neptunemon said and that brought shock to Gomamon.

"Drinking?" Gomamon asked.

"Yes, all the water, the water will disappear if all this keeps going on. The Digimon's name is Orochimon." Neptunemon looked down. "If I could, I would have faced him, but it was too late." Neptunemon closed his eyes and clenched his trident.

"I will give you the stone you wish to have, but all you have to do is go with your Digidestined and defeat Orochimon before it's too late."

Twix paused and looked up. "Right!"
