Chapter 26

It has been two days since Spyro and the others met Vex, even though some of the people inside the prison didn't trust him, he did get along with kids pretty well, surprising everybody to the fact a guy that can literally rip you apart, but be so kind to kids. Watching the saurian interacting with some of the cells occupants more and more people began to converse with him finding him decent to be around. After a while everyone came to like Vex, even the guy that fainted being in the same room with him even talked to him.

Looking over to the humanoid snake Rastaban shook his head and began to chuckle to himself seeing his old friend having a good time. As he looked over to Leiks who was laying her head on his chest seemingly asleep but Rastaban knew she wasn't asleep. Deciding to "Wake" her up Rastaban looked around to make sure nobody was looking before he eased a hand down to her inner thigh and began to sensually rub in circles making the dragoness shiver a little before progressing upwards dragging a lone claw up her abdomen slowly. Hearing Leiks stifle a moan Rastaban continued until he reached her neck and began to lick at her neck while making sure nobody saw what he was doing as Leiks eyes snapped open.

"Okay, okay I'm awake." She muttered looking over her shoulder at the brown dragon as he smirked.

"Still not going to stop, you taste better than candy." Rastaban said smirking in amusement as he licked a sensitive spot on her neck making her shudder violently, "Oh I'm sorry did I hit something sensitive?" Rastaban whispered with a devilish tone.

"Please do that somewhere else other than here…your making me sick." Shade said with his eyes still closed right next to them.

"Wow, dude I thought you was asleep." Rastaban said jumping a little at the sound of Shades voice.

"I was until you two woke me up." He replied standing up cracking his knuckles and walking off to the other side of the cell.

"I will get you back for that." Leiks said looking up at the dragon holding her with a glare.

Chuckling at her statement Rastaban said with a smirk, "Sure you will."

Before anyone could say anything else five skavengers walked into the cell causing everyone there to look at them. King on the other hand began to stealthily slither on the ground only to be stopped by a tail from Kurama who shook his head. After a second of scanning the room the leading Skavenger looked around until he caught sight of Vex and pointed towards him. Seeing he was going to go fight again Vex got up without a complaint and walked out of the cell with everybody's eyes on him as he made his way out. Giving everyone thumbs up he and Skavengers left the cell leaving everyone to look at the cell door.

"Hey where did that the guy with the tails go?" a dragon asked only for everyone to look around the cell.

"Well I guess he set his plan in motion then." Flame said getting everyone's attention, "Now all we got to do is wait."

(With Kurama)

As he silently made his way down a corridor Kurama made his way towards the armory only to find it being guarded by two scavengers. Coming up with a plan Kurama walked around the corner making sure for the pirates to spot him. Seeing the kitsune walking toward them the pirates drew their swords and ran forward to cut the Kurama down.

Dodging the first skavenger Kurama kicked him in the back sending the pirate face first into a wall knocking him out. Dodging another strike Kurama grabbed his wrist and redirected the blade into the skavengers stomach killing him as he dropped the body onto the ground.

Walking up to the door Kurama opened it using the key he snagged off of the first Skavenger he kicked into the wall, Kurama opened the armory to see multiple weapon everywhere, looking for his blade Kurama grabbed everyone's sword using his tails to carry them down the hall killing any skavenger unlucky enough to cross his path. Not wanting to alert the whole ship Kurama threw the dead pirates overboard getting rid of all evidence of him being there.

"Now lets get you back to your owners shall we." Kurama said using the shadows to sneak past all of the pirates easily.

(With Vex)

Having been put back into the arena Vex had been waiting for ten minutes for his opponent. Sitting in the middle of the arena Vex had been tapping the planks of wood in the center out of pure boredom. Slowly losing his patience Vex got up and began pacing back and forward for five minutes waiting for something to happen…the suspense was killing him. After another five minutes of pacing Vex heard the familiar thumps of gold hitting wood from the balcony. Looking up to see Skabb standing near the railing with those two annoying parrots perched on his shoulders as usual. But something felt off, the parrots were looking at Vex with a cruel smirk that made him raise a brow at the two one eyed birds.

"What are you smiling at?" Vex said looking both of the parrots.

"Oh nothing just a little surprise for you Ripper, and we want to share it with you." Sniff said looking at the camouflaged colored saurian.

" And what would that be." Vex said crossing his arms flicking swishing his tail in the dirt.

