Chapter 26 – Mock Wedding
Beach
Around morning, Meru suddenly appeared on their door step which surprises Lucia. The latter asked why she visited then the former simply reply with a cheerful smile saying she want to meet Kaito again much to Lucia's dismay.
So Meru accompanying by Lucia, Hanon, Xylon, and Daylix went to the beach to find Kaito. "I wonder where Kaito-sama is." The little blue mermaid looking around but with a few people she couldn't see Kaito.
"Try looking at the sea…." Xylon walking beside her and pointed the ocean while saying, "He always surfs every time he went here…." In response she complies by looking at the ocean to see if he's there.
Behind them, Lucia, Hanon, and Daylix walking behind them, "Lucia, if Meru takes Kaito-kun from you, don't come running to me." Hanon said a teasing remark.
"E-Even if you say that…" Lucia feeling anxiety especially the way her friend said.
Daylix with a mischievous smile and added another teasing remark, "I heard boys tend to like girls who were younger than them…."
Hearing that, "What!, is it true?!" The pink mermaid was frantic.
"Kaito-sama!"
When Meru shouted his name, everyone look and saw Kaito surfing on the waves.
"Kaito-samaaa!" Meru waving her hands then suddenly says the unexpected, "Kaito-sama! Marry me!"
"M-Marry?!" Lucia shocked of what she just hears from the little mermaid.
"Ok, sure!" Kaito simply agreed to it.
"No way…" The pink mermaid turn pale of what she just heard.
"That was unexpected…"
"Yeah…"
The twins watch the whole thing which surprises them which didn't expect something like this to happen.
Adjacent Chapel - Entrance
In front of the garden arbor made up of plants, Kaito and Meru arrived and now standing in front of the entrance. Unbeknownst to them Lucia was followed them and now hiding behind on of the bushes.
"Is Kaito serious? To marry Meru-chan…" Lucia mumbled while feeling anxious about the idea of Kaito marrying Meru. No matter how you look at it there is a huge age difference between them, Meru is still eleven years-old while Kaito is fifteen so their four-years apart. But after hearing about boys like girls who are younger than them which make her felt uneasy if Kaito is only interested on younger girls.
Behind her, is Daylix and Hippo hiding behind one of the bushes like Lucia. Both of them tag along knowing Lucia will follow Kaito and Meru to the chapel.
"I know Lucia-san can easily get jealous but…. " Daylix said while sighing then Hippo also sighs while saying, "Lucia-san easily gets jealous if a random girl gets too closed to Kaito-san…"
"Yeah…" The young nobody understood for the past months getting to know with the mermaid princesses especially Lucia's personality. "Maybe I shouldn't say that…" She regrets saying it about 'boys like younger girls' who unwillingly cause Lucia to take it seriously. She peeks on Kaito and Meru a bit and said, "But Kaito-san isn't the type to pickups little girls….. He's just a nice guy…" base on her observation he is indeed a nice guy.
"You should tell that to her!..." The penguin said.
"Ah! They're coming this way!" Lucia quickly hid back as Kaito and Meru passed by, she stare at them with jealousy in her eyes, "Ah… They look like lovers while holding their hands like that!"
Seeing her reaction, "Right now is impossible…" Daylix concluded followed by a sigh and said, "It's best we should tag along to make sure she don't do something stupid…"
With that said the penguin simply nodded as both of them decide to follow the pink mermaid princesses to make sure nothing goes wrong.
Marriage Event Building – Lobby
Hanon was sitting with Xylon drinking some refreshments waiting for Rina and Serix to arrive. As they waited, Xylon ate some free samples he ordered then stair at the crowd, "Wow to think that these pretend marriage gimmick thing event attracted a lot of people…"
"It's quite a hit…." Hanon taking a sip of her juice and said, "From what I heard it's really popular towards couples…"
"Yeah that too….." The young nobody didn't care about part as he continues eating his cake savoring the taste in delight, "I more interested with their free cake samples….." as he continue eating while saying, "This is my first time being here…."
The blue mermaid simply smile wryly knowing this little boy in front of her only cares about the free cake samples they served. If his twin sister were here she will make a comment about these whole event and strike a conversation with her but the boy is the almost the polar opposite of her. Hearing that last part, she said, "Really?, I thought you're well versed considering you have been traveling on many worlds before…." despite his childish appearance his actually knowledgeable.
