Okay, here we go, last chapter of Daybreak. I have some things to say at the end, and I'll do it in a separate chapter, but for now enjoy the last installment of these two crazy kids. It's a bit rushed, and I apologize deeply for that, but for reasons I will explain in a bit, I couldn't help it. Regardless, let me know what you're thinking in the reviews :) Read on, good people!

Chapter 26: Wedding Bells

It's today.

It's finally today.

I nearly launched myself out of bed when my alarm went off. I'd been awake for nearly an hour anyway, but I was forcing myself to wait until the alarm buzzed. It was agony, but I did it. I actually did it.

Oh crap, I did it.

I ran to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. My hair was a mess where I'd been tossing and turning in my very little sleep, and my make-up was smeared where I hadn't removed it last night. Wait, I was wearing make-up yesterday? It didn't matter.

I jumped into the shower and was out again in five minutes flat. I set to shaving my legs, making sure to get every last hair. The little girl inside me was purely giddy, but the grown up in me was scared at how much I'd changed from dreading this day to embracing it with open arms.

I grew up, go figure.

There was a sudden knock on my door as Leah entered carrying armloads of beauty products. She'd slept over last night, along with my mom, Emily, Angela, and Jayne, and was prepared to help me get ready. I grinned at her.

"Well what are we waiting for?" I asked, pulling her into the room. "Let's get started!"

Jayne decided she would help me with my dress, my mom and Angela with my hair, and Leah and Emily with my make-up. Jake was staying at Sam and Emily's, all of the rest of the Pack helping out over there. We both agreed to not see each other before the actual wedding.

It took almost two hours, but finally I was ready. My hair was loosely curled and flowing free so that it may ruffle in the breeze. It was a lot shorter than normal, barely grazing the tips of my shoulders, but it was perfect. Renee had fastened a small white flower just above my ear. I opted for simple make-up, with deep red lips and lightly dusted eye shadow. Emily insisted on eyeliner and mascara as well, and I didn't argue.

Finally my dress: It was ivory; simple, but very elegant. It was A-line with spaghetti straps holding up a sweetheart neckline. There was slight beading on the top, but nothing spectacular. It was light and it flowed, the skirt like air against my legs. It was perfect.

After double and triple checking the state of my dress, hair, and face, the girls finally allowed me to leave.

Jay, Leah, Emily, and Angela were my bridesmaids. I decided they should wear light orange sun dresses that fell just above their knees. All of them had their hair up in loose buns and carried a small array of tiger lilies. They were perfect too.

Of course the entire pack was Jake's groomsmen. Embry even offered to stand as a bridesmaid to even it out a bit, but I declined with a laugh. Someone had to walk with Jay.

We made our way down to an area behind the house. It was early fall, and the weather was still gorgeous although the leaves had started to turn. I'd always wanted a fall wedding. I was happy I would finally get to have one.

I saw a few people gathered together in the ceremony space, mostly groomsmen and family, but there were a few unfamiliar faces from Jake's guest list. I smiled at them and waved.

And then I heard the music.

We'd hired a guitar player to play our wedding theme. We didn't do much decorating as the forest itself was so beautiful. The cake and chairs were the only things adorned with manmade decorations in our colors: orange, brown, red, and yellow, like the leaves around us now.

When my bridesmaids were finally in place, it all began.

I fidgeted nervously while I waited for Charlie to come and get me. He agreed to give me away, although he seemed a bit gruff about it when I asked him. Now he stood before me, smiling from ear to ear and holding out his arm.

"You look beautiful Bells," He admitted, a tear forming in his eye. "I never thought I'd live to see this day."

I laughed and gave him a slight punch. "Well I guess you were wrong," I grinned and took his arm. "Well, here we go."

Charlie led me around a tree and into the middle of the ceremony.

I looked around briefly at how beautiful everything was, but my true focus was on Jacob.

He stood at the altar, dress pants and a white dress shirt, his hair ruffled gorgeously, and a goofy grin on his face. He was perfect.