"Just turn and look for your self fool." Scratch said looking behind the saurian with amused eyes.

Raising a brow Vex turned around and was met with the sight of another saurian…a female saurian. She had a hood similar to a cobra and black scales on the back of her hood was two big red circles with a black triangle in the middle she was wearing black leather form fitting pants with a leather jacket. As Vex inspected her with his eyes he ended up meeting two grass green orbs with slits in the middle of them and they looked angry. Before he could make any other assumption she threw a familiar sheathed sword at him which he caught making some of the skavengers in the audience back away from the railing in fear of being sliced and diced. Looking at the cobra like saurian in confusion he saw her pick up a pole that was about nine or ten feet long with a blade on each end.

Seeing the look of recognition in his eyes she smirked giving the pole a twirl before bringing it to a stop with her right holding behind her back, "Look familiar Vex." She said to see him widen his eyes in surprise before continuing, "If not then I geuss I need jog your memory." She said dashing forward.

Catching Vex by surprised he barely blocked the bladed staff with his sword only for her to spin around and hit Vex in the face with the rod a few inches away from the blade. Falling down onto his back Vex quickly rolled out of the way as the cobra like saurian stabbed the ground with her staff standing up Vex was met with a foot to the face as she swung around the pole with her legs extended outwards knocking Vex across the arena with a massive headache.

"Aw I'm sorry did that hurt." She said seeing Vex shake his head to get rid of the stars in his vision.

"Who the hell are you and what do you want from me?" Vex said holding the sword out in front of him preparing himself for another attack.

"Aw I'm hurt you don't remember me, let me give you a hint." As she said this, the black-scaled saurian dashed forward and used her staff to stab one end into the ground, pole-vaulting into the air without letting go of the staff. As she came down she swung the staff while coming down to add more force to the strike. As Vex decided to block the attack he brought his sword up to block the strike, which turned out to be a bad idea, because right before his hellfire colored eyes the sword broke in two like a twig.

"That went so much better in my head." Vex said looking at the broken sword in his hand until he saw a very familiar mark on the sword, " Wait a minute this is the first sword I crafted before the village got attacked, but didn't I give it to someone as a present." Vex thought looking at the handle of the blade as he searched his memory trying to remember who he gave it too.

"You remember that sword don't you Vex." The female said with a voice full of venom.

"How did you get this sword?" Vex asked looking her in the eyes as he threw away the handle.

"Well you should know dumbass after all you gave it to me."

When she said that something in Vex's mind clicked as one name came from his mouth.

"Zia."

"Somebody give him a prize you finally figured it out, now earlier you asked what I wanted from you am I correct?" Zia said looking him in the eyes as she spoke, "I'm here to avenge my father that you killed in cold blood you sick bastard." Zia screamed out in a fit of rage.

"What are you talking about?" Vex said with confusion written all over his face.

"Don't you dare act like you don't know what I'm talking about Vex, I saw you take his life with that peace of shit sword!" Zia hissed before swinging her staff trying to cleave Vex from his waist only for him to jump back with the blade inches away from cutting into his stomach.

"Zia I don't want to fight you." Vex pleaded not wanting to fight her for something he didn't do.

"Well to bad, I don't feel the same way about you." As Zia said this she swung her staff again at Vex's legs making him jump above the staff only for Zia to continue the with the swing and strike the saurian in the face with the metal rod.

As Vex spun through the air he hit the wall not wanting to fall down into the pit and be impaled by the spikes Vex pushed off of the wall grabbing the edge of the arenas he pulled himself back onto the platform to his feet. Looking toward Zia who twirled her staff before charging towards him again leaving Vex to mutter to himself, "This going to be painful."

(With the others)

As Rastaban and the others were waiting for either Kurama and Vex to come back Rastaban put both of his arms through the gate that held them prisoner bored out of his mind as he swished his tail back and forward. As all of the occupants inside of the cell waited for what seemed like hours they all heard the one voice none of them wanted to hear again.

"Hello Rusty." Said the same Skavenger that insulted him for the past two and a half days.

"What do you want you mangy eyed mutt." Rastaban said annoyed at the nuisance in front off him.

"Nothing just came to annoy you again."

"Well congratulations you are asshole number two on my to kill list." Rastaban growled out through gritted teeth.

"Oh really and what are you waiting for?" the skavenger asked.