After finishing his cake and for a bit and said, "Yeah sis and I travel to different places but we never stick in for too long…" he recalled their experiences, "We're just ordered what we have to do and then head back…"
"I see.." She understood that during their time when their part of the 'Organization' the twins simply following orders.
"If it's well versed, Serix is the most knowledgeable….." Xylon stated, "He's the one providing us everything we want to know and learn from them…"
Hanon agreed to that thinking that Serix has positive influence towards the twins that's when Rina and Serix walked into the building, "Rina, Reis, over here!" she called out their names.
Rina and Serix looked over to see Hanon and Xylon, "Hanon. Lyon. There you are." She walked over together with Serix and seat together with them then Serix asked, "So What's the occasion?"
After Hanon explained the situation to her, Rina said, "What? Meru Kaito are going to get married here?"
Serix was snickering and Xylon laughing while Hanon explained, "It's really just a mock wedding event." "Here, look at that."
Hanon pointed to a nearby advertisement sign that was hanging and Rina read out what was on it, "'Sample experience wedding?'"
"It's a gimmick to bring in customers." Hanon told her. Rina understood saying, "Oh, so Meru and Kaito aren't really getting married then."
"Kaito-kun's just pretending to go out with Meru because she's a kid." Hanon said to them. Serix couldn't help but say, "I take it that Lucia didn't take it well."
Xylon laugh and said, "Yup, Lucia turned white as a ghost when she heard Kaito-san's reply."
"Oh boy, Lucia-san's spent all this time getting close to Kaito-san when Meru pops out of nowhere and springs the question. Man that's just too funny." Serix simply stated while giggling, "I wish could saw the look on her face…"
"Speaking of which, what's Lucia doing anyway?" Rina asked. Hanon simply replied, "She's not very happy. Lucia's following them right now."
Xylon sighs and said, "She takes anything related to Kaito way too seriously."
"If it's a girl involved, she'll take it seriously but really even a little girl…" Serix stated while sighing, "How obsessed is she?..."
Then Hanon claps her hands together and smiled saying, "Sounds fun, doesn't it?"
The three of them looked at Hanon oddly as Rina said, "Sounds fun? Hanon, sticking your nose in other people's business…"
Serix gave a small nod and Xylon simply finishing his drink as Hanon said, "I'm not sticking my nose in! How rude." Then Hanon took a sip of her drink before she went on, "But Meru is a girl from my kingdom and Lucia is my friend so, I want to cheer for both of them!"
Rina sighed and said, "You really are irresponsible when it comes to other people's romances."
Serix chuckled as Hanon wink and said, "Don't worry about it. Let's go watch other people's romances together!
Hanon finished her drink and got up motioning them to follow. Rina, Serix, and Xylon finished their drinks as Rina asked, "So, you think something's going to happen?"
"If this is Lucia we're talking about, then something is definitely going to happen. Something always does when it involves Kaito, doesn't it?" Serix replied then Xylon added, "Along the way she may end up looking like an idiot…"
"…You got a point there." Rina said. Then Hanon shouted, "Hey, hurry up!"
"We'd better hurry and see what her highness wants." Serix said. Rina and Xylon laughed as they nodded and the two of them rushed over to Hanon who was waiting for them.
Adjacent Chapel – Courtyard
Lucia hiding behind one of the tables filled with pastries continuing spying on Kaito and Meru. "Kaito… Having such a fun conversation with Meru-chan!" seeing them enjoying themselves make her very upset.
On her right side, Hippo sitting beside her while eating cake, "Lucia-san, Meru-chan is not really going to marry Kaito, so there's no need to worry so much." He clarifies situation.
And on her left side, Daylix sitting beside her also and eating cake, "Yeah don't get jealous over a kid…" she takes another bite and said, "Kaito-san is just being nice to her…."
"But it makes me mad." Lucia still annoyed of the sight of Kaito together with Meru, "That Kaito is pretending to marry some other girl… I don't want to see it."
"If you're annoyed…"
"Then you shouldn't have come here.
Both the nobody and penguin stated while continuing eating cakes.
"I don't want to see, but I'm curious!" The pink mermaid corrected her reason of following them then instantly grabbed two cupcakes and gobbled one by one still annoyed about the whole Kaito marrying Meru.
"That's called stalking…" Daylix corrected her while sweat dropped then Hippo added, "Eating based on your emotions will make you fat!"
"Shut up! Leave me alo-." She tries to rebuke their statement but choked on the cupcakes she ate and fell backward.
