The Sun rose of the edge of the Isle of Rona. Night turned into day as the sky turned from black into blue. Dante Yalarad woke up to a most annoying headache. A pile of smoldering embers, and an empty Firewhiskey bottle. That was all that remained of last night's festivities. He looked up to see the strict glare of his Uncle, Silas Yalarad.

Dante groaned and sat up slowly, "So…I'm guessing Grandmum told you what I did."

"You're damn right she told me. What the hell were you thinking, Dante?" The Lord of Applewood Manor crossed his arms.

"What? It was a small party!" Dante scoffed, "Severus said he was gonna try out to be a Seeker on Slytherin. I thought that deserved a little celebration."

"So your idea of a celebration is getting minors drunk on Firewhiskey?!" Silas extended his hand to help his nephew up.

"It's a lot better than your boring shindigs you throw. That is for damn sure." Dante scowled at his Uncle's hand, got up himself, and dusted off his clothes. "And hey, Hogwarts teaches those kids a whole slew of dangerous things. I think they're responsible enough to drink some booze."

"You don't get to decide that Dante," Silas said gruffly.

Dante looked at his Uncle. "What do I get to decide then? What do I get to do?"

Silas' gaze softened at his nephew. "Dante you can do anything, and that includes getting minors drunk if that's what you wish, but I believe you can do better. I can get you into the next group of recruits at The Auror Academy..."

"Oh what? Be a big bad Auror just like you? Sorry, but that is not in my list of things to do. Pass."

"Then what? Keep burning through your father's inheritance as you've been doing for the past couple of years?"

"Maybe I will, fuck you." Dante swore at his Uncle. "After all he and my mother left everything of theirs to me!" Silas shut down rather quickly at the mention of Carmen. Dante looked at him, almost tauntingly so. "Why won't you tell me what happened that day? What are you hiding?"

Before things could escalate further Marie came out to them. "Daddy, Dante. Grandmum has called you both for breakfast. She's making omelets for everyone…is everything all right?"

Dante broke off his stare and smiled, "Yeah everything's fine sweetheart. I could use some breakfast right about now. How 'bout you Uncle Si?"

Silas sighed, "That sounds nice." He knew that Dante wouldn't bring the subject of his mother's death in front of his cousins. There was still a fierce animosity in Dante's soul over the mystery of his Mother's death. Silas watched his daughter and nephew walk towards the manor. His mind replayed the events of the night in question…and then he pushed them to the back of his mind.

Gabriel walked on through the entry gates of Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He looked at the castle in a nostalgic view. He had not been there in nearly twenty years, the last time he had viewed the School was when he graduated. That day would had have been one of the best day of his life had not for the fact that his family had not been there to see him walk.

He was alone at graduation save for his best friends, Silas and Eileen. As well as their close knit group of misfits. The party they had that night, Merlin! It was that night that Silas asked Eileen to be his and his alone, and obviously she said yes. Gabriel was indeed happy for his friends, and he himself was happy for a time. Until of course when he returned home.

It was when Gabriel returned home that things went south. His father told him of his plans for Gabriel to marry a girl from a lower Pureblood house from the East. Gabriel rejected his Father's demands; saying that he wanted to meet the right woman and be happy. However his Father had different plans, and they did not include his son's happiness. Their heated argument came to a breaking point when Udo Schell gave his son an ultimatum. Stay, obey, and be morose or leave, be free, and be happy. Gabriel packed all his belongings, and never looked back since.

Years later his Mother sent him a letter and with it came a Portkey. It read that his father had cooled down with time. It also read when Gabriel was ready he should come home with a bride along with him preferably. That Portkey was still sitting in a cupboard at home never to be used at all.

Gabriel shook those memories out of his head as he came up to the grand wooden doors that led inside the hallowed halls of Hogwarts. Before he could open the doors himself the doors swung open to reveal the gameskeeper. A Ten foot tall half giant known as Hagrid. "Mess'r Schell it's good to see you again!"

Gabriel gave a genuine smile, "Hello Hagrid. How have you been?"

"Oh I've been doin' alright," The half-Giant smiled as he walked out from inside the castle. "Except I'm having a damned time keeping rabbits out of my garden. Those menaces keep eating all of my radishes!"

