A/N Okay, back sooner than last time! Shout outs for previous chapter's reviews will be at the bottom! Read on!

Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters mentioned in this story, except Annabelle, Karissa and Noah. I'll give SM's vampires and wolves back eventually.

*Previously*

"Sugar, come out. We didn't finish our discussion. Come on, Babe. I don't bite, unless you want me to." I didn't answer. He lifted his fist and was about to knock again, when a hand caught it halfway, and stopped him.

I gasped when I saw who it was. How in the world had she gotten here so fast? When did she even decide to show up? It was Kate! I listened as she yelled at him.

"You do not ever chase my cousin, you understand me? You have no right to touch her. Is that understood? You asshole, all you wanted was to get in her pants! Do you want me to get her boyfriend on your ass? Because trust me, he will give you shit for this. And I'm pretty sure you don't want to mess with him. All it takes is one phone call, and he'll be here in five minutes flat. You want that?!"

Robert threw his head back and laughed. "Oh, I'm so scared. Try me! I've been threatened like this billions of times by other girls. I beat their guys to a friggen' pulp! What makes you think some guy from Forks can take me on?"

Kate growled under her breath, and pulled out her phone. Mom ran out with Bella, Ness, Alice and Rose behind her. I jumped out the other side of the car, and stood behind Kate.

She was already on the phone.

"Hey, Carlisle." There was silence for a few seconds.

"Someone over here at the mall is trying to hit on Annabelle." More silence. I imagined Carlisle was firing questions at her. Possibly growling in anger.

"He also tried asking her to dinner. Yes, in front of the book store. We're in the parking lot right now." She handed the phone to me.

"Did he hurt you?" Carlisle asked before I could speak.

"No but-:

"I'll be right there." He hung up, and I handed it back to Kate.

"He's on his way." I said, smirking in Robert's direction, unable to contain myself.

Robert was still joking and laughing about it when I heard the screeching of tires as a car sped up beside us. Emmett was the first one out of the car.

Robert snorted, "You have a weight lifter as a boyfriend? Really? I'm pretty sure he's on steroids."

I didn't say anything. Carlisle appeared beside Emmett, looking angrier than I had ever seen him. He looked like he could have had smoke coming out of his ears and nose.

Edward Jasper and Jake stood behind them. Robert looked like he was sizing them up, trying to figure out who he was.

There was silence and then Robert opened his trap again. "So, is the muscle man over here your boyfriend, or not?"

"No." Emmett said glaring at him, before retreating to Rose's side. He looked at the other four.

His eyes landed on Jake.

"No, me neither." Jake said shaking his head and stepping back.

"It's me, and I suggest you back away right now." Carlisle said, stepping toward him. Robert still looked completely unafraid.

Robert said, "Oh… you? Really? So tell me, do you treat her right?" I as always, opened my trap at moments like these.

"Robert, is it really any of your business?"

He turned to me, is expression softening. "Sugar, why don't you be quiet, and let him answer for himself? Unless he's not man enough to do it, then go ahead and talk for him." That last one made my blood boil. I was about to say something, but Carlisle said,

"As a matter of fact, I can answer for myself, thank you. The question here is, why are you hitting on her? Much less, asking her to dinner after she clearly told you she has a boyfriend?!"

"Look, I really can't believe that you're her boyfriend. I mean, come on. Annabelle goes to Forks, and magically gets a boyfriend in under what, five or six weeks? Unbelievable! How do I know this ain't some sort of cover?"

"It's not." I said glaring at him. Nessie was looking pretty angry too.

"Whatever, man. Whatever." Emmett muttered.

Robert lifted one hand in he air and said, "Okay, we'll fight it out, right here, and now. If I win, I get her. If you win, you keep her. Sound good?"

"I don't need to fight. That is so immature." Carlisle said, laughing. "Why must you fight for everything? Can't you just get used to the fact that she's taken?"

Robert was about to protest, but Nessie did the unthinkable.

She walked forward, and opened her mouth, and… she threw up all over Robert's shoes.

A few hours later, we were home again. After Robert nearly cried over the barf on his shoes, and Nessie feeling horrible that she did so. She ended up buying him a new pair, and paying for it. He still tried hitting on me. For which Carlisle finally threatened to beat him up for. He finally left us alone, after getting chewed out by Carlisle again.

It was dark out, and Mom was firing up the grill for Phil, so he could grill some steaks. I was sitting cross legged on my bed, with the laptop on my lap scrolling through the pages Carlisle had left bookmarked for me. He, along with the rest of the guys were outside, playing football. Nessie came in and sat next to me. Her eyes flicked to the screen and she sighed.

"I never imagined it would happen like this Belle." She said running her hands through her hair—a trait she had gotten from Edward.

"Well, Ness. That's the circle of life, as they say. You have sex, and you end up—"

"No, not that. I know that's how it goes, but what I mean is, I kind of hoped I'd be married when this happened. You know? Dad would actually be happy for me. Mom wouldn't feel horrible for it. You guys wouldn't have to put up with all the criticism from the lovely people of Forks. I just feel so stupid!" she said, throwing her hands in the air.