"Are you all right, Lucia-san?!" Hippo panics and jumps down to check on her and Daylix also join in while holding a glass filled with juice, "Here drink this…." She urges Lucia to drink it.
Lucia immediately took and drink it, "Thanks.." the pink mermaid feeling relief that she didn't choke out then her expression turn to dismay as she look at her favorite shirt covered in stain,"Aww… I liked this shirt, too." She slowly stands up.
Hippo put the chair where Lucia's sat back and said, "Really now… Then don't let your emotions dictate your appetite!"
"Even if you say that…."
"I saw a fountain over there…" Daylix pointed a drinking fountain near one of the bushes then Hippo urges, "Come on. Let's go wash if off." He motions to follow him.
"Okay." Lucia follows Hippo and Daylix joining them also.
Adjacent Chapel – Courtyard
The four of them went around the building, and they managed to sample a number of cakes especially Xylon get two slice of cakes along the way. Now Hanon, Rina, Serix, and Xylon were in front of a rose archway that led to the church, where they saw a number of dressed up couples in front of the entrance. They watched as Hanon said, "So this is where humans get married."
"Yeah…" Rina said, sounding a bit bored. Then Serix said, "Well, this is one of the main places where people get married actually. I have heard of other marriage ceremonies where they take place in other places, like beautiful courtyards and this one time, on a spectacular beach. But a church is one of the more, well, used places since it's quite romantic."
"Eh, its sounds like you've been through a few Reis." Rina said. Hanon and Xylon turned to Serix as he replied, "Nah, there have been a number of weddings I saw and been with when I was human. I've attended a number of them since they're friends and acquaintances, so I have a general idea what goes on, not to mention that each wedding was quite unique in their own way."
Hanon was amazed by that as she turned back to the crowd of couples and said dreamily, "Somehow, everyone looks so happy."
"Yeah.. Maybe I should attend one so I could get free cake…" Xylon said in a different opinion while still eating the slice cakes he took from the table.
That's when they heard a voice say, "Your bride's not here yet."
Rina and Serix turned to see two men in suits, one who was one of the staff members, and the other being a groom with a worried look on his face. The staff member said, "There's not much time until the ceremony."
The worried groom replied, "I'm sorry." Then Rina commented, "Looks like not everyone's happy."
"I can see that." Serix observed. Then Hanon said, "The hotel chapel looks so cute. I want to marry Taro-chan in such a place…"
That's when Hanon went off in her fantasy, shouting, "Oh! I'd be so happy!" Rina and Serix sighed as Rina said, "Go tell that to yourself sometime when I'm not around."
"Hear, hear!" Serix added. Then he whispered to Rina, "Let's keep on going, or else we'll be listening to Hanon's fantasy go on all day. I don't think I want to hear it when she starts going on about their future kids."
"I hear that." Rina agreed, "Hanon, let's keep looking around." Then Serix look at the young nobody , "Lyon finish eating that and let's go…"
Hanon snapped out of it and Xylon finish eating his cakes both of them nodded, then the four of them went on to tour the courtyards, which were decorated with roses and such.
Near one of the bushes there is a gazebo and within it a water fountain, Lucia try wash out the stain of her favorite shirt, "We washed it right away, so it won't stain, right?" she try rubbing out all the stain from her shirt.
"Probably not." Hippo who was standing on the edge of the fountain, "Yeah.." Daylix beside it agreed also then the penguin jump down and headed to his favorite destination.
"Ah, Hippo, where are you going?" Lucia asked then Hippo stops and answers, "Where? There's lots of cake left!" but sweat dropped and he rephrase his words carefully by saying, "Ah, I mean it would be bad if we lose Kaito and Meru, so I'm going to go on ahead and follow them!" with that said he left in a hurry.
"Ah, ok…" Lucia immediately believe his words but, 'Albeit is the cakes he's after..' Daylix didn't buy it considering with all the free cake samples she already guesses that Hippo will take this opportunity to eat it all which made her sighs.
"Awww… It's not coming off." The pink mermaid sighs as she take out her shirt from the water, "If I wear this while it's wet, it'll feel gross!"
Daylix thought of an idea, "How about I can warm it up with my magic.." she suggested causing Lucia to look at her, "Really! You can.."
"Yeah…" The young nobody about to use her magic to but she sense familiar presence coming their way, "But maybe later…"she quickly went off and hid behind the bush.
"Where are yo-" Lucia was about to say something, "Lucia!" hearing a familiar voice she turn around and saw Kaito standing near the gazebo holding a plate filled with two orange drinks."K-Kaito! What are you doing here?" she didn't expect him to appear before her.