Gabriel thought aloud, "Maybe you should get a dog or something. A hunting dog, perhaps." Gabriel reached into his pocket, took out a business card, and handed it to Hagrid. "My friend Titus Hobday raises a selection of hounds at his farm just outside the town of Arundel in West Sussex. Send him an owl and maybe he could set you up with one." He walked inside before stopping short. "Oh Hagrid, if you do take my advice, can you do me a favor?"

"Sure I can, what is it?" Hagrid asked him.

Gabriel smiled, "If you do decide to purchase a hound from Titus, tell him I sent you, and that we are now even." Hagrid nodded and went back to his hut on the outskirts of the estate. Gabriel proceeded to walk into the castle and up the Grand Staircase to the meeting room where the professors met. There they would go over their lesson plans for the new school year.

As he approached the room he heard a voice call out to him. "Professor? Professor Schell, excuse me?"

Gabriel turned around to see himself face to face with Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall. The same person whom interviewed him for the position, "Deputy Headmistress, hello!"

"Oh please, call me Minerva. After all we are now coworkers and fellow professors," She said with a quaint smile.

"Very well Minerva. Are we a bit early for the assembly?" Gabriel asked as he pulled out a cigarette out and just as he was about to light it Minerva took out of his mouth and vanished it away.

"Indeed we are Professor, and there is no smoking while I'm around," Minerva replied with a curt nod.

"Is that a written rule or…"

"It's one of my rules, Professor. Anyway, would you like to see your classroom before the meeting begins?"

Gabriel nodded, "I would love that, thank you."

Minerva escorted Gabriel to his classroom where he would be teaching his future students. They walked into the classroom which at that point was a tad bit dusty and unkempt.

Gabriel walked inside his future classroom. His hand glided over the desks where his students would sit accumulating dust on his palm. He then came over to his desk where he would watch over his students and sat down. Gabriel leaned back and forth in the rickety chair, "Old, rickety, and squeaks like all hell. I like it."

McGonagall dusted off the top of a desk and sat atop it. "Well I'm glad you like your accommodations. The school has had its furniture for nearly a century, and for one I would like to update our current furnishings."

"So, why don't you if you don't mind me asking."

Minerva sighed as she took off her hat and pinched the bridge of her nose. "It just isn't in our budget. It seems with every passing year our budget somehow gets smaller and smaller. I'm surprised we even have enough to cover costs for food, potion ingredients, and other miscellaneous things as well."

"Have you asked for contributions from of the families of the students who come here?"

"We always send out letters for contributions to their families as well as former alma mater, but it is never enough." She groaned in frustration.

"Who's in control of your finances?"

"That would be the Board of Governors. They meet with Dumbledore before the beginning of each school year. It's there that they meet to discuss and agree on a set budget for all the costs for the year," Minerva explained. "So, do tell me your plans for your classes, I'm quite interested to know."

Gabriel got up and browsed the classroom as he told Minerva about his syllabus for his students. "I have several syllabuses for each grade level, and a plan to accommodate students on difficulties that they may encounter."

Minerva seemed impressed with Gabriel's level of foresight. "Tell me about your Syllabus for say…your 6th year students."

"The first two weeks, I intend to see what my students know and have retained from their last five years in Hogwarts. Then after that, we will go onto the study of curses from weeks three to nine. Followed by a study of anatomy from weeks 10 to 15."

"Anatomy? Oh my, that's rather progressive," The deputy headmistress mentioned.

"I'm actually hoping to take them on a field trip to the morgue after we all get back from Winter Break. Followed by an intensive study of Spellcraft from weeks Seventeen to Twenty-Six. Afterwards, there will be a summary study of Dangerous Magical Creatures from week Twenty-Seven to Thirty-Four. Followed by another field trip in conjunction with that subject. Finally the weeks leading up to the N.E.W.T.'s will be a review for the studies we have gone over." He pulled out a piece of parchment with the lesson plans written out and showed them to her.

Minerva put on her bifocals and read them over. "I hope you have a way to afford such expenses if Albus does not approve of your little excursions then you might have to give them up."

"I have a few tricks up my sleeves, don't worry about me Minerva. Should we get back to the meeting room, the others might be there already."

"Right you are, we must be away." Minerva and Gabriel swiftly made their way back to the room where several other professors had begun to arrive. Filius Flitwick the half-goblin seated himself at the table alongside with Pomona Sprout. Aurora Sinestra walked in along with Silvanus Kettleburn, Septima Vector, and Rolanda Hooch. As Gabriel and Minerva took their seats, a few more teachers came in. Professor Binns phased through a wall as his spectral figure took a seat beside an empty chair. The empty chair reserved for one, Horace Slughorn.