Before Rastaban could reply he saw a familiar figure standing behind the skavenger with all their weapons making him smirk and answer, "Look behind you and find out." Seeing the skavenger raise an eye brow, he turned around and was met with a foot to the chest knocking the wind out of him and making him stumble back and hit the gate. Before anyone had time to blink Rastabans hands grabbed the skavengers head and twisted snapping his neck before he roughly pushed the corpse to the ground, "I told you I would snap your neck."

Kurama choosing the time to unlock the gate, he took the dead skavenger and tossed him out of an open window, which was conveniently placed by the cell. As he handed everyone their respective weapons Kurama turned towards the rest of the prisoners and pointed to the direction he came from, "Look that way leads to the life boats that are able to get you out of here there other people there waiting to lead you the rest of the way you all have a limited amount of time so suggest you haul ass."

Not having to be told twice all of the cells occupants ran to the direction Kurama pointed to freedom. As they watched everyone run to the lifeboats Fury came up to Kurama and asked, "How did you get out of the cell without anyone noticing?"

"Well last night while everyone was asleep, I broke a hole in the ceiling and killed two of the pirates above me, while they were sleeping." Kurama answered with a barely visible smirk on his face thanks to the mask being there.

"Ok now lets go get mister Ripper I have a feeling he might be in trouble." Shade said as he flicked his hands to the side unsheathing his nine-inch blades from their hiding places.

"Well what are we standing around here talking about it let's go." Raven said as he took off down the hallway with the others behind him.

(With Vex)

For forty minutes straight Vex was being torn apart by Zia as she hacked away at the python headed saurian. Receiving a kick to the chest Vex was sent to back before sliding to a stop coughing up blood that seemed to leak from his body from numerous cuts around his body. As he went to stand back up, Zia swung her staff aiming to take his head off only for the Vex to roll away from the strike. Zia seeing him dodge the attack used the staff to launch herself toward the saurian and deliver a kick to his chest sending him to his back. Not stopping there Zia took her staff and quickly stabbed Vex in his right shoulder making him shout in pain earning a roar of approval from the crowd in the arena.

"Doesn't so good to be on the receiving end of a blade does it." Zia hissed looking at the pained expression on Vex's face before she stomped down hard on his chest making him cough up more blood on to his chin and chest. Seeing Vex about to pass out she brought her foot off of his chest and kicked his chin waking him back up with a groan, "Don't pass out I want you to feel this."

Pulling the bladed end of the staff out of his shoulder Zia forcefully stood Vex up and began to twirl her staff faster than any eye could follow, as it became a blur of motion. Slashing at the dazed saurian Vex was suddenly being littered with deep cuts for ten seconds straight before she decided to end his life by spinning around and thrusting her staff forward through his chest and out of his back with blood spraying out of the fatal wound as it began to pool under his feet. As Vex eyes widened as a gasp of pain was the only thing that came from his mouth, as all of this happened Rastaban and the others were arrived just in time to see the whole thing.

"VEEEEEEEEEEEX!" Rastaban shouted out getting the attention of every skavenger there causing them to jump down from the stands and attack the dragon only to be cut down in an instant.

As chaos ensued around the two saurians Zia yanked her staff out of Vex letting him fall to his knees before falling down face first into the ground. As she went to leave a skavenger tried to blindside her only to be cleaved in half from the waist dead before he hit the ground. Knowing Skabb had betrayed her she looked toward the ground to see the captain himself walking toward her with sword in his hand.

"That take this personally my dear, its just business." Sniff said

"Well it's to late for that you pathetic waste of life." Zia hiss before she swung her staff in a circle decapitating four skavengers at once before she charged forward looking forward to killing Skabb and the rest of the skavengers on board.

Chaos was all one could describe the scene as blood and body parts began fill the area as everyone fought for the right to live. The stench of death lingered in the air as many fell Zia and her staff or by the ninja and the serpent through out all of the fighting none noticed Vex twitch before he began to chuckle hearing the chuckle everyone there stopped hearing this as they slowly turned to the source of the chuckle. The chuckle then became sadistic laughter as Vex slowly stood up making everyone back away from the thought to be dead Saurian as his voice became a little raspy. As they looked closer they could see all of the wounds that riddled Vex's body began to heal rapidly only leaving his blood that covered his body looking into Vex's eyes everyone noticed that his left eye began to turn red covering most of the gold in it.