"I mean, hell! We could have used protection… but it was just… it just… happened. And people say you don't get pregnant from just one time. Bullshit! I got pregnant. I bet Jake hates me now. I bet he wants to get rid of me. Right?" I closed the laptop, and set it aside. I took her hands in mine.

"Renesmee. Listen. Jacob doesn't hate you. I know these things. Jake really loves you. Don't you think that if he would have really wanted to get rid of you, he would have said something earlier?" Her eyes filled with tears.

"I don't know." She sniffled and wiped her hand across her face. "I mean, he probably will say something later. But not in front of Grandma. He's not that horrible. He'll probably tell me when we get back to Forks. Then what, Belle? Am I supposed to take care of our baby alone? I can't do that. He needs a Mom and a Dad. Not just me. I mean, why would it want a screw up of a Mom like me?"

"Renesmee Carlie Cullen. I squeezed her hands to get her attention. "You are not a screw up. It wasn't a mistake either. It happened, because it was meant to happen. And I'm pretty sure Bella and Edward understand that. I know your Dad is probably angry because he probably feels like he's done something wrong. I know for a fact that he's not mad at you."

Yeah! He's mad at Jake." Emmett said strolling into the room, without a shirt on and his hair full of grass clippings.

"Emmett, my dear. Do you ever shut up?" I said grinning at him.

"Nope, Ma. I get it from someone in this family. I have yet to figure out who though."

"Well, can you please go and figure that out? Nessie and I are talking."

Emmett laughed, but ran out of the room anyway, calling for Carlisle.

"Ignore what Emmett just said just now. And even if it is true, Jake and him will discuss it later tonight, or when we return to Forks. Right now though, I don't want you to worry about it, alright?" Nessie sighed.

"I guess. But it's so hard to ignore. I mean, come on, I have morning sickness. And my boobs hurt, and my waist is already expanding." I smiled, "Well, we'll do our best to fix that, won't we?"

She smiled a tentative smile and nodded.

"Belle?"

"Yeah?"

"I know you haven't ever been pregnant… but you understand it, right?"

I hugged her. "Of course."

"Then… I mean I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings or anything. But if I ever have any questions about anything or something… I really think I'd only be able to talk to you and Carlisle about it."

"It's all up to you, who you want to talk with. But you better promise me right now that if you have questions, you will ask. Promise?"

"Pinkie promise." She said, intertwining her pinkie with mine. We both laughed, and started looking through Carlisle's research together.

We were just looking at the baby's possible traits when Carlisle and Bella walked in. Bella sighed, and sat next to Renesmee.

"Carlisle and I talked about this. Your father was too stubborn to join in in the conversation. But honey, we've only thought of the best for you. You're going to have to be extra careful when you get back to school. For the remainder of your senior year, you will be under careful supervision."

Bella really wasn't making sense. Careful while being under supervision?

"Bells—" She cut me off before I could finish.

"Renesmee will be under your supervision, Annabelle. I trust that you'll make sure that she eats correctly, drinks water when needed, and gets to all her classes."

I nodded. Carlisle said,"Starting tomorrow, you'll start on your vitamins and—"

"What vitamins?" Nessie asked.

"Prenatal vitamins. They help your baby grow healthy as it develops." Carlisle explained. Nessie's face lit up with a big smile.

"Oh, thank you." She said.

Carlisle smiled and nodded. "We will have to probably cut our trip here short, though. In case something happens. Like sudden growth of the fetus, or something. You read the information, right Belle?" Bella asked me.

"Yeah. But Bella honestly, the chances of that happening is very slight. Right Carlisle?"

"Yes, but we don't want to take any chances either." Carlisle said.

"Do I have to go and give Edward a talk too? He seriously has to understand what's going on with Ness." I said getting up off the bed.

"Please. Neither I or Carlisle can talk some sense into him." Bella said sighing heavily.

"I'll see what I can do." I said walking out the door. I found Edward in his and Bella's room, flipping through a book. I sat next to him, hoping I had enough strength to talk to my brother-in-law.

"Edward, may I talk to you?" I asked, feeling a little cautious all of a sudden. He sighed, and threw the book down.

"What?"

"Edward. You have to understand that Nessie didn't want this. It was something that happened without knowing. You can't really be mad at her. She didn't know she would end up pregnant. And they didn't know they needed protection, either. You know that right?"

Edward nodded stiffly and I continued. "Right now, Renesmee feels like you hate her. She feels like she really screwed up this time. In your eyes, I'm pretty sure she did. But from my prospective, this was something unexpected. Bella and her have already talked, and she feels like she's the only parent that's forgiven her. Can you really be that mad at her that you won't even talk to her about this? Wouldn't you have at least talked to Carlisle about this, if it were you in this situation?" Edward looked a little guilty, and I knew I hit home with the last statement.

Because I knew that Edward would have talked to Carlisle about it, because Carlisle was his father. Well, for all intents and purposes, anyway.