They did not have to wait long before their esteemed headmaster entered the room. "Good morning everyone," Albus Dumbledore greeted his colleagues. "I hope you have all had a most pleasant summer vacation, but alas it is time to work again."

He sat down at the head of the table and smiled. "As we might have seen we are joined by a few new faces this year. For Muggle Studdies we have joining us, Stephen Bright." Dumbledore pointed out a smallish blond haired man who looked excited to be there.

"Aesop Roq for Divination," Dumbledore pointed out a large, grizzly man with hair as brown as chocolate. Wild and untamed with bones and charms entwined in his hair.

Gabriel turned slightly away from Dumbledore hoping that he would not point him out, "And last but not least. Our new professor for Defense Against the Dark Arts, a former graduate of Hogwarts, Gabriel Schell!" Gabriel gave a polite smile as he waved to his new colleagues.

Just then a large balding man with an addled look about him came in through the door at a relaxed pace stifling back a yawn. "Oh good, I haven't missed the meeting. I slept through my alarm which...I had forgotten to set." Horace Slughorn then sat down in his seat next to Professor Binns.

Gabriel was a bit shocked to see that a professor, let alone The Potions Professor being late to an important meeting such as this. "Excuse me, but you're late. Aren't you at least going to apologize for your tardiness?"

Slughorn looked taken aback at what this new professor had said, "Well…my dear boy it was just a slight tardiness…"

"Still, you mosey on in here like you own the damn place, and sit there like you're the king of the castle. I mean are you also late to your own classes?"

Horace looked over toward Albus who then gave Gabriel a chided look, "It was merely a slight inconvenience Professor Schell. Horace shall do better in the future to appear promptly on time. Won't you Horace?"

"Indeed Albus I shall." Slughorn turned to his fellow professors, "I apologize for my tardiness, everyone."

The other professors accepted his apology but Gabriel noticed that Sprout, McGonagall, and Flitwick rolled their eyes at his forced, and empty apology.

"Now then, shall we commence with the sharing of our lesson plans and syllabuses?" Minerva asked everyone.

One by one, each professor shared their own lesson plans for each of their classes of that school year. Flitwick wanted to bring in a few select students on a Special Advanced coursework for Charms. Sprout had been told that her plants had been delivered and were ready and waiting for her in the greenhouse. Albus had told Minerva that he had reserved a guest speaker on Animagus for her N.E.W.T level classes.

After a while, it was time for Gabriel to share his lesson plans and he did so thusly. His lesson plans were a bit unusual compared to traditional way that classes normally go at Hogwarts.

"I'm sorry, Professor. But are you suggesting that students are not organized by houses, but instead by varying degrees of their ability to comprehend the subjects of which that they are studying?"

Gabriel cleared his throat before addressing the headmaster, "Yes. This whole way of ordering classes by House is very redundant. I myself have gone through the motions of being in classes like this. Where Gryffindors and Slytherins have to keep their eye on each other to make sure the other doesn't sabotage their potions. Hufflepuffs too afraid to ask their Ravenclaw friends for help because they do not want to be portrayed as idiots."

He stood up to further address his fellow colleagues. "If we were to implement this new class method; students who struggle in class will be able to get the help they need in order to succeed. Thusly it will look more favorably upon the School that we take care of our students in accordance in the matters of their education."

Chatter emerged from all of the professors about this idea, Dumbledore did not seem like he was against the idea, but it looked like he needed another push.

"I can see that you are a tad bit adamant about this change I am proposing, but let me just say this. I've done my research and it seems as if with every new group of students that comes in, it gets relatively smaller with each passing year. We are losing a number of possible students each year to rivals such as Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, and Ilvermorny. We are losing them because we are not conforming to the wills of our students, and it is hurting us in the long run. We have to cater to their needs, and not the other way around."

Dumbledore nodded his head at that statement as unpleasant as that was to hear. Gabriel Schell made a very good point. "I understand your concerns Professor. However, I feel that if we were to change everything with the students in other years it might confuse them. Wouldn't it?"

"A little confusion is worth cementing Hogwart's status as a flagship institute of schooling for wizards and witches for generations to come."