"You, too. Why are you here?" Kaito also asked the same question as Lucia.
"Well I… uh… um…" Lucia trying to think the words she wants to say then blurt out while blushing, "I came to eat the cake!"
Behind the bush, Daylix almost trip and sweat dropped, 'That's the first words you want to say to him…' as she continue spying on them.
"Oh, I see." Kaito simply accept her reason with a vague reaction causing Lucia to sweat dropped at that, "See ya." He walks away.
"Ah, Kaito." Lucia quickly walks up to him as the latter stopped, "What is it?"
"A-Are you really going to do the wedding with Meru-chan?" She asked a sudden question causing Kaito laugh and said a teasing remark, "Are you jealous?"
"N-Not at all!" Lucia frantically denied it, 'Yes you are…' Daylix stated still hiding behind the bush.
"You dork: she's a kid." He assured him, "No need to get so worked up." With that said and left to meet up with Meru.
Despite what he said, Lucia still upset about it, "Kaito, you moron."
Marriage Event Building
After Daylix drying Lucia's shirt with her magic both of them went back inside the building. As they continue walking on the hallway, Daylix walking behind Lucia notice the latter was rather silent like she was deep in thought.
Lucia thinking of what Kaito said as she stopped in thought, 'Kaito so insensitive!' still upset about it, 'Don't you know it makes a girl sad to see the guy she likes hanging out with another girl…let alone getting married, even if it is fake.' She sighs heavily.
Seeing her reaction, Daylix sighs then hops a bit then *SMACK*hit Lucia's head. "Ow…" the latter groaning in pain as she turn around and look at the former with teary eyes, "Why did you hit me?"
"To knock some sense out of you!.." The young nobody stare her with stern eyes and hands on her hips, "Like Kaito said you don't need to get all worked up about it!…"
"But.." Lucia tries to retort.
"I'll tell you something…" Daylix asserted by saying, "Kaito is not the type of guy who flings on one girl after another in a sense his not a playboy despite being flirtatious and easygoing base my observation about him… Overall his a nice guy.." she stated, "It's just who he is a nice guy…"
"Even so…"Lucia still has doubts.
"I get it your jealous of Meru marrying him even though it's just a fake marriage.." Daylix assured her by saying, "Just try to endure it once in a while it's not like he has special feelings for her or anything he's just being nice to a kid.."
After hearing that, "You're right", Lucia understood "I'll try…" that there is no point worrying about it considering that's part of Kaito's personality.
"Good..", The young nobody smile at her for being understanding then suddenly when she glance to her left side and saw two familiar figures on the swimming pool, "Now if you excuse me I have something to take care of.." she left immediately.
"Ah where are you-" Lucia about asked but Daylix is already far from her as the latter already went outside.
Marriage Event Building – Outdoor Pool
Now she's outside the building and look around too make sure there were no people in sight. As the coast is clear she showered herself with light particles to make her invisible and made way the swimming near outside the building.
She hid behind the bushes and watches two familiar figures enjoying the pool. The figures were none other than the water demons Izuru who was lying on the lounge in purple swimsuit enjoying drinking orange juice and Eriru who was enjoy swimming in pool.
Daylix pondered why they're here, to get her answers she approach them closely and listen to their conversation.
"Ah, this feels great! Every now and then you really have to take some time off to rest!" Eriru enjoying herself by swimming back in forth while, "We're really wasting our bodies by not doing this more often!"
Izuru smiles and agreed with her fellow water demon that they should do this more often. Then her expression replace with a glum while sighing, "Gaito-sama's demands are kind of harsh, too." She stated, "If we could catch the mermaid princesses that easily, we wouldn't have such a hard time." and takes another sip on her drink.
"Yeah, really. Lately, Gaito-sama has been really selfish." Eriru pouted then change to love-struck while blushing, "But that's his charm."
"Unlike normal, we agree on something."
"Apparently."
Both of them agreed that's one of their master's qualities which made him so lovely. "I think we're just tired." Izuru sighs as she lies down to relax while Eriru playing the ring floater around her neck like a hula hoop while saying, "I wonder what Maria and Yuri are doing right now."
Behind the bushes, Daylix still spying on them, 'Are the taking a vacation?…' judging the way the look and act seems so, 'But I'm sticking around to make sure…' she decide continue observing the water demons to find out their intentions.