"So Vexy needs my help again, weakling can't even handle his pissed off ex from the past." Looking around at the carnage "Vex" could saw everyone looking at him wary of his change in personality, "The hell you looking at."

Hearing that, one skavenger decided to try and strike the saurian from behind ran forward only for that to be a fatal mistake. When "Vex" kicked up a discarded sword off the ground and stabbed the skavenger in his shoulder pinning him to the ground as he screamed in pain.

"You sit tight I'll deal with you after I get my sword." The insane saurian said before he wiped some of his blood off of his chest before ripping the amulet off of his neck and wiping the blood on the ruby. After a few seconds the amulet began to glow blinding every occupant within the arena until the glow subsided. As everyone opened their eyes they saw him holding a blood red katana that that seemed to let off a feeling of dread and sorrow making some take a step back in fear. Seeing this "Vex" then lifted the blade to his lips and kissed it before speaking, "Daddy missed you Soul ripper." Before he swung the sword cutting off the skavengers pinned down shoulder and arm making him spring up in pain and surprise to be cut in half by the waist before kicking his legs out from under him literally to Skabb's feet before looking around the arena with bloodlust in his eyes "I like the name you gave me, Ripper was it? Well I only got one question for all of you…who's next?" Ripper said grinning like mad pointing his sword at everyone before his eyes landed on Zia making her jump into her combat stance, "Not you, I'll deal with you later." Before turning back to the rest of the occupants in the arena, "Now I'll ask again…who's next?" After he asked the question all of the Skavengers charged toward the saurian that had a massive bloodthirsty smile on his face, "That's more like it."

(Skillet- Monster)

Like lambs to the slaughter skavengers fell left and right being cut down by Ripper as he sliced through five skavengers all at the same time. Taking the time to kick one of the pirates off the platform and into the pit of spikes he turned around and slashed one of their legs off from under him letting the skavenger scream in pain looking at where his legs used to be. Sheathing his sword with a blood red sheath that magically appeared with the sword. Ripper quickly drew the sword and cut through ten more skavengers with one swing. Turning around he slashed one apes hand off before throwing his sword up into the air. As it came down Ripper caught the handle of the sword with his serpentine tail before doing a handstand and began to spin around with the sword slicing every pirate to bits. None of the pirates even had a chance to escape the attack, as they were either dead or missing a limb. Looking toward the only remaining pirate Ripper began to make his way toward Skabb dragging the blood soaked katana on the ground leaving a trail.

"What are you doing voodoo brain fire thee cannon." Scratch yelled as the chest on top of Skabb's back opened to reveal a cannon before shooting a cannonball towards Ripper only for the saurian to cut the ball in half.

"You'll have to do better than that." Ripper laughed maniacally as he blocked a slash from Skabb's hook and kicked the huge skavenger in the stomach making him double over into an uppercut to the chin.

As Skabb jumped back surprising Ripper at the distance he covered with the jump before he began to hop on one leg and take the gun off his right leg that acted as a foot and began shooting at Ripper who deflected all of the bullets with Soul ripper while running forward with a crazed smile on his face. Seeing Ripper run toward him Skabb threw his hook, which was attached to a cable toward Rippers face only for him to catch the hook and cut the cable. Before anyone could blink Ripper switched used the hook attached to the cable to wrap around Skabb's waist before pulling him forward with surprising strength and headbut his larger opponent in the head making the big idiot of a skavenger stumble back as blood began to run down the side of his face.

Having had enough of the saurian Skabb raised his blade as lighting struck it before slamming it down in the ground causing an energy wave to come out from the blade heading for Rippers legs. Ripper responded by slamming his sword down just as the wave reached him dispelling it shocking Skabb and the parrots on his shoulders, never has some one stopped that attack with a simple swing of a sword. As Skabb took a step back in pure fear ready to make a run for it, unfortunately for him this action did not go unnoticed.

"To late to back out now big guy." Ripper said as he dashed forward with surprising speed and slashed in five different directions before he slid to a stop behind Skabb. It was only after a few seconds that Skabb's head along with Scratch and Sniff rolled off of their shoulders before they fell apart.

Looking around at the carnage he had caused with satisfied smile on his face Ripper turned toward Zia and said one bone-chilling sentence as he walked toward her with a smirk and Soul ripper shining from one of the sunrays hitting the metal, "Now to deal with you."
