Hey everyone! I know I have not updated this book in a while. Life has been very busy for me, but I have decided to continue with the story. Most of it is not edited and probably will not be edited until I finish the books. Yes, books. I decided to stop, at a break point, after the last chapter. A couple of weeks ago I got to thinking about just starting a new book altogether than just continuing this story in this one book. This book has been completed, for it is the first part. The second book ,which I hope to commence and start publishing in August, will be either the sequel or the second book in a trilogy.
The second book which will come out in less than a month will be called The Incipient. It will continue to follow the story line of events in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Thank you to all my readers and reviewers. Thanks for sticking with me through my mistakes and helping me create this story better.
I would like to hit on a major subject that means a lot to me. Many of you who read lotr fanfiction off this site are fans who know pretty much everything there is to Middle Earth and all of the stories and facts that Tolkien has so vividly and greatly created for us. I am a huge fan of Tolkien and love lotr. I, unfortunately, know less than I would like to know. I am not as knowledgeable as some people. My story is riddled with mistakes I know, but I am writing this because I love Tolkien's work. Even though, I may mess some things up, please try to keep in mind that I am not Toklien and this is an au fanfiction. I try my hardest by researching, a lot trust me, but some things may be intentional because of the au thing, but I may also be oblivious to some facts. I greatly admire all of you who seem to know pretty much everything there is to know. I envy you. I also am grateful for the reviews that help me and correct me. I'm sorry if I mess up. It's bound to happen(:
PS I know my spelling on names isn't that great. Part of it is me and part of it is my computer that lacks a Tolkien dictionary. I promise I'm going to clear up the mistakes in the first book, and I will be extra careful in the second.
That was pretty much rambling, but my point is: I really appreciate the reviews that actually point out what I've did wrong in order to help me, but please don't be rude. I'm in college, so I haven't had the time to appreciate and look over Tolkien's work as some of you had. Please don't hate me for occasionally getting something wrong! I wouldn't be here if I didn't love Tolkien. Also keep in mind this is AU and I might twist some things into the story that are my own. That is why it is fanfiction.
Thanks so much again! I'm excited to start writing The Incipient.