Adjacent Chapel – Courtyard
As they looked around Serix thought, 'Ha, this brings back memories, though there's that one memory I still find quite funny. About the groom's best man was his brother who got drunk and had a relationship with the bride's sister in the closet. Then when the groom's brother decides to make the speech about their wedding he started rattling about the bride's sister in a drunken state. It was quite funny!'
Serix snickered to himself as Hippo appeared to them on a short pillar and said, "Ah, Hanon-san, Rina-san, Reis-san, Lyon-san we have a situation!"
"Whoa, what happened Hippo?" Hanon asked, wondering what had happened. Hippo explained the situation, but Serix didn't catch it so he said, "Uh, what was that Hippo?"
Hippo grumbled and replied, "Like I said, I turned my eyes away for just a moment, and then both Kaito-san and Meru-san were gone."
"And I take it you lost Lucia and Lydia too." Rina added. Hippo looked down with a bit of shame as he said, "Yes, I did."
Serix commented, "I bet you were eating your heart out over all the cake samples being offered, didn't you?"
"N-no I wasn't. Me and Lydia-chan helping Lucia-san keep a vigilant eye on them." Hippo defended. Serix rolled his eyes and said, "Sure you didn't. …"
"I couldn't blame you… Their cake samples were delicious…" Xylon commented. Serix sighs then Hippo said, "What should we do?"
"Hmm, even if she's a kid, Meru is a mermaid, so I doubt that she'd do something rash or get herself hurt…" Hanon replied.
Serix thought an idea as he look at his fellow nobody and said, "Lyon can you contact your sister with your telepathy link?… "
Xylon immediately understood, "Ah that's right I'll try contacting sis…" he close his eyes try to contact his twin sister with their mental link as twins, in a instance he manage to get in touch with her, 'Sis where are you now, are you with Lucia-san?' sending and receiving via message through their link, 'What! I see…'
"Well what did she say?..." Serix asked.
"Sis is not with Lucia-san…" Xylon answers, "She's is currently tailing the water demons…"
"What!…"
"Water Demons! Here!"
Hanon and Rina exclaim as they surprise that the water demons are here.
"Just Great!" Serix sighs, "We'll have to find them and fast…"
Rina then said, "Right. Hanon, Reis, Lyon, let's split up and look for them."
"All right." Hanon agreed. Serix and Xylon just nodded and the four of them split up, leaving Hippo by himself as he said, "Jeez, where on earth did Lucia-san go?"
Marriage Event Building – Outdoor Pool
Daylix still spying on the water demons in order to find out their motives but, "Everything's spinning!" Eriru feeling dizzy for all the spinning on the pool, "The Earth is spinning, the world is spinning…"
The young nobody sighs, 'There really are taking a vacation… Maybe I'm just wasting my time here.. I should go find Lucia-san…' she was about to leave but out of nowhere a paper flew to their direction hinting on Izuru's face.
"What the hell?" Izuru annoyed as she grab the paper that flew to her face and instantly read it that it's a flyer with two women wearing wedding dresses, "What's this? A new wedding dress show?"
"Mermaids love pretty things."Eriru stated while still feeling dizzy from all the spinning.
'Except for Rina-san… Most of a time..' Daylix thought.
"So that means the mermaid princesses might come!" Izuru smiles that they another opportunity to catch the mermaid princesses.
Hearing that, Daylix thought, 'There not wrong about Mermaids love pretty things especially Lucia-san and Hanon-san….. Guess they have a hint of luck on their side but for how long…. I have to contact Xylon…' she sends telepathic messages to her twin brother.
Marriage Event Building – hallway
After searching one part of the building, Xylon met up with Rina after she searched her part, and the two of them were running down the hallway together as Xylon asked, "Have you seen any sign of them?"
"No, they weren't in the building. Maybe Hanon saw them, since she's still outside looking." Rina replied.
Little did they know, Hanon had checked out the chapel already, and she had just missed them by a bit. Xylon instantly receive a telepathic message from her twin sister he shook his head and said, "Sis said the water demons are on the move now."
"Then we must hurray." Rina said, "Kaito, Meru, Lucia… Where did they go?"
That's when someone called out to them, "Hey you two, over here!"
Confused, Xylon and Rina looked towards the source and saw a staff member waving her arm at them, gesturing at them to hurry over. The two stopped in front of her as she said, "The show's starting already!"
"What?" Both Xylon and Rina asked, puzzled. The staff member took both of their arms as she said, "The two of you need to get changed! There's no more time!"
