Chapter 26: A New Ally

Kanna was slowly walking against the cobbled streets as she used a black umbrella so shield her from the glorifying sun. She wanted laugh as her dark orbs starred up at the sun for a moment, how funny that when looked at the sun blazing brightly in the sky that it reminded her of the male pureblood that she had trusted so deeply.
"How conniving you are Kuran Kaname" Her eyes moved away from the sun as she left its power slowly taking over.
The sun that I adore and trusted so deeply, but cannot stand next to for too long simply because I will burn, that is the fate of a vampire and that is her fate shall she betray Zero and go to Kaname.
She knew that he had a familiar following her and if it was not one of his familiars it was Seiren herself. She respected the woman greatly for her loyalty towards the male pureblood after she had found out how Kaname and Seiren became connected to one another.
But today she was lucky no one was following her and it must have been the simple reason was because Zero was out of the country doing several meetings with other Hunter Associations around the world.
Her feet slowly came to a halt as her eyes lifted to see the person of the immense power flowing throughout the air.
Blonde curly hair looking at her directly as she too was under an cream colored umbrella. A wicked smile forming onto her lips as her bright eyes shone as they connected with her own.
"Lady Kiryuu" She greeted her brightly but Kanna knew that they did not stumble into each other by accident.
"Lady Shirabuki, it has been a long time"
"So it has, Oh! That reminds me congratulations are in order for the future of the Kiryuu clan."
She thanked the woman as she followed her eyes directed towards the children clothing store that was right beside them.
"Shall I help you pick out some baby clothes?" Even though she had made the statement as a question the dark haired female knew it was not a question at all.
"Of course lady Shirabuki" The two female purebloods entered the store as they were greeted by one of the female employees.
Kanna observed as the other female pureblood walked around the store looking at baby clothes.
"Do you know the genders yet?" her bright eyes diverted from the rack of tiny clothing's towards the dark haired female.
"It is yet too early to know lady Shirabuki."
"What a shame girl clothes are so adorable don't you think lady Kiryuu?"
"Sara" She whispered the other pureblood's name lightly as she looked at the older woman. "What is it you want?"
Sara in turn smiled back as she looked at the younger female pureblood.
"The real question is what do you want Kanna." Her feet moved coming a bit closer to the younger female with a cute little cream colored dress stopping only a few inches away from her body.
"I have something you desire and you lady Kiryuu have something I desire."
Her dark eyebrow lifted there was nothing Kanna could offer and her and there was nothing Sara could give her.
Everyone knew that Sara Shirabuki was after the Kuran throne to rule their kind for eternity but Kanna had no way of giving it to her.
"I cannot give you what you want Sara."
The grin on the blonde haired female pureblood became bigger and much darker as she snickered.
"That you can because you have Kaname Kuran in the palm of your hands…" she waited as Kanna observed the female a bit for a moment as she continued, "And I have your freedom in the palm of my hands."
Her dark smirk turned rather bright as her personality changed drastically, "Shall we make a deal?"

I know this is a very short chapter but I wanted update and I am having a serious writers block.