Dumbledore looked over at his deputy headmistress who gave him a curt nod and then turned to Gabriel. "Professor Schell, although you have only entered into your new role here at Hogwarts just recently. It seems as if you have come well prepared with ideas and notions to make this institution a better place. Rest assured we will take your ideas under consideration."

"Indeed we shall Minerva, now then was there anything else my boy?" Dumbledore asked of Gabriel.

"Yes there is sir. Do you recall my mention of the houses not getting along with each other?"

"I do Professor, but what of it?" Dumbledore sounded a bit annoyed at this point.

"In order to foster inter-house cooperation it is my opinion that we need to let students sit with other students during meals. We should open the common room areas of each house to welcome visitors from other houses. As well as inviting the parents of our students to visit."

Minerva was intrigued at this new idea of Gabriel's. "Why should we allow parents to visit the school Professor?"

"So we can show them that their child is thriving in a safe environment that nurtures and sculpts their raw innate talent. In addition, it'd be a nice way to try and see if we can't do a fundraiser of some kind while they're there. Perhaps a Silent Auction of some kind?"

Dumbledore was at this time a bit flustered at what his new hire was proposing. There would be no way in hell that the Board of Directors would change or alter what had been mostly tradition for the past hundred and some odd years. "Thank you Professor for your ideas, but now I believe we should move onto our next Professor."

Gabriel nodded, and sat down at his chair. "But…I can keep the field trips, right?"

"Hmmm?" Dumbledore asked. "Oh yes fine. That can be done just make the necessary arrangements my boy."

Gabriel smirked as he sat down. He thought he would have had to fight harder for these changes to go through.

With the remaining Professors giving out their lesson plans and syllabuses Dumbledore ended the meeting. However, he had Gabriel stay behind with him and Minerva. Gabriel waited in his seat as the other professors left the room. Minerva closed the door leaving the three of them alone.

Dumbledore turned to look at Gabriel, "You know there have been a number of professors that take your position year in, and year out. I must say that you are the most progressive, and forward thinking of them."

"Thank you Professor Dumbledore," Gabriel smiled. "But I don't think that's the real reason you asked me to stay behind. I think this has to do with the 'Real' reason as to why you've hired me."

Dumbledore looked at Gabriel, "Very perceptive of you Mr. Schell." Dumbledore sat down as McGonagall looked at the Headmaster a bit confused.

"Albus, might I ask what he is talking about?"

The Headmaster let his age show as he sighed. "Minerva I wanted to keep this a secret for as long as I could, but it's time you knew." He turned to his deputy headmistress. "Hogwarts is being embezzled."

Minerva gasped, and Gabriel straightened in his seat. "Embezzlement? Are you sure, Headmaster?"

"I am quite sure." He summoned some documents that were financial records for the past ten years.

Gabriel put his reading glasses on and looked them over. He looked for inconsistencies in the documents. "Well, Headmaster. I do believe you are right. There seems to be a lot of Galleons missing throughout these school years. By my count there must be nearly Fifty Thousand Galleons missing." Gabriel put his glasses away and looked at Albus, "And you want me to investigate this? Why not inform the Aurors?"

"I've tried that, once word got out of an investigation impending. The money suddenly just reappeared out of thin air."

Gabriel leaned back in his chair. "Is this the real reason you hired me? To find an embezzler and not be an educator to your students?"

"Oh no, no. Forgive me. I just simply would like you to keep your eyes and ears open whilst you are performing your duties here."

Gabriel nodded, "Tell me. Have you any suspects?"

"A few names come to mind, but Abraxas Malfoy stands atop of that list."

Gabriel looked at Dumbledore, "Abraxas Malfoy? Why the hell would he be on that list?"

"He's on the Board of Governors for the School."

Gabriel held back a growl of distaste as he stood up. "Look I hate to be that guy, but it's quite obvious to see who the one embezzling you is. Am I right?"

Dumbledore shook his head, "Yes, but I wish to remain as impartial as I could…even if he is a dark, twisted Slytherin."

"Yes, and I…wait. What? Slytherin? That has nothing to do with this. He's a criminal. To which house he belongs does not matter."

Dumbledore sighed, "Gabriel, you might not want to admit it, but the children who end up in Slytherin are…well. Simply put they are a lost cause."

Gabriel looked up at Dumbledore and got up. "No child is worth condemning such as you've said. Let their actions speak for their character, not their house affiliation. I have several friends who were in Slytherin, and none of them have succumbed to the dark."