I felt my heart flutter to my throat as I followed Charlie down the aisle. If I didn't pay attention, I'd trip and fall flat on my face I was so excited. We'd asked Sam to get ordained for the ceremony, so he stood next to Jake at the altar, a grin on his face as well. Everyone seemed to be smiling today.

Charlie and I reached the end of the aisle. He kissed my cheek, shook Jacob's hand, and scurried to his seat beside Renee. I caught a glimpse of her before I turned to face Jake. She was crying. I smiled at her.

Sam began, but I barely heard him. All of my attention was on Jacob. He held my gaze, a wonderful happiness in his eyes. I almost laughed, but I stopped myself. We'd have plenty of time for laughter in our future.

Our new puppy sat next to Embry in the wedding party, yelping occasionally and panting. I smiled at him as well.

"Now," Sam said finally. "It's time for the vows."

I shook myself from my eye contact with Jacob and accepted the little piece of paper Angela handed to me.

I cleared my throat. "Jake," I began, trying to keep the tears from entering my voice. "There's not much I can say to you that I haven't already said at some point in our lives. I just want you to know that I love you, and I never thought I would be so lucky as to fall in love with my best friend in the whole world. You make me happier than I ever thought I could be, and for that I can't thank you enough." I paused to wipe a stray tear from my cheek. Jake chuckled at me and I glared at him for a moment before pressing on. "And now, here we are, ready to spend the rest of our lives together and I've never been so sure of anything in my life. My balance has always been a little off," I paused for the following chuckles to die down, "but my judgement never was and my gut is telling me that with you, I've made the perfect choice. I love you so much Jacob Black."

I breathed a sigh of relief. I hadn't noticed before the vows but I had been slightly nervous about saying mine. Now that it was over my shoulders drooped into their normal positions as Jake began to speak.

"Bella, you've made my life a living hell." He began. I blinked in surprise but he simply smiled at me. "Chasing after you was the longest, hardest, most tiring task I've ever undergone." The guests laughed again. "But I kept at it. Do you know why? Because I knew that, in the end, you'd be worth it. And guess what? I was right." He paused to stroke my cheek softly, catching another tear as he went. "You're everything I've ever wanted and more, Bells. You're beautiful, smart, funny, charming, and best of all you love me, I think, as much as I love you. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, building a family just like we built our house. If you'll have me, I'll dedicate my life to protecting you and making you as happy as you've made me. On my honour."

The crowd was quiet as Sam moved on to his next bit. I didn't take my eyes off of Jacob. Every word had hit me hard in the heart, and every word had brought me more and more happiness.

"Now, repeat after me: I, Jacob Ephraim Black,"

"I, Jacob Ephraim Black," Jake repeated, mocking Sam's tone and voice.

"Take you, Isabella Marie Swan,"

"Take you, Isabella Marie Swan,"

"To be my lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, til death do us part."

"To be my lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, til death do us part."

Sam turned to me. "Now Bella, you repeat-"

"Sam," I interrupted, a laugh in my voice. "How about I just say 'ditto' and call it a day?"

Jacob burst into hysterics, followed by everyone else in the wedding party, and eventually Sam as well. I grinned, trying to hold in my own laughter.

"Alright, works for me. By the power vested in me by the internet, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Kiss your girl Jake."

And all of a sudden Jake's arms were around me, pulling me against him and crushing my lips with his. I kissed him back, pulling him into me and giggling as he dipped me back. The small crowd erupted in cheers as Jacob and I sealed our vows with one hell of a kiss.

.

The wedding went on all night, people partying and dancing, congratulating and cheering, drinking and eating. I spent the majority of it with Jake, not wanting to leave his side for any reason.

When the night finally ended, we went back to our quaint little cottage in the woods. Jake helped me out of my dress and we shared amazing sex, before drifting off to sleep in our bed. It was then, as I was lying there cradled in his arms, listening to his breathing and the beating of his heart against my ear, I realised that this was where I was meant to be. I would be here, every night for the rest of our lives; next to him, in our house, in our little world. Everything was right in my life, for the first time in forever, and all in all it was perfect.

Just perfect.

Outro is coming in a separate chapter guys :)