The staff member dragged both of them in with Rina saying, "Hey, wait a min-!" while Xylon was too bewildered to speak as the door closed behind them.
As if luck was mocking them, Kaito and Meru passed by the same spot a moment later looking at the dresses that were on display there. If only luck was on their side today.
Marriage Event Building – showcase hall
As the showing of suits and dresses was going on, Hanon entered the hall and met up with Hippo asking, "Have you found Kaito, Lucia, or Meru?"
"No, not yet," Hippo replied as he was about to say something, "Oh good you two are here…." Both of them hear Serix walking up to them.
"Reis-kun did you find them?.." Hanon asked then Serix replied, "Yeah there all here…."
Hanon and Hippo were surprise the latter asked, "Here? Where did you saw them?"
Serix stares at the crowd while saying, "I can't see them with this crowd but I did sense their presence… their nearby…."
Hanon claps her hand and said, "That's great! There's no need for us to look for them anymore…" happy that they can no longer look around anymore which was very confusing for her part, "Lead the way Reis-kun!"
"Roger that.." Serix comply as the three of them about head to where the others are. Suddenly, there was an announcement that caught their attention, "Now, for the next group of dresses!"
Hanon, Hippo, and Serix turned around to see who was next, as Rina in a white suit with tie appeared from the left, while Xylon in a white fluffy dress with his red long hair tie into a pigtails, appeared and they walked up to each other. Rina holding Xylon's hand as they stood there and the crowd applauded at the display.
Up on stage, Rina was deadpan and thought, 'Why do I have to dress like this and be in the show?' while Xylon was blushing in embarrassment, but not as badly as he thought, 'Why am I wearing a dress!…. And standing in front on a crowd!….'
Hanon, Hippo, and Serix were shocked to see those two as Hanon said, "Rina and Lyon-kun?!"
"W-why is Rina-san and Lyon-san in the show?! Moreover why is she playing the role of the groom and while he's the bride?!" Hippo added, still shocked at the turn of events.
Serix simply snickered at the sight of the two, "I wish I have a camera…"
As they stood there Rina remembered something that one of the staff members told her. Looking down, she saw a photographer down in the middle, ready to take a picture. Wincing inside, she whispered to the embarrass Xylon, "Sorry about this Xylon."
"Huh? What are you-, kya!" Rina swept Xylon off his feet and held him bridal style, surprising him and making him hold onto her neck. The crowd applauded even louder at that as the photographer took a picture. He was blushing even harder as she whispered, "What are you doing?! Put me down!"
"Sorry but bear with it, one of the staff members told me to do this," Rina whispered back, "There's a camera down there, so all we need to do is look and smile before I can put you back down."
Xylon couldn't believe what he just heard, but he did what Rina said. When the next picture was taken, Rina put Xylon down, and the two gave a bow before they walked off the stage.
Back to Hanon, Hippo and Serix, Hanon said, "Aw, I wish I was the one up there. Anyway, Lyon-kun looks cute in a dress!"
"It always happens to him… People mistook him being a girl…" Serix smile wryly and noted that Xylon indeed has feminine appearance despite being a boy.
"I don't think now's the time to talk about those kinds of things. Anyway, those two were probably roped into the show somehow." Hippo said.
Backstage, Rina and Xylon broke apart the moment they were out of sight, still a bit embarrassed at what just happened. They took deep breaths as Rina said, "Oh boy; that was quite the experience. How on earth did we get roped into that anyway?"
"I don't know." Xylon replied. Then he turned on her and asked, "Why didn't you give me a warning beforehand that you were going to do that! It surprised the heck out of me!"
"Hey, one of the staff members suddenly came up to me just before we were supposed to walk out. Believe me; I was just as shocked as you were." Rina defended.
Xylon just sighed wanting to forget the whole thing and Rina look at him and commented, "You look cute in that dress Xylon."
"Yeah Yeah…" The young nobody continue sighing then sulking on the corner, "It always happen to me…. People always mistook me being a girl…"
Rina smiles wryly and couldn't help that Xylon's overall appearance that indeed he looks like a girl in fact a mirror image of his twin sister. As the next couple was called onto the stage, Rina went around and took a peek and said, "Hey, isn't that Lucia over there?"
"What? Where?" Xylon asked, taking a look for himself. Sure enough Lucia was up on stage in a wedding dress with the guy he recognized from earlier at the rose archway.
Looking at the guy next to her Rina asked, "Who's that with Lucia?"