Minerva seeing Dumbledore's eyes harden stepped in to lighten the tension in the room. "Other than the embezzlement I do believe that is all that is all that needed to be said."

Gabriel nodded and began to make his way out before Dumbledore stopped him. "Just a moment Professor Schell. Before you leave there is something of the upmost importance that I speak to you about."

He sighed already tired with Dumbledore's attitude. "Yes Headmaster, what is it?"

"I have a few select students under my direct tutelage. At times, their boyish pranks may put them under a more brutish light. I want you to watch over them, and make sure that no harm should come to them."

Gabriel scoffed and rolled his eyes as to what Dumbledore had suggested. "I thought our goal as educators was to educate our students and teach them. Not spending most of our time breaking up fights and hammering the facts about co-inhabitance with their fellow students."

"Fights? Who said anything about fights? I just want you to…"

Gabriel interrupted Dumbledore. "Would these 'select students' happen to be a few troublemakers known as 'The Marauders?'"

Dumbledore chuckled quietly, "Oh yes that would be them. A group of students and not troublemakers as you label them. They certainly aren't like Ian Mulciber Jr. or Damien Avery, or Severus Snape."

Gabriel's gaze turned quickly into a glare. "Firstly, Severus Snape happens to be a good kid. I will gladly vouch for him. Secondly, any type of people who openly call themselves 'Marauders' do not bring feelings of friendship, goodwill, and camaraderie. They bring ill will, grudges, and malice."

"If you vouch for that snakeling then I might have made a mistake in hiring you," Dumbledore's soft blue eyes turned hard as sapphires as they looked at Gabriel.

Gabriel stepped forward and was a few inches away from his Headmaster's face. "That 'snakeling' you call him, his girlfriend, and my Godson all fought against one of the most dangerous dark wizards of our time, and won. What more must he prove of himself? Should he bring you the head of 'your' greatest mistake?"

Minerva felt the tension of the room rising and quickly sought to ease it. "It is getting close to our meeting with the board of directors, Albus. Filius is waiting for us, and we must leave now if we are to make it."

Albus looked over at Minerva and put on a façade of jovialness. "But of course, Minerva." He turned to Gabriel. "I hope that our differences won't have us butting horns in the future Professor."

Gabriel looked at Dumbledore, and nodded. "I hope so too. I will make myself useful for the time being, and I'll start organizing my classroom for the upcoming year." He walked over to the door and stopped.

"I'm sorry about your embezzlement problem, but there's not a lot I can do. I hope you catch this embezzler, whomever it may be." Gabriel walked out of the room leaving Albus Dumbledore seething.

Later that night Albus Dumbledore, Filius Flitwick, and Minerva McGonagall met with The Board of Governors. There were twelve governors, three for each house. For Gryffindor there was Charles Potter, Augusta Longbottom, and Sherwood Yalarad. For Slytherin there was Abraxas Malfoy, Julia Pierce, and Darius Prince. For Ravenclaw there was Isaiah Braider, Georgia Moff, and Eleanor De Taxis. Finally, for Hufflepuff there were Bartelby Hynx, Lawrence Diggory, and Amanda Doherty.

They all met in a room adjacent to Dumbledore's office. So far, there were only a few Governors missing. That being Darius Prince, Eleanor de Taxis, and Sherwood Yalarad.

Albus, Minerva and Filius had gone over a number of things listed in the packets handed out to the present governors.

The door opened, and Darius Prince along with Madame Eleanor de Taxis came in. "My apologies for our tardiness everyone. My shareholders meeting ran long," Darius explained to his fellow governors. He sat down at his seat between Abraxas Malfoy and Julia Pierce. Eleanor took her seat next to Isaiah Braider.

"It is rather surprising to see you tardy my old friend," Isaiah Braider said stoically. "Not as surprising however to see that Sherwood is not here with us."

"Last I heard he was conducting business somewhere in Indonesia," Darius thought aloud. "So, it would be surprising if he were to show."

The door opened to show not Sherwood Yalarad, but his representative on the Board of Governors, his wife Guinevere. "My apologies for being late. I am entertaining guests of my grandson this week, and one of them nearly blew a hole in our canoe. So, as you can tell it's very erratic."