Edward looked horrible. "I'm … just so angry. Did I do something wrong when she was growing up? Did I not raise her right? Did I forget to teach her something? Annabelle, I seriously feel like this is my fault. This is why I'm so angry. I'm not mad at her. But I just feel that if I talk to her now, I'll say things I'll regret later." He said, running his hands through his hair.

"Edward. I can honestly say that you did an amazing job raising Renesmee. She has grown up to be such a beautiful, intelligent young woman. I don't think you you forgot to teach her anything. Everything she knows now, is because she learned it from her amazing parents."

He began to protest but I stopped him. "Trust me, you did an amazing job. Now can you please go in there and talk to her before I get Carlisle in here to drag you in there?"

Edward reached over and hugged me tight as he said, "How do you always manage to make things all better? I swear, you're like some sort of pep talk doctor, or something. Every word that comes out of your mouth seems to cure everyone's problems. Thanks for the talk, Mom. I really needed that."

I laughed and hugged him back. "Oh, you of sweet words and reading minds. I don't know how I do it. Now go in there and talk to your daughter."

He laughed and released me from his grip and went to find his daughter. I followed him into my room.

Nessie launched herself into her Dad's arms the minute she saw him.

"I'm sorry, Daddy. I'm so… so sorry. I didn't know."

Edward soothed her and rubbed her back as she cried again. He was talking to her in a low voice I couldn't pick up, but I knew my sister and my boyfriend heard every word.

I was glad things were getting fixed up. I really wanted to enjoy my vacation as much as possible before going back to school, to stress over grades, and finals before graduation. Graduation! Already!

I knew that as soon as graduation came, Carlisle and I would come clean with our relationship, and become a public thing. I couldn't wait.

Dinner was a festive affair. Phil came home, happy and excited to see all of us. Especially the guys. They were all so excited about making plans for tomorrow's baseball game.

"Okay, Jake, Carlisle and me on one team. Jazz, Edward and Phil on the other." Emmett said already dividing them in to teams.

"Why do I have to be on Edward's team?" Jasper said, sounding a little whiny, but I knew it was all in fun.

"Aw, you gonna cry about it, Jazzy?" Emmett teased.

"Hell no. I know we'll win. Good luck tomorrow." Jasper said, smirking at his oldest rother. Phil laughed at their playful banter.

We went to bed at around eleven. The vampires were keeping up appearances, of course. Carlisle lay together, atop the covers and talked quietly until almost one in the morning.

"I heard what Edward told you earlier." Carlisle said smiling in the darkness.

"What?" I asked propping myself up on my elbow.

"He called you Mom. I'm surprised you didn't get that."

"Well, I was otherwise distracted with worries about his and Nessie's father daughter relationship." I said laughing.

"You are so selfless. Another thing I admire and love about you." Carlisle said taking me into his arms, and kissing me softly. I sighed and leaned my head against his shoulder.

"Thanks." I said smiling.

The dor opened and Emmett came in quietly. He flopped onto the bed.

"Hey, why wasn't I invited to this cuddle fest? Shouldn't parents tell their kids so that we can bring our blankets and pillows to join in on the fun?"

"Oh, come here, you big marshmallow." I said, throwing back the covers on my other side.

Emmett laughed softly and lay down on my other side.

"Remember when I was a baby, Mom?"

I shook my head.

"No. I'm sorry Emmett. You were the first born. After so many kids, you tend to forget."

"But I'm pretty sure you don't forget how you made them, riiiiiiiight?" he said holding the right out longer than necessary. I grabbed my pillow and whacked him with it while Carlisle said, "Emmett, this is not appropriate or up for discussion."

"Just for that, you take out the trash for the next four weeks, understood?" I said grinning at him.

"Why do I always have to do the dirty work?" he whined.

"Want to add the dishes to that too?" I asked.

"Fine, fine." Emmett grumbled. The door opened again, and the rest of the family—except for Nessie and Jacob came in.

Good thing my bed was pretty large. Because soon enough Carlisle and I were sandwiched between Jasper and Emmett. Edward managed to wedge himself between Emmett and I. Alice did the same on my other side, between Carlisle and I. Bella lay across our feet. Rose lay on Jasper's other side.

"Okay, now what?" I asked wriggling around to try to get closer to Carlisle.

"We tell scary stories. I'll start. Last night when you were sleeping, there was a vampire bat over—"

"Shut up." I said whacking Emmett with my pillow again.

Carlisle and Edward laughed. The girls were actually pretending to sleep. Jasper was muttering something about Emmett's malfunctions, which made me laugh even harder.

Alice rolled over Carlisle and landed on Jasper's chest with a thunk.

"Noone said we couldn't cuddle with our significant others." She said giggling.

I scooted closer to Carlisle and he rapped his arms around me. Emmett started making snoring noises in the dark. Edward kicked him.

"Shut up, Mom and Dad are trying to sleep, moron."

"Aw, the sounds of our family." I said laughing.

"I like it." Carlisle said.

"Me too. Good night, kids." I whispered.

"Good night, Mom. Good night Dad." They all said simultaneously. Carlisle and I laughed, and I fell asleep happy to have them all there with me.