"It's the guy from the rose archway. You know, the guy whose girlfriend didn't show up."Xylon replied recalling the conversation back then while he was eating cakes.
"Oh, I remember now, but what I want to know is why Lucia's up there with him in a dress." Rina said.
Seeing Rina and Xylon on stages was surprising the next one also surprising as well, "Hey, it's Lucia." Hanon was shocked seeing her friend on stage, "She's wearing a wedding dress and holding hands with some random guy."
"She got dumped by Kaito-san and got jealous!'" Hippo simply stated.
"No that's not it…." Serix shook his head and said, "Like Rina and Lyon…. She probably got roped into the show…."
"Even so, she should have picked a better guy." Hanon disappointed at her friend for her bad choice while Serix continue staring at Lucia's troubled expression and thought, 'I wonder how she'll react if Kaito saw her like this…'
Then as if a queue he sense Kaito and Meru nearly close, turn to the right and saw Kaito and Meru not far from him. 'Glad their close by which makes things easy… ' He was about go to them but halt and saw Kaito staring on Lucia who was on stage with another guy with a troubled expression, 'So even he makes a face like that…' seeing Kaito's trouble expression of Lucia with another guy was new to him.
'Maybe I'll just wait a bit long…' Serix wanting to see more Kaito's reaction towards Lucia as he turn his attention towards the stage and watched as the guy's girlfriend actually showed up in a leopard print suit. That's when the guy suddenly jumped off the stage and ran to his girlfriend to embrace her. Serix couldn't help but comment, "You know, that sure makes quite the statement, doesn't it?"
"Yeah… Looks like Lucia is left alone on the stage…" Hanon replied, as Lucia was sweat dropped at the sight the same time glad that both of them made up, but now left standing by herself on the stage.
"That's the guy's girlfriend…."
"Weird…"
Rina and Xylon sweat dropped of what they witness.
"No their quite the cute couple…."
Hearing a familiar voice, both of them turn around and saw Daylix wearing her black coat.
"Daylix!" Rina surprise by her sudden appearance, "Sis!" Xylon what about to say something but her twins sister rush towards him with a hug, "Wow Xylon you look so cute!….." she stated and checking her twin brother's overall appearance and pouted, "I wish want to wear one…"
"I should've have change!…" Xylon blushes, "Wait weren't you spying on the water demons…"
"Where are they now?" Rina asked then, "Well…." Daylix replied while pointing her finger on stage.
"Now, the next new dresses! "
The next batch is two women wearing different dresses; the browning red hair wearing a white dress while other with black dreadlocks hair wearing a black kimono. Serix recognizes the two women on stage are none other than the water demons Izuru and Eriru. 'What are they up to now..' His eyes is focus on them and see what their motives are but along the way the two water demons starting bickering among themselves.
Despite not far from the stage, he could hear their arguing ranting about which of them will be Gaito's bride. 'Here I thought their planning to capture the mermaids…' he sweat dropped in thought, 'They really are idiots.'
Both water demons 'argument began to intensify that they began summoning water from the pool and entered the building which surprises the audience. They attacked each other with their water base attacks without them realizing that they're causing chaos as people ran for cover from water attacks.
'!...' Serix simply dodge with ease then when another wave head towards Hanon. He quickly got in front of her then in one quick motion he deflects the water attacks with his hands.
When the lights went out, "You better transform, before the situation gets out of hand." Serix suggested. Hanon nodded, and she ran off, joining Rina soon afterwards leaving Serix and Hippo themselves then the former saw Meru standing by herself, "Meru is over there…" He ran with Hippo following him over to her asking, "Meru, are you alright?"
"Serix –sama and Hippo, what are you doing here?" Meru asked, surprised by his appearance. Serix was about to reply when Hanon and Rina appeared on stage in their idol forms. In an instant, the chaos ceased and everyone's attention was focused on those on the stage.
Serix watched with them as Hanon said, "A happy place that young maidens dream of…"
"…being trashed by demons will not be forgiven!" Rina finished. Serix raised an eyebrow at that as the two began singing.
"Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start!"

Their song which made the attacks disappears in an instant and started to hurt Izuru and Eriru.

"Damn you Mermaid Princesses!"Izuru snarled in annoyance as Eriru exclaims, "That's not fair! Singing while we were fighting!" they didn't have the chance to fight back or summon any heartless for help.
"What you expect from a bunch of idiots right, sis?"
"Yeah…."