That arose a chuckle from the members of the board. With all the members present, it was now time to vote on the matters before them. One by one, each matter presented, and a vote was took. Several votes cast until it came down to the matter of the budget.

"As for a matter of the budget," Isaiah Braider addressed Dumbledore. "Several members of the board, myself included. Believe that a budget of Nine-Hundred Thousand Galleons will suffice for the entire school year. Along with an added stipend of Four-Hundred and Fifty Thousand Galleons after the students come back from Christmas vacation to stimulate whatever remains after the first semester."

Dumbledore looked a bit pale. "Are you correct with your estimation? Last year you left us with a budget of one million, and one hundred thousand galleons. Along with an added stipend of five hundred and fifty thousand galleons. It seems as if the budget went down once more."

"Our estimations are quite correct, headmaster." Isaiah Braider droned. "This is what we feel is a proper amount of galleons for your budget for this year."

Augusta Longbottom looked at Isaiah, "Well I don't remember agreeing on this fact. Furthermore, the total amount this year was lower than years past. I think there should be a vote to amend this."

Isaiah sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Lady Longbottom has called for a vote, does anyone second the motion?"

Guinevere raised her hand, "I second the opinion, Isaiah."

"Noted, ladies and gentlemen a vote to reconsider the budget for this upcoming school year. Now, all those in favor of keeping the budget as is, please raise your right hand.

Bartleby Hynx, Lucius Malfoy, Charles Potter, Julia Pierce, and Isaiah raised their hands. However, they were shocked to see that Darius Prince did not vote in their favor. He would normally vote to keep the budget as it, and his secretary would always vote how he would.

"It's…four votes to keep the budget as is. Those in favor of changing the vote please raise your hand."

Augusta Longbottom, Georgia Moff, Lawrence Diggory, Amanda Doherty, and Guinevere Yalarad raised their hands. With Darius, and Eleanor raising their hands along with the others.

"It appears it is eight to four for increasing the budget," Guinevere stated. After the vote, everyone agreed that the budget for that year would increase by a sizeable thirty-seven percent.

"Well, if that is all. I do believe our business is over and done with," Albus smirked as he gathered the necessary documents.

Filius Flitwick looked at Albus, "Wait. What about Gabriel's suggestions?"

Albus groaned at the mention of that man, "Filius it is of no importance."

Guinevere looked at Flitwick, "Gabriel? Gabriel Schell? What suggestions would he have to give?"

"Yes, Gabriel is our new professor for Defense against the Dart Arts. He came up with an idea to bring more students into Hogwarts, but they are big changes that must take place."

Abraxas Malfoy leaned forward in his seat, "What kind of changes, professor?"

Flitwick told the board of the changes that were to come if Hogwarts was to remain afloat. Some were quite responsive to the idea, while others…

"You expect my son to collaborate with black-heartened, dark wizards in training?" Charles Potter roared in defiance.

Albus intervened. "Nobody is saying that at all Charles. It is simply an unwarranted change."

"Unwarranted?" Darius Prince addressed Albus. "I feel that this new change may be just what we need."

"I agree with Darius," Eleanor agreed with him. "The way things are going now it is projected that within two hundred and sixty-one years. Hogwarts will close its doors permanently. To avoid that a change such as this would be welcome."

"This notion is preposterous! I won't…" Charles Potter raged until Guinevere interrupted him.

"I call for a vote to implement these changes starting this year!" She declared.

"And I second that motion!" Augusta chimed in.

Flitwick moderated this vote, "Ladies and Gentlemen. All of those who would not have these changes implemented raise your hand.

Within seconds Charles Potter, Bartleby Hynx, and Isaiah Braider raised their hands. Now, Abraxas surprised everyone by not voting against this. Charles Potter and Isaiah Braider were understandably irate with his decision. It was a decision made by Abraxas in the interest of his son, Lucius. If the classes unified, and the houses opened to other students it could help Lucius to better aide his mission to recruit Sam Yalarad.

"Three votes against. All those in favor please raise your hand," Filius instructed.

All of the remaining board members raised their hands to rectify this vote. Albus was shocked at what had come about. Hogwarts would no longer the school divided. The houses would remain, but now with this historic change brought about. Hogwarts, and its students would enter a new era of unity and house cooperation.

A torrent of ice water drenched Severus in an unpleasant wake up. The water chilled him to his bones. He looked up at the perpetrator who did this to him and groaned. It was Macdonald Beth.
