Author's Notes: Not sure what you'll think of this one. It's written differently from the others, but once I had the idea in my head, it wouldn't leave. Some of you may not get this chapter, but given the popularity of...you know what? Read and you'll see.

Ryuuji draped a blanket over Inko-chan's cage, nearing the end of his final rituals for the evening. He looked around the Takasu household, everything was, as it was always at this time, spotless, even the mold had retreated back to the underworld for the night. He turned to the other being in the building who was still in the waking world.
He smiled. Looked like she was staying over, as usual. With a soft chuckle he recalled that she hadn't even stepped into her apartment since yesterday morning, and probably wouldn't tomorrow either.
A fresh change of clothes had come through the laundry.
"Come on..." Taiga's attention was focused on what she held in her hands, an old voice she wouldn't give up in portable form. "Come on, faint!" She began franticly thrashing buttons. "Come on, come, come on-YEAH!"
Taiga broke into a grin, which quickly turned savage. "Nobody messes with my Delphox, nobody."
If Ryuuji heard the phrase "my Delphox" one more time he was really going to start worrying for Taiga's mental state. Her sinister laugh wasn't helping things either. Ryuuji turned his eyes to a closed door, beyond which Yasuko was already sound asleep. He smiled, it was still strange, yet quite welcomed, that Yasuko no longer had to work nights. Reuniting with her parents had done more than emotional good, after much poking and prodding, he had gotten Yasuko into a new job, and overall delivered a better life to his daughter and grandson. (both of which he and his wife made it a point to visit, often. Ryuuji expected them to turn up suddenly in the next few days) Ryuuji had a feeling said Grandfather wanted to ask why they were still living in what was, to put it politely; below their means. The simple answer was neither of them wanted to move, for some reason or another.
Ryuuji knew what his was. "You should turn that off now, it's really late." Taiga was rocking back and forth, just slightly. "You're barely staying awake."
She didn't even look at him. "Shut up." One of her hands stretched out, feeling around for a bowl which hadn't been at the table for some time. "Huh? Where-"
"You ate 'em all." All he got a disbelieving gaze. "An hour ago."
She slowly blinked. "Oh..." She looked back at the attention sucker, tapping buttons once again. Ryuuji sighed.
"Geez." His hand shot down, snatching the console right out of Taiga's sluggish hands. Ryuuji looked briefly at the dual-screened device before closing it. "You're playing too much. At this rate you won't be able to tell what's real anymore."
Their eyes met, and Taiga's flared into life, the world around seeming to fate as she focused on one thing, and one thing alone.
Ryuuji wanted to fight!
Taiga ran though her options: She could throw something at him, but she didn't have any items on hand. Yausko was asleep, so no backup from her, and Inko-chan would never obey her, even if he'd been awake. There was no way she was running from this. She was gonna fight!
Taiga used Glare. Ryuuji froze, making Taiga smile. "Now give it me, and nobody gets hurt."
Ryuuji stood his ground, meeting her glare with his own stern gaze. "No."
Taiga's eyebrow twitched. So he was getting brave now was he? Well she couldn't have-she suppressed a yawn. No, no! There was no way he was right! She wasn't tired! She-she just didn't feel like hitting him! She formed an idea, he'd never see this coming.
Taiga used Charm. She fluttered her eyelids, smiling as she gave him the cutest look she could possibly muster. It'd have worked for Ami, it'd work for her! Plus she was his girlfriend after all. "Please, Ryuuji?"
It wasn't very effective..."No."
"Dammit!" She rose to her feet, then unto the table, setting herself up to-"ORYAAA!" Taiga used Take Down. Ryuuji quickly found himself on the ground, the furious Tiger reaching out her claw. "Give it to me! Give it, give it!" Taiga used Thief.
The attack missed. Ryuuji dropped the item, letting it slide across the floor, well out of Taiga's reach. She Growled, preparing to leap off before-Ryuuji used Bind. "Dammit, let me go!" Ryuuji held Taiga against himself her attempts to Thrash her way out sabotaged by how right Ryuuji was. She was too tired, but dammit she wanted to play! She struggled harder, and harder. She turned a glare on Ryuuji, who met her with unwavering resolve, his determination determined to keep her held mirrored in his handsome features.
She stopped, feeling her cheeks starting to heat up. She delicately traced his every feature with her eyes, and when she finally met his eyes, realized he had been doing the same. They blushed. Both used Attract, though that had happened a very long time ago. They smiled...and both were still in love. Taiga used Nuzzle, she lightly grazed her nose against Ryuuji's, his arms slacking as he grazed back. Taiga used Sweet Kiss. She gently placed her lips on Ryuuji's, forgetting everything else. Ryuuji used Lovely Kiss, passionately meeting Taiga's affections. Their battle continued, though at this point it would have taken a strange imagination to define it as such.
They parted, still smiling. Taiga Yawned. She placed her head on his chest, her eyes fluttering slowly. Ryuuji stroked her hair gently, taking in her Sweet Scent. He felt her body relax more and more, her breathing become more rhythmic, so much in fact that-"Taiga?" He shifted his head, trying to get a good look at Taiga's face. He suddenly smiled.
Taiga fell asleep.

Author's Notes: Should have probably used a PSP instead of a 3DS (it's not like Nintendo's ever played host console to a Toradora game), but I stuck with what I know, and a franchise I'm going to abandon writing for one of these days...
If you didn't get what the hell I was referencing/parodying with this chapter, say so. Seriously, I'm really curious how many people there are out there who are not at least somewhat familiar with it. At least among my fanbase.