Xylon and Daylix join in with Serix and the others, "Glad you join in…" Serix said then Daylix asked, "Where's Lucia-san?" he was about to reply but Lucia in her idol form showed up somehow on some kind of contraption from above saying, "A wedding is a girl's dream. For Water Demons who destroy it, the three of us will have a Pichi Pichi Wedding Chorus."

As they sing, "Stop it!" "How long are you going to sing?!" the water demons are feeling more of the effects while Serix and the others watch things unfold and couldn't help but think, 'I wonder where she gets her lines…not to mention how on earth she got away from Kaito…'

Feeling dizzy from the song then disappear leaving only the clothes they wear on stage. After it was all done, the audience applauded and Serix couldn't help but think, 'Thank goodness people can be so ignorant at times.' Then he turned to Meru as the lights went out and said, "Why don't we go check up on them Meru?"
"Sure Serix." Meru replied. As they walked, Serix was on the lookout due to the feeling of being watched.
Marriage Event Building – photo shoot
Later, Rina found herself standing with Meru, in a dress of her own. Hanon, Hippo, Serix, and the twins were there too, with Xylon still in his wedding dress for some reason. Off to the side were Lucia and Kaito chatting each other.
Looking at Meru, Rina asked, "Hey Meru, do you really want to take a picture with me?"
Meru smiled and said, "When such a cute girl was next to him. Kaito-sama went and rescued another. Lucia-sama can have him."
"Playing tough…" Rina smile at that statement as Serix added, "Despite your age you've a mature mindset and very understanding…." He glance a bit of Lucia at the back happily chatting with Kaito, "If only she had those traits it'll save us a lot of trouble…." He sighs while Hanon, Hippo, and the twins couldn't help but laugh a bit the same agreed his statement.
Rina smile wryly also agreed his statement, "And you, Rina-sama, are so pretty in a tuxedo!" Meru complimenting how well dress she is despite wearing a tuxedo.
"You think so?" Rina giggled while scratches the back of her head showing a hint of embarrassment, "I'm not sure how I feel…"
Hanon, Serix, and the twins watched as Hanon said, "Rina in a tuxedo looks better than Hippo." then Serix snickered and added tease, "Now that you mention it you're right…"
"H-How can you say that!" Hippo waved his wing-like flippers saying, "My identity as a penguin…"
Hanon laugh at Hippo's reaction, "I'm kidding." She assured him then Serix half-jokingly said, "I'm only half-kidding."
The penguin suddenly get depress hearing that then Daylix reassured him, "He's also kidding Hippo…" then Xylon asserted by saying, "I always see you wearing that… how about wear something different…" he suggested.
"Also.." Meru instantly rushes towards Xylon and hug him, "Xylon-sama you look so cute in that dress!…" beaming with a smile the later was fuming in embarrassment, 'I forgot to take it off!' then followed by Daylix also hugging him, "Always knew you look cute in a dress.."
"Let go of me, I'm not a plush toy…." Xylon dismays while people around him laugh.
As everything settled down when the photographer from earlier came around and went behind the camera saying, "Are you two ready?"
"Yup!" Rina and Meru replied at the same time as Meru wrapped her arm around her. The two smiled and the picture was taken, with the photographer giving thumbs up.
Looking at the current situation, Serix had an idea come to mind and called out to everyone saying, "Hey everyone, why don't we take a picture together. We could get dressed too, so how about it?"
Everyone looked at each other for a moment before Kaito said, "Sure, I don't mind." Hanon agreed to it too saying, "Of course, now I get to wear a pretty dress too!" then Daylix added, "Me three!..."
Xylon simply sigh in defeat, "Guess I'll endure it…"
"This okay with you sir?" Serix asked the photographer. The guy nodded saying, "Sure, since this would make a nice group shot."
After the others got changed, the eight of them took their positions in front of the camera. From left to right, Serix in a black suit and Kaito in a white tuxedo were standing at the back; Rina, Lucia, and Hanon were sitting in front of them, and sitting on the floor elegantly in front of Lucia was Meru together with Xylon and Daylix. The photographer found it to be perfect and said, "Okay, one, two, three!"
Everyone smiled and the shot was taken. The photographer said it was alright and they were free to change. After that, everyone left to get changed except Serix, as the photographer went up to him asking where he should send the pictures.
Serix gave his address and he asked for the picture to be delivered. The photographer nodded and left, leaving Serix by himself before heading for the change room thinking, 'Man, today was quite the day. Well, at least I got an excuse for Maki-san now. Let's just hope he believes me.'
